Diary 2020 (162) November 20th/21st Quiet Days

When I came inworld Friday, November 20th, in the later afternoon, Mistress had already changed into a red dress. She had used the time waiting for me to change for our party at night. We had selected the theme “Red”: “The season is ahead so let us prepare ourselves with some red outfits …. the shinier the better .. or come as you are”
Mistress and I went to Puerto Esclava where we caught up with our mutual news and chatted about my green light, the AnaVision HUD, and the people around us. It was very relaxed. And while we talked I changed into something red and shiny myself.

November 20th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Puerto Esclava

At night we had our regular party and enjoyed starting our weekend appropriately. And we had fun as every Friday.

November 20th – Friday night party: Sara (SaraRandall), Starbright Wingstips, Kawaii Takeda, Grant (GrantCargill), Della Randt, Firefly Starlight, Talos (Talosborn), Claire (maddh4tt3r) (upper row), Mistress Jenny, Diomita, Diomita, Mistress Jenny, Claven, Baroness Capelo, Angelique, slave Flo, Virgo Babii

Saturday, November 21st, Mistress Jenny and I spent two hours together in the afternoon. We were at Puerto Esclava first, then at Heavy Bondage Club and finally at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club. At Heavy Bondage Club Mistress read a lot of profiles and she shared her thoughts about them with me. One woman caught her particular attention as her profile was quite well written and tempting. I won’t share the name *winks*

November 21st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club and at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club, the msysterious woman, and at home

We returned home and Mistress allowed me to lick her and afterwards she enjoyed the effect of her intoxinating juices and made me kiss her butt.

Our night was just the same as the last weeks. We played a skipee with Angelique and Flo and went to Mesmerize Dungeon afterwards. It was not relly crowded there and I brought up the subject that we need to change something. Mistress Jenny’s and my SL is fine as long we we play with each other and explore and emjoy our kinks. But we need more, more variety at night, maybe we should simple catch some playthings?. We didn’t stay long at Mesmerize Dungeon, instead we went home to our decking and discussed with Angelique and Fleo we want to spice up our nights. So far they both couldn’t think of something spontaneously. At least the issue is on the table now.

Art in Second Life 2020 (79) Of Bots and Blossoms by Ciottolina Xue

I got an invitation to visit “Of Bots and Blossoms” by Ciottolina Xue at “The 22 art space in Bellisseria“. The name Ciottolina rang a bell. I saw her objects in 2015 in the garden of Fallingwater, Inara Pey’s Second Life interpretation. Fallingwater or Kaufmann Residence is a house designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1935 in Pennsylvania. (read my post of 2015 here). But I didn’t come across her ever since – but now.

The exhibition “Of Bots and Blossoms” by Ciottolina Xue at “The 22 art space in Bellisseria” combines two different sets of virtual sculptures by the artist: a garden in which blossoms are associated with the ideas of birth, motherhood and nurturing; and a group of robots in scenes that may be, at the same time, somewhat funny and poetic.

My visit started in the garden. For this exhibtion Ricco Saenz and Randy Firebrand have changed the house that hosts the gallery and selected a one story building. This way Ciottolina’s sculptures in the garden are more visible and the view of the visitor isn’t too much distracted by the house itself. The scuplture “Of Blossoms” show blossoms and babies that are proctected by the blossom itself and by the love of their parents.

“Of Bots and Blossoms” by Ciottolina Xue at “The 22 art space in Bellisseria (1)

The bots that are shown in the exhibition poster can be found at the back entrance of “The 22 art space in Bellisseria“. They really look funny above the porch. They seem to have fun!

Inside of the house you find more bots, yet they are more serious. Two of them seem to be reading, but actually they look at paintings, one is playing with a balloon in the shape of a fish and one is painting the walls in the house. It is surprising that the bots and the sculptures in the garden are from one and the same artist. Cittolina obvioulsy tries out different styles. And although the two themes of the exhibtion “Of Bots and Blossoms” seem to be independant from each other they do fit well together.

“Of Bots and Blossoms” by Ciottolina Xue at “The 22 art space in Bellisseria (2)

Ciottolina Xue is an Italian artist and active in Second Life for over 12 years. Roses like those in this exhibtion are one of her favourite motives. You can purchase her art either in her inworld store [C8] CREAZIONI di CioTToLiNa here or at her marketplace store. And Ciottolina has also a flickr account.

