Art in Sceond Life 2021 (4) La Maison d’Aneli Jan/Feb 2021

On Wednesday, January 13th, Aneli Abeyante opened a new joined exhibtion at La Maison d’Aneli. The participating artists for the first exhibtion of 2021 are: Sasha Arivalhagan (arivalhagan), Shoshisn Shilova, Anja (neobookie), NicoleX Moonwall, Kuervo (DonKuervo), GlitterPrincess Destiny, Zia Branner, Talixa and the RL artist Françoise Waroux.

As in the last exhibtions each of the 9 artists has an own skybox to fill at their liking or needs. Hence the art is presented in very different environment.

I started my tour with the art of Kuervo. I don’t know anything about the artist. The owner of the pictures, DonKuervo, is just 3 weeks old and therefore I assume it was created for this exhibition. In the accompanying notecard Kuervo writes: “The paintings that I exhibit here have been drawn and painted by me in IRL. I worked on the lights to create a nice presentation on SL. I am a self-taught person, my paintings were made mainly with acrylics, sometimes with Chinese inks or watercolors. I’m interested in drawing and painting, I’m a graphic designer, and I’m also interested in 3D, photography, djing, as well as sculpture.”

Kuervo’s skybox is just this – a box. The walls are used to present the pictures and yes, there’s something that makes you feel “Africa”, and not just because of the zebras. The lighting is selected nicely, the lights move and give the pictures a colourful gloss every once in a while. The effect is stunning compared to looking at the pictures without the moving light.

GlitterPrincess Destiny is in Second Life for almost 13 years. I never came across her before. At La Mansion d’Aneli she divided her skybox into an entry area and a box with 3 levels. GlitterPrincess presents pictures and some smaller 3D objects and installations. They all are about isolation, pain and death. There are some “books” close to several of GlitterPrincess’ art. Clicking these books gives you a notecard with a thought or two about the art. I’m not sure but I think the installation is expressing the isolation, the fear and the deaths that came with the current pandemic. GlitterPrincess’ pictures do tell stories, as it should be.
GlitterPrincess destiny writes in the accompanying notecard: “To capture the soul of emotions ……. subject soul and deep thoughts. This is my goal as a artist + photographer in SL“. You can also look up GlitterPrincess Destiny’s flickr page.

Zia Branner designed her box at La Maison d’Aneli as a warehouse with two floors. Zia is in Second Life for almost 13 years. She brought her RL paintings to SL. The paintings are mostly quite large and colourful, most of them are abstract, some are showing landscapes that have been coloured. From the accompanying notecard I have the following information:
“Zia Branner had many drawing and painting art lessons at official institutes RL. She is also autodidact on things that did not come along in class. To her making art is a way of life. Often experimenting with techniques as a learning process. Most of the times she paints on canvas, but she also paints on wood and paper. Zia believes that “making art is rebellion against the finiteness of life“. The most important thing to her is that it makes her happy to see others enjoy her art as much as she loves creating it.”
If you are interested in her art you can look up Zia Branner’s website. I do have a weakness for colourful art and hence I enjoyed the visit to her skybox.

Talixa is a new-media artist and in Second Life for over 5 year. She “examines the impact of new technologies on human identities and social connections. In the project shown at La Masion d’Aneli she examines how an AI facial recognition algorithm detects her own face when it is disguised by different digital filters. The algorithms used in this project is an off-the-shelf model, freely available on the GitHub community. The facial filters used in this installation are all freely available on Snap-Chat and were created by talented Snap-Chat artists: Sarah Mayer, jp pirie, Hiral Parekh, Jason Porter, agreeable greg, Joshua Keeney and Stencil Profane.“


The skybox is filled with the pictures of Talixa’s face, levitating freely in the room, vanishing, appearing and turning, so that it is hard to focus on on face only – but the machine can. While it is funny to see the filters and what the AI recognizes, it is also scaring (me at least).

“Hello and welcome into my world of Second Life art“, writes Anja (neobookie) in the accompanying notecard to her part of the exhibtion at La Maison d’Aneli. “I’m a Dutchie who likes to create, discover and explore the creativity inworld. I discovered the magic of making photographs and invite you, by my art, to join me on my trip. My exhibit is an attempt to create the story of myself as I walk Second Life and experience the world and dreams the surround us all. My thoughts turned into reflections of what I feel in both 2d landscapes and “NEOBOXES”“


I like Anja’s art and the quotes on the walls of her exhibtion, that fit with the art showcased: “How far you go has nothing to do with distance” or “How deep you go has nothing to do with thinking at most with a will“. Anja presents quite elaborated 3D objects. Her pictures, taken within Second Life, prove a eye for the detail. I enjoyed my visit to Anja’s box.

