Saturday, September 25th, a new art installation at DixMix Gallery was opened on the skyplatform “Womb”: “Somewhere” by Theda Tammas and Iono Allen.

The Womb is a seperate platform in the skies above the gallery. The teleport is right next to where you land.
Once you’re on the platform you should adjust your viewer settings: graphics to ultra (or to the best your system can handle), enabled advanced lighting, shared environment (top menu “world” -> “environment”) and allow media to be played automatically.

The installation extends over 3 levels. “Somewhere” uses a lot of the different creative possibilities of virtual worlds. On the first level, where you arrive, is a big screen quite at the end of the platform. The floor is white, something between snow and sand, the sky is grey, cloudy and dark. The screen shows a film that seems to be made in this environment. A woman with a magnificent head of blue hair is dancing, she almost hoovers over the ground. And step by step other women, twins of her show up. When they are five, all dancing sychron, they disappear into the horizon before the video restarts.

On the left side of the platform is a stair. It leads your to the 2nd level of the installation. The ground has some gaps through which you can see the 1st level below of you and in the sky you see the 3rd level frough even larger gaps. On the 2nd floor are several objects. The woman of the video now appears as animated dancing figure. She dances in or around the objects, she sits in a red net like being caught by it. She dances under huge gates and she watches herself dancing in other videos shown on 2 screens. The combination of light effects with the ground and skies, the videos, the 3D art ojects, the animated and static figures build a unique and permanent changing art installation. You can animate yourself to dance by clicking objects that look like bar stools on the first glance. And then let your mind wander …

Getting on the 3rd level wasn’t that easy as I found no stairs. I tried walking through gates and all of a sudden got to the 3rd level. This level was obviously used for the opening event. Again you find different objects with the woman either dancing of being kept like a prisoner. Once free they dance, seek nearness to each other and follow a lead. They break out of their own prisons and limitations.

Theda Tammas is in SL for more than 14 years. She has had already some exhibtions of her work. I couldn’t find out a lot more about her. If I interpreted it right, then she’s from Brasil (I might be wrong though). Theda has an own website where you can see a lot of her former installations.

Iono Allen is also more than 14 years in SL and not only from his profile I conclude that his main passion is making films, so called machimas. He has an own vimeo channel where I found a video about “Somewhere”.

Many thanks of course also to Theda Tammas and Iono Allen for creating “Somewhere“. Another great installation of the two. It is not the first collaborative artwork of Theda and Iono. Theda made the figures, the art objects and the setup of the installation, Iono made the video clips. Once again I enjoyed my visit.

Diary 2021 (131) September 29th/39th Within our (large) family

Wednesday, September 29th, I had another relaxed afternoon with Mistress Jenny at Puerto Esclava, club Domme a Domme and Heavy Bondage Club. She spent 90 minutes together, first alone, then with slave Lily (Lily Bloodrose) at my leash. Faye come inworld when we were at Heavy Bondage Club and I couldn’t summon her to us as the club was full. Soon later we both had to log to tend ot our RL.

September 29th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Puerto Esclava, club Domme a Domme and at Heavy Bondage Club with slave Lily

We had a quiet and relaxed night within the family. Flo, Angelique and pet were present when we cam inworld. Mistress Jenny wanted to play a skipee but Angelique was absent. Faye Holly joined us and when we wanted to start a greedy Faye crashed. Finally we decided to go to Psi’s realm.

We stayed a while at Psi’s realm, then went on the Carnal Intentions. At both clubs it was comparably quiet and Mistress still hadn’t got her game. We returned home and as Angelique was still more or less absent, and slave Holly had just come inworld, Mistress and Flo played a skipee against slave Holly and me. pet watched. It was a really close game and close games are fun. After we finished pet and Flo went off to bet. Mistress and I wento to Carnal again with slave Faye and slave Holly. Not that there was more going on than before – but at least we had some shiny eye candy and fun teasing Faye and Holly.

And that’s it about Wednesday.

Thursday, September 30th, I met Mistress Jenny in the morning. We hadn’t planned to meet and I had not much time. We spent half an hour at club Domme a Domme, a nice extra time for us.
Mistress and I met in the afternoon again and stayed at Puerto Esclava. We talked a lot about our family and upcoming events like Halloween and we outlined some plans. Faye came inworld and decorated us for 20 minutes, then it was time for us to tend to our RL again.

