Art in Second Life 2021 (53) Anja’s Surrealism by Anja Neobookie

Dido Haas, owner and curator of the Nitroglobus Roof Gallery invited me to see the June exhibition: “Anja’s Surrealism” by Anja Neobookie.

I had seen Anja Neobookie (Neobookie)’s art at La Masion d’Aneli in January 2021 the first time (read here). And I liked it! For the exhibition there Anja wrote: “I’m a Dutchie who likes to create, discover and explore the creativity inworld. I discovered the magic of making photographs and invite you, by my art, to join me on my trip. My exhibit is an attempt to create the story of myself as I walk Second Life and experience the world and dreams the surround us all.“

But what you see of her at the Nitroglobus Roof Gallery is very different. At least I couldn’t recognize that it is the work of the same artist. It’s Anja’s surreal world, or “Anja’s Surrealism”.

The exhibition consists of 18 pictures, which are not connected in anyway. Each picture stands alone, tells an own story (or not). In the accompanying notecard Anja wrote:
“Do not try to understand all of the images shown, but just let them affect you. Even after two rounds of wandering, are you able to discover a pattern? Is there a common theme or common thread? Crazy, crazier, craziest seems to be the only connection and thing in common in this colorful collection of ‘Anja’s Surrealism’.
And I hope it gets to you. Whether it is the quantity, the colors, the contrasts – I don’t know. But the longer you walk between them, the closer they get. And a story will develop in your brain that only the viewer can and will understand.

Like myself Anja is an explorer. She’s amazed and surprised by the beauty of the sims, islands, buildings, objects, nature and landscapes in Second Life, she’s excited about the creativity of the people that make Second Life. Her pictures are not necessarily connected to Second Life. There are elements that you might have seen in Second Life before before but there’re put together in a different way. These objects might initiate a memory of what you experienced in Second Life or in Real Life, might create an idea, a thought, a snippet of a picture. That’s all in the eyes of the spectator.

Anja’s pictures are colourful, focused on a few details. And of course they are personal: “My exhibition is an attempt to create the story of myself as I walk through Second Life and experience the world and dreams which surround us all. My thoughts turned into reflections and surrealism!“

Nitroglobus Roof Gallery is owned and curated by Dido Haas. It is a great exhibtion space, the mirroring effect of the floor adds a lot to the experience of a visit and higlights the art in a particular way.

Diary 2021 (70) May 27th/28th Bondage night at Lochme

I was inworld quite a lot on Thursday, May 27th, but quite some time inactive. I went online in the morning, roamed around at bit, then parked myself at club DeLust, later at Heavy Bondage Club and did some chores in RL. I can tell, nothing happened. Most propbably the others were absent as well. I logged off over lunch and back in in the earlier afternoon, but this time I got quite some IMs and I logged off as I wanted to write for the blog and I needed to focus. I returned in the later afternoon. slave Holly was playing skipee with Flo and I said hello to them. I told them to play and I went to club Domme a Domme. There I met a friend who rediscovered her kink side …. wow (and no, I won’t share who it is *winks*). we had a nice chat. slave Holly joined me after she had finished her game and Flo had left. I spent 1 1/2 hour at the club with slave Holly, mostly just chatting with slave Holly and with a few others. Faye (Boy Serenity( came also by.

Anything else? Oh yes … I saw a nice outfit in the morning when I roamed and stood and modeled – and I spoiled myself with it.

We had a busy night. First just Flo was around and Mistress Jenny and I went seeing her. Than Ann (TransAnn) joined us. She was wearing a new restrictive outfit with hood, neck corset, corset armbinder and ballet boots. We talked about it and I made notes to tie up Flo in it soon. Annie seemed to be up to get tied up by me. After testing the menus for a bit, I restricted her.
Angelique had joined us and also slave Holly. We, Mistress Jenny, Angelique, Flo, slave Holly and I had a skipee while Annie knelt at my side mumbling things I didn’t understand. The game went by quickly, as Mistress Jenny had painted a set of jokers to use in the game *winks*. And by the end of our game, Ebony joined us as well.

After a while Mistress Jenny decided to go to Lochme to display Annie, Flo and slave Holly. That was quite some work for me with the lag there and I had to focus on it. When I was down, I wanted to take some nice pictures of us all, but Angelique left just when I ask to group for a picture – bad luck. Ebony fought with lag and could place herself next us….. Well, with many many people it is sometimes just like this. I did at least get a few pictures and unlocking and unleashing went a bit quicker. Noentheless I was exhausted. Flo had already left for bed. Mistress Jenny and I went home with slave Holly, Ebony and Annie and called it a night.

