Simploring 2020 (72) Slovakia, Slovensko

For my simploring tour on Tuesday, September 22nd, I picked “Slovakia, Slovensko” from scoop.it SL Destinations, mainly because there’s no blog post about this place yet.

I will furtheron just use “Slovakia” instead of the full name which should be “Slovakia, Slovensko – Slovak, Czech “. Slovakia is built on a plot in an adult region and owned by a group named “Great Czechoslovakia”. The group was founded by Gerard Brianna, who is also the main owner of Slovakia. Lena Atheris and Jucciano Carpaccio have contributed to the sim and own buildings and objects of Slovakia.

The name of the group – Great Czechoslovakia – points to the intention of the owners. They built a place that should repesent Czechoslovakia in the 1980ies, when the two states Slovakia and Czech Republic of today were one socialist state.

Orienation map and first impressions of Slovakia

Slowakia is quite simple structured. It could be part of a little town. There’s one road forming a circle. In the center are all community buildings and activities like a church, a bar, a park, a gazebo to meet, a stage for events, the carousel of a fair and a little pond. Outside of the circle are residential homes, a police station, a big club in an old food store, a small playground, a donut restaurant, a strange meeting point building named Bye Way, a motel, a basketbal court, and a trailer park. Almost everything a little town has to have.

Impressions of Slovakia (1) – Stop N Go club inside (upper left) / Bye Way and Donut restaurant (upper right), church inside (lower left) / Donation tip jar and rental map (lower right)

The plot is seperated to the other plost of the region by large rocks and by big housing blocks. These blocks, the omnipresent dirt, the shabbiness of the buildings and the cars in the street, the garbage, the missing colours shall provide the feeling on a typical socialist urban environment. Fitting to that is the big and fully functional police station. But also fitting are the little idyllic scenes at the trailer park, where people arranged with what they had.

Impressions of Slovakia (2) – motel and trailer park

Slovakia is a sim that shall enable building a community for people in Second Life who are from these 2 countries but it is not limited to those of course. Most of the residential homes are available for rent at the moment. A map with the free houses can be found in the church. In the church is also the only donation tip jar that I saw in Slowakia (how fitting, it is on the altar *winks*).

Impressions of Slovakia (3) – rental houses (upper left and right) / the carousel (lower left) / little cafe and rental mobil home (lower right)

It is not easy to build something like Slovakia, to produce a miserable environment with a socialistic flair as the objects are not available on the marketplace. Therefore you see also shabby American cars, the signs for the trailer park and the motel are in English as well as the Roady bar. But nonetheless, I could sense the intention of Slovakia right upon when I landed there. At the time of my visit the streets were used as a skating course. I don’t know if that is a permanent installation.

Impressions of Slovakia (4) – Police station (upper left) / Stage (upper right) / Roady’s bar (lower left) / Gazebo in the park (lower right)

One word to the windlight. For what reason ever I had a quite sunny and inexpressive windlight when I visited. I decided to select the Anan Adored Realistic windlight for most of my pictures. Choosing a foggy, hazy, grey and drab windlight would fit better to Slovakia but is not suitable for blog pictures that shall provide an impression.

Slovakia was established in May 2020. It is at least something different from what you can experience in Second Life elsewhere. Thank you Gerard Brianna and Lena Atheria. I enjoyed my visit and my short conversation with Lena.

Art in Second Life 2020 (67) La Maison d’Aneli Oct/Nov

On Wednesday, October 21st, a new exhibtion was opened at La Maison d’Aneli. It features the art of Hermes Kondor, chapichapo Delvalle, Gabriel Redrose, Renoir Adder, Moya Patrick, Carelyna, Magda Schmidtzau and Jipe Loon.

As usual I didn’t wait until the opening and I couldn’t attend the opening event due to my other obligations in RL and SL. Hence I peeked in again early.

