We began to “work” on the next post for the “Enjoying bondage” series last Thursday (August 11th) although we still miss Sklavin Gebby and Kitty to be fitted into their accoring outfits for this month. For right now I’ll share a picture of Thursday night with slaves blue, cyan and yellow….

When visiting one of the SM-Clubs (Stand & Model) what we do quite often to chat and chill, we also read profiles. In one of these profiles Jenny came across a gallery and gave me a hint to have a look as she knows that I love to see art and to dicover places I haven’t been before. That is how I came to Alanis Gallery. It is quite a surprise that I haven’t been there in all the years that I’m already in Second Life.

“Established since 2008, Alanis Gallery Sensual Images in Xaara, is a showcase for carefully selected original works by RL Artists with exclusive rights in SL, many with a D/s theme. Original RL photographs by Sylvia Fitzpatrick (which explore, both figuratively and conceptually, the submissive female, fetish and her local landscape).” And it is really huge (!). I like that you can teleport around between the different exhibitions and you’ll need it in order not to get lost in the gallery. The pictures are great, of course I don’t like them all but the bondage pictures I saw from several artist were really good. You can buy the pictures to decorate your SL home. Outside of the building I didn’t expect much but there is much more. Xaara is also a bdsm community and has a lot to offer besides Alanis Gallery.
Xaara is “a Mediterranean style resort full of friendly people, beautiful art galleries, surprising shops and entertaining events and activities.” I roamed around and found that there are 6 private skyboxes that are free to use for a limited amout of time and I visited some ot them. They are at least a great hideaway to retreat to with a sub/slave or with Mistress Jenny. And there are also public play spaces for example a shibari room.

I really was surprised that I haven’t been here before! While I was exploring I had a nice chat with Laz (haydenpryce) who co-owns the sim and runs it together with is sub and with the help of the
Alanis Gallery ran by Syliva Fitzpatrick and her partner Michiel Seetan.
Xaara is (another quote) “a place to find your own BDSM or erotic path. For mature visitors only. Where Dominants and submissives can relax, role play, explore, gain knowledge or feast the eyes on the best sensual art in SL.”
There are events and a events calendar and for sure a lot more activites (like the erotic library, dancing, discussions and …). My visit was short considering the variety and what Xaara has to offer.

Tuesday night, August 9th, we took slave Flo and slave cecy (also known as slave cyan) to the dungeon of Fake Domme Slut (FDS) and allowed them to spoil eachother. Not much going on the last nights as many of us seem to have a busy RL these days – including myself. Hence our nights were short and we mostly chatted while visiting a club. We still miss getting Kitty and sklavin Gebby into their August slave outfit…. and we’re collecting ideas for the August “Enjoying bondage” series. Let’s see what we’ll come up with. Mistress Jenny is further establishing her position during the last nights whenever we found some time for ourselfs. I wrote about Eclectica about one year ago here in this blog. And now I came across this beautiful sim again. Maddy (nibby.riddler) changed the it a lot and named it Mystica now. The Landmark description sums it up perfectly: “Make your way through Mystica, the newest build on the ever changing Eclectica sim, a mystical floating archipelago in the sky with the popular wedding chapel below, propose, elope, automated, free honeymoon, photos, relax, meditate, romance, lovers, cuddle“.

Mystica is build in the skies on connected rocks (no worries you won’t fall down). And it really offers a lot of romantic places, just to mediate, to cuddle or simply to enjoy. I began discovering the new layout but I’m by far not done yet. The best spot I found for an overview is from the “balloon bed”. I don’t know an official way to get up to it, so I used my magic Second Life powers and just right clicked “sit”. From there you have a good view on the sim and you can discover all the secret lovely places to enjoy. A visit is strongly recommended.

Hide & Seek is a lovely island open to the public for a limited time. The sim is owned by Seth Theodore delwood-reign (sethcohen.nirvana). I came across it once again following Inara Pey’s Living in a Modemworld blog where you can read a much more detailed description of Hide and Seek in Second Life.
August 6th: Diomita at Hide & Seek
The name says it all: You can explore the island seeking a place to hide or to mediate and you will most probably find it. The beach is for sure a bit more public but I like it very much. Friday night I sat there and enjoyed the view before it was time to go dancing.

On the island you’ll find also a quite large forest. There are some quiet spots like a hanging chair to cuddle or to dream, a camp with a campfire and an old drive-in cinema. Just perfect to hide or to cuddle in a nice environment.

Another beautiful place to visit. I don’t get tired exploring Second Life and the creativity of it’s residents. Thank you Seth for providing your place to the public. I just hope you keep it public for a long time. I really enjoyed my visit and would like to hide there more often.

It looks as if the slaves have a little conspiracy. They show up one after the other each night. On Thursday night (August 4th) it was slavin C who was fitted into her midsummer outfit. This time I choose for her as I got used to have her in pink. So she became slavin pink. After she was dressed I put out three kinky cushions fitting in colour with the three present slaves yellow, cyan and pink. Tuesday, August 2nd, we put slave Flo in her new midsummer outfit. She choosed yellow and that’s quite outstanding. Pauline asked to joined and for her we selected a green harness. So far the slaves are yellow (Flo), cyan (cecy), red (Nina) and green (Pauline). Should we call them by their colours? At least a nice idea, isn’t it? After fitting the new outfit we took the the yellow, the cyan and the green slave to Lochme and enjoyed some chatting and banter.

Cards Against Humanity is a party game in which players complete fill-in-the-blank statements using typically offensive, risque or politically incorrect words or phrases printed on playing cards.
Each player gets ten cards with the words to fill into the statements. One player is the Czar who decides which filled statement is best not knowing who made it and the one who made the choosen statement gets a point. After the round, a new player becomes the Czar, and everyone draws back up to ten cards.
Our neighbour Tyra Sciarri has set up a cards against humanity table on their island and she invited us to use it whenever we like to. Actually this game could be adapted for Second Life very easily and works perfect. Playing is a lot of fun and provides reason for banter and chat. Thursday night slavin C proposed to play it again and we had a great night, just playing. Jenny won the game but it was a close game and winning it was not the focus but the fun.

Wednesday night we took slave Flo, slave cecy and Slavin C to the Dungeon of FDS. This is quite a big dungeon open to the public and sometimes there’s nobody and other times it is quite crowded there. There is a big central post for four subs. It is not scripted or animated but was perfect for what I had in mind: teasing the slaves.
July 27th: slave Flo, slave cecy and slavin C suspended at FDS
