Simploring 2021 (27) Ilha Do Sol

For my simploring tour on Monday, June 21st, I picked “Ilha Do Sol” from scoop it SL Destinations.

Ilha de Sol is Portugese and translates to “Island of the sun”. It consists of 3 connected moderate homesteads – Taal Lake, Norton and Peace. Ilha de Sol is owned by Syx Toshi and his partner Bryn Toshi (Bryn Bulloch).
The landmark description wraps it up in just a few words:
“Island of the sun. A beautiful Mediterranean Island. Come and enjoy our town, vineyards and beaches. Surfing, horseback riding, bicycling and much more.“

The landing is right in the center of a small town, that radiates the atmosphere of the Mediterranean. The town is livened up with quite some static figures, hence you’re not alone there. Tourists and photographers stroll through the town. And on the central marketplace there are also dealers at the stands. I sat down at a caf´e from where I could watch and enjoy the atmosphere.

At the market you find the entrance to a tunnel. The tunnel leads to the surf beach. It is a very long beach. Along the beach you find several camps of surfers as well as a few buildings. But the main purpose of the beach is – surfing. at the end of the beach is a surf board rezzer. You can see the 2 big waves on the ocean, that are “surfable” in Second Life. I never surfed so far and hence I postponed it.

Instead a visited the surf shop. It is not an inworld store for surf boards and accessoires. The shop is just very decorative and looks “real”. There’s someone at the register, there are customers in- and outside, there’re a lot of surf boards, a shop to repairing boards and a lot of decoarations and details. It’s a great place for taking pictures as well as just to explore and enjoy.

I left the beach of Ilha Do Sol and took another way back in the direction of the town. The road led me into the countryside. I came by a little garden with fruit trees, sunflowers and a few chicken. And I came by a hut with a horse rezzer in front of it. I took a horse and rode into the contryside.

I visited the vine terraces and came to a private residence, most probably the home of Syx Toshi and his partner Bryn Toshi (Bryn Bulloch), who own the sim. The rest of this homestead (the private residence is on the homestead “peace”) is free to visit and offers real countryside, a bit meagre but typical for the Mediterranean. I for my part liked the natural beauty of the landscape a lot. And there is a large and lonely beach. As rezzing is allowed you could bring your beach gear with your and enjoy the loneliness. You’d never get that in RL *winks*.

Somehow I felt like I should try the surfing once being here. Hence I changed into my swimsuit and rezzed a board. I got a quite detailed notecard with instructions. Surfing in SL can be tricky and needs practice. But there’s also an option for beginners and an easy mode – and I tried that. It was real fun! YAY!

I had a great time at Ilha Do Sol. It was quite like a short virtual vacation. I could almost smell the Mediterranean. Thank you Syx (Syx Toshi) and Bryn (Bryn Bulloch) for sharing your great and lovely place publicly. I really enjoyed my visit like a short vacation!

Saturday, June 26th, I met with Mistress Jenny for an hour in the afternoon. Mistress was already inworld when I came online and she summoned me to club Domme a Domme. She leashed me, which is according to the rules Mistress Jenny set for me, the sign to kneel next to her. Already while we caught up I had the impression that Mistress was in a quite dominant mood. And I wasn’t mistaken about her mood. While we were at club Domme a Domme, Mistress reminded me of the slave collar that I was wearing and that she expects that slaves wear either no shoes at all or ballet boots. And hence I had to take off my pumps.
Mistress knows exactly that I dislike that (for me at least). Accordingly it pushed me deeply into my submission to Mistress Jenny and made her and my position very clear.
Mistress Jenny took me to club DeLust afterwards for a few minutes, then she had to leave to tend to her RL – and I left too to tend to mine.

At night we played a skipee with Angelique first. slave Melissa came inworld, just when we had finished our game. we went to Psi’s realm where we stayed the rest of the night. I teased latex doll slave Melissa playing with her vision HUD and with the blindfold. And i watched the Italian game against Austria on a second screen – and of course slave Melissa, who is Italian, did the same. Hence we had something to talk about in IM.
As Mistress Jenny had an early start the next day, we returned home early and went off to bed.

