Simploring 2018 (95) Glenrosa

I picked Glenrosa from scoop.it SL Destinations for my simploring tour on Saturday, October 27th. The picture I saw and the description tempted me: “Glenrosa is a place to wander and explore. Set off down the winding road or take the shoreline. Whichever path you choose you will find lots of surprises along the way.“

Glenrosa – overview

Glenrosa is a moderate homestead, an island surrounded by higher mountains. Upon landing you stand at a gate, with the name “Glenrosa” engraved into the gate posts. To me it seems like the entrance to a bigger property with a villa. I walked through the gate and followed the dirt road that acutally led me to a bigger house, a manor. It looked a bit abandoned. I walked inside and found it fully furnished, but most of the furniture was covered with sheets and moving boxes were piled up in some corners, the bookshelfs were empty. The other rooms and floors were similar mothballed and it felt somehoe a bit scary inside of the manor.

I continued my simploring tour and walked along the shore. Glenrosa offers a lot of nature, some areas are quite meagre, the shores are either rocky or covered with black gravel. Some conifers grow under these conditions nonetheless. The nature looks very natural and fitting. I walked around a larger pond with a fishing hut, discovered a nice place to sit and enjoy. Admist some bushes near the shore I also discovered some art.

There’s an old railroad track and another house nearby, that I explored as well. Again it looked a bit scary inside and although it was furnished it felt like it wasn’t inhabited for a longer time. Quite in the center of Glenrosa is a chapel with a graveyard. But the chapel isn’t used as such anymore, although inside are a few pews. The chains at the walls, the chair where once the altar might have been, the two cages with candles inside indicate that it is used for some darker kinks.

At the end of my simploring tour I met the owners of Glenrosa, Gabriel (gabriel4botto) and Brandi Monroe, who happened to be at the pebbly shore. They had been at an Halloween party the night before and were still wearing their costumes, just like myself. I wore a witch costume from our Friday night party the day before.

Gabriel is the owner of Corruption. Brandi explained to me, that “Corruption is a different sim they have. It is an adult sim. There is a fee to join that one and we have our events and all there. It’s a bit different looking than this one. Glenrosa is just a photography/hang out sim basically. We extended it originally as another option for our Corruption members to have, but decided to open it to the public about a week ago.“

And Brandi is absolutely right, Glenrosa is a great place for taking pictures. It stands out with is quite natural landscape and vegetation. It offers opportunities to retreat or for some darker activities. In any case, Glenrosa is worth a visit. Thank you for opening Glenrosa for the public, Gabriel and Brandi!

Diary 2018 (194) October 29th/30th Finally a green light again

Monday, October 29th, I met with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon. Mistress took me shopping with her. To my surprise we didn’t go into any fetish clothes store but to Blueberry and she bought a full jeans outfit – and she got one for herself. Casual clothes are a real change for us.

At night we met with Angelique and Mistress had fun to tell her off for joining me in the bathroom a few days before, when she wasn’t inworld herself. “I am beginning to think that you both wait for me to have to work so you can jump into the bath together”, she said. Then she selected a jeans outfit for Angelique, but by far not such a nice outfit like ours. She added that this outfit should prevent me from desiring her too much.
She agreed that Angelique deserves a spanking for her naughtiness. Of course Angelique protested, talked back and was reluctant and in particular Mistress had fun watching her reluctance and her fight. She enjoyed as well watching me as I gave Angelique a few spanks on her firm cute butt.

We went over to Trouble Tavern and spent a few minutes there and teased Angelique. Unfortunately Angelique’s appearance was misinterpreted as looking too young by one of the guests – hairstyle, flat shoes and her clothes did cause that. We clarified this issue but it destroyed our playful mood. Therefore we went home and had a game of skipee (Angelique won) to wind down.

Tuesday afternoon, I took control of what is mine. My last green light was close to a month ago. Jenny had exchanged my Ehesklavin collar with our partner collar Monday night and granted a green light starting Tuesday. As I want to make the most of it, I started the green light when we met in the afternoon. Jenny had to wear a full elegance cuff set including the steel collar. Then I took her to club Domme a Domme to proudly express my ownership of her.