I started my visit with the skybox of Magda Schmidtzau. Due to the concept with the skyboxes, the artists can choose how to present their art and they do it quite differently. Magda Schmidtzau, or Maddy, choosed a gallery space in dark tomes with some red light and spotlights on her pictures. The gallery has several rooms and levels. Maddy’s pictures are quite erotic and deal with the female body in different poses and with different background.

Magda is in Second Life since 2009 and is passioante about photography. She tries out different ways of processing her pictures and “tries to convey the magic that she sees”. I did see already some of her exhibtions in Second Life and her work is always intriguing.

Chapichapo Delvalle is a French artist, connected to Patrick Moya (moya janus), in Second Life since 11 years and has done a lot of different things in SL, learned to build and learned a bit about scripting and supports people in sandboxes. Currently Chapichapo is supporting Partrick Moya (moya janus) as director of the Moyaland tourist office.

A La Maison d’Aneli Chapichapo’s skybox is made of several rooms and levels that are connected by tubes and stairs. All walls, floors, and ceilings are covered with fractals, you kind of see a gallery within a Kaleidoscope. The first pictures you see are party RL pictures and party abstract pictures in front of a wall texture covered with Eiffel towers. In the main room with the fractal textures covering the walls you see ever changing moving colourful spirals and kaleidoscopes as eye catchers within the walls. Chapichapo also added some 3D objects, that are also animated. Overall, a very particular and outstanding exhibtion room.
You can see more of chapichapo Delvalle’s work on flickr here.

I saw already some of Patrick Moya (moja janus)’s art. I came across him in 2017 when I visited his Moya Land  (read Simploring 2017 (56) Moya). At La Maison d’Aneli his room is kind of a big library. The walls are completely used a storage for Partick’s art. Some of these are only textures, in some others there’re objects stored – and all are in Patrick’s unique style. The feeling of being in a library room is enhanced by some 3D shelfs and objects like the ladder or the desk in the center of the room.
Of course there’s a lot to discover at the walls. I think you could easily spend hours in here!

Patrick Moya (born 1955 in Troyes, France), is a French artist. He is a part of the artistic movement “Ecole de Nice”. Moya has been at the forefront since the 1970s of straddling the latest forms of media and technology to benefit art rather than rendering it extinct.
(excerpt from wikipedia).
He is an early pioneer of video art and is active with his art in Second Life since 2007 in addition to his work in the physical world. The barriers between the two worlds do blur in his artistic work. Moya Patrick (moya janus) has also a website http://moyapatrick.com/ with tons of information about his work and about Moya in Second Life. Unfortunately it is in French only.

Renoir Adder’s gallery room at La Maison d’Aneli is a square room held in black and blue with the pictures at the four walls. He makes classic paintings that are uploaded into Second Life. Some of his paintings remind of van Gogh others of monet and again others don’t fit into any scheme.

Renoir is Italien, he’s an experienced musician and played the rhythm guitar. He worked in Luxemburg, Belgium, Holland and France, where he attended a course at the ecole d’art, before he return to Italy. He began painting without ever stopping … and we can see some of his paintings now here.

Jipe Loon lives in France, was a student in art school, then found his passion for stone sculptures. Jipe is in Second Life for more than 13 years and now sculpts irtually using tool like ZBrush, Cinema4D, DAZ 3D, Blender, or SubstancePainter. Jipe sells his creations on the marketplace. I came across some of his figures already before in the frame of my simploring tours. I also saw some more when I visited the Extempore Gallery and Lounge (read here).

In the center of Jipe’s skybox at La Maison d’Aneli is a museum in the shape of a pyramid. You should switch advanced lighting on and activate shadows from sun/moon and projectors. The pyramide museum is guarded by an egypt, a really tall statue. You can sit on the palm of the guardian and will dance on it. The museum is great. There are several sculpture inside, presentated like they would be in a real museum. In the center is a group of 3 females playing with a chain. What is special is the effect of the light coming down from the top of the pyramid and highlighting the different sculptures. Very well done!
What is funny is the advice at the entry about wearing a mask in these times (in Second Life?). The revenue from the maskswill support the arts. In the museum you also see a model of the virus.

