Diary 2020 (100) July 12th/13th Wearing my slave collar again

I met with Mistress Jenny Sunday afternoon, July 12th. We had a lot to catch up as I was absent the days before. My RL will be busy the next weeks and I’m emotionally stressed by it. I think it was the first that I asked Mistress to take full control and to lock the slave collar around my neck. I think it will make things easier for me and it felt right. I know Mistress will do what is best for me and she will give me the support I need – and be it by her full control. Thank you Mistress Jenny.
As Mistress wouldn’t be inworld at night due to her RL, she allowed me to lick her and to get my fix before she had to leave.

July 12th: Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin at our skybox loft

My night was relaxed. slave Flo, slave Gwendi, slave Zia and slave Melissa were present. I first ahd the slaves around me at home and made slave Zia wear also a RR harness and the dildos. I then picked slave Melissa up at the beach disco dancefloor, where Mistress had leashed her the last time. I took the girls to Mesmerize Dungeon and later to Psi’s realm. slave Melissa was my chair and I played withe my remote starting the slaves’ vibs and turning them on and off teasingly.

July 12th: Diomita with slave Flo, slave Gwendi, slave Zia and slave Mslissa at home, at Mesmerize DUngeon and at Psi’s realm

At Pis’s realm … slave Gwendi did pee – how embarrasing. And slave Flo got an orgasm – how nice. I had fun, chatted a bit, looked around a bit and enjoyed our slaves. We went home way before flotime and had a greedy before bed. And that’s it.

Monday, July 13th, I met with Mistress in the afternoon for one and a half hour. Before we caught up with our mutual news, Mistress restrained my arms with an armbinder, leashed me and took me to Kitty’s Play House, where she placed me on a smoothering bench and sat down above my face drinking champagne. In this position I filled Mistress in with my news.
Mistress took me to Mature Dommes next, she stripped and then put a dildo gag into my mouth and enjoyed herself. I could only watch and smell her, unable to move myself, quite a torture for a slave eager to lick her owner. But Mistress was generous and allowed me to clean her with my tongue afterwards and I must have been doing well because she had a second orgasm.

July 13th: Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin at Kitty’s Play House and at Mature Dommes

We spent 15 minutes at Heavy Bondage Club, then Mistress and I had to leave to tend to our RL.

When we returned at night, none of the family was present. We went to Mesmerize Dungeon, where slave Luci joined us. Then slave Flo, slave Gwendi and slave Melissa came inworld and soon we had a lovely bunch of decoration around us. One of the other guests at Mesmerize Dungeon made a nice portrait picture of Mistress Jenny. For sure, Mistress is a very attractive woman.

July 13th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Mesmerize Dungeon with slave Flo, slave Gwendi, slave Melissa and slave Luci / portrait of Mistress Jenny

We took the slaves to Psi’s realm next. There we lost slave Luci. I began to arrange slave Flo, slave Gwendi and slave Melissa standing close together all leashed to a chain that reaches from the ceiling to the floor. A different kind of bondage pose compared to what we usually use. The vibrators were brought to life again and the slaves could look into eachother’s eyes. THis time slave Gwendi couldn’t hold back and had an orgasm – and I took a few pictures of course.

July 13th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Psi’s realm with slave Flo, slave Gwendi and slave Melissa

After this little bondage session we went back home and had 2 rounds of greedy before slave Flo, slave Gwendi and slave Melissa went off to bed. And we followed soon after.

Diary 2020 (99) July 8th – July 11th – Mistress Jenny and Diomita – the swap (II)

Wednesday, July 8th, I had a full and busy day in RL. I used a break in the later afternoon to visit two art installations. I enjoyed that.
At night I met with Mistress Jenny, slave Flo and slave Gwendi and we had a greedy together first. Then we made a little tour and visited Mesmerize Dungeon, Psi’s realm and Lochme. It was quiet yet not empty. We chatted a bit and watched people and read profiles. It was a relaxed night, just the right for me. And Mistress and I continued our semi-swap. slave Flo and slave gwendi called us Jenita and Diony. Most of the time you have to create the fun yourself *winks*

July 8th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita (aka. Jenita and Diony) with slave Flo and slave Gwendi at Mesmerize Dungeon, Psi’s realm and Lochme

I was absent again from Thursday, July 9th until Saturday, July 11th late night. But I managed to attend the Friday night party for a bit at least. The theme was “purple”. I wasn’t able to change though and I just enjoyed to say hello to everybody, listened to the great music, danced and had a long chat with Mistress.

