Art in Second Life 2020 (18A) Endometriosis by Cherry Manga

On Friday, April 10th, I had some time in the later morning and went on a short art-tour. I first went to “Hannington Endowment for the Arts at Xeltentat Enterprises” (HEA). On April 10th, at night, a new installation was going to be opened “Endometriosis by Cherry Manga” and I had a quick look at it.
I came across Cherry Manga in January when I visited Strange Garden (see here), which is located in a huge skybox sphere at ADreNaLin, a new art and music place owned by JadeYu Fhang and Cherry Manga. And at the opening of “Endometriosis by Cherry Manga” the music was by JadeYu.

Endimetriosis by Cherry Manga at HEA gallery (1)

“Endometriosis is a condition in which cells similar to those in the endometrium, the layer of tissue that normally covers the inside of the uterus, grow outside of it. Most often this is on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and tissue around the uterus and ovaries; however, in rare cases it may also occur in other parts of the body (source: wikipedia)

Endimetriosis by Cherry Manga is a 3D installatio with a large female figure in the center. The woman suffers from Endimetriosis and is surrounded by red blood plates floating around her. I personally suffered with her but I also was impressed by the artful creation and how the moving light made her look differently from various angels and even from one position. I can imagine that there’s an additional effect with the right music.

Hannington Endowment  for the Arts at Xeltentat Enterprises – Despite ist name “Xeltentat Enterprises” is not a Commercial sim in any way. It is a peaceful and private area for contemplation and Relaxation, nd is proud to host Artists at The Hive!”
It is owned by Hannington Xeltentat. “Hanningtom Endowment for the Arts at Xeltentat Enterprises” – or short HEA, was built by Tansee, who also runs the gallery.  Thank you Hannington for providing the space and thank you Tansee from enabling the isntallation “Endometriosis by Cherry Manga”

Simploring 2020 (29) Kohlmannskuppe

Just in time for Easter Serene Footman opened his new sim “Kohlmannskuppe” taking us to “a ghost town and tourist destination in southern Namibia. Once a thriving diamond mine and one of the richest towns in Africa, the abandoned buildings are now being swallowed by the Namib desert.

Kohlmannskuppe was given up in 1956. Serene has done a very detailed resarch about the history of Kohlmannskuppe, he studied pictures taken today and historic pictures. He researched the history of the place and it’s current state as the town is flooded with sand. He gives us some insight into the era when Kohlmannskuppe flourished as a diamond mine during the time of the colonial power of Germany in the early 20th century.

Impressions of Kohlmannskuppe in Second Life (1) – the entrance building / around the landing point

He rebuilt some of the most outstanding buildings that are still existent, first and foremost the Kasino with it’s theater room but also others like the ice factory that provided the community with ice for their fridges. He also rebuilt some residential houses and – with all artistic freedom – gave them the look and feeling of how they look today and back in the early 20th century.

I strongly recommend to read Serene’s own blogpost “Kolmannskuppe – The Ghost Town of Namib Desert” before visiting. It will enhance your experience. Another good source is the entry about Kohlmannskuppe in wikipedia here.

Impressions of Kohlmannskuppe in Second Life (2) – The Kasino with theatre room and cafe

Impressions of Kohlmannskuppe in Second Life (3) – ice factory, bakery and a barrack

In his blogpost Serene also wrote about the buildings you see at Kohlmannskuppe in Second Life and who helped to create what we can now experience virtually: “Directly opposite the Kasino, you will find the teacher’s house, for which I have utilised the prefab brilliantly created by Milk Motion (Marie Lauridsen). This building has those richly coloured walls one finds in so many photographs of the real Kolmannskuppe.

There are more very interesting details in Kohlmannskuppe like the tram that was used to transport water from one end of the town to the other. The tram that you can see was built “in a collaborative effort with Harry Cover (impossibleisnotfrench), who helped with the tram’s seats and brakes. Harry also helped out by meshing the quirky little diamond retrieval machine that sits next to the Kasino building.

Impressions of Kohlmannskuppe in Second Life (4) – account house / around the tram station

At the 2nd floor of the Kasino building you will find a small gift shop, with custom-made postcards, posters, and tee shirts for sale, as well as a museum area.

Impressions of Kohlmannskuppe in Second Life (5) – the bowling at the 2nd floor of the Kasino / behind the Kasino/ desert camp and wildlife

But there’s a lot more to explore and discover like original boards in several languages spread over the sim. These boards are really there in reality, in particular the one to protect the brown hyenas. Serene also added some animals quite rarely seen in Second Life, “such as Bighorn sheep, Gemsbock (aka Oryx), Sable Antelope, Wildebeest” and the above mentioned Hyenas.
I want to mention the big pool, nowadays filled with sand. This pool was really there and it played an important role for the community.