I made a few pictures, and then I took Jenny to Meadow Rose. I had visited Meadow Rose within my simploring activities just a few weeks ago (read here). Recently Meadow Rose was further extended and comprises two homestead sims now. Amoung other new areas and buildings, Rye Falmer, the owner of Meadow Rose, has added a castle. And this castle has a nice dungeon. I had selected this place to tease my property, when I prepared my green light.

I fixed Jenny on a bondage rack that could be fitted into a spanish horse. Having her helplessly at my mercy, I just teased her and built up the according mood for my green light. Our time together in the afternoon is always short and was already over again. I brought my property back to the annex of our skybox where I stored her.

Our night was very relaxed. We first had 2 games of greedy with Angelique, then we went to Trouble Tavern once again and we played truthball. We selected different question lists, some questions did cause us to laught together, others were more serious and we even discussed about it. Just a shame that none joined our conversation, the other guests were either absent or doing something else. But we enjoyed it.

When we returned home, I retreated with Jenny to the annex of your skybox and of course I took advantage of my property (no pictures). Being in control is great.

Diary 2018 (193) October 27th/28th a wedding at Eurobrats Headquarters

Saturday, October 27th, I could only meet shortly with Mistress Jenny due to her and my RL. We went to Psi’s realm to catch up. And I took again several nice pictures of Mistress and me.

October 27th: Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin at Psi’s realm

At night, Mistress Jenny wasn’t inworld due to her RL. And I had a particular night with Angelique. First I took a bath alone, tried out some poses. I surfed the market place, I sorted my inventory, then Angelique joined me in the bath. I won’t go into details, but we had fun together.
Afterwards we played a game of greedy and then we went shopping. I intended to get the outfit that Angelique named “Auntie D’s favourite Outfit” (read Diary 2018 (184) October 11th/12th Angelique’s new mix and match outfit). Angelique helped me to get all needed items. And I bet Mistress Jenny will be surprised seeing our niece and me dressed alike!

October 27th: Diomita spending Saturday night with her niece Angelique – Aunt and nice

Sunday, October 28th, Second Life had some hickups and logging in was not easy and took time. Mistress Jenny did meet nonetheless in the afternoon and we found time to catch up. At night we had a particular event at our home again.
Starry (Starbright Wingtips) had asked us a few days agao to use our chapel for another wedding and of course we agreed. And this wedding took place Sunday night. Two of Starry’s friends married, Ćℓαire Arwen Alassé (maddh4tt3r) and Rachel (rmf361sim). Starry had decorated the chapel that is now placed close to the dance area due to Halloween.
It was a real shame that there were login issues that night too, but in the end all made it to the wedding finally. It is always something particular to attend a wedding, and as we had our 10th wedding anniversary just a few days before, it was even more special for Jenny and me.

October 28th: The wedding of Claire Arwen Alasse (maddh4tt3r) and Rachel (rmf361sim), Starry conducted the wedding, Sage (saglie) and Amy (Tacticalbitch) were witnesses

Starry held the speech and she declared Claire and Rachel married, Sage (saglie) and Amy (Tacticalbitch) were the witnesses. There were quite some guests, most of who we also see often at our Friday night parties. Taking a group picture afterwards was quite a difficult job but we made it *winks*

After the wedding Mistress Jenny, Angelique and I played a round of skipee to wind down and slave slut cecy watched kneeling next to us and cleaned our feet. After we had finished we brought slave slave cecy back to Psi’s realm, where she can literally hang around, while we’re not around. And that’s it for this diary entry.

Diary 2018 (192) October 25th/26th – Witches

Thursday, October 25th, I met slave kelly in the afternoon shortly. I took her to Psi’s realm, but her time was limited. She’s going to be absent for about 10 days due to her RL and as it is not sure if we will see her before she leaves, I locked her into the isolation cell before she headed off.

My night began relaxed. Mistress Jenny and I went to club DeLust to catch up, then we returned home to meet with Angelique. We intended to have a game together. slave Flo came online and made Mistress Jenny and me laugh. She had manipulated one of the tombstones that Mistress Jenny had put up as part of the Halloween decoration close to our dance floor. slave Flo has immortalized herself “R.I.P. honored Doctor – Beauty Surgeon – Florence Riddler”. It fitted well that slave Flo came online too, thus we could play skipee as teams. It was a very close game that Mistress Jenny won with slave Flo against Angelique and me by just one card.

