Something for the diary again. Jenny was away for the weekend and I was alone Sunday, November 13th. In the afternoon I first spend some time to explore shops and sims and then I took Poison to the Heavy Bondage Club having a look at the weired crowd. My night was a bit fuller. I had slave Daniela, slave Flo and Posion with me. slave Daniela is now 2 weeks with us, staying overnight in a cage in the main house. The slaves are a bit scared as she was a sadistic domme before according to her own words. Here is a picture of me with slave Daniela.

Tonight I took her and slave Flo and Po to “French Ladies in Bondage“, a sim that slave maid cecy proposed. Not a maids sim though, but Jenny asked the slave maids to file in some other sims too. The slave parking inbetween a big garden and a castle took my attention and a parked the subs/slaves there before we had a short look at the sim. It was already late for slave maid Flo and slave Daniela, so we will have to continue exploring this place.

The night ended with Poison at Lochme, where I turned her into my panties with the “Tailor’s HUD”. This HUD is a very old toy and it was popular long ago. The vicitm becomes invisible and what is left is just the tag that is shown above the tailor’s tag. You can turn someone into panties or boots or whatever you can think of. When the victim talks in main it looks like this “Dio’s panties: hi, everybody“. Talking clothes can lead to some great fun and banter. And I had fun with those standing around at Lochme. But unfortunately it became way too laggy as the sim filled up and it was already late and so I had to stop the fun way to early. I will have to repeat using the tailor’s HUD.

An early start into the season – Telrunya Winter

The weekend is often the time I go simploring. I looked at the destination guide and already the 2nd sim in the editor’s pick list – Telrunya Winter caught my eyes.

Telrunya Winter is owned by Nessa Zamora (noralie78) who also created it. I looked up her profile and found that it is not her first “Telrunya sim” and that she has created already several more sims (Lost Unicorn for example).

The winter time is coming again with more snow, christmas decoration and a different kind of fun in SL. Telrunya Winter is my first sim to visit for this season and it was already a highlight of the season. It is just beautiful! It is not just a snowy landscape. The moment you arrive you’re caught by the atmosphere. I turned the music on, slow jazz, and could seemingly smell winter.

What makes Telrunya Winter so fascinating is how Nessa played with light. There’re nothern lights appearing again and again and in the forest other light is shining through clearings. It is the light which provides this cosy atmosphere. And along the paths there’re laterns to illuminate the way. In the middle of Telrunya winter, just close to the landing gazebo, is a big pond which is perfect for ice-skating.

But most of all, Telrunya Winter is a place to dream, to relax and wind down. Simply beautiful! Thank you Nessa for providing this gem for us all!

Just when I finished my visit, I came across Inara Pey’s article about Telrunya Winter. In “A mystical Telrunya Winter in Second Life” you’ll find a more detailed description. Anyway – another “must see” sim in SL.

Diary (111) Nov 12th – slave maid Adarra duet

As reported here, slave cecy is our head slave maid for the moment as she won the game of Cards Against Humanity last week. And slave maid Adarra lost this game and should do the dusting the day after. RL is often against our plans in Second Life and head slave maid cecy needed to get slave maid Flo do the work. But Saturday night, November 12th, slave maid Adarra was online and began to work – good girl.

As it was quiet at home, Jenny is away for the weekend, I took slave maid Adarra to Duet. She couldn’t accompany us last week. And of course I made some pictures. Later I took slave maid Adarra to Mesmerize Dungeon to expose her and to chat a bit. It was a relaxing night.

Ephemeral

Sunday morning, November 6th, time again for some simploring. This time I picked Ephemeral from the SL destination guide.

November 6th – Ephemeral (1)

“Ephemerality (from Greek ephemeros, literally “lasting only one day”) is the concept of things being transitory, existing only briefly. Typically the term ephemeral is used to describe objects found in nature, although it can describe a wide range of things, including human artifacts intentionally made to last for only a temporary period, in order to increase their perceived aesthetic value.” (from Wikipedia)

“Time to reflect the purpose of my art, to serve longevity or fragility?” is what Bufje, owner and creator of Ephemeral, asks. Windlight setting and audio stream (from Ambient Art Sound Radio)are fundamental part of installation, please push play button of viewer.