Hermes Kondor is from Portugal. He’s a photographer and photojournalist. Hermes has 40 years of professional photography experience. He dealt with the hard reality of real life photography working for a daily newspapers, and as a photographer and photo-edtior in several magazines. He also worked as a teacher of photography and photojournalism.

Hermes is in second Life for almost 13 years. His pictures can also been seen at his own gallery, the Kondor Photo Gallery, and at his flickr account.
What Hermes really likes most is street photography and the exhibtion at La Maison d’Aneli is all about it. It is also about Hermes’ passion for dogs. The work was also exhibited in the Colorfoto Photo Gallery, in Lisbon, in April 2018, and a book was published about it. A special edition of the book, created for Second Life, will is available during the exhibition, as a gift to all visitors.

Carelyna is in Second Life for almost 8 years. SL gave her the opportunity to reach two dreams of her childhood. She grew up on a boat, and she took art classes and learned to paint on an easel with oil paints. This is the reason why she tries to make her photos look like paintings. She replaced the traditional tools with the computer. Carelyna has also a flickr page.

Her square gallery room is filled with pictures, mainly held in yellow and orange tones. That these pictures were taken in Second Life can’t be seen on a first glance if at all. They are artful and impressive.

Gabrienna Scott Redrose (Gabriel Redrose) is in Second Life for over 10 years. She models and you can see a lot of her at her flickr page here. In the accompanying notecard of the exhibtion she writes about herself “Hi I’m Gabs, the Artist and Owner of Redrose Art. I’m an aspiring Model and Artist on Second Life.. I live in SL as a Bat-Girl avi, It ‘s been pretty fantastic i must say. I meet awesome people everyday and have made several close friends over the years.
It is the first time that I see anything of her in Second Life.

At La Maison d’Aneli her skybox is filled with pcitures and 3D objects. One wall is used to promote her own brand “Redrose Art”. The 3D objects don’t have a common style, hence they are hard to desrcibe. I personally liked the matchstick figures below of the Redrose Art sign. 3 walls are used to present Gabrienna’s pictures, which are colourful and abstract. Overall an intriguing exhibition with a lot to see.

The current exhibition stays opened at least until November 10th.
La Maison d’Aneli is owned by Aneli Abeyante. Through her gallery she brings together all forms of creativity in RL and SL and the featured artists come from around the globe. Aneli’s intention is to “put her gallery in the service of artists, so that the world can be better, exchanges and meetings probably contribute even though it seems to be particles.
Thank you for another great joined exhibtion, Aneli. As always I enjoyed my visit and writing about it. It always inspires me.

Diary 2020 (141) October 6th/7th Relaxed days

Mistress was prevented from coming inworld in the afternoon on Tuesday, October 6th. I went on another simploring tour in the afternoon.
We spent most of our night slave Flo again. slave Gwendi is still missing and slave Melissa seems to be busy in her RL .. and Angelique seems to have odd working hours again. Anyway, we first had two rounds of greedy with slave Flo, then we went clubbing again. We were at Mesmerize Dungeon and at Puerto Esclava with her.

October 6th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Mesmerize Dungeon and Puerto Esclava with slave Flo

While we were at Puerto Esclava, Argi showed up and joined us. It is always a pleasure to meet her and time flew by quickly and suddently – at least for me – it was flotime again. We brought slave Flo home and went to Miss P’s Paradise. I had told Mistress Jenny that I met BC’s twin Sara (Sare Piers) at Psi’s realm earlier that night. BC and Sara being twin’s is just our tease for the two. Sara was at Psi’s with her sub wife. That brought me to look at Sara’s profile and I came across Paulette Taffeta, who is Sara’s Mistress.
Paulette is an acquaintance of ours from our earlier years in Second Life, in particular when she was together with Claven and BC. Anyway, nowadys she has her own quite popular place – the above mentioned Miss P’s Paradise. As Paulette was online, Mistress Jenny and I went for a visit shortly.

