Simploring 2018 (87) Pendle Hill

For my simploring tour on Saturday, October 6th, I picked Pendle Hill from scoop.it SL Destinations. Pendle Hill is owned and created by Lauren Bentham, who also owns Arranmore. I visited Arranmore in 2016 (read here). Pendle Hill reminded me a lot of Arranmore and you can easily recognize that both were created by the same person. The atmosphere is foggy and dark and fits into the current Halloween season, yet Pendle Hill is like Arranmore a permanent sim and open all year round, not just for Halloween.

Lauren Betham writes in the notecard that you get upon entering that “Pendle Hill is a fictional sim, but the name Pendle Hill is actually a real place east of Lancashire in the north of England, and is linked to the Pendle witch trials of 1612.“

To fully enjoy exploring Pendle Hill you have to enable advanced lighting, enable ambient occlusion and have to enable shadows created by sun/moon and projectors. With these settings and with adding the flashlight you also get upon entering the sim, you might see objects, people, ghosts or horrifying objects in the spotlight of the flashlight that you would miss otherwise. And turn your sound on!

Pendle Hill offers a lot of opportunities for taking pictures with a particular dark, foggy and scary atmosphere. Some details are obscured by the fog and the dark and only appear either in the spotlight of your flashlight or when a lightening illuminated the scenery. Many ghosts live at Pendle Hill, some of them only show their hands playing the piano or trying to grab you when you look into a mirror or walk up stairs.

Diary 2018 (181) October 6th – Sexy witches hunt

Saturday, October 6th, I met Angelique and slave Flo in the afternoon. I could catch up with both and we played a round of greedy. At night, I was alone most of the time. It’s rare that none of our closer family is present. I first went to Brii, where a hunt for Halloween witch outfits is currently offered. You have to search little witch dolls in the store and can grab one of the outfits from each witch doll you find for 6 L$ each. I found 9 of 10 and sorted them into my wardrobe for the Halloween season.

After my shopping I was still alone and went to several clubs, Babylon Berlin, Dungeon of FDS, Venustus. I stayed a bit longer dancing at Venustus, then I went to Psi’s realm where I had a nice chat with Daisy (Daisy Rimbaud), the owner of Evil Kitten. Our Kitty often spends time at Daisy’s playground. We became a bit nostalgic and talked about vanished old friends as well as about our first years in SL while we watched the crowd at Psi’s realm.

Then Mistress Jenny dropped inworld and I went home to see her and to catch up with her. Before we logged off, Mistress Jenny replaced my sub collar with the Ehesklavin collar thus starting another red light.

Diary 2018 (180) October 5th – Flying

My Friday afternoon, October 5th, presence inworld was short yet very enjoyable. I met slave kelly at HBC. She had enjoyed her time with less restrictions and talked with friends and roamed around and also got some others talking with her. I took her leash and talked with Meli (slutmeli lovenkraft).
I urged Meli to try out slave kelly’s pear plug in public making her aware of it again. I also tightened her restrictionss again step by step in public. This way slave kelly could far better embrace them again. When I was donw I took slave kelly back home and I took out a small head out cage and placed it close to the dance floor and fixed slave kelly in it. All ready for the Friday night party.

At night, we had our party again of course. Virgo selected a theme for which I struggled to find the right outfit: “Let’s fly high tonight, get out some wings, be a flying superhero or an elf.” The only wings I had were from an old primbody costume – but they worked fine. I first danced on the cage with slave kelly inside but as same mentioned their safety concerns I quickly built a semi transparent platform on the cage made from thick and safe glass, so dancing was safe.

Thursday, October 4th, I spent some time with slave kelly in the afternoon. I took her into our office and used her as my toy. I was generous and allowed her to wet my strapon thoroughly before I took her at the desk. Of course slave kelly begged to cum and I did allow it finally. As slave kelly did behave very well the last weeks I rewarded her and let her roam ungagged and even permitted that she could leave home. I saw slave Flo shortly before I had to tend to my RL again.

My night began with a short kinkploring tour, but the place I visited was not worth to write something about it. I missed slave Flo, who was inworld shortly. Later slave Shima came inworld – and my night was quite similiar to the afternoon, just another slave toy. For slave Shima it was her first time in the office.

When I was done with her, I gagged her a bit harder, added the joke and the spreader bar and chained her suspended from the ceiling in our living room. Then I cared for a nice butt colour.

