Halloween town

Last night, Wednesday October 26th, Mistress Jenny and I went visiting Halloween townWelcome to Halloween Town! We have Haunted Houses, Rides, Horror Movies, and much more! Scary, Rides, Fun, Haunted, Games, Movies!” We explored Halloween town hunting for pumpkins with gifts. There are several rides and a lot of ghosts and zombies at Halloween town. So when you love Halloween, it might be worth visiting for that.

Regarding the pumpkin prizes the little ghost decoration we got is nice as well as a pretty well made clown mask, but these masks have a negative touch this year. I did trash or did not accept the other prizes as the come not in a folder or box but as single parts that sort into my inventory by their group (cloths, object, texture, etc..) and would be hard to identify later on. Overall we had more than one hour fun, Mistress had more fun than me as she’s quick and I had my difficulties to follow her – for example in the transparent maze where I was lost not seeing her anymore.

There’s still time enough until October, 31st to see Halloween town, if you like to. Have fun!

A visit to Duet

On Saturday, October 22nd, I went simploring – to Duet. I came across Duet by following tuppislife blog, and in particular her entry on the occasion of her 11th (!) rezz day “11th Rez Day Fun“, where she mentioned this sim. I really recommend this blog entry because it describes how our Second Life has changed over all these years.
Back to Duet. Let’s start with the description given in the landmark “Set Home and rez here! Welcome – enjoy our photographic scenes, props & poses! Come for the space ride, cloud dance with ad free radio, tai chi & camp or romance & date in our woods, meadows castle, beach. No sex or nudity.”

20161022 a visit to Duet: Where to go first?

20161022 a visit to Duet: Where to go first?

That sums it up quite well. Duet is a sim for photographers and it is perfect for cuddling and dancing. Joining the group provides rezz rights and admittance to some areas and I think the L20 are really fair. When you enter you get a notecard with the sim rules as well as a list what to do at Duet, and there is really a lot to see and to experience. Riding the Freefall is for sure the unique attraction. This 8 minute space ride is crammed with animations, visual and audio special effects. Here are just a few impressions, it is awesome and I want repeated the ride together with Mistress as soon as possible.20161022-duet_034

Then there are a lot of different surroundings for taking pictures or for cuddling like redwoods, desert, beach, woodland and wetlans. Wetlands offers some surrelaistic views, which I like in particular. I took a look at all of them.20161022-duet_035At one corner of the sim you’ll find a gallery with RL pictures taken by the co-owner of Duet Korgi Lerwick. They are for sale and some are really according to my taste. So I enjoyed just looking at them. Next to the gallery is a store where you can get lots of gear for taking pictures or for presenting them in y good way. Try also the copy machine, it’s fun!20161022-duet_036
Last but not least, I went to the pose area. Amazing! It is just perfect for taking pictures and just don’t need photshop or any other software to add other backgrounds. And there are so many different poses and backgrounds. I tried several of them and finally, when I took a bath tin champagne, I looked around and as nobody was around, I quickly stripped for just a picture (the sim is moderate, so you shouldn’t do that!).20161022-duet_037
I enjoyed the visit to Duet. Thank you Korgi Lerwick and Jules Phelan for providing it to us! I will come back more often.

Surrender Cove (2)

Wednesday, October 19th, we, Mistress Jenny, Argi, slave cecy and I, went to Surrender Cove again to have a look at the other quests. We had trouble to get into it as we could open the main gate but weren’t admitted inside. Mistress finally found a workaround and we entered. The quest is “Find the gold”. You need to have your relay on as you’re teleported automatically at some points of the quest. We had some fun just in the beginning as Argi was caught by a trap and seeing her tied up is such a rare treat.

October 19th at Surrender Cove: Diomita looking at trapped Argi and slave cecy

The main time of our visit we spend in a big room with covered furniture and many books and a Libririan, who spanked our slave cecy (no picture of that unfortunately). You might imagine that she was very excited about this spanking and left some juices on the floor of the room. Anyway, somehow we got out of the room and came back to the ground level where we assumed to be close to the gold. Kitty arrived that moment and I got trapped …..

.. and lag became quite heavy. Finally we finished our attempts to find the gold for this night. I just hope that it is really a different quest and that the mine quest, which we finished successfully the day before with finding gold, isn’t connected to this quest. Anyway, we might need a third visit to find out as our bratty Kitty didn’t tell us where she found (or found not) the gold.

