Sunday, May 15th, Milena Carbone opened a new exhibtion named “Masks” in the forest hall at her own gallery, The Carbone Studio.

Milena wrotes: “I wanted to explore our relationship to the mask, an object that dates back to the beginnings of mankind and that has gradually taken a prominent place in our postmodern lives.” In her exhibition she avoided the use of gasmasks and medical masks as they represent the two main crises in the world in this day and age. What is more important for her is to ask the question of the masks that we do not see as masks: What hides our sight, our anxieties, our fears, our disgusts, what hides the real that we do not want to see?

The exhibition consists of nine pictures. Milena deals in them with three aspects of hiding feelings and emotions, of hiding our real self: Mascara, Masquerade and Masks. Milena always combines text and pictures in her artwork. At the entrance of the exhibtion you find the texts to these three aspects, one is a quote from Bansky. I strongly recommend reading the texts, they are part of Milena’s artwork.

Milena published the texts also on her website in a post about “Masks”.
The pictures focus on the ways we hide ourselves. The longer you look at them the more you begin trying to reveal what is behind the facade, you want to understand, to get to the core, but you can’t. You can only see at the forehead, you can never see inside. Although Milena’s pictures are full of details, they also are kind of minimalistic as there’s no second theme, no second layer, nothing else that distracts the view of the spectator.

Milena Carbone (mylena1992) is a French artist and is in Second Life since mid 2019. She discovered its artistic potential and since then has devoted all her free time to creation, associating, as in real life, images and texts: “Milena Carbone is a fiction in which, as in any artistic work, biographical and imaginary elements are mixed.” Her creative process is iterative: some of her images inspire her stories and these stories modify the development of the image, which itself transforms the story.
Milena has an own gallery, the Carbone Studio and she has a bookstore @ Noir’Wen City.

Diary 2022 (62) May 2nd/3rd When Mistress Jenny is away (1)

Monday, May 2nd, I got a message that Mistress Jenny arrived safely at her vacation destination. I was inworld at night and it became a nice, varied and busy night. slave Lily was present and slave Holly came inworld just a few minutes after myself. We first inspected slave Holly’s plot and the puddle that Kitty had left for her. Then I took slave Lily (Lily Bloodrose) and slave Holly to ur sun terrace – and slave Luci (Luci Glendale) joined us there. It was the perfect moment to get the slaves into their May outfit, that consists a catsuit, ankle ballet boots, a chastity belt, the full vixen set, RR Deluxe gag with blindfold and the AnaVision HUD. Each slave gets another colour. Flo got white and Alessi red. For slave Luci I picked navy blue and for slave Lily pink. slave Holly needed a catsuit and I got the full set of marine’s catsuits for her and finally decided for a light transparent red for slave Holly.

slave Lily had to leave for bed and I played a round of skipee with slave Luci and slave Holly. After the game slave Luci left for bed and I took slave Holly with me to Carnal Intentions. I restricted her properly so that she could enjoy looking at me. slave Zado came inworld and that fitted well as I could unlock her and give her the instructions for May.
I returned home with slave Holly as I had to pee …… someone has missed that *winks*
My night ended relaxed sitting with slave Holly at our sun terrace.

May 2nd: Diomita with slave Holly at Carnal Intentions and at home

Tuesday, May 3rd, I visited a gallery in the afternoon. My night was different yet enjoyable. First I played 2 rounds of skipee with Flo. I took her with me to our decking after the game and we just chatted 1:1 almost until Flo had to leave. slave Holly came inworld and after saying hello Flo went off to bed and slave Holly took her place at my feet.
I chatted with Holly for quite a while. Then I realized that slave Holly had forgot to remind me of something – and I had given her clear instructions. There, I found a reason to take slave Holly with me to our dungeon. I fixed her on the whip post and used the flogger on her butt until it shined red. After that little session I took Holly with me to Puerto Esclava.

We continued talking with each other. It was already late, yet I didn’t want to go to bed already. Instead I took slave Holly with me to our house and made the most of our 1:1 time allowing her to lick me to a nice and satisfying orgasm

Art in Second Life 2022 (46) Garden by Cica Ghost

Tuesday, May 17th, Cica Ghost opened a new installation named “Garden“: “Happiness is a butterfly in my garden.“

As usual with Cica’s installation you shall use shared environment, set advanced lighting and activate shadows from sun/moon and projectors. Theenvironment settings are part of Cica’s art. For “Garden” she selected a very summerly and “hot” environment with just a few fair-weather clouds.

