Sub’s Shangri-La

Jenny and I have decided that the Sub’s retreat will be named “Sub’s Shangri-La”. The proposal came from Faith Hamer, who is just doing her trial for us. We love the name as it expresses a deep contentedness and balance and also has a mystical touch like all of our SL has. It’s also nowadays another word for paradise. Look up Wikipedia for a full explanation. Congratulations, Faith your proposal is already written on the hut’s wall.
Please enjoy all our “Sub’s Shangria-La”

Love from Dio and Jenny

Contest

Today we set a contest to our family members and we include our friends too.

We built a beach as a retreat for our family and subs for them to relax and enjoy each others company. We have bought some things that fit in perfectly with the island theme and the contest is for the best name for the beach.

Well that may have been a big mistake, we made such a good job of it that I would like to call it Domme Bay and have a hitching post for subs just over the hill 🙂 . But a promise is a promise so take a look and see if you have the perfect name for your retreat.

Time to relax after all the hard work is done

I know that we are both very pleased with our new home and happier than we have ever been.

What a week

As Domita said we were evicted at short notice from Dragon Cove. Just to explain how short the notice was, we were talking sitting in a chair made for two when without warning I was in freefall and by the time I hit the ground the quarter sim we rented between us was empty.

This week has been busy. Without a doubt.

We found a Homestead and within minutes we had decided that it was the place for us.

A blank sheet and lots to do it was also an oportunity to learn more about the place (SL) that fills our life. I asked if I might be allowed to try my hand at a bit of landscaping and after about 6 hours on day two I was surprised by how much I had learnt and done. A sim with the name of Mount Everest deserves a feature and I found out that using a snow texture in the region settings and playing with the height spread I made something that looks quite natural.

Now the rush…….

We both wanted so much to have everything ready for our Friday night Disco.

Ideas were swapped and a lot of work was done by all so that we had everything in place.

Thank you very much to Virgo and Starry for helping with the finishing touches. We always wanted the Friday night dances to be something for everybody in an inclusive way and tonight I felt that it all came together as best as it ever could. It really did feel like family and friends coming together for a relaxing dance and chat. As always there is banter and most of all great music.

After all the negative feelings of being evicted and fighting for our rent owed, within 3 days we were dancing in the sunset with some of the nicest people in SL.

Life is what you make it.

That is true for RL and SL alike.

We have one hell of time together and I am sure Fridays will get bigger and better in our new home.

Love to you all

Jen

Bye Bye Dweeb

A couple of weeks ago our landlord stepped out of business and sold the sim we were living at to the guy who was our neighbor. Just after he took over, we gave him the nickname “dweeb” because he restarted the sim with no warning and pulled in 75 people for a party. He must have felt very cool. Then he demanded to get access to all our private rooms for maintenance as he called it but in reality he only wanted to spy on us. Then he blamed us for causing lag on his sim as he wants to streamline it for even larger parties. To shorten the story, dweeb found a security system deep inside a prison, called it breach of contract and evicted us within 60 min not even taking into account that we might be not online all the time. And then we got our rent refund only after filing AR’s to LL.

We expected this all the moment we met him. We thought we would have time to move, but we had not. Anyway, bye bye dweeb!!

We bought a new place, a homestead, no dweebs. And we’re just settling. Next Friday we will re-open the Club Eurobrats and hopefully can focus on our fun again for a long time.

Welcome to Eurobrats Headquarter in Mount Everest (what a great name!)

Winter at Eurobrats Headquarter

The turn of the year is close. We had our 3rd Christmas in Second Life and our 4th year is close to come. We have decorated our Headquarters according to the season and we had a white Christmas in both worlds. It has been a relaxing time and it still is.

Our family has grown a bit. I happily collared a new girl, my doll Dana. And two days ago she already got her tattoos which mark her as mine. And Vanessa finally got her tattoos as Maurer’s Property as she has been our sub for over 2 years now. We may get another sub in 2011 who should then complete the Maurers family for now. Sometimes Jenny and I have to retreat secretly to get some togetherness. But don’t get me wrong – we’re really happy as it is.

During the holidays we acquired a new slave who decorates our fireplace right now. She enjoys being close and is a nice object to exercise, to test new tools and scripts, to tease .. and maybe to reward for her endurance sometimes. we can use her to distract ourselfs … or ignore her. Just  what a slave is for. I enclosed a picture of “it”.

Yesterday Jenny and I spent a couple of hours trying out the Restrained Freedom Adventure, a classical quest embedded in the bdsm scenery. We really had fun although we didn’t finish the quest but gave up at the last hurdle …. damned cat! Slaveboy will do the quest now and you’ll soon read about it here.

That’s it for now. This entry also acts  for us as a kind of a diary. It will close the blog for this year.
Byebye 2010 – Welcome 2011. Happy new year to everyone reading this

From the Ashes

SL is a strange place, we meet our friends on line and we struggle against all the things that SL throws against us. When Emerald was declared to be non compliant those of us that relied on it worried. Version 2 is a pig it has menus that are difficult to control and it is just is not fun. So for the lovers of Emerald Phoenix rose from the ashes. With Phoenix we have a new lease of life just how we want it and it seems like home.

That brings us to our personal experiences. RR went down recently. We do not know why but we almost lost everything we own. Out of the ashes we managed to claim our possessions and we also found a new place to call our home. We worked hard to find the best location and also to make this new home a place we would like all of our family to visit.
We have a beach area including our headquarters and home. Some fun on the beach and a new prison come play area so beware.

Hidden but only just we have a new hotel and Isolation area. But the main feature is the new play area. We so much want to keep Friday nights a fun night for our family and friends that we have made a new club for the Friday night Disco which includes a play area for FUN!.

We are both so happy to have a place to call our home and a  place to bring our friends join us. Let us all enjoy the things to come and not dwell on what was. From the ashes begins a new life. Welcome to Eurobrats Headquarter and Club Eurobrats at Dargon Cove !

Good bye, Rivers Rock

Our homesim Rivers Rock has been down several days and we couldn’t reach our landlord. To make a long story short Rivers Rock is gone most probably forever. After filing a ticket LL reopened the sim and allowed us to grab our stuff. We took our whole stuff last night – instead of dancing at the Bratz Club at Rivers Rock. That was a real sad thing to do. We have had such a good time at Rivers Rock. But we will keep our memories of it. And when we’ll rebuildt a new Eurobrats Headquarter much of it will remember us of Rivers Rock.
We will have to rearrange our plans for next Friday, Oct 22nd, when we planned to have our 2nd anniversary party at the Bratz Club in Rivers Rock. Hopefully we’ll find an alternative.

Bye Bye
As hard as it is now being homeless and having lost a beloved surrounding –
Rivers Rock will have a place in our memories and will stay for us what it was:
a place where we spent close to 2 years of happiness.

Bye Bye Rivers Rock

Euro Brats HQ

Sometimes it’s time for a change. Since some time in 2008 we have a plot in Rivers Rock and the overall design didn’t change much. So now we felt it’s time for a change. We could enlarge our plot as our neighbors moved away. And after the idea was born we began looking for a new house. That kept us busy for the last days. In the end we decided for a beach house in a caribean Style and for a second house in an asian style that we’ll use for mostly for playing. The main constructions works are done now and we look forward enjoying our old new home. Friends and family are always welcome !

See you inworld … Dio