The 22 Art space is a gallery in Bellisseria, the new continent with many Second Life prime members homes. The gallery is on one of these homes. It is owned and curated by Randy Firebrand and Ricco Saenz. The gallery’s name refers to the Modern Art Week in 1922 in Brazil, also known locally as “The 22 Week”.

Inara Pey, in who’s garden I came across Ciottolina Xue’s art wrote also a blogpost about “Of Bots and Blossoms” (read here). The exhibition will stay open until Feb 14th, 2021.
Many thanks to Randy Firebrand and Ricco Saenz for enabling this exhibition. I enjoyed my visit.

Addendum:
After publishing this post I had a conversation with Ciottolina Xue. She told me that the robots in the house are looking at the paintings of Mario Emanuele Degni, who had an own gallery in Second Life. He was a friend of Cittolina and sadly died of an heart attack last month. Hence the exhibtion is also in remembrance of him. And Ciottolina Xue’s recent and future work will include a piece of his art.

Diary 2020 (161) November 18th/19th In full control

Wednesday, November 18th, I was inworld around lunch time to prepare the afternoon with my property and I checked once again the room at Angel of Pain that I had selected for that afternoon – the tower of pain. There’s a bondage rack that fitted into my plans. I had a short conversation with Lucy (MissLucyWales) at home. Lucy is eager to get closer to us. Then I had to tend to my RL again.
In the afternoon I waited for Mistress at Angel of Pain sitting on the top of the tower of pain. When Mistress came inworld we caught up with our mutual news there, then I took her inside and supended her on the above mentioned rack.

November 18th: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at the tower of pain at Angel of Pain

I took out my strapon and fucked my property, first slowly and lovingly, later hard and demanding from behind. Mistress came hard and I licked her nectar from her pussy later, this way I got my fix.

November 18th: Diomita taking Mistress Jenny at the tower of pain at Angel of Pain

Time to expose my property *winks*. I took Mistress to club Domme a Domme, to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club and to Heavy Bondage Club. I teased Mistress with the AnaVision HUD, partly taking her vision or fading in a picture of us. And I put her into a tight hogtie. It feels very good having my owned Mistress helplessly at my feet. I got nice comments at all three places and I enjoyed control. Once again our time was up way to quickly. We returned home and I unlocked Mistress and took her hood off, so that she will be able to spent the night at my side with the family. I kept the AnaVision locked, so that I could tease her to remind her on my control.

November 18th: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at club Domme a Domme, BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club, Heavy Bondage Club and at home

We spent most of the night with Angelique and slave Flo and played a skipee as teams first. Mistress Jenny and Angelique won it quickly and easily, sometimes the cards are like that but it makes less fun. We went to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club next and stayed there until Angelique and slave Flo went off to bed. It was quite full and we got a little bit of entertainment as well, just as it should be. And Mistress could catch up with Angelique and slave Flo after she wasn’t inworld two nights.

November 18th: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club with Angelique and slave Flo / at home

I took Mistress home to the annex of our skybox and make her licking me. That crowned my day in control. Nothing can beat the tongue of my Mistress wife *winks*

For Thursday, November 19th, I had planned to try out a new gag we Mistress. We had seen it a few weeks before and both got it. The harness gag adds a HUD so that the vision is restricted by the straps that are party over the eyes. The gag offers different bits, a ball, a ring and a funnel and it has inbuilt couple animations. We hadn’t tried it out yet. But sometimes plans change. When I came inworld Thurday afternoon a bit early, I found two updates from DsR in my message, one was for the “Mistress wall” that we have installed in our loft skybox and one was for the “Mistress footstool”, which is one of Mistress Jenny’s favouirte furnitures. I updated the wall and all footstools and then rezzed both in our spare loft skybox. I wanted to try out the “Mistress wall” with Mistress Jenny.

It became an intense start into our afternoon! Mistress licked me in different poses and I had two orgasms. I think I have mentioned here already that nothing can beat the feeling of Mistress’ tongue – at least for me. I did enjoy it to the fullest! And I felt being in full control,

November 19th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny in our spare loft skybox

After I had recovered I made Mistress wear the above mentioned harness gag and I took her to puerto esclava and later to Heavy Bondage Club. I played with Mistress’ restrictions, I put her into a hogtie and I also used the AnaVision HUD again. Before we had to leave to tend to our RL I took Mistress Jenny home to our skybox and tested the harness gag. The animations are not bad, I admit … and I once again enjoyed Mistress’ tongue …. no, it didn’t had a third orgasm *winks*.