Sunday, June 27th, was a laszy day for me. I spent quite some time inworld, often idling at Heavy Bondage Club, Puerto eslava and club DeLust and doing other stuff in RL. In the afternoon I visited a gallery to do something productive. Mistress Jenny was not inworld during the day.
At night Mistress Jenny and I played a skipee as teasm with Angelique and Flo and then we went to Carnal Intentions. we had a few IM and a bit of chatting. It was a very relaxed night, beside that I miss my shoes! After Flo and Angelique had left for bed, Mistress took me to clubd Domme a Domme for a bit – and that’s it about Sunday.

Art in Second Life 2021 (62) SOLSTICE – The Dark Side of the Sun by Sophie de Saint Phalle and Luxor Ragnarok

I was invited by Sophie de Saint Phalle (perpetua1010) to attend the opening of her latest exhibtion “SOLSTICE – The Dark Side of the Sun“. It is a joint artwork with Luxor Ragnarok, a German media architect, artist and philosopher.
Unfortunately I missed the opening event, instead I visited a day afterwards on Sunday, June 20th.

The exhibition is in a ultra modern tall building with three floors and a roof top event area. I took a few pictures of the building at daytime to get an impression how it looks. Next to the building is a modern place with high poles and other architectutual elements. The smaller poles of this place glow in the dark. The building itself is a piece of art – in particular when you use the shared environment settings (I assume it’s midnight), where the illumination of the building, the poles and the rooftop event area can fully develop. You should keep the environment settings and turn music on.

The exhibition itself extends over all three floors. On the ground floor is an exhibition called “Locked Psychiatric Ward”, that is inspired by Sophie’s work as medical art therapist. In the center is an permanet changing object with several faces that displays short stories about patients in German. At the walls Sophie showcases black and white pictures, portraits of people who are inmates in a psychiatric clinic. It’s a quite depressing atmosphere.

On the 2nd floor are paintings from Sophie’s art collection “RED EXPRESSIONS” displayed in a mystical and almost transparent way. They are combined with light, shadow and sound effects from Luxor Ragnarok. Sphie wrote about it: “Experience art with all your senses and feel how we all are connected in harmony. See art, touch art, feel art, hear art (taste and smell art coming soon in SL *winks*)”
The 2nd floor is a good example how art, that can’t develop just in a gallery, can be presented in a very different way in Second Life making the visit an particular experience. Light, transparency and shadows lifts the artwork to another level.

The 3rd floor is dedicated to an art performance that was presented at the opening event. The performance had 3 parts: “Trapped – Caught in ourselves, Restrained. Are you comfortable?”, “Fear – What holds you back? What are you afraid of? Why?” and “Release – Overcome yourself. Reveal your reality and enjoy whatever it might be.”
Photos in black and white at the walls were captured by Sophie de Saint Phalle during a Real life performance, the unique Second Life performance (that I didn’t see) was created by Luxor Ragnarok. Except of one picture the photos are hard to see, they are dived into blue light and you can only recognize contours. Sophie told me that the Real Life performance, where these pictures were taken, dealt with breaking free from restraints, with the escape from imprisonment.
In the center is a place with several hooks suspended from the ceiling. The hooks are used for Shibari rope bondage art. The bondage in this case was used to symbolize restraints. I tied myself to demonstrate it (just for the arts! *laughs*)

Finally there’s the rooftop, the place of the event after the opening. This rooftop disco is really worth a visit even without any people.

Sophie de Saint Phalle (perpetua1010) is a Austrian RL painter and book author. She mainly paints nude from models and abstract art. She loves to experiment with different kinds of paint and lithography. Her favourite materials are sand, plaster, glue, terracotta, stones, bones, ash, charcoal, natural pigments and more.
Sophie has made several book illustrations and was for many years political cartoonist for a well known satire magazine. She lived and worked in the Unites States, Australia, Rome and Monaco.

Sophie de Saint Phalle (perpetua1010) has an own gallery, The “SUBCUTAN Art Gallery and Multimedia Centre“. While the Art shown on the ground floor can be purchased directly at site, the art peices on the the first and second floor can be bought at SUBCUTAN Galleries.