October 6th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Miss P’s Paradise meeting Paulette

Paulette was not alone, she had some of her playthings around .. and also other guests, I assume. We had a nice chat with her before we had to go home and went off to bed.

Wednesday, October 7th, I met Mistress in the afternoon and we went to club Domme a Domme where we caught up wuth our mutual news while I knelt at Mistress feet. We move on the Heavy Bondage Club, continued chatting and read profiles and enjoyed togetherness. Finally we went to our loft skybox and I was allowed to lick Mistress Jenny and to get my fix. Thank you, Mistress Jenny.

October 7th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme, at Heavy Bondage Club and at home

At night Mistress was prevented from coming inworld. But slave Flo was present again. I first made her clean the house. There was not too mucht to do as Ebony had cleaned it in the afternoon. Nonetheless, it was perfectly cleand afterwards. I had three rounds of greedy with Flo. We were just done when Angelique showed up. She had attended her new institution and was still in her student outfit. I wanted to go clubbing a bit and Angelique changed into something suitable – wow! Again Angelique had created a great mix and match outfit.
While we stood and modeled at Mesmerize Dungeon, Angelique gave me the details of her outfit. And as there wasn’t much going on at Mesmerize Dungeon we went shopping with slave Flo at my leash. I got the parts of Angelique’s outfit, then we went on to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club, which was quite full again.

October 7th: Diomita and Angelique with slave Flo at Mesmerize Dungeon and at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club

I began to change into the new outfit and modded it accordingly, swapped into my Angelique outfit – et voila, something to surprise Mistress with *winks*. And time had run by quickly once again. At flotime we went home and all off to bed.

Simploring 2020 (71) Bates Motel

For my simploring tour on Saturday, September 19th, I picked Bates Motel from scoop.it SL Destinations. Bates Motel is a plot, rated moderate, owned by Kaiden Tray (kaidentray). What tempted me to visit was the picture on scoop.it SL Destinations that immediately reminded me of Psycho, the famous film directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

Bates Motel – overview and orientation map

The landing is in front of the office of Bates Motel. The Motel has 4 rooms, all are furnished quite basic. An old VW Beetle is parked in front of one room and a man sits outside next to his luggage…. and in the background you see the manor, the Psycho-house, where Norman Bates’ mum’s dead body “lives”. You can easily immerse into the story.

Impressions of Bates Motel (1) – the motel itself

I explored every room … then right next to the office I found what I was looking for: the shower scene!

Impressions of Bates Motel (2) – the shower scene

I took some very nice pictures, some of them look as if I made a screenshot from the film. Of course I visited the Psycho-house, which is fully furnished. I looked into every room. I found an atelier, but I didn’t see Norman’s mum nor her ghost – and there is no cellar, really.. well at least when I was there. The motel and the Psycho-House are a great background for pictures or might be a perfect place for a roleplay.

But Bates Motel has more to offer that just the motel and the famous house. If you walk along the trail you come to a café and bar with an event area. The bar is also furnished and is nicely decorated in- and outside.

Impressions of Bates Motel (3) – the Psycho-house and the café and bar

On my way back from the café to the motel I found a nice place to sit and enjoy or to fish by the river. I saw a funny sign post. And walking further leaving the motel on my right I came to a shack and another nice place to sit. At the shore you also find a camping site. Just be a bit careful when you walk into the forest behind the Psycho-house. When I was there a bear with it’s bear cub lived there. Bates Motel offers a lot of outdoor activies, the right place for a vacation …. and you can book a room at Bates Motel *winks*.

Impressions of Bates Motel (4) – exploring the plot

I returned to the motel and walked along the shore. At the corner of the plot is a boat rental. You can rezz boats there for a tour. A bit above of the boat rental is a small graveyard and a workshop. Prepare yourself, Halloween is coming soon! Inside of the workshop you find two zombies at work, really scary.

Impressions of Bates Motel (5) – boat rental, graveyard and Zombies

I enjoyed my simploring tour to Bates Motel, a great place to hang out and a great place for outstanding pictures, in particular if you play a bit with the windlight settings.