Funny that my day had in Second Life had two similar halfs. But it was not yet over. Mistress Jenny came inworld, just when I began to write the diary. We could catch up and I’m sure I conjured a smile on her face because I was wearing the same latex vest as she and our outfits were quite similiar.

Simploring 2018 (86) The Labyrinth Experience

For my simploring tour on October 3rd I selected “The Labyrinth Experience“, an installation of Subversive Vavoom and Rhodan Kuhn at LEA 25.

The Labyrinth Experience requires a Second Life Experience to animate you, teleport you, and attach items of use to your avatar temporarily while on this sim. It is an adventure and you have search and find clues in order to get out of the Labyrinth. But it is not just the inital labyrinth where you have to find your way out. During your stay, you have to find objects that interact via left-clicking, and some that are required to find to advance to the next location/level! To start your adventure you need to click “Enter The Labyrinth” at the provided landmark to The Labyrinth Experience.

The Labyrinth Experience is based on the movie Labyrinth from 1986, with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly, directed by Jim Henson. You can see a trailer of this movie here.

I myself was not familiar with the movie and I watched the trailer and got some background information on wikipedia: “Labyrinth is a 1986 musical fantasy film directed by Jim Henson, executive-produced by George Lucas. The film revolves around 15-year-old Sarah’s (Jennifer Connelly) quest to reach the center of an enormous otherworldly maze to rescue her infant brother Toby, whom Sarah wished away to Jareth, the Goblin King (David Bowie).

The New York Times reported that Labyrinth had a budget of $25 million. The film was a box office disappointment, grossing $12.9 million during its U.S. theatrical run. I entered The Labyrinth Experience and began my adventure in the inital labyrinth, which is quite colourful decorated with glowing plants and thus offers really nice views. Once I found the exit I had to talk with two guards at the exit door and select one of two doors. I don’t know if I took the right door. It took me to another maze and from there I came to a platform that looked like one of the early video games, for sure this platform is a reference to them.

This platform wasn’t easy to leave, but somehow I made my way out ….. an fall into a tube filled with green slime and was transfered to the next level, a strange world, obviously contaminated. There were bald trees, green toxic fog, an old plant in the background, not a world you’d like to stay in for long. From there I came to a lovely ballroom, that I enjoyed exploring. First I was a bit unsure whether that’s the end of the adventure as I couldn’t find any way out, found no hint but also no sign “End”.

I found my way out and landed in another environment that looked a bit like after a war. But there were toys that I collected by colliding and in the middle was a container with a fully equipped children´s room. Some of the toys there work when you click them. There’s also a shelf with cuddly toys and you can bring the toys you collected by colliding to the shelf and get the toy for your inventory.

The next level brought me to a futuristic underground station and from there to a scifi city. I had to be brave not to run away from the robot guards in this town. I found Goblin Inc. and entered their offices…. and found my way to the last level which I had to explore in mouselook and which led to the exit door.

The exit brought me to an exhibition with some really nice pieces of art, mostly animated. This exhibtion itself was worth the effort of the the adventure before.

All levels of The Labyrinth Experience are artful and offer outstanding views and most probably a lot of details for those familiar with the film Labyrinth. I did not reveal how to get from one level to the other. You have to find out yourself. I had really fun with solving the riddles, with interacting and I enjoyed the views and took many pictures. Be sure not to miss The Labyrinth Experience.

Diary 2018 (178) October 3rd – Confidence

Wednesday, October 3rd, Mistress Jenny took me to Trouble Tavern in the afternoon. We caught up there about our mutual news and I enjoyed being close to Mistress. When slave kelly came inworld we took her to Mesmerize Dungeon to decorate us. Mistress will be off the next days and hence we retreated early to say good bye properly.

At night I met Angelique shortly. I didn’t see her for a while due to her RL and it was great to talk to her for a bit. Then I went on another simploring tour. When I returned home, slave kelly came back inworld. I wanted to shop a bit and took her to NGW, where I saw a really nice suspension pose for two subs in a room adjacent to the store. There seemed to be a party or gathering. I had a longer chat with the creator of that pose, who was present. Unfortunately it isn’t sold as of now.

I bought a new corset at NGW, called “confidence” and I spent about an hour at NGW with slave kelly to create a nice mix and match around the corset. I added the transparent latex vest, that Mistress Jenny was wearing the last days and selected fitting nylons and underwear. Finally I sorted my inventory and added all to my closet. The new corset inspired me for the title of today’s diary entry.