Sophie told me that the exhibition “SOLSTICE – The Dark Side of the Sun” by Sophie de Saint Phalle and Luxor Ragnarok should have stayed open for visitors for a couple of weeks. And she intended to redo the performance just for me. Sadly, a few days later the told me that the place and the exhibition are gone unfortuantely –  art in Second Life is temporory! Hence this blogpost is what is left from the exhibition and the event.  It really was worth the visit for Sophie’s art, for the light effects and how the art is showcased and for the ultra modern building.

Thursday, June 24th, I had some unexpected free time in the early morning and used it for a simploring tour. In the afternoon I met with Mistress Jenny. slave Holly was present and we took her with us to Carnal Intentions, where she decorated us well while Mistress and I caught up with our mutual news. Faye (Boy Serenity) joined us as well.
After Mistress Jenny had left to tend to her RL I stayed at Carnal Intentions with Faye and slave Holly. I began to play with their nipples using clamps and I had fun teasing them. And my bratty niece Angelique also came by. As always time flies by when you have fun.

My night started with playing skipee together with Flo and slave Holly until Mistress Jenny came inworld. We went to Psi’s realm that night – and it became a good night. There was always something going on at Psi’s. Mistress Jenny and I teased slave Holly a lot. Flo’s therapy was going on, I just had to send an electric shock every once in a while. Later I blindfolded slave Holly and didn’t leave much vision. Poor slave girl had to pee. I rezzed a bucket – and made her search it. She found ti quite quickly yet had difficulties returning to me *grins.
Mistress got a nice chair, I used another guest at Psi’s to be be her chair. A fun night at Psi’s realm.

At flotime we returned home and Mistress wanted me to use slave Holly in our office. Mistress watched while I fucked her ass and denied her cuming. It can be fun to be mean … well it is most often fun to be mean.

Friday, June 25th, I spent an hour inworld in the later monring. slave Holly was inworld and I took her with me to Heavy Bondage Club where she decorated me very well. She (and I) enjoyed some time to talk about the last days just amoung us.
In the afternoon, I met with Mistress Jenny at Heavy Bondage Club. She was away in family affairs the last week – even though she had managed to be also inworld with us – and is back home now. We caught up with our mututal news, wathed what was going on at Heavy Bondage Club and we fixed the theme for our party at night.

June 25th – at Heavy Bondage Club: Diomita and slave Holly / Mistress Jenny and Diomita

At night we had our party: “It’s Friday and still it is one of the longest Fridays of the year. Enjoy midsummer, wear something short, very short, a dress, a skirt … even nothing … or come as you are of course and party with us. DJ Virgo is spinning the tunes.”

We had a great time together again – and we had a great turnout. Another Summer weekend ahead!

Art in Second Life (61) Anima – A Retrospective on Photography by Akim Alonzo

I was invited to attend the opening of the exhibtion “Anima – A Retrospective on Photography” by Akim Alsonzo at Kondor Art Center on June 25th. I visited the day after….

The exhibition is shown at the main building of the Kondor Art Center. As the name implies, it features a broad variety of Akim’s artwork. The gallery building has 2 floors and offers quite a lot of space for displaying. In the center at the staircase is a picture frame where the pictures showcased in this exhibition are displayed as a slideshow with smooth fading transisitons.

Anima – A Retrospective on Photography” by Akim Alonzo at Kondor Art Center

I came across Akim Alonzo in 2019 the first time, when his art was featured at La Maison d’Aneli (read here). And I had seen some of the pictures shown at “Anima – A Retrospective on Photography” already there. These pictures are loosely based on the cult movie “The Matrix”. A metaphor for a world of people trapped in a simulated, virtual reality that has many aspects in common with the Secondlife world. And most of them have surrealistic elements.

Akim Alonzo’s other passion are portraits. Most of them are in black and white or monochrome. Akim succeeds to capture the expression of a face, the soul, at least something that makes the spectator build a story to the portrait. He selects the background very thought fully, so that it doesn’t distract from the portrait but combines and eneases building a story.

Akim Alonzo is a traveller and photographer and has a passion for art. He’s the owner, artistic director, and curator of his “Itakos Project and Art Gallery“. And he has an own website.