Bates Motel

Kaiden Tray (kaidentray), the owner of Bates Motel, also owns the GLITCH storee for poses and props, for every day needs. You can find it on the marketplace here. Kaiden also offers landscape services.
Many thanks for Bates Motel, Kaiden. I had a great time exploring.

Diary 2020 (140) October 4th/5th A short green light ended

On Sunday, October 4th, I met my property Mistress Jenny in the afternoon. I was very tired as I had not enough sleep the night before due to my RL. Therefore, although being in control, I decided to start the afternoon a bit more quiet and relaxed. I gagged and restricted Mistress and took her to Puerto Esclave, to Psi’s realm and to Heavy Bondage Club. We talked quite a lot, we looked at profiles and outfits and I could relax for about an hour.

October 4th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at home, at Puerto Esclava and at Psi’s realm

Of course I couldn’t spoil the opportunity of being in control. When we returned home I sat down in the new chair and Mistress served me very well. Actually I had two orgasms. Thank you, Mistress Jenny, good girl. Then it was already time to finish my green light again. Mistress had granted just the weekend. We won’t be alone at night and considering that Mistress had to get up early the next day and that I was knackered from getting not enough sleep, it made no sense to extend the green light until the last second. Nonetheless, thank you for my green light, Mistress Jenny

October 4th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at home

Our night was just what I needed – relaxed. We had a game of greedy with slave Flo and went to Mesmerize Dungeon for a bit and we spent more than an hour at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club later. We had a lot of eye candy there, we chatted, read profiles, teased slave Flo, it was just relaxed. At flotime we returned home and all went off to bed.

October 4th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Flo at Mesmerize Dungeon at and at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club

On Monday, October 5th, Mistress was not able to get online due to her RL. And I had a busy day as well. I went on a simploring tour in the late afternoon and early at night.
Later I met with Mistress Jenny and slave Flo, who was playing skipee against herself. We decided to have a game with her. That took a while but left enought time to visit a club afterwards. We went to BDSK Lifestyle Swingers Club again, where we got a lot of latex eye candy and stayed there until flotime.

October 5th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Flo at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club and at Psi’s realm

After slave Flo had logged off, Mistress Jenny and I visited Psi’s realm for another 15 minutes, then it was time to leave for us as well.

Simploring 2020 (70) Route 21 – Rural/Small Town Hangout

For my simploring tour on Saturday, September 26th, I picked “Route 21 – Rural/Small Town Hangout” from soop.it SL Destinations. The entry led me to another post of Maddy Gynoid “Simtipp: Route 21” (in German). His blogpost teased me enough to go there myself. Maddy made some great pictures.

Route 21 – overview and orientation map

Route 21 – Rural/Small Town Hangout“, furtheron just Route 21, occupies a quarter of a full sim, rated moderate. It is owned by Terry Wardark. Route 21 is a “general hangout with a small town and rural vibe“, it is “a creation without specific purpose“. The landing is in a gazebo in a park. You get a notecard upon landing with some useful information. At the gazebo you can get also another notecard with hints how to get to the two haunted attractions on the sim for the fall season. Stepping out of the gazebo you see a memorial, the Howie Parker memorial, who was a friend of Terry in real life and passed away in 2017.

Impressions of Route 21 (1) – landing point, Howie Parker memorial, promenade and first view on the town

I had set the windlight to the recommended setting and went to the promenade first. The windlight was perfect for an athmospheric picture of the promenade and the lighthouse. But for my further simploring tour I used either “Anan Adored Realistic” or “Midnight” for my pictures.

The town is for sure a photographic highlight of Route 21. It looks best with the midnight setting. Next to the town is a gas station and garage.

Impressions of Route 21 (2) – town and gas station in different windlight settings.

From the gas station I followed the road over a narrow bridge and came to the rural part of Route 21 with a farm, waterfalls, a pond and nice, romantic places to chill or cuddle. This part is quite a contrast to the town – and very well made.

