Simploring 2022 (21) A Christmas Wish 2022

The Christmas season 2022 in Second Life is very different for me. It is the first season I spend without my beloved wife Jenny, who passed away unexpectedly in Summer. I try to keep the rituals and to make the most of it.

One thing, Jenny and I did every year was visiting the Calas Galadhon holiday installation. We always did the sleigh tour and the ballon tour, cuddling together, listening to Christmas music, being together and enjoying. I visited this year’s holiday installation on Sunday, December 18th, and it is beautiful, packed with activities, just wonderful. My impression is that it become more and more perfect every year.

Calas Galadhon “A Christmas Wish 2022”

I’m very happy that Tymus Tenk and Truck Meredith realized it once again. It is the 14th (!) season that they gift this installation to us. Thank you Ty and Truck! The installation is called “A Christmas Wish 2022“. At the landing you get a notecard with all landmarks. The Calas Blog will keep you up to date with al the activities and events! https://calasgaladhon.com/

This time I will not report in detail, I have presented the Calas Galadhon installations many times.
Visit yourself and enjoy this Winter and Christmas Wonderland.

Simploring 2021 (35) Jenny and Diomita exploring Winter sims in Second Life

Wednesday, December 8th, Jenny and I wanted to take a picture for our yearly Christmas card. We changed into Christmas outfits and started our tour at Crisp Kringle – Frogmore Christmas Region, where we had been the day before already. I had found the landmark following Inara Pey’s blogpost blogpost “Frogmore’s Swedish Winter Cripsness in Second Life“.

We looked for spots to sit and cuddle and we found some really nice motifs.

The next sim we visited is one, that we visit every year. It has become a tradition for many people to visit Calas Galadhon’s Christmas isntallation. I’m very happy that Tymus Tenk and Truck Meredith realized it once again. This year it is called “A Christmas wish“. And of course Inara has blogged about it: “A Calas Christmas wish for 2021 in Second Life“.

Jenny and I made the balloon tour and I took quite some pictures….

Finally we sat down overlooking the big ice skating area in front of the main building – we enjoyed!

The last sim we visited was Luane’s World, also featured in Inara Pey’ blog: “Luane’s Winter world in Second Life“. We looked around, sat down for a picture and visited the funny floating ice sheet with the ice bears. Diary 2020 (173) December 13th/14th In the run up to Christmas (IV)

Sunday, December 13th, I met Mistress Jenny in the later morning for a short whilee. We went to Heavy Bondage Club where Mistress had me kneeling at her feet. We both enjoyed, Mistress enjoyed her control and I enjoyed my submission to her.
Mistress had to leave again. I roamed around a bit and then logged off myself.

In the afternoon we went to club Domme a Domme and watched a short kidnap roleplay. I knew the kidnapper from a shart own experience many years ago but hadn’t seen her every since. When Flo and Angelique came online we went home and had a game of skipee with them. I had fun teasing Angelique with her behavior the night before. She couldn’t remember well anymore and hence I could make it worse that it was *grins*.

December 13th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club / a funny avatar, could be a comic character / Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme

Unfortunately Mistress had to leave before the game was over. We finished, but as we had played as teams Flo had no chance against Angelique and me, but she fought well and brave. After the game I had a bit of time left and I followed a link in the profile of the above mentioned kidnapper, let us call her E. I found E’s house and had a look around – and then she showed up. Without any further ado she shot me with her tranquilizer gun, stripped me, cuffed me and took control – I had an intense roleplay with her, quite exciting, I admit and I ended in one of E’s prison cells. I was lucky, that I could send out a note to Mistress so that she knew that I’m alive.

At night E continued her play with me and spanked me hard, she made me confess what I did do wrong even if I didn’t do anything wrong. It was a nightmare (a good one *winks*). And finally she called Mistress Jenny to pick me up. Mistress and E seemed to become best friends and Mistress did even order me to stay in contact with E and to obey to her *sighs*

December 13th: Diomita in trouble and getting picked up from E by Mistress Jenny / Mistress Jenny and Diomita with Flo

We returned home and had a skipee with Flo. That was relaxing for me and I could talk with Mistress about what happened to poor me. After the game we went to Carnal intentions with Flo and stayed there also after Flo had left. What a Sunday!