After slave Flo and Angelique had left for bed, Mistress Jenny and I went dancing at Babylon Berlin. We had missed that part of our 10th wedding anniversary celebration, hence it made up for it the night after.

Friday, October 26th, I could meet with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon. She ordered me to put the reverse straight jacket on. Then she visited club Domme a Domme and Psi’s realm with me, holding the leash and having me kneeling at her side. We didn’t do much, but I enjoyed just looking at Mistress. Her dominance is still growing.

Simploring 2018 (94) The Yellow Lodge At Warm Springs

For my simploring tour on Sunday, October 21st, I had in mind to visit a sim which features the colours of autumn. But instead of visiting a new sim, I checked some older destinations. The first two that I tried, were gone but Warm Springs, that I visited three years ago back in 2015, is still available. You can read my simploring report about it here “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers (II)“.

Impressions of Warm Springs (1) – overview and landing point

The name of the sim has changed. It’s now called “The Yellow Lodge At Warm Springs“. When I arrived it felt immediately familiar. I landed on a pier, that was decorated with some pumpkins and with gear used to fish lobster. I knew that I have been here before and at least the pier hasn’t changed. Then I started my simploring tour and explored the whole sim on foot.

Warm Springs consists of two islands that are connected by a covered bridge, an element that reminds me of my visits to the Northeast of the US in RL. The pier and the landing are on the smaller island. Across the covered bridge is a lighthouse that towers the two islands and looks like one of the many picturesque lighthouses on the Northeast coast of the US. I climbed up and enjoyed the view from the top of it.

Is there much to see? Well, first of all the foliage is great at Warm Springs and you can enjoy the views. Some pictures I took look like painted with watercolour. Walking around and visiting the beaches is just fun. On the smaller island are two nice residental homes. They are furnished and decorated inside and they offer nice places to sit in and outsit.

On the bigger island are also two houses and one of them is the Yellow Lodge, the reason for the new name for the sim. This house is different and it was not there when I visited the first time back in 2015. It’s not a New England residential home, it is built of stone, it is yellow of course and it is home for several cats. The in and outside is extraordinairy colourful, with a touch of art-deco and a touch of the 1950ies.

Warm Springs is a moderate homestead, owned by Irina Forwzy. Irina described it as “a picturesque, tranquil, romantic sim with quaint houses and the beauty of nature. Reminiscent of the Southern Atlantic states.” I can only agree! But for me her island is located in the Northeast of the US firstly because of the colourful foliage and secondly because ot the signs for Lobster.

I enjoyed my visit a lot, like a short trip into the beauty of Autumn. Thank you Irina for sharing your sim with the public.

Simploring 2018 (93) Rusty by Cica Ghost

On Sunday, November 4th, I made a spontaneous simploring tour in the early evening and visited Cica Ghost’s newest Installation called Rusty, that opened that very day.

As the name already gives away, Rusty is rusty. It’s an island with a surface seemingly made of an iron sheet with a chess board pattern and some fields are rusty. The island is covered with an old plant, and of course the single elements of that plant are rusty. There’re some areas covered with flowers, and these are .. rusty.

From the very beginning of my visit I had fun at Rusty. I kept the windlight setting. It is dark and the sky looks a bit threatening but it fits perfect for Cica’s installation. Each and every element of the “plant” is different and often you find little living rooms inside at the top of them, accessable by ladders.
Rusty birds have found their home at Rusty. And as it is Cica’s style these birds are comparably big and have big eyes that seemingly look at you. They sit on poles, on large rusty plants, on pipes and power lines. You can take a ride on several vehicles, which are extraordinary like a huge cat on wheels or a swimming mouse. You can choose different poses and dance on the head of the huge cat while it drives around the plant.

Like a cameo appearance Cica began to hide one or more of her famous cats in her newer installations. I found the cat also at Rusty and it conjured a smile in my face.
Very funny is also that one of the plant elements is like a big chicken. You can climb up to it and sit “inside” over 3 eggs, that the chicken had layed. Cica added even more fun elements. On a platform that connects two of the living rooms at the top of the plant elements you can do a box fight. Cica provides the bozo gloves for the fight – and there’s another living room nearby with more chairs for the audience watching.