Impressions of Route 21 (3) – farm and waterfalls

Following the road you come to the Murder House, one of the fall attraction. As Halloween gets closer, you find some scary scenes inside. I turned left and came to the harbour, another photographic highlight of Route 21. It offers nice backgrounds.

Impressions of Route 21 (4) – Murder House and harbour

In one corner of the harbour, close to the truck, there’s the entrance cave for the second fall attraction. You walk through an old mine tunnel and at it’s end is a door which leads to another scary Halloween scene, the crypt, supposed you accept the experience.

Impressions of Route 21 (5) – The crypt – one more picture of the town

Route 21 is a nice place offering different backgrounds, nice spots to wind down and for the fall season also two Halloween installations. Although Terry Wardark wrote that it was created for no specific purpose, I think it has a purpose, the purpose to have fun. Thank you very much for sharing this fun, Terry. I enjoyed.

Diary 2020 (139) October 3rd – A day in control

Saturday afternoon, Ocotber 3rd, I started the green light, that Mistress had granted a few days before. Mistress had changed into something submissive and into her short hairstyle the night before just before we logged off to bed. Hence almost all was prepared. I made her wear a gag in addition. Mistress had used this gag on me before. It is a very old full perm gag that doesn’t work with the bento head. But it has a particular feature. It detects any attempt to talk in main chat and you can set a punishment time that adds to a timer. Hence with that gag I had Mistress all for myself (IM isn’t blocked) and I could provide an experience to her that I made already. Mistress had called it obedience training.

I took Mistress to Puerto Esclava, to BDSM Lifestyle Swinger Club and to club DeLust. I love exposing Mistress while she kneels at my feet. It fills me with pride that I own her. After almost an hour of clubbing I took Mistress home to the annex of our skybox. Mistress had caused quite some extra punishment time. Now she knows how difficult it is *winks*. The main problem is that you have to be very careful whre to type when chatting, you have to focus and to double check eacht time.

October 3nd: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at Puerto Esclava, at club DeLust and at home

I had prepared something for Mistress. My surprise should be the highlight of this afternoon. It was quite a disaster. I had bought a new chair, a chair that I saw when I was kinkploring on my own a few weeks ago. The moment I sat down and tried to find the right animation for being licked by Mistress, I noticed, it was not the chair that I wanted. Lazy me, I should have tried it out at home!! The chair did the job, but it was no surprise, no new pose that we hadn’t tried out before. To add to my mistake, I misclicked in the menu of the chair and it started to dump the whole content of poses into the main chat for about 10 minutes ongoing – and distracting at least me. Anyway, it was my mistake. When Mistress was off to tend to her RL, I bought the right chair and I tried it out this time.

When I returned at night Mistress came inworld a few minutes after me. I decided to make up for my mistake of before and rezzed the right new chair. And I got a proper licking *winks*

October 3rd: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at home

We went to see slave Flo afterwards. She was in the house cleaning. Mistress submissive feelings must be quite strong as she began to help slave Flo spontaneously. Of course I had to take some pictures of these rare moments. We played a round of greedy after the house was cleaned. Then I took my very owned Mistress and slave Flo to Coasta Verde http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Serena%20Cay%20Verde/147/129/28, a sim that I had visited a few days before (read here https://wp.me/psPPu-6bD). We had fun and visited the madfall at the fair, we tried the shooting and the carousel, we visited Master Bates motel, Mistress and slave Flo went on the ferris wheel and we visited the asylum. In simply words we had fun together. At the end of our visit we stayed a bit on the beach next to the sign “Be With Someone That Makes You Happy”, how fitting.

October 3rd: maid Mistress Jenny at home / Diomita, Mistress Jenny and slave Flo at Coasta Verde and at Mesmerize Dungeon

We spent some 20 minutes at Mesmerize Dungeon, then slave Flo had to leave to bed. I restricted Mistress and brought her to Psi’s realm where it was quite full that night. I had a complaint. Mistress had forgotten how to address me during my green lights *shakes her head*. Even after I asked her what she forgot, she didn’t remember.. bad girl. We didn’t stay long as I had to punish that. But it was more a light and playful punishment. I admit, I can’t do that really properly anymore *winks*. Hence she just got three smacks on her bare butt from me. Before we went to bed ourselves though, I took my fix and I did it teasingly slow, maybe that was the another light punishment.