I think the title is simply brilliant for art in Second Life, as it is temporary in many ways. It is firstly only available for a short time and then it’s gone. Secondly everybody gets different, not easily reproducible views on the art. And thirdly you can change windlight settings and get something total different eventually. I started using the windlight settings that were set for expierencing Ephemeral.
Ephemeral is strange, surreal and it took a while to get deeper into it. Giant beings around me which are threatening just because of their height. The effect is increased as everything is embedded in fog. The fog has another additional effect. Once you get closer to a giant you can see them clearer but you can’t see them as a whole anymore. The ambient music was sort of calming and another contrast.

I was attracted by the giant woman with her two cats and the feeding bowl at her feet. First I only saw the feet and it took a while to see her in full height – not a beauty, yet determined, strong willed and literally standing with her both feet on the ground.

In the middle of the sim, the only coloured spot, standing out is an island of grass an a comparably tiny statue. You can click the grass and choose a ballet dance, what I did.

And then there are on on edge of the art installion many white dice with moving matchstick mans, a screen playing a video showing a horserider. There is so much more to discover but I really miss words describing it, pictures are by far better.

Last but not least, I changed the windlight setting once and took an overview picture. Incredible what windlight settings do with art. Without the right windlight setting, Bufje’s art would be still surreal but miss most of it’s effect. Enjoy your own visit!

Wednesday night, November 9th, was a rare night. When Mistress Jenny and I had caught up and came home to see and inspect the slave maids it got full very quickly. We had the slave maids Flo, cecy, and Slavin C around us, then Argi joined us and our current “guest” Daniela logged on as well. Mistress and I didn’t want to stay just in front of the house and chat, so we decided to play cards against humanity. The table is on Virgo & Tyra’s plot, where we went to. And then slave maid Adarra joined us as well as lateron Kitty, who had to change into her maid dress immediately. We set a prize, the best slave maid is going to supervise the cleaning the next day, the loosing slave will do the dusting. slave cecy was the best slave maid and slave Adarra lost. All slave maids online at the same time plus Kitty, Argi and Daniela – what a rare coincidence!

Of course I had to take a picture after we finished playing but unfortunately I noticed that we “lost” slave maid Adarra on our way back home from the table. Hence she’s missing on this picture.

Some had to leave after taking the above picture. Mistress Jenny proposed that we take the remaining family (Argi, slave cecy, slavin C and Kitty) to Duet and do the freefall together. It turned out not being that easy to coordinate 6 people and we failed starting together the first time, but on the second attempt it worked. It was great fun doing the freefall with 6 people! A real full night 🙂

Not that much to report from the slaves maids. They got the assignment to come up with some places until late night today, places, where we could get best services from them. We shall see about that. If there’s no place, I’ll have to add some more maid chores at home *winks*. Tuesday night, November 8th, while slave Flo was on the hunt for a good place together with Argi, I took Mistress Jenny to Duet. I had visited Duet on October 22nd and there a more detailed report about it here in this blog “A visit to Duet“.
This post will be without many further words. You can see how much Mistress and I enjoyed our time in Duet and I got some really lovely pictures.

Sunday afternoon, November 6th, turned out to be different from what I thought it would be. But that’s Second Life. I met Poison and took her to the Heavy Bondage Club. It was less crowded than it usual is and hence less laggy. I began reading profiles while Posion enjoyed her place at my feet. And this way I came across Madame Aurum (lissa.erin). In her picks I found a text about HeAdLiGhTs – The Core of pure obedience.

Furthermore the next pick of her explains another intention of HeAdLiGhTs, being a HUB of Sims catering to BDSM, fetish and the D/s lifestyle, selected with style.
Of course I had to see the place! It turned out to be an outdated landmark in her picks but there was a board where to go to and this way my Sunday afternoon became a simploring afternoon, but this time simploring a kinky sim.

You land in the HUB area with boards containing information and landmarks to other BDSM or fetish sims. There we met Madame Aurum, who was very nice and welcomed Po and me. Actually the sim has just moved and it isn’t finished at all yet. The HUB area (so called D/s market) has style, not just some boards. There are also boads advertising planned events like a slave market. Outside of the D/s market there’s a lot to see and explore, although it is not finished yet. Po and I saw the slave market and a lovely meeting area. And we explored the entrance to an underground maze, but that’s really not yet finished so it’s better to wait a few days before visiting.

Later, Sunday evening, I went back to HeAdLiGhTs, to this meeting area and took slave Flo and Daniela (scarfdaniela) with me. We might keep Daniela for a while, we’ll see. Anyway I enjoyed teasing slave maid Flo and Daniela in a lagfree environment. We met Madame Aurum again, who confirmed that the sim will be finished soon. I just hope that it gets enough traffic because it is build for it – and not too much traffic to prevent it from getting laggy.

