Simploring 2019 (65) Mystic Timbers

For my simploring tour on Friday, May 31st, I picked Mystic Timbers from scoop.it SL Destinations. Mystic Timbers is located in a full region rated adult. As far as I could find out, Mystic Timbers is owned by sol (solking).

According to the landmark description Mystic Timbers is in the English countryside. It has a bustling harbour, promenades and a narrow beach, there’re vibrant shops to persue at your leisure and there’s a gallery. Mystic Timbers is intended to be a place for photographers and bloggers or just to have fun and to enjoy the environment.

Mystic Timbers – overview

The landing point is in the town close to the harbour. Right next to the where you land is a teleporter board to access 6 different places, that are on skyplatforms. Also quite close to the landing point I found an office with a bit more information. Although Mystic Timbers is an adult sim, you should refrain from nakedness at least on the ground level. You can rent some of the houses at Mystic Timbers.

I decided to postpone a visit to the sky platforms and to explore the ground level first. I started with the gallery and had just a short look inside and at the current exhibition called “Winter and Kazrakk”. I postponed a more detailed visit to the gallery as well.

Impressions of Mystic Timbers (2) – the beach and the main street

I started my visit walking to the beach and I had a look at the 2 small beach houses. Then I walked along the main street of the town. It is quite picturesque and some of the shops are occupied. At the end of the street you reach a lovely park. In it’s center is a pond with some ducks, a swan and a swan boat. And of course there’re several spots to sit and enjoy. Close to the park is also a spot just for photographers where you could pose in front of decorated pieces of a ruin.

At one edge of Mystic Timbers is a farm with all what you expect there, farmers market, a tractor, horses, a stall, a windmill, almost every farm background is available. Along the shore of Mystic Timbers you find various residential houses, from a small hut to a larger manor. As far as I checked none of those are furnished, hence I assume they might be available for rent.

Quite outstanding is the large rotunda. From there you have a nice view on the lighthouse and and to the beach. A large and nicely decorated terrace invites to take a break and to enjoy. Inside of the rotunda is swimming pool that is used for sea plants. You can for sure spend some romantic time in the rotunda.

What else? I saw the ruin of a gazebo and the chapel with a graveyard. I saw some hidden romantic spots to cuddle. I saw many backdrops for pictures. And I saw what seems to be an artists’ colony with  funny houses (one seems to be an old circus trailer).

Mystic Timbers is a quite varied sim that offers a bit of everything for photographers and for people who just like to enjoy a lovely picturesque environment. Thank you sol (solking) for providing the sim to the public! I enjoyed my visit and exploring it a lot.

P.S.: When this post was published I talked with sol who told me that actually a group of 9 People own Mystic Timbers. I asked for a list …. and here it is. Mystic Timbers is owned by: Graice (graice2), Soffy Ronwood, Elise Sirnah, Grace Sixpence, Morgan (morganmonroe1), Lofty Lemur, Bee (filipa emor), Silivren (Neida Rae) and sol (solking). Thank you all!