Sasha (arivalhagan) is in Second Life for more than 7 years. She writes about herself in the accompanying notecard: “My personal acronym: NAA – Not An Artist! I think being an artist is one of the pinnacles of an existence. I don’t think I’ve reached it. That said, I do like photography a lot. The principle of my exhibition is very simple: to allow you to feel you are being seen. Not necessarily watched, but considered, questioned, appreciated, desired, questioned, loved, admired … And then let you imagine what stories are hidden behind all these glances less simple than they appear at first glance“


Her skybox at La Maison d’Aneli is filled with pictures taken in Second Life, processed to enhance them. Many of the pictures are portraits, some show the whole avatar. Sasha always succeeds to make her pictures an eye-catcher, to make them tell a story, just as she wrote in the notecard. But I won’t call her an artist *winks*. Shoshisn Shilova is another SL veteran with over 13 years in Second Life. I like the motto in her or his profile: “Reality is for those of you who can’t handle fiction“. Shoshisn uses male and female avatar shapes, which fits to the motto!
At Shoshisn’s space at La Masion d’Aneli almost all walls are covered with pictures, one wall is used to present 3D sulptures. The pictures cover a broad variety of art, erotic, fantasy, objects, scenes. This is also fitting to the above motto. There are many pictures and it was not that easy to decide which ones to take for this blog entry – but I got it done.

Françoise Waroux is an RL artist. Here’s an excerpt of the text in the accompanying notecard: “From a childhood marked by several stays in Africa I kept the taste of the great outdoors, the light and colors. I have always collected flowers, branches, seeds, shells, feathers, pebbles for their beauty and for the pleasure of holding them in my hands. I started with collages, but the collages are fragile, difficult to transport and resist poorly time, the branches and shells break, the leaves and flowers lose their color… So I turned to photography to keep my collages intact. I enlarge or light a detail or a hidden side of an object or landscape, or on the contrary, I strip it to preserve only the characteristics that I feel as essential. I play with shapes, colors, light and proportions for bold, colorful and very original creations that sometimes surprise me myself. Each image is unique.“


I couldn’t write it any better. The pictures are colourful and unique, yet I hadn’t thought that they were based on collages of flowers and branches and other stuff. Well done!

NicoleX Moonwall is in Second Life for more than 11 years. She’s one of the outstanding machinama film-makers in Second Life. Filming in SL and RL since 2011, she has over 900 films that illustrate her unique style of filming, with sweeping long takes and little or no editing, on YouTube and Vimeo. She has received international recognition and has participated in over 150 film festivals around the world. For more information look at NicoleX’s website.
NicoleX’s installation at La Maison d’Aneli wasn’t finished yet, when I visited the first time. I visited it at the opening again. It’s quite difficult to interpret or understand this installation. It is a 3D artwork, a bit like a snippet of a nightmare involving Jesus Christ a bunny head, blocks and a loo. It looks different depending on the viewing angle and the Christ cross and the bunny head are connected, energy is flowing. Jesus Christ has a bunny head by the way …. I fail interpreting it.

La Maison d’Aneli is owned by Aneli Abeyante. Through her gallery she brings together all forms of creativity in RL and SL and the featured artists come from around the globe. Aneli’s intention is to “put her gallery in the service of artists, so that the world can be better, exchanges and meetings probably contribute even though it seems to be particles.”
Thank you for another great joined exhibtion, Aneli. As always I enjoyed my visit and writing about it. It always inspires me.

Art in Second Life 2021 (3) Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple

One year ago I came across the art of Milly Sharple the first time when I saw her work at La Maison d’Aneli (read here). I visited her own art gallery soon after and reported about it (read here).
I learned that Milly is also a talented sim builder and creator and makes her own Christmas installation every year. It is called “Let it snow! A Winter Wonderland” and I visited it in 2019 (read here) and in 2020 (read here). When I talked with Milly about her recent Christmas installation, she told me that she moved her own art gallery and added new artwork. I visited Milly’s gallery “Fractal Insanity” on Sunday, December 27th, 2020.

Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple (1)

Fractal Insanity is a large building in a skybox. It extends over three floor and showcases the broad variety of Milly’s art. The floors and rooms are sorted by theme that range from classic fractal art over mixtures of pictures of avatars with fractals to pictures taken in real life and processed into oil paintings.