November 19th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at Puerto Esclava, at Heavy Bondage Club and at home – upper right picture shows Mistress Jenny’s vision (with the transparent picture on us on the right)

Again we had a relaxed night with Angelique and slave Flo. We played skipee as team first. It was a close and long game. While Angelique and Flo played, Mistress Jenny and I were more or less card holders. We went to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club after the Club and we stayed there all night long, even after first Flo and then Angelique had left. We had some banter and good enertainment.

November 19th: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club with Angelique and slave Flo

Back home I gave in into what I had to do latest the next day before the party. I unlocked everything on Mistress Jenny and returned control to her. I could tell from her behavior that night, that it was time to end the green light. I did enjoy it and I made the most of it.

Simploring 2020 (80) The Apartments

For my simploring tour on Sunday, November 8th, I picked “The Apartments” from scoop.it SL Destinations. The entry led me to a post of Maddy Gynoid “Simtipp: The Apartments” (in German) which I read before visiting myself.

The Apartments is built on a platform in the skies. Creator and owner is Paradox (Paradox Ivory). I saw Paradox’ sim “Tokyo Street and Umi” last year (read here). Tokyo Street was a big city installation and Umi was a Japanese village. And now she created “The Apartments” which is also somewhere in Japan, just in the future, yet it is no a scifi installation.

The Apartments – bird’s eye view

The Apartments is a quite smart installation of a big city, done with less than 5,000 prims. Zooming out you see the layout. A labyrinthine building extending over 2 floors surrounded by skyscarpers. Inside you feel like in a big Asian city. You enter the one building and get lost in hallways. The hallways are used as additional living space. At most entrance doors there’s stuff stored, be a bottle boxes, chairs, sofas, table football, garbage, a bike and many tools (amost a whole garage), etc.

Impressions of “The Apartments” (1) another bird’s eye view and around the landing point

You see a lot of cats. They occupy many chairs and couches and in particular the window benches. They seem to love seeing out of the window and watching the rain falling and all the raceways. From the windows you also see the traffic … flying cabs and flying police cars. If you have your sound turned on you often hear the sirens of the police cars.

Impressions of “The Apartments” (2) cats on window benches / in the gym

You will find almost everything within the labyrinth of hallways .. a fitness studio, a laundry, a sushi bar, lots of vending machines, parking, a gathering room and much more. There’s a lot of stuff to dicover and I’m sure I didn’t see everything.

Impressions of “The Apartments” (3) parking garage / hallways

There are also some fully furnished appartments that you can visit. They are packed with stuff, tiny appartments with large windows so that you are admist the city and have something to watch. The rain, the raceways and the traffic, the infrastructure and so many other things can be seen through the windows. For me it is one of the highlights of The Apartments that the city looks very busy.

Impressions of “The Apartments” (4) inside Apartments / public meeting point (lower left)

Appropos busy, during my visit there were a lot of other people visiting. Maddy wrote in his blog that The Apartments is listed in the SL desination guide and hence it gets a lot of traffic. The upside is that the hallways are not empty, the downside is that I had to wait with my pictures or that avatars ran into my picture when the textures had just cleared up.

Impressions of “The Apartments” (5) views outside into the city (left) / Sushi bar (right)

Hallways, endless rain and cats lots and lots of cats” – The Apartments is a place you shouldn’t miss when you enjoy simploring (like I do). Thank you Paradox (Paradox Ivory) for this great place and for sharing it publicly. Well done!

Diary 2020 (160) Back in control

Monday was a particular day in Second Life for me. Mistress had granted a green light beginning that day and I looked forward to make to most of it. I waited for Mistress at our loft skybox in the afternoon so that we would be undisturbed. After we got up with our mutual news, I had her change her hairstyle and I made her wear a dress. Then Mistress had to wear her cuffs, had to lock them and to hand me her keys. I admit that it excite me to have her this way after more than 6 weeks.

I took Mistress to Angel of Pain. I had checked the different rooms and the gear there the day before. Luckily I had worked out two alternatives as the room I had in mind for that afternoon was occupied.

November 16th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at the dungeon at Angel of Pain

I forst chained Mistress to a half cross and made her lick me – nothing compares to Mistress’ tongue! Next I used her with my strapon and confrimed that she’s my property fucking her hard. Finally I led Mistress a large bondage rack and licked her. She was still wet and this way I got a double portion of my fix.