July 10th – Friday night party: Della Randt, Starbright Wingtips, Alaun (ams694), Whisper (seruwhisper), Hoatur Takeda, Kawaii Takeda, papafox57 (upper row), slave Flo, Baroness Capelo, Diomita, Mistress Jenny, Dart Trapdoor, Ruby (ScarletLeCat), Virgo Babii, Tyra Sciarri (lower row)

Art in Second Life 2020 (43) Fractal art by Kraven Klees

I found a bit of extra time for roaming on Wednesday, June 24th and went to “Hannington Endowment for the Arts” (HEA) to see if there’s anything new – and there was. I decided to see an exhibtion of Kraven Klees named “Fractal To Scuplture” at Hive I.
REMARK: The opening of this exhibtion was postponed several times and is now fixed for Thursday July 23rd 4 PM SLT”

There’s a board at the entrance with a text from Kraven Klees explaining a bit what’s behind it:
Fractal To Sculpture – This is my experiment to bring 22D fractals to 3D form. This creates a struggle between detail and the ability to bring them into Second Life. These scultures start with over one million faces and up to two million vertices. These numbers have to be reduced to around 65000 faces to be accepted for upload into Second Life. This forces a drastic reduction in detail. I continue to experiment, hoping to get better results in future. I hope you enjoy Fractal To Sculpture.

Impressions of “Fractal To Scuplture” by Kraven Klees at Hannington Endowment for the Arts (HEA) (1)

Now I was curious as I became a fan of fractal art although I never tried making it myself. But I enjoy seeing it. But unfortunately the exhibition was not yet opened. Well I know how to get behind closed doors in Second Life and I had a look inside nonetheless.

The Hive’s walls were covered with a geometric, computer chip like texture in green and yellow, clearly fractal textures, the floor in the same way but in brown tones. In the center are 4 different huge scultures on podests – these are the 3D scultures Kraven was talking about in his text. They are quite impressive and h u g e.

Impressions of “Fractal To Scuplture” by Kraven Klees at Hannington Endowment for the Arts (HEA) (2)

I can see that some details of the surfaces are missing, the sculpture appear a bit blurring partly. But overall, I can’s see why Kraven isn’t satisfied with the result. The screaming female head did impress me most, but also the upper body of a female fairy is really a great piece of art. The green sculpture leaves mayn room for interpretation, it could be anything or just abstract. The 3D sculpture in the black frame is also intriguing as only parts are 3D and these kind of grow out of the 2D art. Something that you have to see as it is hard to capture it on a 2D picture.

Kraven Klees is in Second Life for almost 13 years. He’s from Washington DC and creates media artworks, fractals, photos and mixed media artworks. At the entrance you can grab a notecard about his art and what drives him – to conjure the realms of our imagination. The exhibtion “Fractal To Sculpture” shall be open for visits until August 31st, 2020.

Hannington Endowment for the Arts” is a peaceful and private area for contemplation and relaxation, and is proud to host artists at The Hive!”. It is owned by Hannington Xeltentat.
Hanningtom Endowment for the Arts” – or short HEA, was built by Tansee, who also runs the gallery.  Thank you Hannington for providing the space and thank you Tansee for curating HEA.

After seeing Kraven Klees art at HEA I also went to the other places where his art is presented currently, the places were listed in the accompanying notecard as well as in Kraven’s profile. I first went to Active Interiors.

My next stop was at Kraven’s own gallery at Sunset Temptations.

And I finally went to Floating Lotus Art gallery, where Kraven’s Art is featured together with two other artists. You can clearly indentify Kraven’s style. Most of his work deals with fantasies, with humans, with nightmares as well as with dreams – and its intriguing. You can purchase the fractals either at Kraven’s gallery or at his store on the marketplace.

Thank you for your art. I enjoyed my afternoon with your art, Kraven.

Diary 2020 (98) July 7th – Mistress Jenny and Diomita – the swap

I met with Mistress Jenny Tuesday, July 7th, in the afternoon. We made a tour through the clubs and started at Heavy Bondage Club. Mistress had her fun there with a noble lady, who is under Mistress’ full control (and under my control now too). The noble lady has kidnapping fantasies and made Mistress her icontrol owner the day before.
Mistress and I teased her a bit, then went on to Mesmerize Dungeon where I spontaneaously knelt at Mistress’ feet. We went to Puerto Esclava and finally to our loft skybox. Mistress was in a domme mood in the meanwhile and she enjoyed it. I had to kiss her feet and finally I had to wear an harness. Hence I was in the July outfit myself – at least for that day.