Tuesday, June 22nd, was another varied day in Second Life. I was inworld in the morning, actually to check La Maison d’Anele, but the last of the 6 artists featured hasn’t yet finished the installation and hence I returned home. I met a friend there and I also talked with Angelique, then I went off.
In the afternoon I had a quite intense hour with Mistress Jenny. First thin when we met was that she gagged and blindfolded me, then she took me to club Domme a Domme where we stayed until Mistress had to leave. We caught up with our mutual news and – quite obviously – I was fully focused on Mistress Jenny. Mistress had some private chats and in the end Mistress ungagged me and I was invited to a group chat. One subject of the conversation was I myself and of course it was not easy to remain silent and to make no remarks. Mistress told me later that she was proud of me *smiles*.
After Mistress had left to tend to her RL I went to Puerto Esclava and met my current roleplay partner there (by accident) and I stayed far longer than I had intended. In the meanwhile slave Holly had logged in and had finished cleaning the house. I made her stay in the corner and wait there for me. slave Holly’s obedience is impressive. When I finally came home, she had stayed 45 min in the corner – without any complaint, good slave girl. I had to reward her and I did. I blindfolded her, stripped and allowed her to lick me to a lovely orgasm. And as I could pee – I also used her as my toilet. I hope that I didn’t spoil her too much *winks*

Our night was comparably quiet and relaxed. First Mistress Jenny, Flo and I played a skipee. Angelique joined us when we were just done. We went to Carnal Intentions and stayed there. And after Flo and Angelique had went off to bed, Faye (Boy Serenity) came to us and decorated us well. We mostly chatted amoung us and Mistress and I did tease slave Holly. But mostly we had a really relaxed night.

Wednesday, June 23rd, I was inworld in around lucnh time and made a quick round through the clubs. It happened that I had a nice conversation at club DeLust – and Faye showed up. We sat on the sofa there and then also Mistress Jenny came inworld unexpectedly. We caught up quickly with our new, then I had to leave.

In the afternoon I had one hour with Mistress Jenny. She took me to club Domme a Domme and exposed me there at the failed Domme sign. And then I had to pee. I was very grateful that I was allowed to go home, then I met Mistress Jenny again at Puerto Esclava. We had a nice hour together there.

Art in Second Life 2021 (60) Visions of Spring 2021 by Nils Urqhart

I visited Visions of Spring 2021, a new exhibtion of Nis Urqhart, currently shown at his own gallery, the Art Gallery Rill’Arts.

It’s not my first visit to the Art Gallery Rill’Arts. From Nils himself I saw his exhibtion “A Winter Tale 2020” at this gallery before (read here).

“Visions of Spring 2021” is an exhibition with about 40 new Real Life pictures that have never been shown before. The exhibition extends over the ground floor and the second floor. There are about 4 themes: macro pictures of blossoms some with insects sitting on them, pictures of blooming flowers, ducks and storks, and farms. All pictures show the high professional photography art of Nils Urqhart. The motifs are selected thoughtfully and for sure it takes time to get a picture of an insect on a blossom – or of a duck eating a small fish.
I liked in particular the macro pictures.

Nils Urqhart (Paul Maurice in RL) is a French photographer in RL. He takes his photos mainly in French Alps and other French mountains (Vosges, Jura, Bugey, Aubrac…). Nils has a lot of exhibitions in different SL galleries every year. You can get a list with all of his current exhibition from the board with his biography, right next to the entrance of the Art Gallery Rill’Arts.
Nils is in SL since December 2007. Since 2010, his photos have been on display year-round at Art gallery Rill’Arts. Nils (or Paul in RL) has an own website where you can purchase his pictures to decorate you RL home.

Nils was present during my visit and he told me that the exhibition shall stay open to the public until September 2021.

Diary 2021 (82) June 20th/21st Surfing Second Life

Sunday was relaxed for me in both world. I was inworld in the morning and continued working on the post about the current exhibtion at La Maison d’Aneli (read here). I visited another gallery, then I went off.
In the afternoon I bought a new toilet cube. I need a toilet that I can use easily and quickly when I have to pee unexpectedly. slave Holly was inworld and I tried it out, yet first without peeing acutally. The cube was not how I expected it. The slave gets a mask and a tube, but the tube didn’t connect with the funnel at all but was entirely outside of the cube. I tried several way to midify the cube and finally found a way to have the tube connected.
Angelique came by and was surprised and a bit disgusted seeing what I was installing. And just that moment I had to pee. I sent Angelique off and used slave Holly for the first time. That worked well! Afterwards I went with Angelique and slave Holly to Puerto Esclava. I didn’t stay long though as I had a chance to continue my (secret) roleplay.