November 16th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at the dungeon at Angel of Pain, at club Domme a Domme and at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club

I couldn’t help myself but I had to expose Mistress being at my feet and took her to club Domme a Domme and later to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club before Mistress and I had to leave to tend to our RL

I had a relaxed night after this exciting afternoon. When I came inworld again, Flo was instructing Alessi (Alessi20) how to play skipee. Angelique came by and we chatted while Flo was instructing. She was a real angel with little wings! After a while Alessi seemed to be fit enough for playing and hence we played a skipee together. Alessi got an idea how it works and will improve quickly for sure.
We went to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club afterwards for half an hour and had fun chatting and watching before Angelique and Flo went to bed. I myself said good night to Alessi and retreated to prepare something for the next day, for my next session with my property Mistress Jenny. I bought a vision restriction HUD and tested it. It offers quite a lot of restrictions, actually it uses a HUD and textures to provide the restriction and you can create your own textures or pictures, you can set the transparency, you can restrict the cam, take names and tags and loctations etc. I was very satisfied with it.

November 16th: Diomita and Angelique at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club with slave Flo and Alessi

When I left Mistress Jenny Monday afternoon, I asked her to wear the NGW Aphrodite Hood, the NGW Andromede corset and a catsuit for me for the next day. I made a texture for the new HUD showing me and Mistress Jenny from a previous green light and when I came inworld on Tuesday, November 17th, in the afternoon, Mistress was aiting for me wearing her hood, corset and catsuit. I took her to our loft and bought the restriction HUD for her and uploaded the prepared texture to it. Then I went to club Domme a Domme with my property.

November 17th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at home and at club Domme a Domme, upper right shows the originat NGW vision restriction of Mistress Jenny, lower left shows the restriction I created for her with the semi-transparent picture of us

We spent quite some time at club Domme a Domme and I exercised my control, restricing Mistress’ vision and her cam. And I knew how it looked and I could imagine how it feels. Being unable to cam around, and being refrained from a clear view makes you feel helpless, exactly what I wanted for my property.

I took Mistress to Angel of Pain next. That afternoon the room I wanted to use, the loft, was free. I fiexed Mistress Jenny on a rack and made her lick me. She’s such a good sub *sighs*. To make it worse for her I sat on body after my orgasm and rubbed myself to a second orgasm while Mistress had to watch helplessly. I love being in control.

November 17th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at the loft at Angel of Pain

For the remaining time of our afternoon together I took Mistress to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club. Lucy (MissLucyWales) was there and I chatted with her for a bit (Mistress was restricted from IM *grins*). I can tell that Mistress at my feet did attract some more attention as I got one more IM from another guest.

November 17th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club with Lucy

Time flies when you have fun and our time was over. Mistress had to leave to tend to her RL and she wasn’t inworld at night again.

My night was again relaxed after that exciting afternoon. I played skipee with Angelique, slave Flo and Alessi. The game did take quite long and when we had finished slave Flo went to bed. Angelique and I went to BDSM Lifstyle Swingers Club with Alessi for half an hour and went off to bed at midnight.

And that’s it about these two days in control

Art in Second Life 2020 (78) Behind The Door by DixMix Source

On Saturday, November 21st, DixMix Source opened an exhibtion with his own art in room Amalfia at DixMix Gallery.

Before entering you get an idea of the title of the exhibtion with two unhinged doors at the entrance of the room.

The room is held in cool blue tones. As far as I could tell the raw pictures were taken at Second life. They all a bit blurred and hazy so that the original picture appears dimly. Exploring the pictures tempts the spectator to get deeper into the picture and figure out more details or to add more details from own thoughts. What is common is a door. You find a door of different size in every picture, sometimes you can see a person in the door. That might be the door that allows you to see behind, to get the details, who knows?

Impressions of “Behind The Door” by DixMix Source

DixMix Source is from Brussels Belgium and is in Second Life for almost 14 years. He always had a gallery. He describes himself as “artist, photographer, director, musician and more”

Thank you Dixmix for providing and curating the DixMix Gallery, thank you Megan for building it and for contributing at it. I like your art and enjoyed my visit.
The exhibition “Behind The Door” by DixMix Source will stay open until the end of 2020

Diary 2020 (159) November 14th/15th A relaxed weekend

Saturday, November 14th, I had some time alone in Second Life as Mistress was prevented from coming inworld during the day. I went visiting a gallery in the morning and I went on a simploring tout in the afternoon. I found time to hop through the usual clubs but without Mistress it was quite boring, I admit. Nothing really happened, in particular nothing to report in here.