Surrender Cove

Tuesday night, October 18th, we Mistress Jenny, vero, slave Flo and slave cecy went exploring Surrender Cove. Mistress got the Landmark from our exploring Kitty, who had some fun there. Surrender Cove is a sim with (many) RLV traps, quests a hangout for BDSM-centric people. The arrival at Surrender Cove is part of the fun. The landing point is in a warehouse. You have to proceed through it and see the customs agents behind the gates. And they get you ready for your visit as a dominant or as a submissive.
SC Passport Gal: “Welcome to Surrender Cove, Diomita Maurer.  Are you dominant, submissive, switch or none of them?”
Diomita Maurer: “A Dominant”
SC Passport Gal: “I am issuing you a passport for Surrender Cove. Please wear it while being here and enjoy your stay with us.”
For a submissive the procedure is different ….
SC Passport Gal: “Welcome to Surrender Cove, vero Hartmann. Are you dominant, submissive, switch or none of them?”
SC Passport Gal: “Florence Riddler, please wait there until i am done processing vero Hartmann. I will call you by name when it is your turn.”
(slave Flo was not Patient enough and stepped to close to the customs as it wasn’t her turn yet)
SC Passport Gal: “I will now check if you have an active RLV-relay…”
SC Passport Gal: “Good. My scanner detects RLV and a running relay. You will be classified as submissive.”
SC Passport Gal: “Do you have your passport?”
SC Passport Gal: “Please wear it now so I can stamp it.”

Ocotber 18th: A visit to Surrender Cove

Ocotber 18th: A visit to Surrender Cove

After this procedure you can go and explore. As mentioned before, there are many RLV traps. Most of them a funny and embedded in little stories, not just simple traps. For example we visited a shop for fruits and Mistress Jenny clicked on an apple …
Clerk shouts: “Thief! Stop Thief!!”
That person: “Look at that!! Another thief???”
vero: “poor Jenny”
Someone: “Wow… sexy shoplifter!!”
This Person: “Such a pitty… How hungry she was…”
Diomita Maurer: “that didn’t work as planned”
That man: “She must be sold as a slave soon.”
(Mistress Jenny was locked and chained in fron of the shop. I had to free her)
Diomita Maurer: “you were lucky that I was close, Mistress”
Diomita Maurer: “tze tze tze”

Our slave cecy was caught as she touched a goldfish….
Pretty Fishpond: “Oh…  look at that!  Goldfish !!  Little tiny ones..”
Pretty Fishpond: “Wait… GOLDfish?    GOLD???  You dont suppose……”
Pretty Fishpond: “It might be a trap….  OR it might be a clue to the gold…”
Pretty Fishpond: “Maybe click on the goldfish?   Or…  maybe ignore it….”
Suddenly a thick vine shoots out of the ground and wraps around cecysumi Resident’s midriff, causing them to struggle and squirm in the tight grip.
Maurer’s Aztec s.lave: mghhh
The vines start dragging the captive body into the center of the trap.
cecysumi’s body gets securely wrapped up in the vines, held captive in a spread-eagled position.
vero giggles
The vines slither all over cecysumi, cutting off circulation from the trapped body.
Another vine coils around cecysumi’s head, effectively gagging the poor prey.
Diomita Maurer sighs “these slaves”

Ocotber 18th: A visit to Surrender Cove - slave cecy caught

Ocotber 18th: A visit to Surrender Cove – slave cecy caught

slave Flo and vero had to leave as it was their bedtime and Mistress Jenny, slave cecy and made one of the quests, searching the gold in an old mine. We got caught several times and had fun but we solved the quest and even won a Little prize for it. Then we tried the quest for a collar, a quest just for two, a dominant and a submissive. I did it with slave cecy and Mistress Jenny watched. Again it was very funny how slave cecy was prepared for the quest. I won’t spoil the fun and add the texts, but it is hilarious. slave cecy was also washed and dried (those who know slave cecy might suspect that the drying failed).

Ocotber 18th: A visit to Surrender Cove - slave cecy washed and dried

Ocotber 18th: A visit to Surrender Cove – slave cecy washed and dried

The quest itself was quite serious. The sub and the dominant have to select likes and dislikes from a long list but they don’t see eachothers selection. Only if both selections fit, the quest goes on (with another list of likes and dislikes). So that can be really and seriously a helpful test before collaring a Sub.

We will go back to Surrender Cove for the other quests but our time was over for that night. If you like RLV traps, adventure and quests – visit Surrender Cove!

Haunted Halloween tour

Saturday, October 15th, I explored another place recommended in the SL Destination guide, the haunted Halloween tour. The description is promising: “Do you dare take a ride in the Haunted Halloween Tour? Strap in and prepare to experience haunts, ghouls, death, scares, and a descent into madness itself. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart!“. The landing brought me to another haunted house, just like the one I visited before at Templeton Cove.