Garden is a happy place. It is a place to get to other thoughts, to wind down and to enjoy. Cica’s worlds are always huge, the daisies, the clover and the grass are high as trees compared to humans in Second Life. It is a real thicket, everything is green and blooming, just lovely!

The first animals I came across was a group of three cats, not hided but well exposed *winks*. Thank you, Cica. The three cats look at a comparably small caterpillar. And as in every garden there are pots or other containers used for decoration or plants.

Other animals in Cica’s Garden are butterflies, snail and ants. You can purchase the butterflies at the garden. There’s a turned over pot used as a little on site store. These butterflies are not flying around, They are static but flapping wings.
Another typical tool you need in a garden is a ladder (at least with these high flowers *winks*). A huge ladder is kind of a landmark in Cica’s Garden.

It is fun to explore Cica’s Garden. You find nice scenes with happy inhabitants and it is just a joy to watch. I didn’t find any places to sit and watch though this time. But I might have been not looking out enough. What I did find is a place to dance and I tried it out. I liked in particular a scene were the ants are collaborating to  bend down a flower. Two others ants watch three ants working – just like in RL!

Did I mention the butterflies? They are also quite human, standing around flapping their wings or flying and enjoying the scene. With the fresh Summer colours, all the green, the lovely animals, and the contagious fun they have, Garden is a really happy place.

If you’re not in a happy mood, visit Cica’s Garden. It will make you smile! I enjoyed my short visit a lot and returned with a smile in my face.

Diary 2022 (61a) April 30th slave Holly’s 9+1 years in SL

slave Holly wrote a blogpost about her 10th rez day anniversary, that was also her 1st collaring anniversary. This way you get another view on the same event, a very personal view as slave Holly also reflects her year with us. So here it is ….

slave Holly’s 9+1 years in SL

Ten years in SL and yet, the past year, since collared by Mistress Jenny and Mistress Diomita, has changed the way I feel about SL.
I won’t talk about everything that has happened – Mistress Diomita does that far better in the blog than I ever could. Some of my own feelings that could never be captured in a blog… though I do try to share when I can!

A family friend (Miss Dely) summed it up well with “slave’s 9 years + 1 year anniversary”. Life in SL was good, though I often wandered a little lost until Mistresses collared me – every day now is something special. I often say to Mistress Jenny that SL is and should be fun… every RL-day I look forward to logging in and spending time with Mistresses – whatever SL may bring.
I felt something special the first time I handed my keys to Mistress Diomita and surrendered myself for the first time. This was a little before Mistresses decided to collar me. I gave my submission and surrendered my freedom before being collared and haven’t looked back since. A SL without Mistresses now seems a distant memory.

Mistress Diomita has ‘super-powers’ and, always seems to find something in me I haven’t felt before – a brief glimpse in one direction and I am addicted to Mistress Diomita in an instant.
Mistress Jenny – the one that is “really in-charge”, “the one that always has the final say”, the one I still find ‘mysterious’…
My world has become what Mistresses choose it to be and I am truly happy and feel the love that they give… “the more Mistresses take the more they give”

I adore the gifts Mistresses gave on my 10th rez-day and my 1st collaring anniversary. I can gaze at the wall in my home within Mistresses’ world and look back with submission, adoration, worship, and affection at times past and with a view to a future and my still growing devotion to Mistress Jenny and Mistress Diomita.
I don’t have a choice, Mistresses intend… no will, (I hope) keep this slave forever.

‘My love Always and Forever, Mistress Jenny and Mistress Diomita’, unconditional and never ending…

P.S.
I cannot end this without a few words to the rest of the family – Sis (hello) Kitty always getting in trouble yet having fun, Sis Flo for her wit and devotion, Alessi for the hugs and the help with our SL chores and, both for the occasional game of Skipee!!!! One final mention to Ebony – the one that scares me and teases me but also the one to recognise how much this little family means to me and her support me (though Ebony would probably never admit it).

Saturday, April 30th, Mistress and I met slave Holly in the later morning. I found a picture from slave Holly in my messages showing her in her own room on her 10th rez day. She waited with the picture until the rez day showed in her profile.

April 30th: slave Holly 10 years in Second Life

We picked up slave Holly at her plot and took her to Carnal Intentions and later to Puerto Esclava. Puerto Esclava is a particular for slave Holly as she met us there, a change in her life. Our as Dely (krysbia) expressed it the day before at our party: “Congratulations to your 9+1 anniversary slave Holly”.

