Diary 2023 (23) February 26th/27th Spring is getting close

I had a good time in SL on Sunday, February 26th. In the afternonn I visited “The Magical Forest“, an art installation, a illustrated tale in 11 scenes, written and narrated. My visit took one hour and was a nice variation (read here).
At night I played two rounds of skipee with Flo, then slave Holly joined us comparably early and we played another round with three.

I took Flo and slave Holly to club DeLust and chatted a lot with Holly about everyday life and recipes. Later I talked with Flo, who always surprises me with her dry wit. slave Alessi also joined us.
We also watched the silent crowd and had a relaxed time at the club. Flo stayed up longer than usual and by the time she left we all returned home and to bed.

February 26th: Diomita at club DeLust with Flo, slave Holly and slave Alessi

Monday, February 27th, was similiar. I played 3 rounds of skipee with Flo, one was a close game. The other 2 rounds were very one sided, each of us won one game way to easy. After the game I walked over our sim with Flo and changed the season from Winter to Spring for all plants as Spring is coming.
Then I took Flo to club DeLust. Soon after we had arrived slave Holly came inworld and I summoned her to us. We chatted amoung us for an hour. Flo tried hard to get some main chat running and at some point she was close, but in the end the crowd got silent again. Flo has fun trying to initiate a conversation.

Diary 2023 (22) February 24th/25th Marta released

When I had to fix a theme for our regular party on Friday, February 24th, it was sadly easy. One year ago, on February 24th, 2022, Russia invaded Ukrainia violating the law of nations. Since this day war is back in Europe. Honestly, not really a day to celebrate – but a day to remember and to express our solidarity with Ukraine.

It was another great start into the weekend. The party was well attended. When it is full, I often think of Jenny, who loved it when the parties were full. That night I said an extra “Cheers, my love” to her.

February 24th – Friday nigth party: Maurer’s dancing

Saturday night, February 25th, I was playing skipee with Flo when Angelique and soon later slave Holly came inworld and joined us by the table. We went to club DeLust where I spent almost the whole night chatting amoung us and with a few of the other guests. I returned home inbetween to take slave Holly to bed who was tired. Angelique also left by that time.
While I was taking home slave Holly, slave Marta (muzylla) came inworld and was at our homesim. I took her with me back to clubd DeLust. slave Marta was disppointed, obviously she had expected less strictness and more care or whatever. She had already expressed her discontentment to me the night before at the party. In my perception she was offending me. Consequently I released slave Marta while we were at club DeLust.
Finally, after Flo had left for bed, I spent some time with slave Alessi at Carnal Inentions. I had in mind to put her into the serious cage there, but it was occupied and not available.

In the “Backflash” series I select an old entry once a month and present it here. This way I force myself to browse in the archive and to fresh up a few of the many memories. For our readers the series shall provide an insight into my and our Second Life without reading back the many posts and it might also give reason to browse through the archives. It has been a while that I had the last “Backflash of the month” entry in this blog. With this post I intend to continue the series.
For February 2023 I selected a post from February 2013 – 10 (!) years ago. It is a diary post about Angelique, who celebrated her 1st collaring anniversary on February 21st, 2013. I appreciate a lot that Angelique is still close to me, still my niece and still such a special person in my life.
Enjoy the travel in time ….

Angelique, our sweet niece, is collared one year today!

When Angel first came to us she was a troubled young lady who used to embarrass herself quite often.  We took Angel under our wing and decided that Angel was in need of some further education in order for her to become a young lady who would be a real credit to our family.

However when we first tried to help Angel we found that it often became a struggle and that she would resist some of our help. Over time we discovered that what Angel really needed was two role models and not just a Mistress / Sub relationship. We decided it would be best if we adopted her into our family and we became her Aunties. After this Angel’s behaviour improved a great deal and we noticed that her embarrassing problem was now under control. A few people still tease her by calling her little miss pissy pants but those days are long gone.

We found a good finishing school for Angel to attend and she began her journey to becoming quite the young lady. Unfortunately as with a lot of things in SL, people come and go and so do the places. We have had to move Angel a number of times, but this has also helped her to develop many new skills. You are quite likely to find Angel at our home dusting and cleaning when she is not busy in class. One thing that we can both say about Angel is that she puts her heart into everything that she does and always gives 100%. She is bright, funny and has brought us many smiles since we met her. In fact Angel we both love you very much.

One final word of warning for you though Angel. Aunties have a habit of knowing all the dark secrets of their nieces. Just because we have not said anything does not mean that we are blind to it, just that we do not disapprove. (winks).