Friday, May 28th, Mistress was once again busy in her RL during the day. I went online early in the afternoon but none of the family and friends were present. And I was not in the mood for simploring or visiting a gallery. Instead I roamed and idled a lot doing other things in RL. I had just one nice entcounter with an interesting domme, we just had a nice chat.

At night we had our regular party again. Mistress Jenny and I had fixed a theme before we had left the night before: “Its Friday again and this time it seems as if we had succeeded to end Winter finally. Wear something in Black and Pink .. or come as you are. DJ Virgo is spinning the tunes”

Art in Second Life 2021 (52) Golden by Paola Mills

I was invited to see the latest exhibition at Itakos Art Gallery. The exhibition is named “Golden” and is shown in the BLACK Pavillion. “Golden” is an exhibtion of around 30 pictures by Paola Mills. It extends over 2 floors.

I came across Paola Mills just lately again when I visited the GenovArt Glass Gallery (read here).
Paola Mills joined Second Life in 2007. For her it became a niche of creativity.
Paola writes about her work:
“I’m not a professional photographer in RL, but I do like to make pictures when I see something I like, for instance a person or a situation. That’s why I always carry a small camera with me in my bag.
Second Life has allowed me to develop, without the need for powerful means, my emotionalism: i.e. catch the moment of a specific feeling into simple shots; stills that stop time for a few seconds.“

“Unlike many artists in the Metaverse my photos are handicraft, as I use minimum graphic editing software. This is not by choice but by inability to use them. Had I more time RL, I could learn, but unfortunately I don’t.
I look upon myself as an end user of Second Life, taking advantage of the ability of creators who know how to give reality to the bodies of the avatars and those who know how to give motion by the use of poses. I merged these two aspects, a study of body language of a human body.
I hope that my photographs can be a stimulus of irony, emotions and feelings and that these photographs go beyond a Simple observation of the photograph itself.“

I don’t know why Paola choose the “Golden” for her exhibition at Itakos Art Gallery. There’re golden 3D art objects on the ground floor of the exhibtion, that might have inspired the name. I like the subtitle “A journey into the art of a dreamer” way more as it fits to the showcased pictures. On the ground floor you see pictures that are more related to short dreams, just as when you close your eyes, releax and think of someone or something. I like in particular the 2 pictures showing a female stretched eagled in one pictures with endless fields in the background (I think I know the place where it was taken) and in the other at a beach with a lighthouse as background.

The pictures on the second floor are mostly more fantasy related, as it happens when you dream, some are sci-fi related, some are surreal and some others I can’t categorize, but all of them are intriguing and invite the spectator to immerse deeper into the captured moment or situation.

Diary 2021 (69) May 25th/26th Mistress Jenny’s bum

Tuesday, May 25th, I went on and offline several times during the day. I had one short but nice roleplay starting at Heavy Bondage Club and I went simploring in the afternoon. I met slave Holly shortly and together we gathered a bit more how the locking system of her chastity belt works. Now she only has to hope that I don’t lose the keys. I met with Mistress Jenny in the later afternoon and we went to club Domme a Domme and caught up with our mutual news there. Lily (Lily Bloodrose) met us there and decorated us nicely for a few minutes before we had to leave to tend to our RL.

we had a relaxed night, that started with a skipee with Flo. We went to Psi’s realm where we stayed most of the night. Mistress was wearing her “Black Out” suit, a suit she owns already for a decade and that suits her very well. When slave Holly came inworld I summoned her to us and she served as a chair for Mistress Jenny – and that made quite an impression on her.

After Flo had left we went over to Carnal Intentions for half an hour before we went home and to bed. slave Holly shared the pictures she made at Psi’S realm and at Carnal Intentions… I can tell when and how an addiction starts. But I admit, Mistress Jenny’s butt looks just great in this suit.

Wednesday, May 26th, Mistress had a busy day in RL and was not inworld during the day. I myself had some appointments, but I managed to get inworld in the early afternoon and in the late afternoon. When I was online in the early afternoon I spent some time at Heavy Bondage Club. To my surprise slave Holly came inworld and I summoned her to me. We just talked for a few minutes, then I had to leave again.
In the later afternoon, I met again with slave Holly. And this time I took advantage of her. I exercised smoothering and had a fist breath play with her. I need to practice that more often and to train slave Hooly. Eventually slave Holly was allowed to lick me to a nice orgasm .. then I had to leave again and slave had still to clean the house.