The themes vary from portraits to animals, particular cats. One theme is common: “In diversity there is beauty and there is strength”

There are rooms with animated art. I love this kind of art as the captured picture is a peice of art in itself and hardly reproducible. Milly also played with styles and there’s a corner with pictures that have an Asian touch.

Once again Milly’s art impressed me, this time in particular the broad variety of her artistic work. Scattered on all floors you will also see her 3D art, her sculptures. One of these, called “Humantree” is also at our home.

Milly Sharple is an artist and photographer from the UK in real life and has always enjoyed art and artistic expression. She’s in Second Life since 2008 and was perhaps one of the pioneers in introducing fractal art to Second Life.

I enjoyed my visit to “Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple“, it was just the perfect activity for a Sunday morning. Have a look around yourself. Milly also provides some gifts, but they are limited in mumber. I grabbed one and will look to find a nice place for it at our home. Molly told me later, that the gifts change every month and if you join her group you even get a notice when a new gift is up. The gallery is a steady work in progress, hence new pictures are added every once in a while.

Diary 2020 (180) December 28th/29th Finally in control again (I)

Monday, December 28th, I was inworld shortly before lunch and shortly after lunch. I met with Kitty at Lochme and at Psi’s realm. Later in the afternoon I met Mistress Jenny. It was a particular day for me – a green light started. I asked Mistress to wear her romper dress in a light pink and to add the vixen cuff set. I didn’t start my green light though. We first met with Ebony who was at home and had cleaned the house. We took her to xtra ordinairy to get her a Christmas present, she was the last one on our list. We spent quite some time at the shop as it was Ebony’s first visit and she liked the shop.
After we returned home, Ebony had to present herself in her new outfit. We enjoyed the “ooops” function, that allows to pull the dress down to reveal the breasts and/or the pussy – and Ebony likes her new outfit. Flo joined us at the house for a bit.

Then I finally started my green light and took Mistress to club Domme a Domme where I had her at my feet. To my pleasure there were a few other guests who noticed that Mistress was at my feet. We did nothing, we just caught up with our mutual news – and I had quite something to fill Mistress in.

Before Mistress and I left to turn to our RL, I took her to our hideaway and stored her in a new tiny cage, which I got as an advent gift from DsR. This way, I knew where to find her at night to take advantage of her before we met with the family.

My night began as I had planned it – with fucking my very owned Mistress. That was satisfying … and I also made sure to get my necessary amount of sweet poison. We went home next and played skipee with Angelique and Flo and had a relaxed time.

slave Melissa came inworld shortly before we had finished our game. As Heavy Bondage Club, Carnal Intentions and Puerto Esclava were full we went to Psi’s realm. We chatted amoung us and I began playing with the Anavision of Flo, slave Melissa and Mistress Jenny. When Angelique had left we moved on to Mesmerize Dungeon. But there were not many people. Hence we focussed on ourselves. Well that is not fully true – Mistress Jenny, Flo and slave Melissa focused on me – all eyes on me *winks*. Lucy (MissLucyWales) came by for a few minutes but had to leave again.

Shortly after Flo had left for bed we returned home and brought slave Melissa to bed. I took Mistress to club Domme a Domme and enjoyed my control. We ended the night at Carnal Inentions, where we met Ann again.

Tuesday, December 29th, I enjoyed again my control over Mistress Jenny. I had got a good whipping post as another advent gift from DsR and I intended to make use of it. But it was hard to make up a pretext for punishing Mistress and I didn’t want to use the standard prext (because I can). So it had to be the long time that I didn’t had a green light and the trouble it came with it as my dominant side wasn’t care enough about. I won’t reveal here what kind of trouble *winks*. That said, I made Mistress strip when she came inworld in the afternoon and fixed her on the whipping post. She got a nice flogging – geez I was out of exercise and her bum became a bit too much colour.
But my message was clear and Mistress did promise to consider more green light.

Sometimes the rolling restarts come to the wrong time. We had to leave our hideaway but the flogging was done anyway. We went to Mature Dommes where I made Mistress wear her shiny hobble dress before I took her to club Domme a Domme and Carnal Intentions to proudly expose her and her glowing bum.

After this small tour I stored Mistress at our secret hideway, that had been restarted in the meanwhile.