Art in Second Life (13) The Magical Forest by Jaz and Harry

Jaz (Jessamine2108) sent a message to me and invited me to see “The Magical Forest“, an istallation by Harry Cover (Impossibleisnotfrench) and Jaz herself.
Along with the landmark to “The Magical Forest”, I got a notecard that contained all relevant information including a few words about the artists who were involved in creating “The Magical Forest“. I will be lazy and use most of this notecard.

First of all there’re instructions for your viewer settings and you should follow them to get the full experience.

The exhibit is an immersive experience of Peter’s story, his journey to the magical forest, and his assimilation into it. It also touches upon human greed and the possible consequences. The story unfolds in 11 scenes – the road will take you through the scenes in sequence. You can either read about each scene, listen to the narration, and experience the special effects.
The immersive exhibit brings together the creativity in multiple areas like mesh, landscaping, storytelling, photography and particles. We hope you enjoy the magic and the story.

You walk along the scences, each scene has a text going along with it. You can grab the according notecard or listen to the narrator. Listening will take around 5 min for each scene so the whole story unfolds in about one hour. The story is a tale with many references to today’s world and to our dealings with nature and wildlife. It is fun with enough seriousness.
The 11 scences are arranged in boxes along the edges of a sky platform. In the center you find some of the participant characters, flowers and other elements.

Diary 2023 (21) February 22nd/23rd Finishing the February slave outfit

Wednesday, February 22nd, I started my night with a skipee with Flo, as I do almost every night. I chatted with Mistress Cherry while playing. She was again busy working on textures for her shop. slave Alessi joined Flo and me and we played another round with three. And slave Marta (muzylla)came online as well and I brought her to the skipee table.
After the game Flo left early than usual. I decided to get Alessi the last piece of the February slave outfit, which now will be the outfit for March as well, in particular as I will be offline almost two weeks in March. I summoned slave Alessi and slave Marta to DHB and got a straight jacket for slave Alessi. Coincidently slave Holly just came in-world and hence I also summoned her to me and she got the straight jacket as well. The slaves look great in these jackets! I went to Carnal Intentions with them and blindfolded them and forced them to look at me. I was satisfied with my work *winks*.

We moved on the club DeLust and I got some nice remarks about the slaves. slave Holly also made some nice pictures. Inbetween I took slave Marta home, who had to go to bed.
When slave Holly had to leave a bit early that night, I decided to go to bed myself as well and took the slaves home.

Thursday, February 23rd, I was running late due to RL. Nonetheless I played my regular skipee game with Flo and had slave Marta lasehed by the table. I took Flo and slave Marta to club DeLust afterwards, where Alessi joined us. While I was chatting I teased the slave. After Flo and slave marta had eft for bed, I stayed a bit at the club with slave Alessi and continued teasing her before I went off to bed early myself.

Diary 2023 (20) February 20th/21st Within the family

Monday, February 20th, I was inworld comparably early. slave Marta (muzylla) was present. I went to her cell to check if she had finished with exchanging her RR gag and blindfold. She had not and she was making excuses. I helped her a bit, then I left her leashed at the cell so that she would have enough time to finish.
Angelique came by and we caught up with our mutual news, then we went to club DeLust. We chatted and Angelique had fun teasing me. What a brat!
When slave Flo came inworld Angelique logged off and I went seeing Flo. We played a round of skipee until slave Holly joined is. I returned to club DeLust with Flo and slave Holly.
We stayed at the club until first Flo, then slave Holly had to go to bed. I took the opportunity to return home and to bed as well.

February 20th: Diomita at club DeLust with Angelique and slave Holly

Tuesday night was kind of a family get together. I was inworld early again and visited club DeLust alone. Mistress came inworld and we first chatted in IM. Mistress must have been at home as she notified me that slave Marta had come inworld. I had seen that, But knowing that Mistress was at home, I returned to our skybox to see and catch up with her there. Together we then went to slave Marta.
slave Marta had finally adjusted her new RR gag, but it upsat me that she was wearing her old gag in addition and that the keys of the new gag weren’t out for me to grab them. It will take some time to educate this new slave *winks*.
slave Alessi joined us by the cage and Flo was playing skipee alone (she must have wanted to win *grin). I took slave Marta and slave Alessi with me to the games, Mistress Cherry returned to her work for her store.
I leashed slave Marta next to me while Flo, slave Alessi and I played one round of skipee. Ebony came by while we were playing and she teased and distracted everyone, which was spicing up our game. And also slave Holly joined us. Almost a family get together, just Angelique and Kitty were missing.

