Autumn Break and belated Celebrations

Next Monday Diomita and I will have been partnered for 3 years. I have heard a lot of people say that this is a long time for SL. I would agree with that and what makes it more special is the fact that we have spent a lot of time together during those three years and we both log in daily.
I can’t begin to explain what clicked between us but it seems that we get along very well and we understand eachother in thoughts and needs. So for us the 3 year anniversary will be a special occasion.
Unfortunately for us it falls in the Autumn break and we are both away on Monday. Diomita is away until Saturday and I will be visiting family then work again during the week. We both look forward to our Friday night dance with the brilliant Virgo playing the tunes and we decided that to celebrate properly we should re arrange everything until Friday 4th Nov. We have some plans for that night and we will let everybody know soon. It will involve great music, a lovely location on the beach and the best people in SL. So if you know us well enough to read this blog then we hope to see you there.

In the lead up to our break we have been having a bit of fun with our family. We would like a family of picture of everybody wearing black latex and restraints. If we get everybody together that would be a blessing so if you see our girls dressed like this you know why. Again the release date might coincide with the 4th Nov or it may not depending on how good Diomita is at finding her set of keys.

One last thing, if you see us both on line before our party and we seem to be a little occupied please bear with us, we might just be making good use of a little time together in private celebrations. Well a wife has to be selfish once in a while. 🙂

Contest

Today we set a contest to our family members and we include our friends too.

We built a beach as a retreat for our family and subs for them to relax and enjoy each others company. We have bought some things that fit in perfectly with the island theme and the contest is for the best name for the beach.

Well that may have been a big mistake, we made such a good job of it that I would like to call it Domme Bay and have a hitching post for subs just over the hill 🙂 . But a promise is a promise so take a look and see if you have the perfect name for your retreat.

Time to relax after all the hard work is done

I know that we are both very pleased with our new home and happier than we have ever been.

What a week

As Domita said we were evicted at short notice from Dragon Cove. Just to explain how short the notice was, we were talking sitting in a chair made for two when without warning I was in freefall and by the time I hit the ground the quarter sim we rented between us was empty.

This week has been busy. Without a doubt.

We found a Homestead and within minutes we had decided that it was the place for us.

A blank sheet and lots to do it was also an oportunity to learn more about the place (SL) that fills our life. I asked if I might be allowed to try my hand at a bit of landscaping and after about 6 hours on day two I was surprised by how much I had learnt and done. A sim with the name of Mount Everest deserves a feature and I found out that using a snow texture in the region settings and playing with the height spread I made something that looks quite natural.

Now the rush…….

We both wanted so much to have everything ready for our Friday night Disco.

Ideas were swapped and a lot of work was done by all so that we had everything in place.

Thank you very much to Virgo and Starry for helping with the finishing touches. We always wanted the Friday night dances to be something for everybody in an inclusive way and tonight I felt that it all came together as best as it ever could. It really did feel like family and friends coming together for a relaxing dance and chat. As always there is banter and most of all great music.

After all the negative feelings of being evicted and fighting for our rent owed, within 3 days we were dancing in the sunset with some of the nicest people in SL.

Life is what you make it.

That is true for RL and SL alike.

We have one hell of time together and I am sure Fridays will get bigger and better in our new home.

When I log in tomorrow Sunday 5th Jun 2011, it will be just like any other day. Except the first thing I will do is kneel with my leash in my mouth offering it for my Mistress to take.
What ever we do in our SL one thing will always remain the same. Diomita will be my Mistress and I will always belong to her first. Everything else comes after that and it is how we have survived this long and why we are still going strong. There are a whole lot less arguments which makes more time for enjoyment.
Tomorrow marks 3 years since my collar was locked on me. It also marks the start of year 4 and hopefully many more to come.

Rez day message

We are currently working our way through our family with the ‘Talking About’ series.
However as it is my 3 year rez day I would like to interrupt it with a short message.
Time seems to be flying by and that only happens when you are having a good time. One other thing is very true.
I am very sure I would not have made it to 3 years if it was not for the family and friends I have made. You are the reason I come here and am still enjoying my time in SL. I thank you all
Particular thanks go to my best friend, owner Mistress wife and partner. You make me feel happy every time I meet you. Thank you for everything you bring to my worlds.
I hope the next 12 months fly just as quickly and that I can write a message exactly the same as this one. Love to you all

Getting to know you

Looking at a lot of profiles particularly the 1st Life tab, I often see many different ways that people want to keep their RL private and separate from SL.

I appreciate this and I would not ask anybody to talk about anything more than they are comfortable with. However there are a few ways that we can learn more about each other and develop as close friends and learn about different cultures without giving anything personal away.

One of those ways is by using You Tube to create a group account and for all members to have their own play list. Diomita and I have a family log in and we are adding to our lists all the time.

It is especially beneficial when you visit a Zone that has little or poor music. Listening to each other’s personal song lists and learning about new music that you would not have come across in any other way.

Feel free to use this idea or if you are family and want to join our log in then ask Diomita or me for the password.