At night I went shopping first as Mistress wasn’t yet inworld. I got new hair, that could ne kind of a lock down haircut as hairdressers are closed in RL – I combed and washed out the volume and cut it straight myself.
When Mistress came online I had to take the opportunity and had her lick and spoil me before we went seeing Angelique and Flo. We had a game of skipee together as teams. It was fun as it was a very close game. We went to Mesmerize Dungeon with Angelique and Flo and Molly (subbymolly) joined us there. We had really fun together teasing first Angelique and then Molly about “accidents”.

Flo and Angelique left quite early that night and I took Mistress and Molly to Carnal Intentions. Again we had a lot of fun. Not only that we continued teasing Molly and not only that we had main chat with another domme and her sub about Molly – we had a funny group chat with a lot of people. Ann (Transann) was trying to find Wiltrud Piccard, who had become a toy of someone we saw quite often. The chat was full of banter and we laughed a lot. Finally we left Carnal Intentions shortly before midnight and went to club Domme a Domme.
Funny, although the group chat with Ann had ended, there were other guests at Domme a Domme, who continued talking with us about it. The BDSM scene in Second Life can be small sometimes.

Again we stayed longer that we had intended as we talked to another domme (I knew her from a kidnap scene we had a few months ago) and her sub about swapping pets. It wasn’t serious, but fun.

Simploring 2021 (2) The Isles of Ice

For my simploring tour on Wednesday, December 16th, I picked “The Isles of Ice” from scoop.it SL Destinations. From what I could find out “The Isles of Ice” exists at least since 2014 and is owned by Linden Lab itself. Annie Brightstar (anniebrightstar) listed on her scoop.it SL Destinations the Linden Department of Public Works (LDPW) Moles Crazy Mole, Sylvan Mole, Squishy Mole, Silent Mole, Naughty Mole as builders and creators ot “The Isles of Ice“.

“The Isles of Ice” consist of 5(!) full regions (Aerodyne, Byrd, Periscope, Crankshaft, Vernier) with 20000 prims each, but the only a few of the total 100,000 are actually used. They are all built in a row and I was not able to make a full overview map for orientation. Hence I splitted the overview.

The landing in this icy environment is close to the see next to a penguin colony. They are lovely. The lighthouse caught my eye first and I went there. I walked up to the observation deck from where I had a nice view over “The Isles of Ice“.

The most impressive building is next to the landing point as well. I first thought it was a power plant. But it must be something else. What is it? I have no idea. At the entrance is a huge “Ice Roboter”, inside are a few control screens from surveillance cameras of different spots of “The Isles of Ice“. And the machines inside? I have no idea. Outside of the central plant are some crytals ..is that a stock to be processed in the central plant?

The landmark description did not reveal the purpose of the central plant but there’s a hint what “The Isles of Ice” was built for: “The hangout, headquarters, and laboratory for the people working on Magellan’s plan to save the world!“

I looked into all buildings near to the landpoint. One seems to be used for a control center, another is built to park the vehicles of the employees. In the control center I found a blue print “Anti Mind Control Project” – and one building seems to be kind of a laboratory with strange equipment and a cage with an animal? inside.

I continued my simploring tour walking over the “crystal bridge” to the huge center iglu. Here I found some information and a background story. The iglu is named “The Ice Hub”. In the center is the start point for a scavenger hunt – Magellan’s Grid Scavenger Hunt.

“Hello my brave adventurer. Your help is sorely needed. I received an urgent message from my dear friend Tyra. She was investigating missing crystals from Linden Realms when she discovered Mole people, (Not to be confused with our own beloved LDPW moles, who are quite a different kettle of worms), hauling crystals underground! I too have seen this for myself! So strange as the Mole people are normally so shy and un-aggressive. It seems as if they are being controlled by an evil mole named Dr Talpa. I first saw him in the tunnels under Nova Albion. Do not for any minute, underestimate this mole! He is highly intelligent and highly dangerous! Approach him with caution!

After some preliminary investigations, we discovered that the evil Dr Talpa has been stealing crystals from the Linden Realms, to power a machine which will place Rock Monsters under his control. The machine hasn’t been perfected yet, but when it is, Doctor Talpa’s Boulder Beasts will erupt from below the terrain and take over Second Life!
The Moles seem to be under some sort of spell. We think they are being mind controlled. I have been testing my theory in my laboratory on The Isles of Ice, and I am trying to make an anti Mind Control Machine in the hopes of foiling Dr Talpa’s evil plan. So far I have made two special hats that seem to resist the mind control effects. My first prototype was the Tin Foil Hat, and a more advanced version is the Suckerfish Hat. Wearing one of these hats seems to resist the mind control effects.
We need your help, brave adventurer. We need you to collect the parts we need from around the grid to help construct our Anti Mind Control Machine, free the Mole people, and stop the evil Dr Talpa from his plans of total grid domination and destruction of Second Life as we know it!