Flo came inworld but didn’t want to join us. She was busy at home installing her collaring day gift for slave Holly. She had troubles as she was trying to hang a picture in Holly’s room … and the door closed again and again locking her inside. I had to come and to rescue her. Finally we all returned home and looked at Flo’s present – very thoughtful!!

We had a skipee night with Flo and slave Alessi. We played two games and both were close. Each team won one game. It was already close to midnight when we finished and hence we all retreated afterwards. Mistress Jenny and I set together a few minutes before we went off to bed. Mistress would leave for a two week vacation the next and just in case that we might miss each other Sunday, we said already good bye.

Sunday, May 1st, I met with Mistress shortly after lunch time. Mistress was at Holly’s plot and showed me what Kitty had left there – a puddle! That was one of her favourite mischiefs many years ago. If you click the puddle you get a message in main chat: “Why is the floor so damp? Oh, could this be the bucket? Maybe it has a leak. Or maybe someone has poor aim?“

Mistress and I went to Puerto Esclava and chatted for about an hour, about the next two weeks and about her vacation and plans. Of course we got also IMs … one came from a guy who was outstanding ugly. He was naked and his penis and balls looked simple too big and not fitting. Mistress said to me “my god those things stuck at the front of his body look all wrong”.
Anyway …. after more than 14 years in Second Life we still can laugh getting IMs like this:

Then we returned home and Mistress logged off in my arms .. ready to have a hopefully great vacation.

At night I played two rounds of skipee with Flo. We were almost finished when Alessi joined us. I took them both to Psi’s realm and we talked about the May outfit. Flo left for bed soon after and it became quiet at Psi’s realm. I took Alessi to club DeLust and we chatted among us. Dana (Dana Darkwatch) joined us and both decorated me well.

Simploring 2022 (7) Grauland May 2022

Sunday, May 15th, I had some time in the later morning and went simploring. I read in Susann DeCuir’s blog “Mein Zweites Leben” that Grauland has been refurbished once again (Simtipp: Grauland wurde umgebaut (Adult) in German).

I have visited Grauland in 2019 the first time (read here), three times in 2020 (read here, here and here) and twice in 2021, in April 2021 (read here), in November 2021 (read here) and in January 2022 (read here). And every time it was different. Each redesign was worth a visit, as is this one!

Grauland is an adult sim owned by JimGarand. Jim owns a shop for poses, the M-1 Art Poses. The landing at Grauland is in front of a little shop for Jim’s poses. Jim’s former iterations of Grauland were often filled with a lot of art objects. This time the architecture and design of Grauland is one main focus.

Right upon landing you have spectacular views. The sim is surrounded by high mountains and spatially confined by high rocks on two sides. A path leads from the landing along a waterfall, over a bridge and under an aqueduct to a modern villa. The aqueduct leads the water of another waterfall over several segments down into the sea. The modern villa is for sure one of the highlights of Grauland in May 2022. From here you have a good view on the whole sim as well as on a field of menhirs, the only art object of this iteration of Grauland.

I continued my simploring tour and my woalk along the path. It led me to a large parking area and a festival area with a huge stage and stands, For sure a place to watch great concerts.

Close to the parking and the festival area you find a camping side, the place where festival visitors stay overnight, where they celebrate before and after the event. You should try out the seats there, they offer nice and unique poses for celebrations. Quite realitic are the portable toilets, the public showers and the garbage tons. There’s really all you need for a festival.

Next to the festival area is the beach and it is a fun beach with a large playground. The main attraction at the beach is a huge orange King Kong figure with a skid that leads from King Kong’s chest down to the beach. You can slide down actually (and I did). A more quiet area is at the end of the natural bay where a pier reaches out to the bottom of another waterfall. You can sit there and watch the world go by. Or you face the other direction and look over the festival area, the beach and the long aqueduct.

As I wrote in the beginning of my simploring report, it is the desgin, the waterfalls, the aqueduct, the villa and the festival area that makes Grauland May 2022 so outstanding. In my personal opinion that is art. Thank you Jim, you made another great iteration of Grauland and I enjoyed my visit a lot.

Close to the beach you find some water fun. A skid and several tubes and inflatable mattresses float in the sea. Spontaneously I stripped (it is an adult homestead) and tried them out. I had fun posing.

Thursday, April 28th, Mistress and I met in the afternoon. We went to club Domme a Domme and caught up with our mutual news there. slave Luci joined us there. We just had some time together and didn’t stay very long. Mistress offered me to get my fix and I never reject her wishes, in particular this wish.
Back home Mistress allowed me to lick her and it just felt good and right. Thank you, Mistress. Then we both returned into our RL.