Impressions of Kohlmannskuppe in Second Life (6) – Hospital ruins / pool and water storage

Don’t miss seeing the 2 colonial houses that witness the former wealth of Kohlmannskuppe. You can walk inside and as opposed to reality, going in is safe! You find the leftovers of the former residents, some look like they just left like the kids toys in one of them or the sewing machine, some other leftovers are just rubbish.

Impressions of Kohlmannskuppe in Second Life (7) – Colonial house, witness of former wealth

As usual in Serene’s installations you find many opportunities to sit and watch on furniture that is not that inviting, but fits to the scenery.

Once again Serene Footman took us to a place that most of us will never see in reality and can be experienced now virtually for a limited time. During times where we all can’t travel in the physcial world – take the opportunity to travel to Kohlmannskuppe.

Impressions of Kohlmannskuppe in Second Life (8) – Colonial house, witness of former wealth

Thank you very much for this Easter present, Serene. I enjoyed my visit a lot and I took tons of pictures. One personal remark: Yasminia, the sim where Kohlmannskuppe is built on, was once kind of my second home in Second Life about 10 years ago and it is already the second time that I visited it on my simploring tours with a totally different design. What a coincidence!

Diary 2020 (48) April 1st/2nd Back wearing my normal collar

When I came inworld Wednesday, April 1st, Mistress Jenny had a surprise on stock for me. She had been shopping and was wearing an overwhelmingly looking skirt and jacket – wow. And then she gave me a little fashion show and showed me all of the new clothes she had bought to spoil herself (and to keep me at her feet) – just impressive.

April 1st: Mistress Jenny gives Diomita a little fashion show / Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club with slave Luci

We went to Heavy Bondage Club where slave Luci joined us. I admit, I didn’t read that many profiles while we were there as I was looking at Mistress most of the time. Mistress herself had an IM that made her and me smile. It was about someone who really hates us and who is mad at us. Some people are just .. let’s say at least weired. Anyway, our hour together went by quickly!

At night I came inworld early to sort my inventory, to buy a few clothes on the marketplace and to change into an outfit similar to that that Angelique was wearing the night before (and also that night). Mistress Jenny came inworld just when I was about to finish with changing. Our night became varied and very enjoyable.

First we went in our house with slave Flo and slave Gwendi and I made slave Gwendi wear her steel bra fitting to the chastity belt and a pair of ankle ballet boots. That is her April outfit, slave Flo is in hers already. We had a game of greedy next before we went to Cage Elegance to attend Gravity’s Wednesday night party. Angelique joined us there.

April 1st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home with slave Gwendi and slave Flo and dancing at Caged Elegance with the slaves and Angelique

We had fun and a lot of chatting. Angelique teased me because of my outfit and I teased her back. As Mistress expressed it before wheil we were playing greedy “If we dressed according to our age we would scare away everyone”. After the end of the party we went to Psi’S realm and continued talking and teasing and having fun until we went home at “Flo-time” punctually.

April 1st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Psi’s with slave Gwendi, slave Flo and Angelique, at club DeLust and at home in our skybox

Mistress Jenny and I went to club DeLust for half an hour and talked and then went to bed ourselves. I’m back to my normal collar.

Thursday, April 2nd, Mistress and I met in the afternoon and we spent some time at club Domme a Domme and Heavy Bondage Club, chatting and enjoying togetherness.

April 2nd: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme and Heavy Bondage Club

We returned home after 45 minutes and Mistress allowed me to get my fix by licking her making me falling deeper again and she made my pay a price, yet a fair one. She left me leashed and cuffed until her return at night.

April 2nd: Mistress Jenny and Diomita in our skybox having an intimate time

Our night was a bit unexpected. We had a full house with slave Gwendi, slave Flo, Ann, a friend of Ann named Filly and Angelique all arriving one after another and with some interruptions due to RL we stayed about one hour just chatting and havind banter, talking about clothes and shine and just relaxed. We didn’t want to stay there all night, so Mistress, the slaves, Angelique and I retreated after one hour and played a round of skipee (Mistress Jenny won it).

April 2nd: Mistress Jenny, Diomita, Angelique, Ann, slave Gwendi, slave Flo, Filly at our house / after playing skipee / Mistress Jenny, Angelique and Diomita at Mesmerize Dungeon and club DeLust

After the game the slaves went to bed and Mistress Jenny, Angelique and I went to Mesmerize Dungeon and to club DeLust until it was bedtime for us too.

Simploring 2020 (28) Silent Melody

For my simploring tour on Saturday, March 28th, I picked Silent Melody from scoop.it SL Destinations after reading the entry of Inara Pey “Attuned to a Silent Melody in Second Life” that was a real good teaser for me.