For now I have established a base of my own for the creation of this defense, and for the gathering of brave volunteers on the Isles of Ice. I have some theories to where the parts we need are located. To help you in your journey I have created snow globe teleports, located in the server room and I have also made a HUD with some clues to guide you on your travels

On the second floor of the “The Ice Hub” is a detailed instruction for the hunt. I didn’t look into that too but continues simploring. I came across another ice roboter and explored a a builing that is obviously used to meet and socialize.

“The Isles of Ice” provide a great background for taking pictures and it is it inspiring to see the different builings. A lot of creativity has gone into them. I had fun simploring “The Isles of Ice” although I didn’t understand all. My thanks go to the involved LDPW-Moles and to Linden Lab.

Diary 2020 (179) December 26th/27th A long Christmas Weekend (II)

Saturday, December 26th, Boxing Day 2020, I went on a simploring tour in the earlier morning. I visited a nice and romantic sim with lots of nature and enjoyed my tour. While I was still simploring Kitty came inworld to wish me merry Christmas. In fact for her it was almsot still the Christmas day. After I finished my tour I met with Kitty and got her the present that Mistressn and I had selected for her, a jumper suit from xtra Ordinairy. And of course I took a picture of Kitty and me before we spent some time together at Psi’s realm until I had to leave to tend to my RL.

I returned shortly before noon, actually I just peeked in to see if I could meet Mistress by coincidence. I didn’t have much timee though. And yes, she was inworld. I joined Mistress at club Domme a Domme and we caught up with our news. It was not very crowded at the club. All of a sudden another guest asked me to come over. It was a younger domme and Mistress ordered me to comply. I went over to her and after she had looked me up from head to toe she asked me to kneel – I did. In that moment Mistress had to leave to care about her cooking meal. Luckily, the young domme had to leave. Luckily in particular because I had to leave myself. But something like that hadn’t happened for a long time. Being called over while Mistress was present? And the young lady didn’t even ask Mistress for permission. I admit, I’m curious if something will follow.

I met with Mistress again after lunch at Heavy Bondage Club. Molly (subbymolly), a friend of Kitty, who had joined the party the night before, reported in to Mistress Jenny and me. Mistress summoned her to us and Molly decorated us while we were at the club. Mistress was prevented from coming inworld at night and she cares about me and my addiction to her. Actually, she fosters it to strengthen my bond to her. And my fix was due …. Hence we went to our loft skybox before Mistress had to leave for that day. Thank you, Mistress.

But the afternoon was not yet over. Later I went inword again and met Angelique at club Domme a Domme. She was wearing the dress that she got from Mistress and me for Christmas. We talked and again it was an intense conversation like it was the day before. And this timee I couldn’t refrain and took Angelique with me to another hideaway of ours and had her lick me …. phewww. We both said it was overdue *winks*

At night I met Angelique at Heavy Bondage Club and we waited there until Flo came inworld, then we returned home and played a skipee together.
Afterwards I wanted to test Flo’s new mittens and asked her to wear them. Piqued by Angelique Flo resisted and I used her RLV folder and put her full set of vixen on, restricted her, gagged her we took her and Angelique to Carnal Intentions, but Flo had troubles, seemingly she couldn’t stop walking at all. She relogged with no success. Finally I took her home and it stopped. We moved to Mesmerize Dungeon as I hoped for less lag …. and yes that worked, but when I asked Flo to correct her ankel position she must have hit something worng and her whole body was a mess. Hence we returned home where Angelique helped FLo to get properly dressed again. Then we tried again getting her new NGW mittens working. It didn’t work at all and at flotime we gave up. I have no diea what was wrong, but it makes no sense to spoil more time on them. And that was my night … and just one picture of Angelique and me with Flo at Mesmerize Dungeon. That’s also SL 🙂

I went to Heavy Bondage Club with Angelique for a bit, then Angelique went to bed. I stayed on a bit longer and met with the young domme who had called me over to her in the morning. It seems that she’s overly busy with her clients as she “works” as a fin domme. She was eager for my beauty (gosh, I’m blushing in RL!) and I was supposed to decorate her like a trophy. I refused – and so this little intermezzo ended.