October 15th: The haunted Halloween tour

The front door of the haunted house brings you to another sim and I did recognise it immediately. Wow, still there! This Halloween tour is just great, a ride in a coffin and really bloody and scary. I made it at least 3 times already, every year again. And I reblogged a post from Inara Pey about it last year: “The haunted Halloween tour“. I did the ride again – and it has not lost it’s attraction. It is simply great! And in the end truely full of Humor. So here are some impressions from it. Don’t miss this Halloween tour!20161015-haunted-halloween-tour_016 20161015-haunted-halloween-tour_017

Visiting The Fallen in Second Life

On Monday, October 17th, I visited The Fallen City as Inara Pey’s blog post inspired me. It is spooky, has great sound and some nice effects and is what you expect from a sim for Halloween. There’s not that much to add. The card playing Skeletons, the nun circling around a child Skeleton, spooky houses with dead bodies, ghosts, screaming voices of kids … pumpkins… and what I liked in particular the billard table in form of a coffin. For me a “must-see” during Halloween Season. I add some of my pictures for myself (this is a diary too) and for those who want to get an impression before visiting. Have Fun!

The Fallen CityThe Fallen – click any image for full size

Halloween is always a time when ghostly goings on and ghoulish gambits of games and explorations take over many parts of the grid. The Destination Guide can be awash with places to visit, so much so that those who love this time of years have both a cornucopia of places to visit, and a bit of a headache in choosing where to go and what to do.

The Fallen, open for the month of October, offers a destination which includes touches of Salem, Sleepy Hollow and Transylvania gathered around a small urban setting overlooked by castle and mansion. It’s a dark, mysterious place which extends over a rolling, misted landscape – and also under it at the couple of locations.

Halloween tour 2016 – Templeton Cove

It’s the Season for Halloween tours, for scary sims, for fun. Saturday, October 15th, I continued my simploring for the Halloween season – I visited Templeton Cove. Templeton Cove is described in the SL Destination guide: “Can you survive the ride to hell? Climb aboard the ferry, and make your way through the Land of Hades on this award-winning roller coaster brought to you by the Templeton family, WolfSong Creations, and Torgon’s Development Service. Explore Templeton Cove’s Haunted House and forest and enjoy shopping in the Halloween decorated outdoor mall. “

October 15th: Visiting Templeton Cove

October 15th: Visiting Templeton Cove

Upon landing there’s nothing scary at all. As opposed to Templeton Cove is a lovely sim decorated by the colours of autumn and with typical Halloween decorations, just lovely eye candy. I roamed a bit over the sim and through the shops that offer a lot of decorations. Then I went over to the haunted house.20161015-templeton-cove_020 20161015-templeton-cove_021The house doesn’t offer too scary things, but it is worth to peek in. In the ballroom in the first Floor there’s a skeleton couple dancing, really funny. If you walk upstairs, there are two rooms, one is empty, in the other you’ll find a girl in a bloodied dress sitting by the window and starring outside, poor girl! What else is there in the haunted house? You need to  touch a wall to get into a hidden room, which is really lovely. There’s not really that much inside but a table with a skull in the middle and you can lay Tarot Cards. But the atmosphere in this room is just impressive.

Just across the haunted house is the entrance to the “Ride to Hell Rollercoaster”. Of course I tried it. It is fun if you like riding rollercoasters. To stay honest, it is nothing I would repeat, it’s nice but not really scary.20161015-templeton-cove_022Landmark to Templeton Cove

Neverland – Calas Galadhon Halloween – Exploring on foot

October 11th: Exploring Neverland on foot

October 11th: Exploring Neverland on foot

Tuesday, October 11th, I continued exploring Neverland on foot trying to find the way to “The Portal”, which I saw already when I did the boat tour. This time it was more “Holloween-ish”. I had to pick up a flashlight and to enter mazes, where I came across large spiders, ghosts, strange creatures and stumbled over some skeletons. In addition the sound was scaring (as it should be!). Yet also when you explore on foot Neverland is very colourful, the colours are just overwhelming and in hard contrast to the dead bodies, skeletons and other scary elements around.

October 11th: Overwhelming views on colourful Neverland

October 11th: Overwhelming views on colourful Neverland

20161011-neverland_021I for sure missed out a lot of surprises as I found the way to “The Portal” and the pavilion quite quickly. But I got a good impression about about Neverland and might visit is again together with Jenny before October, 31st.20161011-neverland_022You enter the pavillion over a large sailing ship, again populated by skeletons. Then you walk over suspension bridges from one rock to the other to the pavilion, a large event and dancing area. Unfortunately we might not be able to attend any of the events as they all are at 7 PM PST, so we Europeans will be left out (at least this year). Nonetheless I add a picture of the event time table for those who can’t sleep or are in living in or close to PST timezone.