At night, slave Flo was present and after I had caught up with Mistress we went seeing and played a skipee. It was a nice game as it was close and it took a while too. Alessi (Alessi20) had joined us and watched our play. We went to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club with slave Flo and Alessi after the game and stayed there for about 30 minutes, reading profiles, talking and enjoying eye candy. At flotime we returned home and Mistress went off to bed as she had an early start the next day. I went roaming again … and again nothing to report for in here.

November 14th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club with slave Flo and Alessi / Diomita at club DeLust

Sunday, November 15th, Mistress was prevented from coming inworld during the day again. I was inworld in the morning for a bit, but it was simply boring without Mistress or anybody of our family around. After half an hour I logged off again and returned in the later morning for a simploring tour. And that simploring tour was great and enjoyable. I spent most of my free time in the afternoon with writing the simploring reports of Saturday and Sunday and came back inworld early at night to roam a bit through the clubs. I went to club DeLust, to Puerto Esclava, to Psi’s realm and to Heavy Bondage Club. Besides some unsolicited IMs nothing happened – I just looked good *winks*

November 15th: Diomita at club DeLust and at Psi’s realm

To make the most of my time I went to Angel of Pain to prepare my next green light, as Mistress had announced a green light for the next week and I had to be prepared where to take her and what to do with my property.

When I returned home, Angelique and Flo were present and playing cards. We decided to have a game of greedy while waiting for Mistress Jenny. Alessi (Alessi20) joined us. After the game Mistress Jenny showed up and after all the hugs we decided to have another game of greedy before clubbing.

November 15th: Mistress Jenny, Diomita and Angelique with slave Flo, Alessi and Lucy at home and at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers club

We went to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club and it turned out to be a fun night there. We had a group chat amoung us and had fun making remarks about a latex doll, who must have come directly from a comic strip to the club. Lucy (MissLucyWales) joined us. We stayed more than an hour at the club and chatted and enjoyed and were also just a bit silly.

Backflash November 2020 – My first SL video / Friday (November 1st / 8th, 2014)

In the “Backflash” series I select an old entry once a month and present it here. This way I force myself to browse in the archive and to fresh up a few of the many memories. For our readers the new series shall provide an insight into our Second Life without reading back the many posts and it might also give reason to browse through the archives.
For November 2020 I selected two posts from November 2014. 6 years ago I made my first short videos in Second Life. They document our life at this time. Looking at the 2 videos – I should make a video again! But have a look yourself….

My first SL video (Nov 1st, 2014)

I’ve seen some videos taken in SL lately and today with a bit extra time, I tried to take my first video in Second Life. Well, I’m not very excited with the result so far but I see it as a challenge to improve. At least now I know about the basics! And to improve I will need a 3D mouse to take videos smoother. Anway, here it is: My first SL Video

Enjoy!

Friday (Nov 8th, 2014)

Seems as if I found a new addiction – taking videos in SL. This is already my 2nd video and I selected a Friday dance night to take this one. It is great to save also some movies for our diary

Enjoy!

Diary 2020 (158) November 12th/13th A visit to the teddies at Ralf’s Dark Paradise

Thursday, November 12th, I met Mistress in the afternoon at home and we caught up quickly with our mutal news. Mistress intended to ensure that I get addicted toher and to my fix and took me over to her seat. Yes, I needed it. Did it work? Of course it did, steadily I get deeper and deeper into submission to her (is that possible?). Anyway, it was a nice start into this day inworld.

We went to our house where Ebony and Lucy (MissLucyWales) had cleaned. The house was clean but what about our boots? Mistress and I, both got our boots cleaned and some shine added. Lucy had to leave into her RL though afterwards. We took Ebony to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club to show our shiny boots and spent half an hour there, then it was time for us to tend to our RL for a bit.

November 12th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home / at home with Ebony and Lucy / at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club with Ebony

We had a varied night. Angelique, slave Flo and Alessi (Alessi20) were at home. We first played a greedy together. Then we went to Ralf’s Dark Paradise, a sim that we know from our first years in Second Life (read the post of 2010 here). Great that it still exists! There’s a castle with funny teddies that great fresh slave meat and process it in ther dungeon. It is well scripted and Mistress and I we both had a lot of fun there in our early years. For Alessi that was all new and we brought her near the teddies and she got processed. Unfortunately she only go the short tour (what specific treatement you get is random). Anyway we had fun watching.