Sunday, December 27th, I visited a gallery in the early morning. That was a nice variation. I also spoke to Kitty, Angelique and to Flo shortly. In the afternoon, I met with Mistress Jenny and Angelique at Heavy Bondage Club. Angelique was about to start a kidnap and Mistress needed a break but returned soon after.

Angelique’s kidnap role play didn’t turn out as expected and she returned. Mistress returned too and we spent the afternoon at Heavy Bondage Club chatting and teasing eachother. I had failed one of Mistress orders the day before and that gave her reason to tease me badly – and she was right in addition. Ann and Vani (vanilla Meili) joined us and Ann was standing behind us on the little wall that surrounds the court and looked like our Latex Goddess.

At night Mistress was not inworld again. I first played a skipee with Angelique and Flo, then Angelique had to leave to bed and I took Flo with me to Heavy Bondage Club again, as the other places we usually visit were either almost empty or full. Molly Firelythe (subbymolly) joined us at Heavy Bondage Club. We stayed not too long but moved on to Carnal Intentions where Ann, our Latex Goddess and her decoration LaraSofie stood close by. I talked Molly into getting the AnaVision hood and once she wore it, I scared her taking full control, she squirmed but the vision tool is evil and made her cooperate well. I continued teasing Molly when slave Flo had went off to bed – and had fun. But I released Molly from the vision and set her restraints on timer later. After all she’s an owned sub.

Wednesday, December 23rd, I had another relaxed time with Mistress in the afternoon. Good news for me, Mistress granted a green light for me soon, something to look forward to! We spent our time at Puerto Esclava and Heavy Bondage Club, read profiles, chatted and just were together.

At night I was alone first and roamed a bit through the club until Mistress came in world. We went to club Domme a Domme where I knelt at Mistress feet. Flo come inworld soon after and I got interrupted by my RL. When I returned Flo had logged off again and Mistress was talking with someone we met a few days before the first time, when Mistress and I were looking for trouble as twin Angelique’s. Let’s call her L. L wanted to see our home and Mistress invited her on a tour.
It was almost funny when first Ebony and then Flo showed up. Ebony made her usual remarks while cleaning the house – talking about licking the chocolate from the toilet seat – and she made these remarks ver loud so that we could hear them. I admit, L’s visit was not easy. Even Flo made a remark that made L speechless. L left and as it was already late we just took Ebony and Flo to MD for half an hour until it was time for flo to go to bed. It was also time for Mistress to go to bed as she had an early start the next day.

On Thurday, December 24th, Mistress was not around during the day. I was on and off several times that Christmas Eve day. In the morning I met kitty at home. She had trouble, she as a red cloud for herself and she had no inventory access. I cleared the restrictions set in her cuff .. so that she could wear a shape … problem solved. It a SL glitch that happens every once in a while. I sent out our Christmas cards, I met Ebony at Puerto Esclava … and had just some relaxed time.

Later at night I could meet Mistress Jenny and Flo and we could wish each other happy Christmas in person. We went to Caged Elegance and danced at Gravity (theriaeriker)’s party for almost to an hour.

Friday, December 25th, Christmas 2020, I spend again time in Second Life while Mistress was off during the day. Again I was on and off. I had a few encounters, not all were nice though. At club DeLust I made a nice selfie of myself with Santa. I love this picture! In the afternoon I spent quite some time with Angelique at Heavy Bondage Club. We watched the silent crowd, chatted and had a good time together

At night Virgo showed up for our party when I was just playing skipee with Flo and Angelique. We had a spontaneous unplanned Christmas party and a surprisingly good turn out of guests. And Mistress came inworld. we dnaced and could catch up with our mutual news. It was a nice, relaxed Christmas day in both worlds.

Simploring 2021 (1) The Isle of Elar – Still Memories

For my simploring tour on Saturday, December 26th 2020, I picked “The Isle of Elar – Still Memories” from scoop.it SL Destinations. The landmark profile is quite fitting and sums up perfectly what it is about: “Elar is a woodland themed sim depicting natural beauty all around you, Here you can explore, be romantic, spend time with friends, or take creative photos!“

“The Isle of Elar” is a full adult region. It is group owned. From Maddy Gynoid’s post “Simtipp: The Isle of Elar – Still Memories” I learned that The Isle of Elar was designed and is owned by Shayn Mackenzie.