Monday, December 14th, was another great varied day in SL. I met with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon and we went to Puerto Esclava to catch up with our mutual news. We moved on to club Domme a Domme and Mistress had me kneel at her side with an armbinder bag. I did enjoy her presence. We read profiles and that afternoon there were some funny new profiles for us to read and we had fun. Finally Mistress took me to our skybox and I was allowed to get my fix, that I needed already again.

December 14th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Puerto Esclava, at club Domme a Domme and at home

At night we met with Angelique and Flo at home. Mistress and I had changed into the same outfit, a Christmas outfit that we got as a group gift. We had a reason for wearing it. As every year we wanted to visit Calas Galadhon’s Christmas installation. In 2020 it was called “A Christmas Dream” (read also here). For visiting we had to reduce our script load. We were about to leave home, when slave Melissa came inworld. Taking off her restraints and restrictions would have been … work. A slave’s destiny is that sometimes they have to wait for their owner – restricted of course. I took slave Melissa to Psi’s realm and then Mistress, Angelique, Flo and I had our tradition Calas Galadhon Christmas trip.
Once again Ty Tenk and Truck Meredith created a lovely Christmas installation. We enjoyed a tour with the sleigh first and later with a ballon. Just beautiful!!

Angeliuqe had to leave just before the balloon tour ended. Mistress, Flo and I went to Psi’s realm where we picked up slave Melissa. We stayed a bit and I adjusted slave Melissa’s view. I like playing with the vision, it is a very powerful tool, just perfect to exercise full control. We later moved on to Carnal Intentions and stayed there until Flo and slave Melissa had to leave. Mistress and I ended the day where we began it, at Puerto Esclava.

Simploring 2020 (84) Calas Galadhon’s – A Christmas Dream

Yesterday, Monday December 14th, I visited Calas Galadhon’s – A Christmas Dream together with Mistress Jenny, Angelique and Flo (more about that in an upcoming diary post). The visit to Calas Galadhon’s Christmas sim has become a regular part of our run-up to Christmas and we always enjoy it. And in my personal opinion, Tymus Tenk and Truck Meredith did a great job again.  Although the Christmas installation spreads over “only” one region this year, there’s all we are used to enjoy, the sleigh tour, the ballon ride, the ice rink and the big Christmas pavilion.

Calas Galadhon’s – A Christmas Dream (1)

Please remember to take off not necessary scripts from your avatar, the script limit for entering is 100 but everything less helps even more to enhance the experience of us all. There’s nothing to add but some pictures – Enjoy your visit!

Simploring 2019 (122) A Calas Christmas

There are places I visit regularly in particular during the season. On Sunday, December 8th, I visited the yearly Christmas installation created by Ty Tenk (Tymus Tenk) and Truck Meredith and the Calas team. This year it is called “A Calas Christmas“.

A Calas Christmas – at the Landing sky platform and in the labyrinth

I read Inara Pey’s post “A Calas Christmas for 2019 in Second Life” before I went seeing it myself. For a detailled description I refer to her post. The landing at A Calas Christmas is on a sky platfrom. I got a list of landmarks there, that is very helpful for getting around. Make sure that your avatar doesn’t wear too many scripts, the limit is 100 scripts and as many people want to enjoy the winterly Christmas installation you are help keeping the lag bearable with detaching unnecessary HUD’s. I also got a list of events that will take place at A Calas Christmas.
From the skyplatform you enter a labyrinth that offers a lot of lights, decorations, a chamber full of Christmas stuff and decorations (I think that is what Inara called the “Santa’s grotto”). I had fun exploring the labyrinth. There is an exit of the labyrinth, a portal that leads you to the sim on the ground, but I got lost in the labyrinth *winks* and didn’t find it. Instead I used the landmarks, that I got, to travel to the famous sleigh tour.