Furillen in Second Life

Saturday, November 5th, I looked up the SL destination guide and came across Furillen. Somehow the name rang a bell, but more about this later. The description read very tempting for me “Furillen depicts an island off the north-east coast of Sweden containing abandoned industrial builds that were once part of a former limestone factory. Remote, bleak and beautiful, this is a Second Life photographers haven.”

Once I arrived at Furillen and saw the cold, snowy, dismal island with the ruins of a former insudstry, I began to do some research about Furillen.Furillen (older spelling Furilden) is an island in Rute on the northeast coast of Gotland, Sweden. For most of the 20th century, there was a limestone industry on the island until it was closed to the public by the Swedish military in the 1970s–90s, when radar installations became operational. The north part of Furillen is a nature reserve and a Natura 2000 area. Since 2000, the old factory buildings from the limestone industry have been used as hotel and conference venues by the Fabriken Furillen (the Furillen Factory) company, owned by photographer and entrepreneur Jonas Hellström. He started out using the abandoned factory and its surroundings as a backdrop for commercials and rock videos. (source Wikipedia)

November 5th – Furillen in Second Life: Arrving at Furillen

There’s a website about this sim furillen.org and I recommend visiting it first. The following information is en excerpt taken from furillen.org. The sim is owned and was created by serene footman in Ocotber 2015. Serene is an university professor in the UK in RL and the author of several books. “I originally ventured into Second Life as a researcher. I have always found creative sims to be the most compelling aspect of Second Life. By creating Furillen, I wanted to provide an environment in which photographers and Second Life wanderers would feel welcomed and inspired.”

The virtual Furillen was designed to retain some of the most distinct and recognisable features of the real Furillen: the airstream, the tree line and pier, for example, together with the large slag heaps that still exist as a reminder of the old quarry. In addition, there are several buildings, the main being a hotel that – on the virtual Furillen – doubles up as an art space with a series of rooms featuring minimalist installations.

Furillen became quite a social space. It is, especially, a place for photographers. Serene has also staged events over the past year, most memorably those devoted to Bowie, Radiohead and Pink Floyd – and it is the Pink Floyd event that rang a bell for me. I’ve visited Furillen before together with Mistress jenny during this event, not konowing about the background of Furillen. You can read in this blog about the Pink Floyd event in the article “Pink“.

It is amazing how perfectly Serene succeeded in making the virtual Furillen looking similar to the real island as you can see when you compare the pictures from wikipedia with the pictures taken in Second Life – chapeau! One of the old buildings is used for exhibitions and right now there’s an exhibition called “Birds” with photographs from laura.

I roamed over the island and climbed on the structures and was impressed how intense you feel to be in a real abandoned industry ruin. The highlight of my visit was the hotel which is placed just behind the tree line. The tree line looks really misplaced on this island in this dismal environment but is also just reflecting the real Furillen. In the hotel each room is a different piece of art, mostly surreal and a heaven for photograhers.

Saturday afternoon, November 5th, we enjoyed having the slave maids around us. First Mistress Jenny took me and slavin C and slave Flo to The Secret House, where we haven’t been for a while mostly because it is quite laggy there usually. Later Mistress and I cuddled on the sofa at home as we supervised the two slave maids cleaning the house. Cleaning goes quite quicker when done by more than one slave maid.

When we had to leave for RL, Mistress decided to give me some extra time to contemplate and left me locked on timers at our private skybox where I watched the slideshow. It’s not the worst thing to do, to kneel and watch pictures as it is relaxing and your mind can wander around of course mostly remembering the situations and scenes the pictures were taken.

Saturday night was quite. I roamed with slave Adarra searching a sim for maid play. Mistress later advised that the slave maids should get it as an assignment. I think that is a nice task and if it doesn’t work the slave maids will get more chores at home. Not much else to be saved for the blog form Saturday 🙂

Thursday night, November 3rd, was short and now that we’re done changing the slaves into their November outfit (except Kitty), we should relax and enjoy some service first of all. And so we did Thrusday night. We had slave maid Flo, slave maid cecy and slavin maid C at home and of course the house was clean. Argi and Daniela were around as well. Not much to report as we simply relaxed – hence this is just a short diary entry.