At night Mistress and I caught up with our mutual news while playing skipee with Angelique and Flo. slave Holly came inworld right in time when we had finished. We went to Carnal Intentions and stayed there all night chatting amound us most of the time. As Mistress had had a long day in RL we retreated shortly after Flo had went to bed. Art in Second Life (51) Circus by Cica Ghost

Cica Ghost’s newest installation named “Circus” opened June 8th. As always Cica provided a thought along with her installation in the landmark’s description: “If all else fails join the circus…”
Circus is a very playful installation in the typical Cica style. Humans are small in her world. You see the world from a kid’s perspective. Huge Clowns, huge giraffes, huge carousels, huge tents, huge circus wagons.

“Circus” by Cica Ghost is colourful yet the selected environment is a bit foggy, making it kind of a long forgotten memory or a dream. But the basic intention of Circus is having fun. The big smilies are actually trampolines that make you bounce up into the air – and you could get up quite high!

There are many places to sit inside of tents and inside inside of the ciruc wagons.
There are places to dance. At one of the courts to dance you find a box with a free oversized hat and oversized shoes – it’s fun to dance in them! Cica was around while I visited and we danced. Pure fun.

You can also sit on the large wheel and watch the world turning .. or dance on the duck carousel. You can purchase all of the animals, clowns and other gear at Cica’s store in one of the tents. Circus by Cica Ghost is just fun. Become a child again, see the facinating world of circus and enjoy yourself…. and very soon we all can visit a circus in RL again – hopefully.

I began to search Cica’s cat. Cica almost always hides on of her famous cats somewhere – but not at this installation. No surprise that mice feel safe at the circus – and they are really small! Can you find them?

Simploring 2021 (23) 80 Days – The Bayou

On Tuesday, May 18th, I read Inara Pey’s blogpost “A trip to the Bayou in Second Life” and decided spontaneously to visit “80 Days – The Bayou“, furtheron also just “The Bayou“, right away.

The Bayou is a moderate homestead, owned and designed by Camila Runo. The landmark description reads as follows: “Louisiana in the Deep South, home to the Jazz and the Blues. Music fills the air wherever you go. – French Quarter, Cayun, swamp, alligators, Voodoo, zoo, animals, beach, romance, dancing, summer, BBQ, photogenic, scenic“

The landing point is right next to an old paddle steamer, one of the attractions of the sim. Upon landing your can grab a folder with a lot of information, that I used in this blogpost:
“The old paddle steamer “Dixie Belle” brought you to Louisiana in the Deep South of the USA. The dock where you debarked is situated on the banks of the Mississippi. From there you have a nice view to a near town as well as to the coastal marsh and the swamp the dock is connected with by a long wooden bridge.“

The paddle steamer offers some activities. First of all it is a great location and background motif for photographers, but you can also go onboard and play Black Jacker or Poker. I for my part focused on taking pictures though.

“Where to go first? To the left to visit the town or to the right to see the swamp? No matter where you go first, you will be surrounded either by the sounds of nature or by typical Louisiana tunes (turn your speakers on).”
I decided to got exploring the town first.

“The town is built in the style of the French Quarter in New Orleans, including a cemetery, a Jazz club, a restaurant, a barber/tattoo shop and some residential buildings in the typical French Quarter look.”
The town looks also very nice in the evening or at night as the houses are well illuminated by lights and race lights.

I left the town and visited the Alligator farm. “Just have an eye on your limbs. Though we feed the gators well, they always up for a little snack.” I had a little break at a bbq close to the river and went back to the paddle steamer to visit the swamp.

A wooden walkway leads into the swamp. Admist the swamp you will find a house, a Voodoo shack. The swamp is another great environment for taking pictures. Of course you can also see some alligators, hence you have to stay careful. If you walk beyond the Voodoo shack you will find a boat rezzer and I took a boat for my further simploring.

There is also a second boat rezzer on the banks of the Mississippi. Exploring by boat is also fun and offers new views. You can also reach another island with the boat (more swamp and mangroves). The other smaller islands are off sim objects and can’t be reached, but you can make a boat trip around the whole sim. Watch out for animals, another great motif.

And why is the sim called “80 Days – The Bayou“? Camila Runo explains it in one of the information notecards: “The term is referring to Jules Verne’s book “Around the world in 80 days”. As I understand my projects as stops on my virtual voyage around the world (e.g. Jambo / Africa and Nour / Arabia last year, Vargsången / Scandinavia this year), I found the name appropriate for the new group I created. This group will also comprise each future project of mine.“

Thank you Camila for creating The Bayou and for sharing it publicly. I enjoyed my visit a lot, it was like a short vacation.