Changing Names

Two years ago Goddess sent a message out to the whole family asking everybody to think of something special they would like for Christmas. It made me think about the things I really would like from SL as in the surface I already had everything .

One of the things I did want was a way to show everybody I was Mrs jenny Maurer.

Diomita knew this and we looked at ways to do it. Somebody had already used Jenny Maurer and had long since stopped using SL. I would have started again with that name if I could. I would also have paid Linden Labs for a name change in the same way that you can pay to partner. For me it would have been money well spent.  With no obvious way to make the change at the time we had the great idea of giving me a Eurobrat group tag of Jenny Maurer. I was proud to wear it and it went a long way to show people who I was.  My name Laylady Lay seemed like a fun thing at the time and when I started off in SL I was not sure where it would lead or even if I would like it, so I chose a fun name instead of my real name  just in case I wanted to remain in SL but not give away much about my RL.

The only problem was when I went someplace where I had to wear a group tag. I had to look out for  people calling me Lay and if any of my friends were around it sometimes caused a bit of confusion.

So I was very happy to hear that SL was to allow name changes. I saw a lot of forums discussing the pros and cons and I understand a lot of the arguments against allowing people to change names. Having a 7 day lock after every change should stop the ‘griefers’.  It also means that if you are having a bit of playful fun that you have to remember the consequences.

Our loyal Slave Santana knows this all too well as he is now named Little Tiger for the next 7 days. If you want to know why I recommend that you find him in world and see for yourself. It all happened as a spur of the moment thing and it had Yar and me in stitches while our plan developed. Thank you Tiger for the smiles you gave us.

Back to myself.  I am very very happy to now be known officially as Jenny Maurer.  Something I really wanted 2 years ago has become a reality. What did I ask for two years ago? Well that will remain a secret between Goddess, Diomita and me.

Please enjoy name changes in SL and I fully recommend updating to the latest versions of Phoenix or SL.

Something to smile about

Something to smile about now that winter approaches.

In 4 weeks time on the 24th October Diomita and I became Partners 2 years ago.

That day will always be important to us and as it falls on a Sunday this year it gives us a very good reason to celebrate all weekend.

We will be starting off at BRATZ night club on Friday the 22nd October . We have yet to decide the theme but we will be providing spot prizes for the competition boards. So please come if you are able and join in the fun.

We hope to see all our family and friends over the weekend and that is why we are giving out as much warning as we can so we can see you if you are on line. We understand that RL must always come first  J and then coming in SL is more fun.

This gives me an opportunity to say something about my special wife:

In these past few months we have found our partnership growing beyond anything we ever deamed it could. We are exploring new things and meeting more people.  Both families are growing with new members and friends and SL  still brings a smile to our faces. We both hope it does the same for you

Some Things Never Change

These past few days I have been doing a gentle re run of my trial for my Mistress Diomita Maurer.  I say Gentle as for the first trial I was locked away all of the time except for a mini whirl wind of buying and adding scripts to my restraints.

I felt at that time like I would never be quick enough or know as much as my Mistress to be, and at times I felt flooded by the amount of things I had to get right in no time at all.  Diomita was very forceful and impatient then and I did not wish to spoil my chances of passing that trial.

Looking to now,,,,

A lot has changed, my Mistress has more patience and I know a lot more than I did then, so this trial was to satisfy my desire to do something meaningful and special for my best friend. In Sl there have been a lot of changes recently. A lot of the pay for pick boards I used to visit have gone. They have been replaced by Midnight mania boards which have a mixture of tat, fun items and some even have quality things worth looking for on a regular basis. If you want a quick tour of a few Im me and I will be happy to show you mine if you show me yours 🙂

A lot of sims have come from out of the blue, set up and vanished just as quickly. It seems to be more difficult now to build a place that has a new slant on the BDSM theme. To be successful Sims need people and the right people at that.  We are lucky to have a lovely circle of family and friends, and sometimes when we spend some extra time with them and care to take a better look we realise just how special they are. Dio and I try not to take sides when things go wrong. We love you all as our friends and for that reason we can’t just let you go just like that. So even when family roles change our friendship need not.

Our home plot has recently changed a lot. We have been lucky that our friends have wanted to come and visit us. The new house looks cheerful and homely. The new play area promising and we have a better lay out for the beach and out buildings now. On the beach we have our itan dance ball with lots of dances in it. We have been saying to our family and friends to feel free to use the beach if you would like a quiet place to hide. We got a similar invite from Nic and JC which we will be taking up very soon.  (We know bring a clean set of bed linen).  We promise you will never know we have been there.

So today I start my third year wearing my collar given to me by my wonderful Mistress, Diomita Maurer. It is something I wear with pride. I will never hide it. It comes off only when it needs repairs and I feel lost when that is necessary. I have been allowed a new set of rules to mark my 2 years and these will become more evident as we develop into our new roles.

However, I am owned. I always will be as long as I come to SL and I belong to somebody who is very special to my RL as much as SL . That will never change.