April 28th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme with slave Luci and at home

At night I first payed a skipee with slave Lily against Flo and slave Luci. Mistress Jenny joined us at the game table and later also slave Holly came inworld. slave Lily had to leave for bed and we, Mistress jenny, Flo, slave Luci, slave Holly and I played another round. Then we went to our decking and I rezzed two sybians. Mistress Jenny, Flo and I watched slave Luci and slave Holly riding the toys.

After slave Holly had her (well deserved) orgasm, we went to Lochme and Carnal to wind down and to relax.

April 28th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with Flo, slave Luci and slave Holly at home, at Lochme and at Carnal Intentions

We returned home and Mistress Jenny and I retreated to our skybox. Mistress surprised me by unlocking my cuffs and taking them off. Mistress was preparing her next vacation and wanted me fully unrestricted and self-controlled. I admit, I felt naked. I am used to wearing the cuffs and to being vulnerable.
Mistress and I ended the day with a dance on our skbox rooftop.

Friday, April 29th, Mistress Jenny and I caught up with our news at club Domme de Domme in the afternoon. slave Luci joined us there. We had allowed all slaves to take off their doll masks and their latex hair the night before and to wear what they want. The reason behind it was the end of the month on one side and the theme that we had selected for our Friday night party:
“It’s Friday again and early Summer is around the corner. Here in SL we can have full Summer already. Get into your swimsuit or bikini and your flip flops and join our party – or come as you are (even naked). DJ Virgo is spinning the tunes for us.”
slave Luci had already changed and I teased with the remark that I didn’t recognize her. Mistress asked me to add some decoration for the party, she proposed surf boards. I looked at the marketplace and bought a few simple surf boards. Then we went home and began to decorate the dance floor.

slave Alessi, still in her doll slave outfit, joined us at home and watched us decorating. After decorating the dance flor we went to slave Holly’s room and prepard her present for her 10th rez day and 1st collaring anniversary the next day, April 30th. Thus the party at night is also kind of her rez day and collaring day party. Mistress cut out a plot around slave Holly’s room with a fence and I built a path to the plot. We added a sign “slave Holly’s Heaven” and planted some flowers and pants within the fence. Finally I added a slideshow in her room with over 100 pictures of her first year with us.
And just when we were done with our preparations …. slave Holly came inworld. She was overwhelmed and speechless. I think we made the right presents.

At night we gathered at the games tables and chatted. Time flew by quickly and we had no time for skipee anymore and went to the dancefloor. We had a great party once again – all for slave Holly *winks*. We had a quite big crowd and our sim was full for some time. YAY, we like that.

Art in Second Life 2022 (45) “Waterfalls” by Nils Urqhart @ The Uzine gallery “L’autre monde”

Just before yesterday my post about Nils Urqhart’s exhibition “The Forgotten Worlds” at United Artist of SL in the Galerie Principale has been published (read my blogpost here).  I wrote that Nils has a lot of exhibitions in different SL galleries and I got another invitation to see “Waterfalls” by Nils Urqhart. This exhibtion is at a place named “The Uzine”.
“The Uzine is open again. Located on the rooftops of London, The Uzine offers a permanent exhibition of photographs. And if you go through the gateway you will go to the gallery “L’autre monde” (the other world)”
Nils Uqhart’s exhibtion is at the gallery “L’autre monde”. The Uzine is group owned, the group was found by Filip Odriscoll.

The gallery “L’autre monde” is quite outstanding. It is embedded in a scene of ruins. The wreck of an old coach is in one corner. The walls offer some cosy corners to sit and one roof is used as a party area. The walls offer more room than you would think on a first glance. In total the exhibition compromises 15 pictures.

As each picture has an own wall, often even an own corner, it can develop a stronger impression. And each of the waterfalls is very different. Nils managed to catch unique places and unique moments with his camera. In some pictures the water looks blue, in others white and in one picture it even looks green. And the pictures are not processed or manipulated (as far as I can tell).

Quite close to where you land you see another poster for “Waterfalls” (see the picture above). Clicking this poster provides a short bio of Nils and a list of his current exhibitions.

Nils Urqhart (Paul Maurice in RL) is a French photographer in RL. He takes his photos mainly in French Alps and other French mountains (Vosges, Jura, Bugey, Aubrac…). Nils has a lot of exhibitions in different SL galleries every year.
Nils is in SL since December 2007. Since 2010, his photos have been on display year-round at Art gallery Rill’Arts. Nils (or Paul in RL) has an own website where you can purchase his pictures to decorate you RL home.