Diary 2021 (68) May 23rd/24th – slave Holly’s butt plug

Sunday, May 23rd, I had a relaxed day. I went visiting a gallery in the early afternon and when I was finished Mistress Jenny came inworld. To my surprise she offered me to lick her before we even caught up with our mutual news. Of course I didn’t reject this offer to gat my fix!
That was a great and exciting start into our 90 minutes together that afternoon. We went to club Domme a Domme to stand and model and to catch up. Angelique joined us there. She was dressed to kill! Ravishing! I asked Mistress to kneel between her and Angelique and Mistress not just granted it, she even handed my leash to Angelique. Unfortunately Angelique logged off soon after (or crashed), but I got a nice picture of us. Time flies when you have fun and Mistress had to leave soon after … and it was time for me as well to tend to my RL for a bit.

I was early at night and roamed a bit over our usual places and clubs, then I decided to visit another place of the BDSM hunt. I had fun exploring Strictly Bound and I tried out one of the many devices – and no I was not in trouble and could free myself.
I returned home and began a skipee with Angelique and Flo. We hadn’t played long when Mistress Jenny came inworld, hence we stopped playing and started a new game as teams. Flo and I had really bad cards, the game was no fun for us.
Slave Holly had cleaned the house in the meanwhile and we headed over to Psi’s realm. Flo had a little accident there but I won’t embarrass her with a picture *winks*. slave Holly was also wiggling her toes and felt uncomfy. I suspended her from the ceiling and placed a bucket under her. Well, that didn’t work really though. When she peed she missed the bucket and we were lucky not to be showered.

After Flo and Angelique had left for bed, Mistress Jenny and I went over to Carnal Intentions with slave Holly and spent the rest of our night there. We had a relaxed and enjoyable night.

Monday, May24th, I was inworld in the later morning. Mistress Jenny was busy following her adventure, hence I went visiting another exhibition, which I had in mind anyway when going inworld. But I saw Mistress shortly when she had to leave for her RL.

I met Mistress again in the afternoon and we had a very enjoyable hour together visiting club Domme a Domme and club DeLust. Mistress’ sub side is consumed by her adventure at the moment and she had become stricter and more dominant towards me and our slaves. I can’t give any example, but she radiates it and I admit, that I enjoy it.

After Mistress had left I went seeing Flo, slave Holly, Angelique and Ann. Flo was playing skipee with slave Holly. And Angelique and Ann were talking about corsets. Angelique searches a corset fitting to her Maitreya petite body. So far she had no success.
I took slave Holly with me to Psi’s realm, tied her up there and restricted her – good slave girl, all she said was: “tighter please, Mistress”. Then it was time for me to care about my RL as well.

May 24th: Diomita and slave Holly at Psi’s realm

I was inworld early at night and had another unexpected continuation of my blackmailing roleplay. It wsa the last continuation as the roelplay ended abruptly. I won’t share why though.
Later Mistress Jenny and I had our regular game of skipee with Angelique and Flo, then we went to Psi’s realm where slave Holly joined us when she returned inworld.

In the course of the night Mistress Jenny unlocked slave Holly and took her on her leash. And after Angelique and Flo had left for bed, Mistress Jenny and I returned home. Mistress had me unlock slave Holly’s belt, then she inserted an evil butt plug into slave Holly’s ass …. then I closed the belt again, which makes the plug stay in even more secure.
We went to Carnal Intenions with slave Holly afterwards for the rest of the night.

Simploring 2021 (22) Soul Deep

For my simploring tour on Sunday, May 16th, I picked “Soul Deep“. I read a blogpost from Inara Pey about it: “Going Soul Deep in Second Life” that caught my attention.

Soul Deep is an adult homestead owned and designed by Kaelyn Alecto (thenewkae). And I saw and visited quite some sim’s of her before, most recently her sim “It All Starts With A Smile (IASWAS)” just one year ago (read here).

Kaelyn wrote in her profile “Photography is the story I fail to put into words…“. “Soul Deep” is a place to relax, a place to retreat with friends, with your loved one, or just alone. And “Soul Deep” is a place that offers countless motifs for photgraphers. There’s really a bit of everything and nonetheless the sim is still natural, all of a piece.

“Soul Deep” is embedded into a mountain sim surround. It consists of several small islands. In the center is a big pond. The landing is at the shore of this pond on the terrace of a café. From here you can walk on a wooden walkway around the pond.