The landing point is on a pier with a sailing yacht. Right next the landing point is a little welcome Christmas hut and several boards. I got welcomed by a bot: “Welcome to Elar. Our Sim is designed for exploring, romance and photography. We may be an adult sim, but we ask that you refrain from sex while visiting. Artistic nudity is allowed Suggestions welcome. All prims will be auto returned after 2 hours.“

You can explore the sim on foot or rezz a horse right next to the landing. I rezzed a horse, rode a bit but then continued my simploring tour on foot. There’s a long trail leading to the center of the island.

Impressions of The Isle of Elar – Still Memories (2) – Chess park, Waterfall, Meditation cave

The Isle of Elar is coined by its many waterfalls that make great backgrounds for pictures. And there are really countless places to sit and cuddle and to enjoy the beauty of this virtual paradies. There’s a residential house and a park with a chess board not far from the landing point.

One outstanding feature is the wooden elevator quite in the center of the island. A bot explains how to use it: “Hey You!! If ya need the elevator., just stand on it and click it to go up. If ya don’t see it, click this wheel thingy here to get it to come down…..Ya that’s it!!!!”
I went up and found another little paradise overlooking the island – and again places to just enjoy.

Impressions of The Isle of Elar – Still Memories (4) – Cathedral ruins, Christmas tree shop, Beach, Waterfall

On the ground level, right opposed to the elevator is a passage to a meditation cave, a place to take a little break.
What else? There’s a Christmas tree shop, there’re the ruins of a cathedral, there’re trails from which you get great views on the waterfalls, there’s a nice large beach and …. places to sit and enjoy.

Monday, December 21st, I was shortly inworld in the later morning, yet nothing to report. I returned after lunch and went visiting a gallery. While I was there, Kitty cam inworld – 5 AM in the morning her time. We chatted a bit while I continued my gallery visit.
After I had finished, I checked Kitty whereabout and found her all alone in a sim. She told me that she was causing mischief the day before and got kidnapped in the midst of it. I went to her location and had difficulties to find and see her. I could locate her in a block of concrete hoovering a bit over the ground of the sim. The block was huge! I found out that it had 6 floors but only the 1st floor was filled – with cells.
It took some time to cheat into the block and then I also could see our kitty – locked up, chained to the wall and in a locked cell. I’d say she was pretty safe in there. Her kidnappers seemed to be very serious people (according to their profiles), not the kind of people you want to be caught by. I managed to reach into the cell and to unlock Kitty’s restraints with my master key. But how should I get her out of the cell?. I had to use a crowbar but finally succeeded to rescue Kitty (YAY) (Remark: I locked her cuffs and leashed her to me and luckily that made it possible to lure her out).

Later in the afternoon I met with Mistress Jenny. Lucy (MissLucyWales) was also present and we took her to Psi’s where Mistress and I spent some time first just to catch up. Later Faye (Boy Serenity) joind us too. We chatted amoung us and a bit in mainchat and we watched what was going on. Domina A. was there with quite some of her slaves, all tied in a hogtie. What a picture! Our 1 1/2 hour flew by way too quickly again.

We had a real family and friends night later. First Mistress Jenny and I played a skipee, Mistress with Angelique against Flo and me. It was a quite onesided game that Mistress and Angelique won easily. While we had been playing slave Melissa came online and Ann visited us and showed me a jukeox for our island after we had finished playing. The box can be helpful where there is no dj as you can request songs from a radio station with an interface. We will have to try that out.
Mistress Jenny and I went to Carnal Intentions with Flo and slave Melissa. We had quite some IMs and group chats open and I hardly saw the club room due to all opened windows. We chatted amoung each other, we had a chat group chat with Argi, we talked with Ann, Faye came by later, Alessi (Alessi20) joined us, Ebony was in IM … and we participated a bit in main chat. We left the club at around midnight, when slave Melissa had to leave. Mistress and I went to club Domme a Domme – and met Ebony and Baroness Capelo (as Rudolf the red nose rendeer) there. A family and friends night!

Tuesday, December 22nd, we had a relaxed time in the afternoon. Mistress and I went to Puerto Esclava first, then to club Domme a Domme where I enjoyed some time at Mistress feet. We caught up with our news and we relaxed. As Flo and Angelique were present and at home, we returned home as well and played a skipee as teams. Mistress had to leave by the time we had finished.