Nils Urqhart is the creator of the RL Photo Festival Helvellyn, the Helvellyn Christmas Market and the Helvellyn Summer Fair – all three are annual artistic events. There are quite some potential contact opportunities besides his webpage: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

I like Nils Urqhart (Paul Maurice) RL pictures. They are kind of a connecting element between RL and SL. With “Waterfalls” you visit a “real” exhibtion in a virtual environment. And I also like the gallery, a great place to present pictures! Thank you Filip Odriscoll and to anyone involved for providing this space for the arts.

Tuesday, April 26th, Mistress Jenny and I had a quite intense time in the afternoon. Mistress took me to club Domme a Domme and later to club DeLust. Why was it intense? We talked together the whole time. I can’t really tell what was going on around us as I was looking at us all the time. Mistress explained her intentions to me, our relation with Mistress in charge gets stronger and clearer and she is very content with it. She can give me leeway and can put me in back my place nonetheless whenever she desires it. I can just report about my perception – and for me it was an intense afternoon.

We had a really relaxed night. First we played two rounds of skipee with Flo and when we had finally finished slave Holly was inworld. We took flo and slave Holly to Lochme with us and stayed there maybe 15 minutes, then Flo went off to bed. As there was nothing really going on at Lochme, we moved on to club DeLust again. Mistress and I had fun teasing slave Holly and Holly made some nice pictures, she even made a short video. But there was not going on anything at club DeLust as well and we didn’t want to spoil everyone with making slave Holly dance again *winks*.

Instead we returned home and had another skipee. That game went down quicker than expected but it was way over our usual bedtime nonetheless. Time flies when you have fun 🙂

Wednesday, April 27th, I had some time in the later morning and went simploring. I visited Black Bayou Lake, a sim created by Serene Footman and Jade Koltai. I had visited Black Bayou Lake in 2018, it was open just a few weeks. Serene and Jade re-built the sim and made it even better. I enjoyed my visit a lot – read more about my visit here.

I was not inworld in the afternoon as I had some RL obligations.
At night I was alone first and went to Puerto esclava, sat down and watched the world go by. I polite boy, Kal (kalshock) approached me and asked to be my footstool, which I accepted. We had a nice chat. Mistress was running late and eventually joined me at PE. Soon after slave Holly and slave Alessi came inworld and we returned home. We had our obligatory game of skipee together first (Mistress and Alessi won it), then we went to Carnal Intentions.

We had some fun, main chat and chat among us at Carnal, a nice and relaxed evening.

Art in Second Life 2022 (44) “The Forgotten Worlds” by Nils Urqhart @ United Artists of SL

I got an invitation from Nils Urqhart to see his newest exhibtion at United Artist of SL in the Galerie Principale. The exhibition is titled “The Forgotten Worlds“.

In “The Forgotten Worlds” Nils presents 30 photographs taken in the French Alps. The pictures create a strong contrast to the mordern Galerie Principale, a building that would fit into a Sci-Fi environment. The Galerie Principale building is open at the front and has 3 floors. On the first glance the pictures are small compared to the building. You have to get closer to them to really see them and to  experience them.

All pictures are taken well above or at the treeline. Nils has an eye for almost unreal scenes. Clouds that nestle against the mountain slopes and obscure the peaks. In other pictures, the peaks are above the clouds and you can see how the sun illuminates them. You get an impression of this “forgotten” world, a world mostly unseen by humans, a world of its own. On the other hand this world is stunning and beautiful.

Nils Urqhart (Paul Maurice in RL) is a French photographer in RL. He takes his photos mainly in French Alps and other French mountains (Vosges, Jura, Bugey, Aubrac…). Nils has a lot of exhibitions in different SL galleries every year. You can get a list with all of his current exhibitions from one of the exhibition posters in the center of the first floor of the Galerie Principale at United Artists of SL.
Nils is in SL since December 2007. Since 2010, his photos have been on display year-round at Art gallery Rill’Arts. Nils (or Paul in RL) has an own website where you can purchase his pictures to decorate you RL home.

Nils Urqhart is the creator of the RL Photo Festival Helvellyn, the Helvellyn Christmas Market and the Helvellyn Summer Fair – all three are annual artistic events. There are quite some potential contact opportunities besides his webpage: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

I like Nils Urqhart (Paul Maurice) RL pictures. They are kind of a connection element between RL and SL. With “The Forgotten Worlds” you visit a “real” exhibtion in a virtual environment. Thank you Nils for another great exhibition