October 3rd: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at Psi’s realm and at home

And that’s it about my day in control.

Simploring 2020 (69) Walsh County

For my simploring tour on Saturday, August 29th, I picked “Walsh County” from scoop.it SL Destinations. I read Maddy Gynoids “Simtipp: Walsh County” (in German) before I went there myself. Maddy made some great pictures there!

Walsh County is a general homestead owned by Randonee Noel. At the landing in the middle of nowhere on highway 17 you can grab a notecard by clicking on the highway sign. The notecard provides some information:

Up near the Canadian border glaciers have leveled the earth to where you can see that it’s curved. The winds move across the landscape interrupted only by the lines of trees planted there to interfere.
Agriculture is the cornerstone and the crops are gold. There are fewer than 9 people here for every square mile, but most will share a cup of coffee and a smile if you’re polite.
Welcome to Walsh County, North Dakota.”

Impressions of Walsh County (1)

Walsh County is not a fiction. Walsh County lies on the east side of North Dakota and has a population of about 10,000 people. You can read more about it on wikipedia here. Also the highway 17 is not a fiction. It is 139 miles in length and its alignment was established in 1939 (see wikipedia here).

Impressions of Walsh County (2)

When I looked around immediately “The Far Away” came into mind. I visited “The Far Away” in 2019 the last time (read here) and it is a real classic sim in Second Life.
Walsh County is also flat and there’s nothing but the highway, one tree, one pond with 3 ducks, one truck, a wind sock and ….. wheatfields. Anything else? Yes! A crop duster plane that spreads crop protectant over the cornfields. Watching the plane is fascinating and kept me busy for a while.

Impressions of Walsh County (3)

The scenery reminded me of a scene in the film “North by Northwest” directed by Alfred Hitchcock. In the film the main character Roger Thornhill (played by Gary Grant) is attacked by a crop duster plane – in the middle of nothing.

Impressions of Walsh County (4)

In Maddy’s post I read that SmacemanSpiff Grau, the parnter of Randonee Noel, supported her with building this fantasic sim. Walsh County is perfectly rural and transports the feeling of endless fields very well. A place to wind down. A place to take great pictures.
Randonee Noel also made a short video clip of Walsh County:

Thank you Randonee!

Art in Second Life 2020 (66) Halloween by Cica

Every Day is Halloween, isn’t it? For some of us” (Tim Burton)
This is the quote that Cica Ghost provides to us opening her newest installation “Halloween by Cica Ghost” yesterday, October 14th.

Yesterday night, when I came inworld, I had Cica’s invitation in my mailbox. Instead of playing a game or standing around in one of our clubs, I took Mistress and Flo with me and we visited “Halloween by Cica Ghost” together.

Halloween by Cica Ghost” is best experienced using the preset windlight and turning on advanced lighting with shadows of sun+projector. The arrival is in a half opened giant snail shell on a hill. You have a quite good view on Cica’s world from there. You see some dead bare trees, spiderwebs, a carriage, some typical “Cica-ish” houses in the background, some flowerbeds with black stems. The world is grey and bleak.

We entered Cica’s world. I tried to sit in the carriage first as I thoughr it would be a “Cica-mobil” but it wasn’t. It’s just a part of this world. There are quite some of Cica’s figures living in this world and they all are worth to look at in detail. The blooms in the flowerbeds turn out to be stars, spiders or bats. You see some quite big crows. Flo sat down on one of them and made a selfie. And of course there’re a lot of pumpkins as you would expect on Halloween.

The installation is full of details, on one wall you find a “cica-ish” drawing. It conjured a smile in my face seeing the odd couple selling ice cream. You will find a giant Cica-spider, an animal that I haven’t seen before from Cica, but you also find a giant snail, which I hadn’t expected in a Halloween installation.