July 7th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club, at Mesmerize Dungeon, at Puerto Esclava and at our loft skybox

I tutned out that Mistress had other plans … fun plans. When we met at night again, she changed into a catsuit and a harness herself and we began to swap identites. Mistress with white hair, me with black hair, Mistress with glasses, me without and Mistress wearing a tag being “Jenny’s Ehesklavin” and me wearing at tag “Dio’s owned Mistress”. It was confusing for us ourselves *winks* we went home where we met slave Gwendi.

July 7th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita – Diomita and Mistress Jenny at home with slave Gwendi and slave Flo

We had a game of greedy with slave Gwendi and slave Flo joined us at the greedy table. Mistress proposed to have a game of skipee as we hadn’t played it for quite a while. But first we made slave Flo change into an harness too. Then we began to play skipee. It turned out to become a long and close game. Our daughter Cinders (Ebony) came home and tended to her work, she cleaned the house toroughly while we played. And she was just done with it when we finished our game (Mistress Jenny and slave Flo won it).
Of course I had to take a picture of us and hence we went to Mesmerize Dungeon for 15 minutes.

July 7th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Mesmerize Dungeon with Ebony, slave Flo and slave Gwendi

At flotime we returned home and said good night to slave Flo, slave Gwendi and Ebony. We retreated to the loft skybox and I was allowed to lick Mistress and to get my fix. That crowned a relaxed and fun night, just what I needed. Thank you, Mistress Jenny

Simploring 2020 (48) Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon

For my simploring tour on Monday, May 4th, I picked nothing from a list or website. I did a little bit simhopping after Mistress Jenny had left in the afternoon – and then I decided to write something about a sim that I know (at least as far as I remember) for my whole Second Life and that’s more than 12 years now: Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon. I might not remember correctly, so it may also be less than 12 years old, but for sure it is one of the places that coined my SL.

Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon is an adult place. It is for girls only and it supports RLV (Restrained Love Viewer) for adult play. It is group owned by [GA] Land Management. As far as I know Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon is owned by Amelie Sawson and Gwen Setzer. They both own a shop for cages and BDSM gear named GA. And they both own the neighbour sim “Gwen’s and Ame’s RLV Slave Storge Facility“, another great place where I spent hours already: “Store your slave in one of our high security cells”. But I might be wrong and one sim belongs to Amelie and the other to Gwen.

Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon – overview

Anyway, Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon has one main feature: a huge and widely spread underground maze consisting of tunnels, rooms, hidden doors, stairs, traps and dead end’s. The rooms are filled with furniture and gear and grouped by themes. Within the Labyrinth is one larger room, a club room called “The Bunker“, that is used for events. I remember that I often got lost in the maze and that there were real experts who knew every room and how to get there. I was not one of those.

Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon – short description / a view into “The Bunker”

The landing at Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon is at a yacht harbour. There’s a nice clubhouse nearby, that can be used to meet, to cuddle or even for events. The long wall along the yacht harour is used for advertising for other places – all of them good places in my opinion. Behind the club house is a beach (again you can sit and enjoy there) and from the beach you go a few step upwards and get to the main house.

Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon – around the landing point: yacht harbour and club house

The main house offers rooms for different kinks, a large living room, a kitchen and a bedroom, a balcony … and of course you can use it for play.

Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon – the main house, nicely furnished with style

The maze does still exist and for quite some years now the entrance is outside of the main house hidden as the entrance to a cellar. What has changed – compared to many years ago – is that it is not one single maze anymore. The cellar under the main house does not reach down that far. Instead there’s a door that functions as a teleporter and brings you to the next level (somewhere in the sky).

Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon – the maze, a few pictures from inside

Still you can get lost, but once you find an elevator or a door that is particularly marked, you can use a teleport to get out or to teleport some place else:

I really appreciate that some places like Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon do still exist and provide fun for those who are new to Second Life and the BDSM scene and for people like myself who enjoy a familiar environment and want a different background for play outside of their own homes. It does make a difference! So it really was about time, that I wrote something about it in this blog. I want to thank Ame and Gwen for providing Amelie’s Garden and Dungeon to the public and for maintaining it over so many years. I hope that there are a lot more years to come. Thank you!