November 12th: Mistress Jenny, Diomita and Angelique with slave Flo and Alessi at home, at Ralf’s Dark Paradise and at Mesmerize Dungeon

After this tour we went to Mesmerize Dungeon for a while to wind down before Angelique and then Flo had to leave for bed. Mistress Jenny and I went to Puerto Esclava for another 30 minutes before we called it a night ourselves.

Friday afternoon, Mistress Jenny and I had an hour together, that we spent at Puerto Esclava and BDSM Lifestyle Club. We talked, read profiles and enjoyed. I changed into something white while we were at Puerto Esclava. Later, when we returned home, Mistress also changed into a white dress before she left to tend to her RL.

November 13th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Puerto Esclava and at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club

Why white? Because we had set the theme for our Friday night party: “The Winter is coming but so far we still enjoy quite warm weather. Let us scare off Winter and come in something white, no need for snow then … or come as you are of course”.

November 13th – Friday night party: slave Flo, Diomita, Mistress Jenny, Alessi20, Angelique, Ebony MAssey, Sarah Fhang, vero Hartmann (upper row), Starbright Wingtips, Sara (SaraRandall), Alaunirra (ams684), Claire (maddh4tt3r), Della Randt, Baroness Capelo, Virgo Babii (lower row)

Art in Second Life 2020 (77) MindScape3D

After publishing my post about “Hexagonia” by Amita Duranjaya (read here) I had a chat with Amita and she invited me to visit interstellART, a sim dedicated to the (cyber-)arts, owned and curated by her.

I had never heard of interstellART before but from the information notecards that I got from Asmita I can tell that the sim has several levels full of art and there’s really a lot to see. For my fist visit I decided to see the 3rd level, a landscape-terrain used for special exhibitions. Right now and until the end of 2020 the special exhibtion is “MindScape”, a collaborative project initiated by Asmita Duranjaya. 18 artists have contributed 3D-installations or 2D-pictures and visualize their imagination of the topic MindScape. I visited MindScape3D.

MindScape3D is related to brain research and what can refer to the human mind, how to develop, inspire and care for or manipulate it. 11 artists have created 3D artwork referring to the topic by adding his or her idea, be it more realistic-physical or more mental or philosophical abstract. The 11 artists are: Shenn Coleman, iSkye Silverweb, June Clavenham, Claude Belgar, Kyoko Furse-Barzane (Samara Barzane), Hayden, Melodie Heart (mariemadeleine38), Giselle Seeker (brightlyshyne), Art Oluja (Artistik Oluja), Betty Tureaud and Asmita Duranjaya herself.

The 3D area is a moon landscape that was designed by ShennColeman. Upon landing I met Larita (asmitaduranjaya1), who made writing this report about my visit to MindScape3D way easier:
Welcome at interstellART and the MindScape-project. MindScape is a collaborative art-project initiated by Asmita Duranjaya, curator and artist on this sim interstellART (Nice Atoll). 19 artists have contributed 3D-installations or 2D-pictures to visualize their imagination of the topic MindScape. I am a guide-robot and will lead you through the area with the 3D-art-installatons for an overview.
Each installation has a board with further information, which you can study after the tour on your own.
Please follow me now.

I followed her. There’s a path that lead along the different installation. It starts with the 3D area itself. I use the text from my robot guide Larita along with my pictures for this report.

My robot guide Larita (asmitaduranjaya1)

Our first artist is Shenn Coleman, who has constructed the “Brain-Dome” for this moon-area. He says: “Sharing to reach beyond the boundaries of our imagination is always a fantastic adventure. I like to create to learn and to share, and SL is a wonderful way to do that and i like to explore imaginative ways.
This dome was an attempt to visually represent the function and the genesis of the thoughts in our brain and maybe also to invite other forms of intelligence to come into contact with our human neurons.”

Our next spot is the installation by Danish artist Betty Tureaud. She says: “In computer science, artificial intelligence (AI), sometimes called machine intelligence, is intelligence demonstrated by machines, in contrast to the natural intelligence displayed by humans. In my art installation I combine AI whith Neuralink, a cable direct into the brain to make a superhuman, a cyborg, where artificial intelligence AI is combined with human intelligence.”
This is an interactive sculpture with a dance-animation, if you sit on it. Jump on it and try it after the tour.