Along your way you come across many opportunities to sit and enjoy. You even find rafts or a boat large enough for a small party. Just opposed to the landing point across the pond is the largest bilding complex of “Soul Deep“, a harbour building with a naval petrol station, a shipyard and a residential building (the blue house, which doors were locked hence I didn’t look into it). The posters, the lobster buoys, the whole set-up looks like a harbour building in New England.

Not far from there you can walk over a little bridge to the ruins of a church, another romantic place to stay for a while. You also find some nice motifs including birds or other wildlife. Back on the main walkway there are more places to sit and a larger event area with a stage.

I went or better expressed I swam to the lodge next. Acutally in Second Life you can fly the little distance. The logde is a big residential house, fully furnished. On the large terrace everthing is prepared for a bigger event, maybe an anniversary, a birthday party or a wedding. There’s also a little bar. And no sutprise there are more places to sit and enjoy. A bit off the island with the ladge is another cosy place to retreat.

As mentioned before “Soul Deep” offers many different motifs for photographers. Not far from the landing point is a forest, with another ruin that could be a nice background for romantic pictures, and with a camping site. If you want some higher rocks or a background witu mountains, then there are some high rocks you can climb up to and there you even find a goat.

Diary 2021 (67) May 21st/22nd The European Spank Contest

I was inworld in the later morning on Friday, May 21st. I had in mind to go simploring but once again I couldn’t realize my plans. Instead my blackmail roelplay continued until I had to leave to tend to my RL.
In the afternoon I met with Mistress Jenny and we went to Heavy Bondage Club to catch up with our mutual news. Faye joined us there and had a chat with Mistress Jenny. Mistress and I spent some time at Puerto Esclava, then Mistress had to lave for her RL.
slave Holly was inworld. She had sent me an IM and confessed that she had spnet money without my or Mistress Jenny’s permission. It was not much money, just a few L$. But the main point was that she got clothes without asking. Of course I had to punish her. First she had to write down her rules on the writing desk at home (a nice tool where she slave has to write down accurately and precisely predefined texts). Afterwards I took slave Holly to our dungeon and flogged her butt until it was nicely red. Then I bolstered her….

May 21st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club with Faye / Diomita with slave Holly at home

When I met Mistress Jenny at night she had a surprise for me. She exchanged my heavy slave collar with my sub collar. Honestly I stopped counting days or weeks as the slave colalr has become the normal collar, the sub collar is a reward and I enjoy wearing it. Thank you Mistress Jenny.
At night we had our regular Firday night party. Mistress Jenny and I had talked about the theme the day before: “Thank God It’s Friday again – and we are having a party to start the weekend. We are having bad weather for May. So wear your summer dress and we will coax the sun out – or come as you are. DJ Virgo is spinning the tunes.”

Saturday, May 22nd, I met with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon. We went to Puerto Esclava with slave Holly and caught up with our news there and chatted for a bit. Mistress hadn’t that much time and our 45 minutes together went by far too quickly – and I forgot to take a picture.
Ater Mistress had left into her RL I took slave Holly with me in our office and had her lick me. I was just dressed again when Angelique came by requesting my advice about an outfit – I could help her, but I had to leave with slave Holly as I had to pee…..

May 22nd: Diomita and slave Holly at home / Diomita, Angelique and slave Holly at Carnal Intentions

I went to Carnal Intentions with Angelique and slave Holly and allowed slave Holly to use one of the dildo cushions there after I unlocked her chastity belt. Mistress will complain that I spoil slave Holly *winks*. Then it was about time for me to tend to my RL as well and I left slave Holly leashed at Carnal Intentions.

Our night began with a skipee with Angelique and Flo. slave Holly came inworld but was distracted by her RL and she was safe at Carnal Intentions anyway. After our game we went to Carnal Intentions where Elena (Elenaslv Serenity) joined us. Mistress Jenny and I listened and watched the European Song Contest (ESC) in the background. It was fun for us to talked about the songs and the performances. slave Holly had an assignment. She should find out how to change the settings of her butt spanker so that it doesn’t fade as quickly as it does with the standard settings. Mistress Jenny and I spanked her again and again but it took all night to find a setting that might be satisfying for me. We craked jokes about “spanking for the science”.
Then Mistress Jenny came up with some additional fun related to the ESC. If the UK would get more points than Germany, I should get 3 spanks publicly, if Germany gets more points, I should spank Mistress Jenny three times in public. Mistress involved Flo and Switzerland later. The votin was a desaster: the UK got not a single point, Germany 2 … and Switzerland became 2nd in the contest with more than 500 spanks. Funny sidenote, Italy won the ESC with a song perform by a slave boy (the main singer was wearing fetish clothes and a collar).