Diary 2020 (97) July 3rd – 6th No title

Mistress Jenny and I met on Friday, July 3rd, in the afternoon. We caught up with our news quickly and before we went out to a club Mistress exhanged my collar again. She removed the partnering collar and let me choose which collar to wear instead. I choose my normal sub collar as the slave collar always comes with Mistress being more strict and due to my RL I desired having a bit more leeway.

We went to Puerto Esclava and watched the crowd there and read profiles and chatted amoung us. When none like Ebony is around there, Puerto Esclava can be as dead as other Stand&Model places – and she wasn’t around. Mistress came into contact with a black domme there and she’s still looking for someone who could provide kind of a vacation within SL, to whom we sub together so that we both can let our hair down.

July 3rd: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Puerto Esclava

Long story short we went with this black domme – nothing really happened as it was the first time we met her. And she’s not my cup of tea at all. Hence I suspect it will not work out (and therefore no names nor picture at the moment).

I returned at night for our Friday night party. As it was the 4th of July weekend, a theme could be easily picked – dress in red, blue or white or all together. And we had fun starting into our weekend.

July 3rd – Friday night party: Diomita, slave Flo, Angelique, Ebony, Baroness Capelo, Virgo Babii, Linda (LindaleeFox) (upper row), papafox57, Della Randt, Starbright Wingtips, Kawaii Takeda, Hotaru Takeda, Claire (maddh4tt3r), Talos (Talosborn), illa Quan, Jopy Weber

I was off Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th. I just came inworld using my old laptop and talked with Mistress Jenny and slave Flo. I’ll have a rough time ahead in RL and I might not succeed to keep up posting daily. I’ll try, but I won’t promise. So far I do have enough posts on stock for some time with less presence inworld. We will see.

I returned home Monday, July 6th, and spent a quiet night with Mistress Jenny and slave Gwendi. We used the time to change slave Gwendi into what we had planned as slave outfit for July – a simple harness with cuffs. We played greedy and Stood&Modeled at Mesmerize Dungeon. And Mistress and I had some intimate time together before bed.

Simploring 2020 (47) Paracosm

I saw a picture of Paracosm on scoop.it SL Destinations. The landmark description tempted me: “Paracosm is a D/s sim for immersionist dominance and submission, a platform for SL users who wish to facilitate the expression of our first life selves and meet others. Realplay, not roleplay.
Hence I went there spontaneously, Thursday, July 2nd, late morning.

Paracosm – A detailed fantasy world – overview and orientation map

I didn’t know what Paracosm is and looked it up on wikipedia: “A paracosm is a detailed imaginary world. Paracosms are thought generally to originate in childhood and to have one or numerous creators. The creator of a paracosm has a complex and deeply felt relationship with this subjective universe, which may incorporate real-world or imaginary characters and conventions

Impressions of Paracosm (1): The manor and the town (lower right)

Paracosm is run by a team, Sliye is the caretaker and the owner of Paracosm. It is not the more common D/s sim with places to stand & model or with lots of gear and dungeons. Paracosm is a place for Immersionist SL users who empathise with their avatars. That said, mutual respect is expected at Paracosm and there is no strict hierarchy nor are there house slaves available for everybody’s use. All is based on mutual respect as it is in a D/s relation in RL. Paracosm is intented to provide a place to immerse into a D/s world yet free of the fear of being a simple sex toy or object.

Paracosm – A detailed fantasy world: Diomita at the board starting the hunt

I had the pleasure to meet Sliye who welcomed me and she advised to do the Paracosm hunt to get familar with the sim. To attend the hunt you have to take a HUD and search little piles of acorn. You get a starting clue. Find and click each of the piles of acorns hidden sneakily around the sim to receive one digit of a pass code and the clue where to find the next pile. When you are finished you have to return to the start board and with the passcode you can open the chest with the prize. Sounds easy – is easy.

Impressions of Paracosm (2) – Smutsmith’s cottage (upper left) / at the lagoon (lower left) / the Asian garden (upper and lower right)

Yet the hunt didn’t take just 15 minutes. I spent over an hour searching the piles of acorn. The hunt has the side effect, that you explore and discover Paracosm. It is a beautiful setting, offers nice clubs with style, great D/s gear – but nothing to obvious. All fits, all has style. I simply enjoyed exploring and trying out one or the other piece of furniture.