Our night began with a greedy together with Flo, pet was watching at Mistress’ leash. We went to Mesmerize Dungeon first. We hadn’t been there for quite a while as it was mostly almost empty. That night there were a few more poeple but nothing going on. Somehow, with some people not going there anymore, it lost it’s attraction.
Hence we moved on to Carnal Intentions. It was not only full there, we also filled it well as our group grew. In the end Mistress and and I had our hands full. We chatted mostly amoung us. And of course we also teased.

Art in Second Life 2021 (98) Thunderous Train Of Air by London Junkers

London Junkers invited me to experience his newest installation named “Thunderous Train of Air“. The installation is set up at Kuidvis Art Space, a project that unites art in rl and sl and that offers the artists a chance to show their creativity. Kuidvis Art Space is founded and curated by lylaya.

To best view this installation set your viewer to Shared Environment and turn advance lighting model on. To understand the piece it is (more than) highly recommended the click the book right at where you land or at the center of the round floor to receive a poem, which inspired this installation. To read it, just add the object you will receive.

The poem is written by London Junkers, as far as I understood it. And he wrote it for Ruth Stone, an American poet, author, and teacher (1915-2011).

In the wikipedia entry for Ruth Stone the American journalist and author Elizabeth Gilbert tells a story about Stone’s writing style and inspiration, which she had shared with Gilbert:

“As [Stone] was growing up in rural Virginia, she would be out, working in the fields and she would feel and hear a poem coming at her from over the landscape. It was like a thunderous train of air and it would come barrelling down at her over the landscape. And when she felt it coming . . . ’cause it would shake the earth under her feet, she knew she had only one thing to do at that point. That was to, in her words, “run like hell” to the house as she would be chased by this poem.
The whole deal was that she had to get to a piece of paper fast enough so that when it thundered through her, she could collect it and grab it on the page. Other times she wouldn’t be fast enough, so she would be running and running, and she wouldn’t get to the house, and the poem would barrel through her and she would miss it, and it would “continue on across the landscape looking for another poet.”
And then there were these times, there were moments where she would almost miss it. She is running to the house and is looking for the paper and the poem passes through her. She grabs a pencil just as it’s going through her and she would reach out with her other hand and she would catch it. She would catch the poem by its tail and she would pull it backwards into her body as she was transcribing on the page. In those instances, the poem would come up on the page perfect and intact, but backwards, from the last word to the first.“

London Junkers took this story and made a poem of it, a poem for Ruth Stone. And he not only wrote the poem, he also visualized it in Second Life. His installation has all elements mentioned in the story and the poem: The running girl, the thunderstorm, the whirlwind, the sun, the winged stars, the fields of wheat, the paper and the pen to write down the poem, the sun and light that breaks through the clouds, the dark air. And yes your can almost feel the “Thunderous Train of Air“.

London Junkers is in Second Life for more than 13 years. He runs a store for Gothic clothes “Lnlsquare” in Second Life and, he writes and he visualizes (his) short stories and poems in 3D.

Diary 2021 (130) September 27th/28th The catsuit bug

Monday, September 27th, I met with Jenny in the afternoon. We first caught properly up with our mutual. Jenny had been inworld during her family absence, but we hadn’t had time to really talk. We also talked about my collar. For several weeks I was wearing my patnering collar and Jenny asked me if I desire to keep it on. Of course I wanted, but I also was aware that it was time to get back into my position. Mistress Jenny decided for me and exchanged the partnering collar with my sub collar.
We went to club Domme a Domme next and stayed there for a while chatting amoung us and watching what was going on there. Then we visited slave Faye at Psi’s realm, where we had left her the night before. slave Lily (Lily Bloodrose) was also at Psi’s realm and it didn’t take long that she joined us and slave Faye on the chain. We teased the two and I took a few nice pictures.

Before we left to tend to our RL Mistress retreated with me to our skybox. She made me lick her and I got my fix. That had the intended effect and re-ignited my submission for her as I am addicted to her amd her juices. Thank you, Mistress Jenny.

At night we first played a greedy with Angelique. After slave Holly and slave Alessi had come inworld Mistress Jenny and Angelique played a team skipee against slave Holly and me. It became a quite one sided game as Holly and I had too good cards that night.

We went to Carnal Intentions after the game. On my way to the club I picked up slave Faye at Psi’s realm. And at Carnal Intentions slave Elena (Elenaslv Serenity) joined us. Again we were quite a large group. When the Maurer’s enter a club it is quite full *winks*.
I experienced a bug with slave Faye’s catsuit since she was wearing it. Somtimes I see it, other times she naked. Usually after a relog or after a teleport I see it again. slave Holly made a picture of us and in it slave Faye was naked…

We spent the whole night at Carnal Intentions, chatting amoung us and following what was going on at the club. It was a nice and relaxed night.