Neverland – Calas Galadhon Halloween

One of the highlights of a simploring year are Calas Galadhon’s seasonal sims. This years sim for Halloween is called Neverland and can be found in the SL destination guide where you find the following description of it: “With the beginning of its 7th year, Calas Galadhon creators Ty Tenk & Truck Meredith share their 2016 Halloween build Neverland. In the spirit of the season with the creator’s unique mix of beauty and terror, this enchanting build provides many opportunities for haunting exploration and fun for every Peter Pan & Wendy. The magical boat tour with its overview of the build is a must!
Well, exactly Neverland consists of two sims, one homestead and one full sim. You land at “The Pirates Cavern” where the road to neverland begins and the boat tour departs. As you land in the homestead part, the number of visitors is limited to 20 avatars. The goal is to find your way to “The Neverland Pavilion” were live music performances are held during October. I started with the boat tour, which was quite impressive and took about 40 minutes. You not only get an overview over Neverland doing the boat tour, you can already see from above what you shall explore later, like “The Portal”.

October 9th: Starting the Neverland boat tour

October 9th: Starting the Neverland boat tour

Neverland, at least what I saw during the boat tour, was not at all what I expected it to be. I saw lovely colourful flowers, lots of green, lets of water, rocks, lanterns and lights, a flying sailing ship, algae, water falls – just beautiful fantasy but not what you’d expect from an Halloween Installation, no graveyards, no ghosts, no fog ..(I admit I saw several skeletons and crocodiles)

As with other boat or sledge or carriage tours I made visiting Calas Galadhon sims, the boat tour is just at the beginning and in the end a real boat tour. Soon the gondola begins to fly and then you see Neverland from above. As you can see from the pictures above, Neverland is just a must see regarding it’s beauty and strong colours, simply wonderful! There’s also some wit scattered inbetween and I’m sure that I didn’t see all of it. I saw Pinocchio standing on a rock and I saw Mickey Mouse floating on the water, funny.

October 9th: Impressions of the Neverland boat tour (3) - floating Mickey Mouse

I also saw some beings that were a bit scary at least, not as a single being but in a crowd, for sure others know these beings, something between a rat, a mouse and a pig, there were hundreds of them gathering and I could see them from the boat. Are they dangerous?

At the end of the boat tour I got the following directions:
Neverland Tour: We hope your enjoyed the tour. Now it’s time to explore on foot. Sign posts and torches will light your way. Look for the Journey Cloths (Pirate Flag) which will take you to unique locations not accessed by walking. Find your way to THE PORTAL in the Ruins to take you to the Neverland Pavilion where this month’s live music performances will be held. Farewell. Be Safe!

So as soon as I find the time for it, I will return to Neverland and continue exploring, then on foot …. to be continued ….

A smile in autumn

Following Inara Pey’s blog I read her blog entry “Autumn walks all start with a smile in Second Life” and decided to visit “It all starts with a smile” myself. I was there already this summer during a Saturday simploring tour and my impressions from my last visit were confirmed. “It All Starts With A Smile (IASWAS) is a picturesque sim by Kaelyn Alecto … It is a group of tropical islands with many places to sit and cuddle, to have a drink, to relax and I could almost feel the sun. At least I had a feeling of vacation and laziness.”

October 8th: Visiting "It all starts with a smile" again

October 8th: Visiting “It all starts with a smile” again

What has changed is the vegetation. It is not a group of tropical islands anymore. It is a group of islands of the northern hemisphere in autumn now. Upon my landing I met Kaelyn McMahon (akelyn.alecto), who owns this sims, and her partner Gorba McMahon, who welcomed me and wished fun exploring. I walked around the main lake and visited some of the houses, barns and huts scattered around the lake. There is always something to discover like the small red hut which is used as an atelier.20161008-iaswas_014The outstanding feature of IASWAS are for sure the many places to sit, mediate and to cuddle. I enjoyed drinking a coffee at the campfire while smelling the autumn. My favourite spot is a raft just by the shore, maybe because of the saying written on the cushions “Life is like riding a bicycle: to keep your balance you must keep moving” and that is so true!

While I was sitting at my favourite spot, I had a chat with Vero (vero.hartmann) and I invited her over. We continued chatting and and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. IASWAS is worth a visit, in particular when you seek a nice place to wind down or to cuddle. Thank you Kaelyn for providing your place to the public.