Impressions of Paracosm (3) – classroom (upper left) / Noveau Club (upper right) / Diomita at the ballet school (Companion Guild) (lower left and right)

There is a bit for everybody: a classroom, a ballet school, a dungeon, a beach, a ballroom, a scifi bunker and many nice places an stylish furnished rooms. I really enjoyed my visit. It’s quite probable that is was not my last visit. Thank you Sliye and the whole team for Paracosm!

Diary 2020 (95) June 30th / July 1st – A Day in Control

Mistress Jenny had granted an extra green light for one single day for Tuesday, June 30th. And I had to make the most of my short time – I think I did. When we met in the afternoon, I asked Mistress to change into a submissive dress, one of the dresses I like most on her during green lights. I made her wear her short hair and the full Elegance set of cuffs and collar. Then I took her on a trip through our clubs. I wanted to enjoy having her at my feet, being in control and I wanted to expose her as my property, my owned Mistress – and I did.

We went to club Domme a Domme first and then to Puerto Esclava, where we spent most of the time of that afternoon. We caught up with our news and we talked abut us and I had only eyes for Mistress. Honestly I can’t really say what was going on at Puerto Esclava. The visits to the next clubs were shorter. We stopped by at Mesmerize Dungeon, Club DeLust and Psi’s realm, then I took Mistress home. I had something prepared for her.

June 30th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at club Domme a Domme and at Puerto Esclava

I had shared two videos with Mistress. Both videos showed helplessly tied up woman sitting naked on a sybian that was then turned on. You could see the woman struggle and fight against their arousal and then finally giving in to the sensation caused by the vibrations and the helplessness. And I wanted to have Mistress jsut like this in SL. I had prepared a sybian, I ahd positioned a leash hook on the ceiling, I had bought a rope harness … and I enjoyed Mistress’ arousal, I personally think she enjoyed it too.

June 30th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at Puerto Esclava, as Club DeLust, at Mesmerize Dungeon, at Psi’s realm (with another random slave suspended from the ceiling) and at home in the annex of our skybox

Our night was relaxed. slave Zia, slave Flo and slave Luci were around and we started off with a greedy. We went to Mesmerize Dungeon first, but when we had just arrived an RL call caught my attention for quite a while. Not much was going on there and upon my return we soon walked on to Lochme. Not that there was going on much, but we saw a few new faces (and new profiles) and had sime fun chatting about it.

June 30th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at Mesmerize Dungeon and at Lochme with slave Zia, slave Flo and slave Luci

At flotime we returned home and I had to release Mistress from her collar as my day in control was over already. I enjoyed my mini green light. As Mistress had an early start we also went off to bed.

Wednesday, July 1st, Mistress was absent during the day due to her RL. I went visiting an art gallery and I popped into Second Life a few times during the day, yet nothing really to report for the diary.
Mistress Jenny and I had a short, relaxed night. First we met Angelique, slave Fo and slave Luci at home. Angelique came to us just to say good night as she had an early start the next day. Mistress and I played a greedy first with slave Flo and slave Luci, then we went to Mesmerize Dungeon, to Lochme and to Puerto Esclava. Nowhere was really anything going on. We had to make our own fun. Flo has a funny conversation with a findomme (remark – all dommes into financial domination are from Finland, hence the name findomme). And at Puerto Esclava we also managed to initiate a bit of main chat.

July 1st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Mesmerize Dungeon, at Lochme, at Puerto Esclava and at cub Domme a Domme with slave Flo and slave Luci

We returned home at flotime and made a short stop at club Domme a Domme and then went to bed.

Art in Second Life 2020 (42) Bunkers are Us by Kaiju Kohime

I visited “Bunkers are Us” by Kaiju Kohime, an installation presented at the Green pavilion platform 1 at Itakos Project Art Gallery.

All of us need shelter. It can be a house, a tent, a church. But the past few decades we have increasingly isolated ourselves from others in ever more fortified houses with increasing security and locks. Because of the the increasing amount of threats that are bestowed upon us, like wars, climate change, exponential population growth and fast spreading diseases we have become less confident in our fellow human beings. We have retreated behind concrete masks, concrete skins, concrete bunkers.”
(taken from the accompanying notecard)

You can get to the installation “Bunkers are Us” by Kaiju Kohime either per direct teleport or by using the elevator to the platform 1 from the green pavilion at Itakos Project Art Gallery. The installation consists of several modern buildings arranged in a circle. The ground and the landscape remember of a golf course with bunkers, yet the ground is not green but made of sand like a big golf course bunker.