After the game I took all with me to Psi’s realm for a family picture. Lately it has been often quiet at Psi’s realm and it was quiet again that night. Hence we moved on the club DeLust after Flo and Ebony had left for bed.

Friday, February 17th, I played skipee with Flo before we had our regular party. I had picked “red” as theme: “It’s Friday and we celebrate the start of the weekend. Last Tuesday was Valentine’s day – code red. Get something red out of your wardrobe and join us – or come as you are (even naked). DJ Virgo is spinning the tunes for us.”

We had quite many people from the beginning on and celebrated the start into our weekend with musich, catting and fun – as always.

February 17th – Friday night party: Mistress Cherry, Diomita, slave Holly, Flo, slave Alessi, slave Marta (muzylla), Ebony Massey, Sarah Fhang, Domina Ansar, sapphire (littleshy97), Baroness Capelo (upper row), Della Randt, Starbright Wingtips, Atheas Zenovka, Jayson Dakota, Moon Foxpaws, Mo Deezul, Claven Albatros, laura (laura00175), Jeanette Darkstone (arandomjeanette), Morgie Darkstone, Virgo Babii (lower row)

My Saturday night began with a skipee again. Flo and I played just one game. I had slave Marta (muzylla) at my leash while we played. Angelique came by and we decided to go clubbing together. We went to Carnal Intentions first, then to club DeLust. But DeLust was restarted soon later and thus we had to return to Carnal Intentions. That was the time when we noticed less and less people around us and avatars didn’t rezz properly anymore. SL had one of its hick-up nights.

I had in mind to replace slave Marta’s RR gag as the texture settings were messed up, but whereever we went, we didn’t rezz properly. Hence we called it an early night and went off to bed.

Sunday, February 19th, I picked up slave Marta from “her” cell and met with Flo and Angelique at the games table. What followed was a nice chat for almost an hour about Angeliques newest outfit, about SL, about the weather and other subjects. slave Alessi joined us and Angelique teased me that I hadn’t further developed the February outfit. She convinced me and I add ballet ankle boots as a next step.
After Angelique had left to bed I played a skipee with Flo and slave Alessi and afterwards I took them and Marta to Lochme for a bit. We went to Marine Kelley’s shop to get an replacement for slave Marta’s gag, but for some reason it didn’t work. SPoiling my time like this annoys me and I got a new RR gag for slave Marta. It was already late again and we returned home.

Tuesday, February 14th, I had a quiet night in Second Life. Mistress Cherry was absent due to her RL. Flo was present and we played 2 rounds of skipee (tied, we both won one). I took Flo with me to club DeLust, we chatted and watched people and time flew by quickly. To my surprise slave Holly didn’t show up neither did slave Alessi. After Flo had left for bed, I stayed a bit at club DeLust and continued observing people …. and that’s all about that day.

February 14th: Diomita a club DeLust with Flo

It seems that the last weeks have been busy in RL not only for me but also for Holly, Alessi and others for me. Right now I enjoy some time off at night in SL just playing skipee with Flo. Wednesday, February 15th, was alike. When I came inworld, Mistress Cherry visited me in our skybox to say hello and to catch up with mutual news – and to get her footkiss *winks*. I joined Flo at the skipee table afterwards. I played two weired rounds with her. I just watched her playing while I myself made no real progress. She was enjoying a series of lucky games. After she had defeated me twice, slave Holly came inworld and joined us. We played another round with three – same outcome, just that I was not defeated alone, slave Holly had as much cards left as I had.
Flo went to bed with a smile in her face and I took slave Holly and slave Alessi, who had come inworld as well, to club DeLust for a while. I really should work on the February slave outfit and add some more restraints and restrictions. Anyway, we chatted amoung us for about 45 minutes. At the same time I had a chat with a slave at the club – Marta (muzylla). She was seeking strict control.
At midnight I brought slave Holly and slave Alessi home and to bed. Then I summoned slave Marta to me and she entered the holding cage at the decking willingly. I took control. We will see what happens with her.

February 15th: Diomita at club DeLust with slave Holly and slave Alessi / at home with slave Marta

I was running late Thursday, February 16th. Flo was playing skipee. I had Mistress Cherry in IM and rene Rugani called me while I was on my way to see Flo. rene came by and said hello. Then I played 2 rounds with Flo. This time her luck wasn’t outstanding, instead I was the lucky one for one game, the second was a close game and when we had finished it it was flotime.
Marta (muzylla) was present as well and I talked a bit with her, in particular later after Flo had logged off. slave Marta is testing her limits, she tries to find out how strict I am … well, I have all the time in the world.
slave Holly joined me for a short time before midngiht and also rene came by again.