French artist Claude Belgar says: “The sculpture “The Mind Is Free” reflects the freedom of traveling the ocean, using only the natural elements to wander across. The vehicles, ships and a plane refuge from being captured in an abstract head, so it symbolises the flow of mental imaginations – the mind is free.”
You can enter the crater to have a closer look when you come back after the tour.

Artist Kyoko presents her “BLOOD WALL :: Man’s Mind Holocaust-Killing Fields-Hiroshima. I am of the belief that our future will bring many new and wondrous creations, but in the end we will still be capable of turning on each other because of perceived differences or agendas. The 3 parts of this work represent three attempts to solve a problem. All resulting in multiple deaths. In each case methodical and intended.

This MindScape-version of the RL nano-graphic novel “The Pool”, written by German author M. K. Iwoleit/Hayden in SL, presents an audio-version in English and German and visitors can listen to the nano-story by clicking the specific keyboard. The installation contains also a virtual book-version. The English version of the human is spoken by Dodge Threebeards, the robot is an artificially produced voice. The German version is spoken by Dick H. G. Read more on the nc and return to the spot after the tour to listen.
Remark: The installation at MindScape3D was created by Asmita Duranjaya. The ambient etude as a background music has been composed and recorded by Hayden who is interested and active in several kinds of artistic expression.

Artist Giselle Seeker has mystic mind-experiences. She says: “When the mind is at rest, the creative processes can flow more freely with daily stressors and distractions put to rest, as the brain repairs and restores exhausted brain cells. This allows for brain waves to flow more freely with less disruptions in the electro-neurological processes. It also seems to become more aware and open to things of the Spiritual nature. These may or may not be proven by Science, and may not be the proper terminology, but these have been my own observations and experiences in my own lifetime.”
Enter the crater after the tour.

“The Clover Plant” of artist Melodie Heart refers to the idea, that Shenn’s brain has occupied a dead star and is going to fill it with new life. Melodie says: “Replant a desolate planet with natural seeds. Ban genetically modified organisms, reduce the use of pesticides”. Make it a better world. Study the installation when returning after the tour.

Artist iSkye Silverweb says: “For most people, this is a world full of sound: birdsong, voices, engines, and music. MindScape is a perfect project to demonstrate just a little bit of the experience I have, navigating in a silent world. For me and others who are deaf like me, the world is filled with seeing and feeling. With this installation you may get a taste of how people living in a world without sound come to see the rhythms of life. We can “see” many of the sounds that you hear.”

The statement of artist June Clavenham is: “‘State of Mind’ intends to be a visual representation of how the thoughts we choose to entertain in our minds affect our emotions, the way we perceive our realitiy, the way we interact with others, and in general, all of our being and our lives.”
Enjoy this sculpture after the tour.

Artist Asmita Duranjaya says: “After surviving mankind, robots will start to construct their own culture by taking over forms of expression of the HipHop-culture e.g., visually, sonically and kinetically. Culture is the mental shape of beings and the result of mental efforts. No culture without mind. And now listen to the rapper TrippLee and his rap “Robot” or/and dance with the robots.” Enjoy it later.

Artist Art Oluja/Littlewing says: “‘Aural Blossoms’ is an visual-audio experiment in which I’ve played with a collage of colourful textures, incorporating kaleidescope patterns I created out of second life snapshots as well as music visualization wave patterns produced in the iOS beta app ‘Endlesss.’ The idea is to portray the sensation of music that blossoms in your headspace, evoking a landscape of emotion as you listen to different sounds that guide your mood.” Read more on the notecard and interact with the sculpture, when you return for an individual tour.

That was our tour to get an overview over the MindScape-exhibition in the 3D-area. I hope you have enjoyed the tour and if so we would be glad about a small donation.
Thank you and have a good time.

I could add a lot more as some of the mentioned notecards contain a lot more information about the artists and about their work. But on one side this entry would become way too long and on the other side, you can go there yourself and read what you’re interested in. In my personal opinion the showcased art did express a lot more to me knowing the thoughts of the artists, for example “Visible Rhythms” being created by a deaf artist.

There’s also a lot more information on the web and the links are provided at the landing spot. I looked up a website about CyberArt: “Introduction, how to define and produce it”.

Thank you Asmita Duranjaya for this special exhibtion MindScape3D and for pointing it out to me. And thank you for providing the space for the arts and your passion for it.