“Bunkers are Us” by Kaiju Kohime – Green pavilion platform 1 at Itakos Project Art Gallery – overview

The most dominant building is a church or cathedral with a concrete inner building while the outer walls and the two steeples are made of a scaffold. At the entrances to the buildings arms reach out from the ground like cries for help, the entrances themselves are narrow and often it is not easy to get in. Some animated and unanimated figures guard the entrances, static butterflies are in the air. It is a quite bizarre environment, scaring not at the first glance but on the second.

Impressions of “Bunkers are Us” by Kaiju Kohime at Itakos Project Art Gallery (1)

And inside? Some buildings contain just a red animated object that could be a beating heart. One building has books and (brocken) violins inside as if even the culture and art is imprisoned and hard to get.
The cathedral has a dead figure on the ground and an head and two arms at the altar side. Hence if you follow the cries for help and step inside the religious room you might end up as a dead body as well – but that is only my interpretation.

Impressions of “Bunkers are Us” by Kaiju Kohime at Itakos Project Art Gallery (2)

One building has another dead body lieing on the ground together with an overturned pushchair, there are some red roses and a text on the wall:

1 The world is everything that is the case.
1.1 The world is the totality of facts, not of things.
1.11 The world is determined by the facts,
and by these being all the facts.
1.12 For the totality of facts determines both what is the case,
and also all that is not the case.
1.13 The facts in logical space are the world.
1.2 The world divides into facts.
1.21 Any one can either be the case or not be the case,
and everything else remain the same.

L. Wittgenstein – TLP (1922)

Our last shelter is our skin. We hide inside our skin. But not only are we fortifying our houses, are we not becoming bunkers ourselves as well?
(taken from the accompanying notecard)

Bunkers are Us” by Kaiju Kohime is a very thoughtfully made installation that inspries to think about us and how we try to protect us and suffer because humans are social beings. By protecting us we also destroy ourselves to some extent.

Impressions of “Bunkers are Us” by Kaiju Kohime at Itakos Project Art Gallery (3)

Konrad Van Arbenlow (kaiju kohime) is in Second Life since 2007. He soon began creating with prims, until working with sculpts and mesh. He makes trees and landscape objects – and artful installations.
I first came across him when I visited “The Magical Rooms by mrs. & Mr.S” at Itakos Project Art Gallery (read here). Konrad provided some of the objects that were used in this installation.
You can see more of Konrad’s art on his flickr page.

The Itakos Art Gallery is owned and curated by Akim Alonzo with the assistance of Violet Boa. Actually it is a place for arts with 7 exhibition rooms or pavillons: White, Black, Grey, Blue, Orange, Purple, Green Pavillion. There’s also a website where new exhibtions are announced.

Art in Second Life 2020 (41) Summertime by Cica Ghost

I got a invitatation to visit “Summertime“, Cica Ghost’s newest installation that opened Friday, July 10th. I was prevented from going there right away, but I found some time today.

The thought that Cica selected for ther newest installation can be found in the landmark description: “Summertime is always the best of what might be. (Charles Bowden)

Summertime by Cica Ghost – landing and overview

I like Cica’s installations as they always succeed to make me smile. This time Cica created happy cows and placed them in a Summer environment. You’re asked to keep the selected windlight, to switch “Advanced Lighting Model” on and to use shadows set to “Sun/Moon + Projectors”.

Impressions of Summertime by Cica Ghost (1)

Summertime is an island with some nice hills, the ground is a bit structured like a chess board, it has green ad dry areas. Spread over the sim are clay objects, some looking like vases of flowers, other like open boxes or even old wagons. Trees and flowers grow in or out the clay objects. They have blossoms in different colours. Yet the all look as if the crave for more water ….

The objects do also provide shadow and if you sit in them on a chair or bed, you’re in the shadow. And there are cows, alone or in groups and they all have the typical Cica-ish look, funny and peacefully and with google-eyes. And you hear their muuuuuh every once in a while. The cows are not the only inhabitants. There’s also a laying battery for chicken, so you can have eggs and milk for your Summer breakfast!

And yes you also find a cat at Summertime! I won’t give away where, but it is not hard to find. What else? A clay helicopter to sit in and to flay around and a clay cinema where you can watch a Cica matchstick figure riding a bicycle. And there’s also a shop where you can purchase a cow (or two or more *winks*)

No attempt to interpret anything – just enjoy Cica’s Summertime!
Thank you, Cica 🙂