Diary 2023 (17) Feb 11th – 13th Flo’s 14th Rezzday

Saturday, February 11th, my rezzday …. I found no time for SL during the day. At night I had my usual games of skipee with Flo, slave Alessi joined us and we played a game with three, then slave Holly and so we played one round teams, slave Holly and slave Alessi against Flo and me. As we hadn’t played teams for a while, that was fun. slave Alessi and slave Holly won the game .. and as it was already flotime, Flo left after the game. I tool slave Holly and slave Alessi to Carnal Intentions for 15 min but then I had to retreat myself as I had an early start the next day.

February 11th: Diomita with Flo, slave Holly and slave Alessi at home and at Carnal Intentions

I had a busy weekend and was not inworld Sunday, February 12th, during the day. At night I played a round of skipee with Flo and talked with Mistress in IM. slave Holly and slave Alessi came inworld and watched Flo and me playing. I took Flo, slave Alessi and slave Holly to club DeLust after Flo and I had finished playing. We didn’t stay long, maybe half an hour. All – including myself – were tired. So we all went to bed at flotime. For me a nice and relaxing time in SL after a busy weekend.

February 12th: Diomita at club DeLust with Flo, slave Holly and slave Alessi

Monday, February 13th, I spoiled myself and visited Cica Ghost’s newest installation “Happy place” in the afternoon. That was a nice and enjoyable visit, that made me smile (read here).
At night I met with Mistress Cherry for a kiss and a hello. we quickly caught up with our mutal news, then I met with Flo, who celebrated her 14(!)th rezzday. Of course she was at the skipee table. We had two rezzday rounds, both were close games and fun. During the 2nd round slave Holly and slave Alessi came inworld. When we had finished playing, we spoiled Flo. She got her rezzday spanks, from me, from Holly and from Alessi. The rituals took time and were fun!

February 13th – Flo’s rezzday: Mistress Cherry and Diomita at home / Diomita, Alessi and Holly spanking Flo / Diomita and slave Holly at club DeLust

Flo and slave Alessi went of the bed after the rezzday spanking, I took slave Holly to club DeLust for 20 minutes, then we also went off to bed.

Art in Second Life 2023 (12) Happy place by Cica Ghost

When I got the invitation to “Happy place by Cica Ghost” I was prevented from going there right away. But I looked forward to visiting it. The name itself did catch my eye, in particular as I know Cica’s art. And I was not disappointed!

Before you enter you’re asked to “use shared environment” as the windlight settings belong to Cica Ghost’s art. You should also have advanced lighting turned on and switch shadows from sub/moon and projectors on.

“Happy place” by Cica Ghost is exactly what the name promises, a happy place. You see a lot of green, flowers and trees, steep hills with flat tops, green meadows and a dark sky with yellow to orange glowing clouds. The landing itself is on a flat top of a hill. Walking down you are welcomed by elephants, of course elephants with big cica eyes and the eyes seem to follow you, so as if the elphants wanted to see who is entering the happy place.
I saw a washing line between two trees with drying clothes and a happy little monster. Right at one tree holding the washing line I discovered a cat. Cica often places a cat into her installations. I imagine, she is doing that for me.

In the back part of “Happy place” are quite some of the steep hills with the flat top. There are houses – of course houses in “Cica-style” – on the flat tops, You can walk up the hills using ladders. You can sit in front of the houses, if there’s a bench and you can watch the scenery from up there. Perhaps you see a balloon cruising over the place. Hoovering over objects will tell you, where you can “sit”. The ballon is one of these opportunities. Once you’re in the gondola, you can dance while cruising over the place.

There are new and old companions at “Happy place” by Cica Ghost. The new ones are little harmless and happy monsters and you can buy them directly in the installation. FInd the cave with the vendor boards.
But there are not only new companions, you will find also old acquaintances, like the girl and the cow or the two birds .. or the sheep that build a circle on another flat top, where you could dance surrounded by them. Cica also placed some furniture in her installation, little islands of peace where you can sit down and enjoy as if your were in your living room!

I noticed that you can sit on the elephants and I had fun tickling their trunks. I’m sure there’s way more to discover!
It is just a happy place.

Cica also provided a quote again. You find it in the landmark description: “If there ever comes a day, when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.” It is not the first quote from Winnie the Pooh, that Cica used for her places. And again the quote is very fitting to her artwork.

To no surprise Cica succeeded once again making me smile and thus she allowed me to escape from everyday life for a bit. Thank you for another great (and happy!) installation, Cica!

Don’t wait too long with your visit to “Happy place“, you never know how long it may stay – it is a temporary world.