A bit aside of the plant is a house that looks like the former energy supply of the plant or possibly the former control center of it. Actually, after exploring Rusty, it seems to me being more a little town rather a former plant side. At least it was transformed into a living place. Cica’s rusty birds and other animals found their place here as well as humans who installed their little living rooms and took over the place which looked so abandonned and rusty on the first glance.
The longer you explore Rusty, the more details you discover. For example that some of the living rooms are colourful and stick out in this rusty environment. I’m pretty sure that I didn’t discover everything.

As always Cica didn’t write a detailed landmark description but provided a quote, this time the quote is from Joseph Addison, an English essayist, poet, playwright, and politician (1672 – 1719): “Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week.”
This fits perfectly as visiting Rusty conjures a smile in your face and washes away your worries for the time you dive into Cica’s world and enjoy it.

Diary 2018 (191) October 24th – our 10th wedding anniversary inworld

When I came inworld at night on Wednesday, October 24th, our 10th wedding anniversary, slave kelly and Angelique were inworld and I went down seeing them. Angelique had a really thoughtfully selected present for Jenny and me, a sculpture named “The Lovers”. When Mistress joined us later we selected a place for it and took some pictures. Thank you, Angelique!

We had in mind exchanging our vows for our anniversary at some romantic place, but Mistress changed the plan spontaneously and we went over to our stonehaven patio. Mistress placed slave kelly and slave Flo, who had come inworld as well in the meanwhile, at the wall and we locked and leashed them there. Angelique had to stand in the middle.
Then Mistress asked me for my vow. I said my vows kneeling to my wife, Mistress and property and confirmed my unconditional submission to Mistress Jenny. Then Mistress Jenny said her vows promising her control, her care and her love, and also promising granting green lights to exercise my ownership of her. Angelique was our witness and slave Flo and slave kelly did decorate us very well.

After this short, spontaneous ceremony, we retreated to our skybox, where Angelique had the assignment to leash us for some time of togetherness. That was to remind us of our honeymoon, which we spent in this skybox 10 years before with the obligation not to leave it for one week.

Diary 2018 (190) October 22nd/23rd – Unwrapped

We had a nice afternoon on Monday, October 22nd. slave kelly was inworld and we went seeing her. I removed her hobble dress, her hood and even her pear plug. Then we went inside and into the bathroom because I had to pee. Tuesday, Ocotber 23rd, Mistress and I had a short time together in the afternoon. Mistress had the idea that we both should wear or slave collars for our upcoming 10th wedding anniversary the next day. I wore my Ehesklavin collar for quite some weeks already, but she allowed me to exchange her collar with her slave collar. I liked this idea a lot, as I do own my Mistress vice versa and that’s expressed also with this slave collar.

We took slave kelly to Heavy Bondage Club, but the lag there was horrible and slave kelly crashed several times. We moved on to Psi’s realm, where it was much better and also entertaining again, but our time was up quickly – and I forgot to take pictures.

Our night was quite short as well, as I came inworld late, but it was entertaining. Mistress was at our Stonehaven patio with slave Flo and slave kelly when I arrived. What a change seeing her face and body again (for a little while at least). I rezzed a bench for the slaves and fixed slave Flo onto it, then slave kelly was ordered to spoil her sister. Mistress and I sat down and watched. Saturday, October 20th, I went on a simploring tour in the afternoon (more about this tour in tomorrow’s post). At the end of my simploring tour Mistress Jenny came inworld and I invited her to meet with me there. We caught up with our mutual news at a nice, romantic spot. Afterwards Mistress Jenny and I went home to our skybox. She wanted to be compensated for the fun she missed the last two nights and of course she got her compensation (no pictures about that *winks*).

October 20th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita cuddling / Mistress Jenny, Diomita and Angelique at Mesmerize Dungeon and at Psi’s realm with slave slut cecy

Our night was very relaxed. I met with Angelique and we played a round of greedy. Mistress joined us for another round. Then we went to Mesmerize Dungeon for a short time. When slave slut cecy came inworld we picked her up at home and brought her to Psi’s realm. We spent some time together there chatting amoung us and teasing our slut, who I suspended from the ceiling at Psi’s. When left slave cecy there an hour later the floor around our slut was already slippery.