A Calas Christmas – first impressions of the sleigh tour

The sleigh tour can be made using a sleigh for 2 people or 4 people. I just tried it for a few minutes and got already great views. The sim is just amazing! I will for sure return with Mistress Jenny and make the full tour with her. That became already a tadition for us.

Like last year there’re several possibilities for exploring: the sleigh tour, a balloon tour and a rendeer tour. You can of course explore on foot or you rezz a horse and ride – that is what I did.

Exploring A Calas Christmas (1)

As every year there’s a large Christmas pavillion and a large ice skating area. You can dance, you can sit and cuddle, and most importantly you can enjoy. A Calas Christmas is once again a showcase for what is possible in Second Life!

Exploring A Calas Christmas (2)

That’s it for the moment. I wanted to write a short teaser so that A Calas Christmas gets the attention it deserves. Thank you so much Ty Tenk (Tymus Tenk) and Truck Meredith and who ever was also involved to make this yearly event available to all of us. I will for sure visit again and see more of it before this year ends.

Simploring 2017 (97) Dec 4th: Calas Galadhon’s Home for Christmas

Monday, December 4th, Mistress Jenny and I visited Calas Galadhon’s Christmas installion of 2017, which is called Home for Christmas. Although it is quite similar to the installations of the previous years, Home for Christmas is once again a highlight of my Second Life calendar. Ty Tenk and Truck Meredith succeeded in creating a lovely winterly Christams world full of all the accessoires and elements that most of us have in mind when thinking of Christmas.
CALAS GALADHON’S 2017 Christmas build. Two sims of winter splendor as only ‘CALAS’ can bring you in Second Life. Our gift to you. Ty Tenk & Truck Meredith, Calas Galadhon Park sims” is the landmarks description and it is really a lovely gift.

Calas Galadhon’s Home for Christmas – Overview

Right next to the landing point of Home for Christmas you’ll find the start of the sleigh tours. There’re sleighs for up to 4 persons and slieghs for up to 2 persons available. Mistress Jenny and I took the couple sleigh and made the full tour. It was very enjoyable again. There’s a lot to discover along the ride and the winter landscape is just perfect! And of ourse I took plenty of pictures. When we were dropped of the sleigh, we got this nice message from Ty and Truck: “Calas Cuddle Sleigh: We hope you enjoyed the sleigh ride this year. Our wish is that we have brought to your heart a bit of the warmth, peace and joy that we at Calas Galadhon Park strive to express at this special time of year! Merry Christmas!

Calas Galadhon’s Home for Christmas – Impressions from our sleigh tour

While we were enjoying our tour, slave Flo cam inworld and I picked her up at home after our sleigh tour. Together Mistress Jenny, slave FLo and I made the tour with the balloon. You get quite different view on Home for Christmas from the balloon. At the end of the tour the balloon rises up into the sky and if you do nothing, like we did, you’ll get ecjected at a height of 4000 meters. Luckily Mistress Jenny and I had our parachutes with us and we landed safe and sound. slave Flo was lucky too as she landed in a bit pile of snow.

Calas Galadhon’s Home for Christmas – Impressions from our balloon tour

Last but not least we also tried out the rendeer tour. One rendeer can only transport 2 people, I rode with slave Flo and Mistress Jenny took a rendeer for herself.

Calas Galadhon’s Home for Christmas – Impressions from our rendeer tour

The center of Home for Christmas is the Christmas pavillion with the large ice scating area and the big Christmas tree in front of it. Here you can sit and snuggle and watch or you can enjoy ice scating on a really large area.

Calas Galadhon’s Home for Christmas – More impressions

I also read in Inara Pey’s blog post “Home for Christmas at Calas, 2017” that you can just ride a rendeer or a horse that you can steer yourself for exploring and discovering more of this Christmas installion. Hence I have still something to do before 2017 ends. Thank you Ty Tenk and Truck Meredith for this year’s Christmas fun! You do a great job!