I had fun with my roleplay. Mistress Jenny came inworld and told me to continue having fun. We just spoke in IM …. then I had to leave for RL. I went on another gallery visit tour in the later afternoon before dinner.

Mistress Jenny had fun herself and hence we had a lot to catch p with when we returned at night. We talked almost one hour, just to catch up. slave Holly and Flo were playing skipee in the meantime. We finally went down and took them to Carnal Intentions where we spent the rest of the night. When Flo went off to bed we returned home soon after and Mistress Jenny and I retreated to our skybox. And Mistress allowed me to lick her and to get my so badly needed fix. I’m fully addicted. Thank you Mistress Jenny.

It was a full and varied Sunday.

Monday, June 21st, I had time for a simploring tour after lunch. It became a longer tour not only because the place I visited was quite large and there was a lot to discover. I surfed for the first time in my life. Ok, just in Second Life. Ok, just with a beginner board set at the easiest level. Ok, in RL it is way harder (I assume). But I had a lot of fun. Faye called me to say hello and I invited her over. But she had no swimsuit and trusted that her fetish clothes would dry easily and won’t take any damage. She’s right with that, still it looked a bit weired. Faye had not yet surfed in Second Life either, but in RL. She will get herself a swimsuit and try it again.
My first surfing in Second Life inspired me for the title of this diary post.

I returned in the later afternoon and Mistress Jenny was already inworld. slave Holly and Faye were inworld as well and we took the two to Carnal Intentions where we stayed over an hour, mostly chatting between us.

We – Mistress Jenny, Angelique, Flo, slave Holly and I spent the night also at Carnal Intentions. We had fun chatting and teasing. There was some mainchat and Flo and slave Holly got new admirers. Time flies by when you have fun. Nothing else really to report for the diary at least.

Art in Second Life 2021 (59) Symphony in Red by Melusina Parkin

I visited the exhibtion “Symphony in Red” by Melusina Parkin at her Melusina Photo Gallery, that opened mid of June. The gallery is located upsatirs of Melusina Parkin’s store “Melu Deco“, that offers Art Deco furniture, lamps, rugs and home accessories. Many of the items are copies of famous 1920-40s designers’ objects.

Melusina Parkin’s photos tend towards minimalism, which is Melu’s main inclination: simple details from daily life or usual landscapes are the subject of mostly empty scenes, stressing voids, space, geometries, lights; this reveals hidden meanings or pushes the observer to give them her/his own one. Her favorite subjects are wide landscapes, city views, industrial environments, popular lifestyles and daily objects.

For her exhibtion “Symphony in Red” Melusina picked pictures that are just a bit less minimalisitc and shows “how the warm light of the afternoons, the bright colors (first, the reds!), the crowded images can be another amazing way to see our world and its details.“

Many of the showcased pictures reminded me of of her exhibition “Roadside”, which I visited last year (read here). Yet the red tones, the warmth of the afternoon sun, make a difference. Still Meulisna’s pictures force the viewer to focus on the main details and by this you get drawn into her pictures and begin to spin your own story around them.
I’m quite intrigued of her style and “Symphony in Red” is in my eyes another collection of masterpieces.

In the center of the exhibition room you find a table with books. Those who are regular visitors to Melusina Parkin’s exhibitions know these books already:
Melusina All-in-One Exhibits allow you to keep at home the whole exhibit you visited and loved. It’s an alternative kind of the exhibit catalogue: you can hang the object on your home’s walls and enjoy the changing images.
They come in four versions, that you can choose according to your home style: plain or framed, changing image by touch or in random loop. The objects are set as modifiable, so you can adapt them to your walls.

Melusina Parkin is in Second Life since September 2008. She has been a fashion manager, a journalist, a furniture creator, a builder, a decorator and a photographer. Her work as a photographer has been showcased in more than 50 exhibitions – from which I saw just a few. Melusina has a flickr account which counts more than 13,000 (!) photographs. Extensive collections of her photos can be seen also on her blog Virtual Exhibits and on some slideshows on Youtube (links under this post).