Tuesday, September 28th, I met with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon and we spent our afternoon time together at club Domme a Domme. We had slave Zephany with us for some time, but Zeph kept on crashing, hence it didn’t make much sense. Finally I rezzed a human chair and Zeph could serve as Mistress Jenny’s chair. slave Faye also came inworld, shortly before Mistress and I had to leave and I summoned her to us. Mistress Jenny’s particular toy also joined us at club Domme a Domme as a light green fiction beeing – funny. Time went by way too quickly as always.

September 28th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Zephaney and slave Faye at club Domme a Domme

Tuesday night I met with pet at home first. She confessed having violated a rule and we did talk about it as well as about her desires and feelings. Of course I also had to punish the violation, but I kept it with just a nice spanking (pet might have even enjoyed that).
Flo and Angelique came inworld later and as Mistress Jenny wasn’t inworld yet we played two rounds of greedy, pet and Faye, who came inworld as well, watched the game.
We went to Carnal Intentions again and filled the club. Elena (Elenaslv Serenity) was at Carnal Intentions too, slave Holly came inworld. Soon I really had my hands full (!). And Faye’s catsuit bug was also working again (not showing in my viewer)*winks*.

September 28th: Diomita at home and at Carnal Intentions with Angelique, Flo, pet, slave Holly, slave Elena and slave Faye

Later at night Mistress Jenny joined us. I decided to change Faye’s outfit. She got the NGW Venus corset and is now fully encased in latex – and this time I saw her catsuit. We would see if that it stays showing in my viewer now.

Art in Second Live 2021 (97) Aquarelle by Sophie de Saint Phalle at ][Octopussy][ goes Cuba

I got an invitation by Sophie de Saint Phalle (perpetua1010) to see her latest exhibtion showing aquarelle paintings of her. The exhibtion takes place at “][Octopussy][ goes Cuba“, a sim that I visited back in 2019 (read here).

Sophie’s watercolour pictures are showcased at the beach and on your way up to the marketplace, just follow the signs “Exhibition”. Most of the pantings are presented on esels, some are hanging on the rocks. The exhibition consists of around 20 paintings, ranging from erotic studies of the female body, abstract compositions, to paintings showing small towns. Some of them are quite colourful, others kept in just one colour.

Sophie de Saint Phalle (perpetua1010) is a Austrian RL painter and book author. She mainly paints nude from models and abstract art. She loves to experiment with different kinds of paint and lithography. Her favourite materials are sand, plaster, glue, terracotta, stones, bones, ash, charcoal, natural pigments and more.
Sophie has made several book illustrations and was for many years political cartoonist for a well known satire magazine. She lived and worked in the Unites States, Australia, Rome and Monaco.

Saturday, September 25th, I went visiting an art installation in the later morning. slave Holly came inworld and I returned home after I had finished my visit. I caught up with her, teased her a bit and had fun making her horny. Then I had to leave to tend to my RL.

September 25th: Diomita and slave Holly at home

I returned inworld in the afternoon and this time pet (Newlifeloading) and slave Holly were inworld. I spend tie with them at club Domme a Domme and at Psi’s realm. At club Domme a Domme we even had some main chat (rare!).

I logged off to take advantage of the nice weather in RL and returned before dinner for half an hour. I met Angelique, Faye and slave Holly …

My night began quiet. I went to Puerto Esclava and summoned pet to me when she came inworld. I had time to tease her and there wa also some main chat going on. I summoned slave Holly to me as well, when she came inworld. Both slaves did decorate me well. When Flo amd Angelique came inworld, I returned home with the slaves. I had to pee anyway. So I first used my toiled (slave Holly). Our pet made a nice darkened picture of me using slave Holly.
slave Alessi was in the house, she had cleaned, good slave girl. We gathered all at the games table where Flo was playing. Then we all went to Carnal Intentions for the rest of the night.

I had a quite chatty night talking with everyone. Later Jenny and Faye joined us for a while. I was an all family day.

Sunday, September 26th, I went simploring after lunch. I visited a lovely Autumn sim. Just the right thing to do on a Sunday afternoon. When I had finished my visit I went to Puerto Esclava and summoned pet to me. We talked for a while until pet had to leave to her RL – and I tended to my RL again as well.

At night I ran late. slave Holly came inworld just seconds after me. She’s still staying at our skybox and we caught up with her news there. I had to pee, so I quickly used my toilet (slave Holly) before we went down to meet with pet and slave Faye. I decided to take the three slaves to Psi’s realm and then to tie them up a bit – spontaneously. And while I was busy with the locks and chains, Jenny came inworld and joined us at Psi’s realm. Jenny and I caught up with our news quickly, we had fun teasing the slaves for a bit and taking a few pictures. But all were tired that Sunday night, hence we returned home qutie early and called it a night.