Mistress Jenny and I retreated to the roof of our skybox and had some dances together. This way our Saturday began and ended in a romantic way.

Mistress Jenny, Angelique and I played a round of Skipee Sunday afternoon, October 21st (Angelique won it this time). We then went over to club Domme a Domme, but it was quite quiet there. Angelique pointed us to a new dress at Deviant Behavior and we headed over to the store. The store is one of the best stores in SL regarding the shopping experience. Usually you get a demo version of the clothes you’re interested in to try them out. The demo version is sent to your inventory where you can grab it and mostly is has a big sign on it “Demo”.
Not so at Deviant Behavior, a shop owned by Dr. Soni Avileva (soniavileva). Instead of getting a demo, you “sit down” next to the piece of clothes you’re interested in and it is worn automatically, and it is just the way it will look later when you buy it. When you stand up again, you take of the clothes automatically again. That’s a shopping experience.
That is why I titeled this diary entry “Deviant Behavior” (and not because we or an slave did behave deviant *winks*)

October 21st: Mistress Jenny, Diomita and Angelique at club Domme a Domme / Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Deviant Behavior trying on a new dress

Mistress tried on the new dress and it looks great on her. At night we decided to go back to the store and we both got the new dress, Mistress got it in white and I got the black. We can show up in partner look now.

October 21st – a relaxed night: Mistress Jenny, Diomita, Angelique at home / Mistress Jenny, Diomita, slave Flo and slave slut cecy at Psi’s realm

When we returned from shopping we met Angelique and slave Flo playing greedy and we joined the game but they were already quite far ahead of us (slave Flo won it). We had a nice chat standing next to the game table, then Angelique had to leave. We went to Psi’s realm where we spent the rest of this night. It was quiet and empty first but when we left at midnight, it was full and we had a lot of eye candy. slave slut cecy showed also up and I had to take out the caution wet board again to prevent any accidents. We left her at Psi’s realm.

For my simploring tour on Saturday, October 20th, I selected Winter Moon from scoop.it SL Destinations. There’re a lot of reviews about Winter Moon already, it seems to be quite popular, yet I’ve never been there before. Winter Moon is a homestead rated PG, it is group owned by a group also named Winter Moon, which was founded by Dream Shadowcry. Joining the group is for free. As far as I could find out, the sim was created and is really owned by Dream Shadowcry. And it is quite popular indeed. The group has close to 3,000 members, and during my visit I was not alone at all, there were 10 other people around.

The landmark description is quite romantic: “You know that place between sleep and awake, the place where you can still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll always love you, that’s where I’ll be waiting“

Winter Moon is an island in the form of a hoof. One part of the hoof is dominated by a steep massive rock, the other part is quite flat and on it’s end is a huge lighthouse that towers above the whole island. The bay, formed by the hoof is not open, as a bridge leads from the lighthouse over the bay to the other end of the island.

The windlight setting is a bit foggy and set to immerse the island in a warm reddish sundown atmosphere. I switched the light to my favourite setting for simploring, which is “Annan Adored Realisitc ambient”.
The provided landmark for Winter Moon leads to a point close to the lighthouse, an alley with some upholstered furniture at the sides, chandeliers are suspended from the branches of the trees. It looks like a mixtures between indoor and outdoor, like a living room under the sky – and yes it looks very romantic.

I walked up to the top of the lighthouse to get an overview, then I walked all around the island, crossing the bridge that connects the both ends of the hoof. What I noticed right when I landed continued. Winter Moon is a very romantic spot, there’re innumerable places to sit and cuddle, one spot more inviting than the other, a fantasy world yet not science fiction, just lovely. Sofas, beds, loungers, chairs, benches … and all offer a nice view into the beautiful and really peaceful environment.

At Winter Moon you have the difficult choice between a romantic spot on the beach, or overlooking the beach, or in the forest, or looking at the waterfalls that run down from the big rock into the bay, or close to the lighthouse, or on the bridge or in the middle of the bay where some arcardes form a circle. As mentioned before, I was not alone during my visit and some spots were taken, but there’re so many that you will find a romantic spot far from other visitors any time. And I can understand now why Winter Moon is popular.

I enjoyed my visit a lot. Thank you Dream Shadowcry for providing this romantic hideaway to the public. I will return whenever I look for a place to cuddle with my love.