October 3rd: Diomita in her new “confidence” outfit / two nicely suspended subs near the NGW store / Diomita with slave kelly and slave Shima at home and at Mesmerize Dungeon

When I was satisfied with the new outfit, slave Shima had come inworld and I took her and slave kelly to Mesmerize Dungeon. I rewarded slave kelly and removed her gag and allowed IM. She met someone from her days at Albatraz at Mesmerize Dungeon and had some chatting in public. And that’s it for this diary entry.

Simploring 2018 (85) The Pines at Jacobs Pond

Inspired by a picture I saw on scoop.it SL Destinations  I visited “The pines at Jacobs Pond”. What caught my eye was that this sim was just set into Autumn mode showing the foliage, a season that I really like. There’re a lot of blog posts about “The pines at Jacobs Pond”, I’m by far not the first one who visited it and wrote about it. But for me it was new.

Impressions of “The Pines at Jacobs Pond” (1)

“The pines at Jacobs Pond” is a family sim, a moderate homestead, owned by a group named “End of Time”, founded by Liu (liu kaos). There’s not that much to see nor to explore. “The pines at Jacobs Pond” is an American village, a village that could be anywhere in the Northeast of the US. Some stores are along the main street, a gas station, a grocery store, a laundry. Besides the stores there are many residential homes along the main street as well as parallel to it. A little food market offers regional good and, according to the seasom pumpkins. All is quite neat.
The colours of Autumn, the falling leaves are just beautiful and add to the feeling of being somewhere in the Northeast.

Impressions of “The Pines at Jacobs Pond” (2)

What else would you expect? Yes, a little stadium. In this case it is a baseball stadium and the local club plays in the Second Life Little League. On one side of the island is a fishing pond, a stable for horses, a hunting hut and you can also see some deers. That’s it. At least that’s what I saw. Nonetheless it is a small piece of paradise, normal life, a sleepy village, a place to retreat into family life, be it at night or on the weekend – and I liked it.

Did I miss anything? Yes, a church, a New England Baptist Church is missing at least for me to make “The Pines at Jacobs Pond” perfect.
Of course I took not just one picture. The foliage offers a particular atmosphere in Second Life as well as in Real Life. Thank you Liu (liu kaos) for sharing the sim with the public. It felt like a short visit to the Northeast.

Simploring 2018 (84) A new joined exhibition at La Maison d’Aneli

At La Maison d’Aneli a new joined exhibition of 5 artists has been opened on Wednesday, September 26th. It features the art of: ChrisTower Dae, Solkide Auer & Magda Schmidtzau, Kirle Adamski and Dantelicia Ethaniel. All artists have a different focus which makes the exhibition varied and enjoyable. When you enter La Maison d’Aneli you get a folder offered which contains some information about the artists. I used some of this information in my following text.

Kirle Adamski, is a selftaught artist from Denmark who started painting in 1997 and had her first exhibition in Denmark in 2000. Kirlie expresses herself in strong colours. She says that she never decides a motive before painting, there’s no plan, in the end the painting expresses herself at the time it was made. Kirlie’s paintings are in watercolour and copied from RL paintings. She had several exhibitions in RL as well as in SL.

Dantelicia Ethaniel is a French plastic artist and fashion designer in first life, Dantelicia has embraced the virtuality of Second Life almost 10 years ago. She got passionate about SL photography early on and uses it to create a bridge with traditional painting effects such as water colors or acrylic she practiced in her everyday life.

Solkide Auer tries to express his ideas through different sculptures. He started creating geometrical shapes then used more difficult techniques such as “the shade”, which gives the possibility to manipulate a unique prim in a very complex way. As a result he obtained unexpected and different shapes quite unlike the ones anyone can find around. Solkide Auer’s art has been exhibited at several galleries and museums within SL but he has also transfered his art into RL exhibitions be it printed or be it shown as 3D on monitors.

At La Maison d’Aneli Solkide’s art work is part of an exhibition named “Might of Soul” that features pictures of Maddy (Magda Schmidtzau) who is a passionate phortographer in RL. In Second Life she plays with the possibilites of this virtual world and tries to convey the magic that she sees. Maddy had already quite a lot exhibitions within SL. Maddy’s pictures exhibitied at La Maison d’Aneli are both, RL pictures and artificially processed pictures taken in Second Life. The combination of Solkide’s geometrical shapes and shades with the pictures of Maddy makes this exhibtion unique.