Art in Second Life 2021 (96) My Reflection by Hikaru Enimo-Lefevre

Monday, September 27th, a new exhibition was opened at Nitroglobus Roof Gallery featuring the art of Hikaru Enimo-Lefevre (Hikaru Enimo). The exhibtion is named “My Reflection” and consists of 13 pictures.

“The exhibition ‘My Reflection‘ is in Hikaru’s own words the habit of deliberately paying attention to once own thoughts, emotions, decisions, and behaviors. Periodically it reflected back on an event and how it was handled, in hopes that to learn something from it and make better decisions in the future.” (taken from the accompanying notecard)

Hikaru’s pictures are taken in Second Life and processed to highlight effects and details. In all of the a male avatar is in the center. A few are explicitly erotic, which is rare for male avatars in Second Life. Hikaru obviously like his dog as it appears in several of the pictures. Nonetheless all pictures are very different, none seem to be part of a series. And as always, the mirroring effect of the floor adds a lot to the presentation of the art.

I’ve been quite some time in Second life and I report about art and galleries also for quite some time. But I admit I had never heard about Hikaru Enimo-Lefevre before.
Hikaru is almost 11 years in Second Life, he is a model, a photographer, a stylist, a manager, a blogger and more. He’s really very active in Second Life – obviously just living and working in another part of Second Life than me. The list of his activies is long:

Thursday, September 23rd, I was inworld after lunch and roamed aroud for half an hour. slave Faye, who I had selft at Psi’s realm, came inworld and I went visiting her. I uploaded the 2nd part of Marine’s film to her RemVision and went off again to tend to my RL.
In the later afternoon I met with Jenny at Puerto Esclava. We spent an hour together there and caught up with our mutual news, chatted about other guests, just enjoyed ourselves. Faye showed up again, she had finished watching part 2. Jenny and I went seeing her before I had to log out.

September 23rd: Diomita at Psi’s realm with slave Faye / Jenny and Diomita at Puerto Esclava

When I returned at night, Flo and Angelique were present. They had went shopping together and looked great. Flo had a new white outfit with a body, Angelique was wearing a black catsuit. Well, done! I asked Flo to add her vixen cuffs and I changed them into a plastic look. pet (Newlifeloading) joined us. We had just began a skipee when Jenny came inworld and soon after also slave Holly came online. We, Jenny, Angelique, Flo, slave Holly and I played a skipee. I used the time playing to catch up with Jenny and the others.

After our game we went to Psi’s realm. I expected slave Faye to show up. I could sense that Jenny was in a quite dominant mood. After Flo and pet had left for bed, we went to Carnal Intentions.

Jenny was up to provide her fix to me and she had plans with slave Holly. We returned home and said good night to Angelique. Right at this moment slave Faye came inworld. I returned to Psi’s realm and uploaded part 3 for her, then I joined Jenny and slave Holly at our skybox. Although I was still wearing my partnering collar, Jenny had clear ideas what she wanted. She ordered me to strip and made slave Holly lick me, first at the uneven bars, then in her cage…phewwww. But not enough, slave Holly stayed in her cage and I had to lick Mistress Jenny and got my fix. slave Holly could watch my submission to my Mistress wife and how she ensures that I know my place. I assumed that my time wearing the partnering collar will come to an end soon.

I had a varied Friday, September 24th. I went visiting two galleries in the later morning and wrote my blog entries about them. I roamed around, had a short roleplay at home with a guest at our homesim, not much, jut a bit of teasing. But it was fun. Angelique was there too and we got to talk a little bit.
I also prepared my outfit for our Friday night party. Jenny had made a proposal, she’s quite creative *winks*.
“Another week is over and that means – Friday! Let’s celebrate the upcoming weekend. We are hoping to have a purrfect night so either wear your ears and tails or let your inner tiger out for the night or wear your finest catsuit or…. come as you are. DJ Virgo is spinning the tunes.”

I met with Angelique, Flo, pet and slave Holly at night and we played a greedy together until our party began. We had fun dancing and chatting again of course. Faye showed up too and I picked her up up from Psi’s realm. And Jenny came inworld and joined us for half an hour. She had left for a family weekend that Friday.

Artin Second Life 2021 (95) JudiLynn Gallery at Virtual Chelsea Hotel

During my last visit to La Maison d’Aneli seeing the second part of the Summer 21 exhibtion (read here), I came across the artist JudiLynn India. Judy has her own JudiLynn Gallery at Virtual Chelsea Hotel. I visited it on Wednesday, September 22nd.