First thing at night was worshiping Mistress Jenny and getting my fix. Mistress knows how to keep me addicted to her *winks*. Flo was present and I took Mistress Jenny and her to “Let it Snow! A Winter Wonderland”, the Winter installation of Milly Sharple (read my simploring report here). We had fun there again.

Back to the more kinky entertainment. slave Melissa had come inworld and we went to Carnal Intentions with Flo and here. It was quite full and we got some entertainment, chatting amoung us and following the main chat (yes there was a bit of it, really). At flotime we returned home and as we didn’t had a Christmas tree at our porch at home yet – slave Melissa got that assignment.

On Saturday, December 19th, I met Mistress in the afternoon. We spent over an hour together and visited Puerto Esclava and Heavy Bondage Club. We had time enough to catch up and the talk and had a relaxed time.

I had a relaxed night that started with a skipee together with Angelique and Flo. We were just done when slave Melissa showed up. We went on a little tour over the clubs, visiting Carnal Intentions, Mesmerize Dungeon and Psi’s realm. I had fun teasing Flo and slave Melissa with her Anavision HUD, we talked and watched (well as musch as the slaves could watch *winks*). At flotime we returned home and I went roaming for a bit but nothing happened anymore.

Sunday, December 20th, I went visiting a gallery in the morning. In the afternoon I met with Mistress Jenny and Angelique. We went to Heavy Bondage Club where we caught up with our mutual news and had a look at the silent crowd. Unfortuantely I got interrupted by a longer phone call, but RL has always priority.
We returned home and played a few rounds of greedy, then Mistress and I had to leave to turn to our RL. But before we left, Mistress made me wear my cuffs and lesashed me in our skybox – she knows where to find me.

At night Mistress and I went to Carnal Intentions with Flo. I had contact to E as Mistress ordered me to stay in touch with that eveil woman (read here https://wp.me/psPPu-6rs). Long story short, Mistress sent me over to E to see her in person. And E made me strip and beat her rules in me leaving marks … on my body and in my mind. Then I was dismissed and returned home. slave Melissa was inworld in the meanwhile and she watched Mistress, Flo and me playing skippee. After the game Flo went off to bed and Mistress and I took slave Melissa to Mesmerize Dungeon for a bit before we retreated to our skybox. It felt good that Mistress took me over to our bed where we had some intimate time and where I could not only get my fix.

Art in Second Life 2021 (2) Nils Urqhart – A Winter Tale 2020

I got an invitation from Nils Urqhart to see his newest exhibition “A Winter Tale 2020” at his own gallery, the Art Gallery Rill’Arts. It is Nils Urqharts 100th (!) exhibtion in Second Life since 2010.

I came across Nils just a few weeks ago at La Maison d’Aneli joined exhibtion of December (read here). The Art Gallery Rill’Arts is a 3 story gallery in a classic building. Outside of the building is an ice rink and a Christmas market with quite some stands. At the stands you find examples of the artwork of 16 other artists that are active in Second Life, quite some of them have been covered in this blog already, namely: Abby Fairlady (Abby Burner), Adwehe, Arty, Bonach Ireton, Duna Gant, Hana Hoobinoo (CybeleMoon), Klaus Bereznyak, Mareea Farrasco, Marylin Breen, Natas Janus, Nils Urqhart, PrettyMiracle, Sisi Biedermann, viktorsavior, Vita Theas and Xirana Oximoxi. Some of the stands offer also gifts.

The Christmas Market next to Art Gallery Rill’Arts

“A Winter Tale 2020” is an exhibition with 50 Real Life pictures taken in the French mountains. They have never been showcased in Second Life so far. The ground floor of Art Gallery Rill’Arts is dedicated to pictures of forests and becks in Winter. The 2nd and 3rd floor are dedicated to pictures taken in higher Mountain areas. Some of them reminded me of the views I get when I drive ski in the alpes (well not this season though for known reasons).

Nils Urqhart (Paul Maurice in RL) is a French landscape photographer in RL. He takes his photos mainly in French Alps and other French mountains (Vosges, Jura, Bugey, Aubrac…). And even if I didn’t come across him so far yet, he has a lot of exhibitions in different SL galleries every year. Nils is in SL since December 2007. Since 2010, his photos have been on display year-round at Art gallery Rill’Arts. Nils (or Paul in RL) has an own website where you can purchase his pictures to decorate you RL home.

Nils was present during my visit on December 21st, 2020. He told me that the exhibition shall stay open to the public until March 2021. But the Christmas market will close on January 10th, hence you have to hurry to see it.