Now consider that we spanked slave Holly (for the science) all night … that we watched the ESC all night in the background and talked about it amoung us, that Italy and the slave boy won ..and that Mistress Jenny and I would get spanked by Flo in public as a result of the ESC…. does ESC not fit way better to “European Spank Contest”?

Art in Second Life 2021 (50) Marea2007 Praga – My Surreal World Part 2

I’m more than 13 years in Second Life and although I have quite varied passions in this virtual environment art is for sure a quite big part of it. And I still come across artists I never heard about before although they are very active in Secondlife even longer than me.

For my art afternoon on Sunday, May 2nd, I decided to visit Second Life Endowment for the Arts SLEA and to see another of the current installations there “Marea2007 Praga – My Surreal World Part 2“. Her installation is in the SW corner of Region 4 and will be available until June 30th, 2021.

I got a notecard before entering and this notecard – written by Marea2007 Praga – is that detailed, that I don’t need to write anything more. This makes it a lot easier for me.

The installation My Surreal World, Part 2 (3d Sculptures and Poetry) is the continuation of a previous Project realized in Plusia (My Art Land since 2007), fruit of lived Dreams and States of Mind experienced and reworked now in a Surrealist Key. All the sensations and emotions of love in a dreamlike world expressly created for the liberation from the social conventions and represented with passionate irrationality and spontaneous impulse. The unconscious breaks free and creates a dream world that here finds full representation and reality.

Impressions of “Marea2007 Praga – My Surreal World Part 2” (1)

My love for Art has always had a special attention to Surrealism, which has always been more congenial to my moods and my nature.
This intention is further developed in my current project in Second Life: *Art & Fashion* where I apply my idea of Surrealism with 3d sculptures and a clothing line for female avatars where I combine Real Art (Watercolors, Paintings, Photos, Drawings) with Virtual Fashion.

In this Exhibit realized in SLEA with 3D Sculptures and Poetry (Remark: Poetry is in Italian) I intend to carry out the representation of the freedom of the woman (I don’t consider myself an artist but only a creative person) that leaves the thoughts free to choose which path to take… wandering in art without a destination or look for one or infinite.
It’s also the representation of human freedom more generally: the freedom that is born, evolves, but also knows how to take root and regenerate itself, according to what it feels and wants.
Genesis, constant change and metamorphosis that know accentuate the diversity and that know to shift attention … distorting the common sense, showing us a different reality, a new perspective, infinite new interpretations.

Eyes, hands, cages, masks, roots, watches and many other symbols .. all images that hover soft removing obstacles, judgments, contingencies, limitations and boundaries.
Surreality, dreams and emotions that dominate and win over all and are timeless…far from any social convention .
The Charm of the Dream, all that exceeds the apparent reality, and touches, crosses and involves aspects unreal, supernatural, ethereal, linked to the subconscious and other worlds and languages.
A journey that I would like to share with those who will come to visit me because…. “the key word is not opening, but sharing”.

Marea2007 Praga is the owner and curator of Plusia, a project for the dissemination of the arts since 2007. For ten years she has organized art exhibitions offering free spaces to artists from all over the world, she hosted theater companies, dance and live music and also collaborated with Science On The Road and other cultural initiatives to bring science in Second Life in a comprehensive and simple way.
In recent years she has limited her presence in Second Life due to work and family commitments but still continued to deal with art but with less assiduity. Every year she participates in the Linden Birthday with her personal projects.
Her current projects and all the events and exhibtions she supported can be found on Marea’s website.

Impressions of “Marea2007 Praga – My Surreal World Part 2” (4): The art of Wan Laryukov

In her installation Marea also features another artist – again someone I haven’theard about before: Wan Laryukov. You can teleport or fly to the transparent sepereate platform above the installation. Wan Laryukov presents her 3D and 2D art there. Wan is in Second Life also since 2007 and from her profile I gathered that she is alo connected to Plusia. She owns a gallery named “The Eye Arts”. Another artist and another gallery that I should visit soon.

I had an enjoyable Sunday afternoon enjoying art and learning about artists, I didn’t come across before. If you have a passion for art and if you like surreal art I can only recommend to visit “Marea2007 Praga – My Surreal World Part 2“.