ChrisTower Dae is an Italian photographer. Chris shows at La Maison D’Aneli portrait pictures taken in Second Life, mainly female. The pictures impress by their perfection as well as by the facial expression. The avatars have a unique soul and the viewer can sense the emotions transfered with the portraits. Chris places the face mostly at a side of his pictures, not showing the whole head which might contribute to the facination of the portraits.

La Maison d’Aneli is owned by Aneli Abeyante. Through her gallery she brings together all forms of creativity in RL and SL and the featured artists come from around the globe. Aneli’s intention is to “put her gallery in the service of artists, so that the world can be better, exchanges and meetings probably contribute even though it seems to be particles.”
Thank you for this great joined exhibtion, Aneli. I enjoyed my visit a lot.

Diary 2018 (177) October 2nd – Chains

Tuesday, October 2nd, we had a guest at home, sissy ally (ally 259). She wanted to show Mistress Jenny and me her new outfit. ally was wearing the chain set from DHB along with cuffs and gag from Mo, quite a strict combination. slave Flo joined us. Mistress and I hadn’t played with the chain set so far and I tried some poses before I locked her up and set (hidden) timers. Then we took slave Flo and ally to Mesmerize Dungeon exposing both.

Remember Gwen? We had two slaves named Gwen recently – gwenney and delta29 Dewoitine. gwenney hasn’t been inworld since mid of August and we don’t know what happened with her.
I met the other slave Gwen (delta29 Dewotine) two weeks ago at Psi’s realm. She was eager to be tied up, to join us and to be collared. Mistress Jenny and I took control of her, we put her into the slave outfit for September (the black *KaS* hobble dress and a black hood) and for one week slave Gwen was present and close to us. We treated her like any other slave of ours so that she and we could try out whether we fit together.

After being offline for one week, slave Gwen came inworld again while Mistress Jenny, slave Flo, ally and I were at Mesmerize Dungeon. She didn’t accept my teleport offer nor answer me in IM. Instead I got messages that she wasn’t in RLV and I could follow how she cheated out of her restraints. Finally when she had cheated out, I got an answer in IM: “sorry”.

We don’t collar slaves and subs quickly and there’s a good reason for it. We need to find out if they fit to us and they need to find out for themselves likewise. We fully understand that things do not always work out when you meet somebody new. slave Gwen could have asked us to be released as some others have before. Why cheating out? Why destroying the effect of RLV without a real need? A few words mean that you can hold your head up when your paths cross again in the future. Enough ranted, but I had to write this off my chest.

However we still enjoy meeting new people, helping those who are new to SL and RLV. SL is intended to be a social place and we will continue to have as much fun as we can. We enjoy the bondage games and power exchange so take care of those keys.

Diary 2018 (176) October 1st – a fun night at Domme a Domme

I met with Mistress Jenny Monday afternoon, October 1st, and we had a very nice and relaxed visit to Mesmerize Dungeon and later to club DeLust. We talked about outfits we saw, about potential slaves or subs and just enjoyed being together. We were about to leave for RL when slave kelly came inworld and we did see her shortly before we left.

Our Monday night was surprisingly great fun. Mistress and I went to club Domme a Domme, where it was unusally crowded. While watching what was going on with one eye, we looked at Angelique’s wardrobe. Angelique had added 28 (!) pieces of clothes and full outfits, that she tried on and had shown to us. But Mistress and I hadn’t yet decided if she may get them or not. Mistress and I agreed on 8 out of the 28, which we will allow Angelique to get. When we had finished slave kelly came inworld and I went picking her up at home. And just when I arrived with her at the club slave Flo came inworld and Mistress Jenny summoned her to us too.

There was a sissy named Cherry (sweetsissyboy4u) standing close to us. We first made some comments and remarks about her in main chat and then ordered her to us. We inspected her tiny little bulge, talked about her features, discussed if Angelique might like having a sissy doll to dress up and collected information about her as if it was a job interview. We certainly entertained the other guests at Domme a Domme – but we really had fun.
Shima joined us and I locked her chastity belt. slave kelly found an admirer and Mistress asked me to allow IM for her for a bit (of course I did that). We had some really nice banter and in addition some private chats amoung us and with other guests.

A real fun night and teasing the sissy and our slaves was good entertainment, as it should be.