The exhibition “Symphony in Red” shall stay open for visitors at least until end of July. Enjoy your visit!

Diary 2021 (81) June 18th/19th – The red therapy suit

Friday, June 18th, I spent quite some time inworld, often idling. I hoped to see or meet Mistress Jenny, but she didn’t show up during the day. I got in no serious roleplay, nor did anything happen while I was inowrld. No, that’s wrong, something did happen, I got another advice from Dr. Thight’s staff regarding the best ways to accelerate Flo’s recovery:
“Dr. Tight choose the red type of therapy suit – this item show better fit and is best to heal spine diseases within much shorter periods then the yellow one – expected success will show in few weeks up to less then 6 month.
Therapy recommendation: its absolutely important to follow strict lacing – if needed this suit is equipped with “Frenemy” electrodes to measure the wearer health. So therefore its no need to listen any complain – if needed the electrodes can be used in reverse way to to bring the patient in calming mood. Be careful in use of the stimulation mood, good ability to breath is recommended – maybe even the need of a supplementary oxygen mask.”
I met Flo shortly and found that a nice assistent to Dr. Thight had put Flo already into the red suit. And I got a remote control for the “Frenemy”. Poor Flo … but we have to follow Dr. Tight’s recommendations.

What else? I fixed a theme for our Friday night party: “It is quite hot, the longest day of the year is close and it is Friday. Let’s party! Dress hot and red, daring and shiny or just come as yo are, even naked. DJ Virgo is spinning the tunes.“

I played a skipee with Flo at night. While we were playing slave Holly and Mistress Jenny came inworld. We finished our game and went to the dancefloor. Mistress Jenny and I had a lot to catch up with and time flew by while we danced and had fun with some banter and some main chat. We had another great start into our Summer weekend.

Saturday, June 19th, I visited La Maison d’Aneli to prepare the next blog entry about the exhibtion that would open June 23rd (and should be still open at the time his post is published – read here).
After my visit I had a short continuation of a roleplay that I began recently (no, that is tpp personal and I won’t report about it here).
In the afternoon I was busy putting together my blogpost aout my visit to La Maison d’Aneli. I stayed inworld and when slave Holly and Flo came inworld, I took them to Puerto Esclava to expose them and to decorate me while I finished writing. To my surprise and unexpectedly Mistress Jenny joind us there. We caught up with our news and teased Flo and slave Holly. I made us of the above mentioned “Frenemy” and gave Flo some zaps, in particular when she made use of her abbreviations for our names again.
Mistress Jenny was in a quite dominant and cruel mood and she let me feel it by ordering me to set my tinkler into hardcore mode. Now I not only can’t control my bladder, I can’t even plan ahead when I have to go peeing. I have to hope that slave Holly is near so that I can use her. I could use her at least that afternon and went home with her shortly to empty my bladder.

June 19th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Puerto Esclava and at home with Flo and slave Holly

While we were at Puerto Esclava we noticed that a sub, who was there, had left Puerto Esclava to explore our homeplace. I met the sub, her name is Jami Foxtrot, when I was at home to pee. After I had returned to Puerto Esclava Jami stayed at our place and ran into several traps. Mistress Jenny and I returned home with slave Holly (Flo had already left earlier) and we met Jami there and had a chat with her. Who knows, she might return….
It was already time for dinner when I finally left to tend to my RL.

My and our night was varied and nice. When I came inworld slave Holly was present and we talked a bit in IM. slave Holly became a bit unattentive and missed addressing me properly and I had to punish her. I went down to see her and was about to punish her, when I had to pee …. hence first I used my slave toilet and then punished her with some hard slaps on her bum. I’m sure she got the message crytal clear.
In the meanwhile Flo and Angelique were present too and after saying hello to them Mistress Jenny also came inworld. We went to Psi’s realm where Faye joined us. It was a night full of chat amoung us and teasing the slaves – and Mistress Jenny teased me in addition.

After Flo and Angelique had left for bed, Mistress Jenny and I spent half an hour at Carnal Intentions with Faye and slave Holly, then we returned home and went off to bed. It was a relaxed and varied night within the family.