We had fun exploring. We found a place to dance and I turned on the sound and heard – no surprise – scary sounds. “Halloween by Cica Ghost” has everything of Halloween: crows, spiders, pumkins, spiderwebs, bats, witch houses, graveyards, tombstones, odd people, bare trees, dark clouds. Cica plays with all clichés in a funny way. Mistress and I looked a bit bizarre with our fetish clothes in this world.

Anthing else? Oh yes! There’s no just one cat hidden at “Halloween by Cica Ghost“, I saw 5 cats. A boy sitting on a bench is stroking a cat, three others are stanging together close by and another is close to a witch-house. But there might be even more.

Halloween by Cica Ghost” is just lovely and perfect for a time-out. You can get away from it all and immerse yourself in a child’s world, you can enjoy the oddities and approach all the scary things and symbols of Halloween with curiosity in a playful way. Thank you, Cica!

Diary 2020 (138) October 2nd – Three Angels (II)

Friday, October 2nd, I met with Mistress Jenny in the later afternoon. I had in mind to start my green light, that Mistress had granted to being any time on Friday – and I usually don’t want to spoil any second.

Mistress Jenny was still in her “Angelique” shape and latex sailer outfit. We caugt up first with our mutual news, then I had to decide what to do. Angelique was inworld and Mistress was in the mood to see her and to do something together as three angels. I withstand the tempation to take control on the spot and postponed the begin of my green light to after our party at night. After I had dressed as Angelique and after I had slipped into her shape we went seeing Angelique at home.

Just seeing us three like this was fun. Mistress Jenny got Angelique’s animation and new we were really quite close to being triplets.

October 2nd – Three Angels: Mistress Jenny, Angelique and Diomita at home, at club Domme a Domme and at Mesmerize Dungeon / Mistress Jenny at work / Diomita at work.

We went to club Domme a Domme and to Mesmerize Dungeon and of course we attracted some attention. At Mesmerize Dungeon Scarlet (mswhiplash) joined us and began to ask questions and to tease us. Mistress called me “Auntie”, I called her Mistress Angelique, and talking in main we got getting confused ourselves.

We discussed the theme on our Friday night party. It had to be a theme where we could stay like we were to have more fun as three angels. We agreed on: “The weekend is ahead. Let’s sail into it with our traditional party. Wear sexy sailor outfits, or come as you are.”

Once again, I had to admit that being in Angelique’s shoes does make me feel submissive and Mistress admitted that it has the same effect on her. Well, if I would recover quickly enough that was fine for my green light. Feeling submissively and also enjoying the situation Mistress said, that we can’t address Angelique with “Miss” as she dislikes it very much and proposed to call her “Head Maid” instead. I did so in private chat…
Diomita: “Is the house cleaned, Head Maid?
Angelique: “You should ask yourself girl, that’s your job!”
Diomita blushes crimson read
Diomita: “yes, Head Maid”
Angelique shakes her head heavy sighing
After that dialogue I went home quickly and began to clean the house. Mistress joined me and cleaned a windows before she needed to log off to tend to her RL. But she was naughty enough to ask for a picture of us kneeling next to Angelique’s hologram statue at home. What a fun afternoon!

When I cam inworld at night, Scarlet (mswhiplash) was at our homeplace. slave Flo was playing greedy with herself. The “Angelique” virus seems to spread even faster than the corona virus. Scarlet was in her “Angelique” outfit and of course I made a picture of the two of us. Later Angelique told me that she had helped Scarlet getting the latex sailor dress – funny nonetheless. Too bad, that Scarlet couldn’t attend our party due to her RL.

October 2nd – Another two angels: Diomita and Scarlet (mswhiplash)

Our Friday night party was really fun that night. The theme offered a lot of opportunities for banter and Starry convinced Talos to get very tight shorts. Mistress had to spank me once in order that I stop starring at him *winks*. We had a lot of main chat, great music and a perfect start into our weekend.