JudiLynn Gallery at Virtual Chelsea (1) – outside, 1st floor, stamp collection

The JudiLynn Gallery extends over three stories basement, 1st and 2nd floor. On the 1st floor, Judi presents a stamp collection she has created in 2019 in oil pastel, ink and digital textures. These are colourful abstract paintings, that shine at some spots and leave room to see in them different things depending on your mood.
Also on the 1st floor is a series of 6 paintings in black and white from 2019, abstract, a bit reminding of the structure of marble. The series is called “unique”, expressing that ach of them is unique and has a pattern you’d find nowhere else. Finally right by the stairs leading to the basement are two paintings from 2018, both made of several layers. On a frist glance they look just abstract, on a second glance you notice more and more the other layers and being to see different things.

The 2nd floor is dedicated to JudiLynns art from 2012. Even more colourful abstract paintings showing different, irregular patterns. These paintings convince with their colourfulness, some did remind me of eruptions of paint. For sure any of these could decorate and dominate a living room.

The basement is reserved for JudiLynn’s newer artwork. Some of it was shown at La Maison d’Aneli (read here). Judi categorized them into harmony, equilibrium, balance and symmetry. Again her style is recognizable immediately by the use of colour and abstract patterns, partly mirrored vertically or horizontally. But behind or through the abstract paintings the spectator can recognize something else, be it a face, a person, a building or whatever.

Judi Lynn studied art throughout school, Commercial Art in high school and Graphic Design at Tyler School of Art/Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. After the turn of the century, she decided to focus her creativity on acrylic and digital painting. Known in Second Life since 2009 as JudiLynn India and RL as Judi Lynn, her mission is to share her vision and message as an artist with the global community: “My work embodies my spirit and personality. My goal is to allow you to experience the image with your own mind’s eye. My work is entirely intuitive. I get lost in the layering of texture and color. Occasionally, I will include figurative work if my spirit is so presented with the composition. Just as there is order in the chaos of the universe, the energy within me is brought into focus one canvas at a time.” (taken from a text by JudiLynn India)

Diary 2021 (127) September 21st/22nd Side at side with Jenny

Tuesday, Sepetmber 21st, I spent an hour inworld in the morning at club Domme a Domme. I had a nice chat and enjoyed. I returned in the afternoon and went to Puerto Esclava where Jenny joined me. We stayed there for more than an hour, caught up with our mutual news, had a few chats and we might have found some trouble for the two of us. I doubt it though, but if you don’t try and risk something, then you can’t find it for sure.

After Jenny had left to tend to her RL, I stayed inworld for a bit to change. And just when I wanted to log off, slave Faye and pet (Newlifeloading) came inworld. I returned home and bought another RemVision on my way home. It took a while to set it up, but when I left for dinner, slave Faye was watching her first slideshow.

My night began relaxed. Flo, Angelique and pet were present and I began a skipee with Angelique and Flo. Angelique had a power loss and left all of a sudden, but Jenny came inworld and could take her place. Angelique must have rigged it well as Jenny won easily. We went to Carnal Intentions where Elena (Elenaslv Serenity) joined us.

I had a quite busy night, trying to modify Flo’s cuffs and trying to talk with everyone. Angelique returned inworld and joined us as well as slave Faye.

Flo left, slave Holly came inworld and joined us. Carnal Intentions was quite empty that night, but our group filled it easily. I talked with slave pet about her wardrobe, caught up with slave Holly and talked a bit with Angelique. And we also used main chat. Faye watched the slideshow and was done with it when we left the club shortly before midnight. We had a real family night.

Wednesday, Sept 22nd, was a quiet day in Second Life for me. Mistress was offline during the day and I went visiting a gallery in the later morning. i also logged in several times and roamed a bit. I had a few chats. pet (Newlifeloading) was present quite a lot but had her assignment to work on her wardrobe. She made nice progresses.

At night we had another family day – no skipee this time. We gathered at the house: Jenny, Angelique, pet, slave Faye and I. We decided to go to Psi’s realm where slave Holly joined us soon after we arrived. I tied up Faye suspended and gave her the first part of Marine’s film to watch. Pet had to leave early. And when slave Faye left to tend to her RL I didn’t release her, she will stay at Psi’s realm for a bit.

Before we went off to bed, we – Jenny, Angelique, slave Holly and I, went to Carnal Intentions for a bit. We really had some main chat there, that’s rare! And that’s it about a quiet but nice day time in Second Life.