Simploring 2017 (79) Dark Moon, Calas Halloween 2017

Inara Pey posted recently about Dark Moon, Calas Halloween 2017: “A Dark Moon rises for Halloween in Second Life
“Every year, Ty Tenk (tymus tenk) and Truck Meredith produce a stunning immersive environment in Second Life to celebrate Halloween and to help support their Calas Galadhon regions. In 2017, they opted for a sci-fi design with the title Dark Moon; it carries a degree of emphasis on a certain film franchise ideal for  Halloween, richly re-imagined and with little twists of humour along the way“… read more here

This year’s Halloween build Dark Moon has four levels: the Cargo Ship “CS UTOPIA”, the moon’s surface, the cavern and the “MOTHERSHIP”

All levels are fun – if you’re not scared by dead bodies, blood, whinning creatures, aliens and other sort of Halloween fun. At the entrance you can grab a notecard with a short decription and landmarks if you get lost. I explored the cargo ship, made the shuttle tour, went all the way down in the cavern and made my way to the “MOHTERSHIP”. I had a very enjoyable hour! Thank you Ty Tenk (tymus tenk) and Truck Meredith!

October 2nd – Dark Moon, Calas Halloween 2017: Level One – Cargo Ship “CS UTOPIA”

Level One: The Cargo Ship “CS UTOPIA”. The ship is large so you’ll want to explore all areas of the ship. A ‘PORTAL’ to the next level is also found here.

October 2nd – Dark Moon, Calas Halloween 2017: Level Two – The moon’s surface

Level Two: The moon’s surface. Both the DARK MOON SHUTTLE TOUR & the CAVERN ENTRANCE can be found there. Arrows will help point the way. There is no Portal at this level, but the way to the next level is clear.

October 2nd – Dark Moon, Calas Halloween 2017: Level Three – The Cavern & Egg Room

Level Three: ‘THE CAVERN & EGG ROOM’ the cavern is a very large one and has several levels of its own. You will want to take your time in the cavern as you travel down to its floor.

October 2nd – Dark Moon, Calas Halloween 2017: Level Four – The “MOTHERSHIP”

Level Four is the ”MOTHERSHIP” which is the live music venue for October performances. While there grab a copy of the October calendar of events. All events will be costume with an alien/sci fi theme .. So have fun shopping 🙂

Dark Moon, Calas Halloween 2017, will stay available until October 31st. I will revisit with Mistress Jenny and some of the family.

Calas Galadhon’s 2016 Holiday Sim

It has become a tradition to visit Calas Galadhon’s holiday sim and I had this on my things to do list for a while but I couldn’t go there as my script weight was too high and I didn’t want to ask Mistress to remove them. Hence the visit had to wait until Christmas eve, when Mistress Jenny and I met online. Kitty has visited a few hours before and has send this picture from her visit as a teaser to us.

When I came online December 24th in the afternoon, Mistress Jenny wasn’t yet online so I went ahead and pre-explored. The entrance to Calas Galadhon’s holiday sim is already spectacular. You arrive on a large icy plateau that you have to cross to enter a christmas maze that offers a lot of amazing light effects, presents to grab and fun just walking through it. At the end of the maze you reach the portal that leads to the holiday sim.20161224-calas-galadhons-2016-holiday-sim_018 Mistess Jenny and I enjoyed the sleigh tour, we cuddled, we talked, and relaxed looking around into this winter wonderland. And we also remembered all the tours we had in the years before (it is already the 8th (!) holiday installation). Of course there is a lot more to do at the holiday sim. There are small white ornaments in the snow, that indicate an interactive pose close by which you can use for photography. Or you can do ice skating or take a ballon ride, our just visit the Christmas pavillion.20161224-calas-galadhons-2016-holiday-sim_019

At the end of our sleigh tour we got this: “Calas Cuddle Sleigh: We hope you enjoyed the sleigh ride this year.  Our wish is that we have brought to your heart a bit of the warmth, peace and joy that we at Calas Galadhon Park strive to express at this special time of year!  Merry Christmas!  Ty & Truck
Thank you Ty Tenk (tymus.tenk) and Truck Meredith for this present to all of us!