Silent Melody bird’s eye view and orientation map

Silent Meldoy is a moderate full region owned by Celtic McDaniels (celtic3147). The landmark description is inviting “Meet new friends, take lots of pictures and explore the photogenic spring themed sim. “

Impressions of Silent Melody (1) – around the landing point / event area (lower right)

And yes, it is photogenic! Right at the landing point, which is next to a fountain, I got some beautiful views and I watched a squirrel making gymnastic exercises on a hanging bird feeder – funny!

Impressions of Silent Melody (2) – in the romantic forest

From the fountain I began my simploring tour and walked to the forest. On my way I passed an event area built on a wooden deck on the water. The forest is very romantic, the trees are illuminated as well as the deer heads, In the forest you find some nice places to sit and enjoy this fairy forest. Close to the forest I also came across an overgrown white piano.

Impressions of Silent Melody (3) – the white piano / at one of the rivers

Silent Melody is dominated by big waterfalls. The water runs down into the sea over two rivers and the rivers offer nice places for pictures or for a rest. Did I mention that you find many nice places for a rest or to cuddle with your loved one at Silaten melody? I walked a bit cross-country ti the falls and noticed a cave at one side. It turned out to be a cave for meditation and of course I made a short rest there.

Impressions of Silent Melody (4) – the falls and the meditation cave

I visited the town next, which once again is a perfect place for romance. It is decorated nicely and has a smal and cosy public park at it’s entrance. The Irish pub is picturesque not only from outside but also from the inside. Next to the public park is another event area, which looks perfect for weddings.

Impressions of Silent Melody (5) – the town with the Irish pub and the cafe

Impressions of Silent Melody (6) – the wedding place at the public park (upper left) / at the beach house and the beach itself

From the town I walked to the beach with its beach house. The beach house is public and furnished with style. The terrace is a great place to meed with friends and to enjoy the view over the beach. The beach istself offers more opportunities to sit and enjoy. Quite close to the beach is a campfire with several sitting opportunities. By the way, did I mention that you find many nice places for a rest or to cuddle with your loved one at Silaten melody? *winks*

Impressions of Silent Melody (7) – the campfire (upper left) and more places to sit and enjoy

Silent Melody is a very nice, romantic sim, almost too beautiful but in Second Life we can enjoy these peaceful romantic places that can distract us from everyday life, which is not that easy right now for many of us. I enjoyed my virtual trip to Silent melody in particular as I have to stay home at the moment.
Thank you very much Celtic McDaniels (celtic3147) for sharing your place with the public! It is just amazing.

Diary 2020 (47) March 30th/31st Relaxed days at Mistress’ side (III)

Monday, March 30th, I met with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon at Heavy Bondage Club. We enjoyed one hour of togetherness. I had a longer conversation with Anne (anniebrightstar) about my post Simploring 2020 (25 A) Mole Lido. She told me a lot about “The Moles” and their assignment in Second Life. We had a really nice and for me also educational chat.

We spent our night with Angelique, slave Flo and slave Gwendi. Angelique still works as a maid in Second Life employed by a couple, who recently moved to Caged Elegance. Mistress Jenny had asked Angelique to provide a few pictures showing her at work and Angelique gave them to Mistress and me that night.

March 30th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club / Angelique at work

We started our night with a game of skipee with 5 people, hence no teams. It was a close game particularly between Angelique and me and close games are always more fun. slave Flo was a bit frustrated as she had bad luck and that gave reason to give her a special treat (we had that in mind anyway). We took the slaves to our dungeon and this time slave Gwendi had to spoil slave Flo while Mistress, Angelique and I watched.

March 30th in our dungeon: slave Gwendi spoiling slave Flo, Mistress, Diomita and Angelique watching

The slaves went to bed after this litte session and Mistress, Angelique and I went to club DeLust for some eye candy. Mistress Jenny and Angelique had a private chat that really made me smile:

Mistress Jenny: did you see anyone interesting here Angel ?
Angelique: not really Auntie
Mistress Jenny: we had not been here for a while, some old faces, some new – but not really any changes
Angelique: a whole lot of ‘dickgirls’ these days
Mistress Jenny: something I noticed and not a good thing either
Angelique nods: I agree
Mistress Jenny: not that I mind, but it seems to be tiny cocks in cages hanging outside of clothes everywhere
Angelique: it seems a trend
Mistress Jenny: yes lets hope it is just a phase
Mistress Jenny: Auntie D would have too many keys to lose if it continues
Angelique laughs: “oh dear”

March 30th: Mistress Jenny, Angelique and Diomita at club DeLust

Back home and before we went to bed Mistress reminded me that my time at her side was going to end end of March meaning the very next day. After wearing my partnering collar for more than two weeks I should fully enjoy my last day.

Tuesday, March 31st, Mistress Jenny and I had only a short time inworld together in the afternoon. We too slave Flo and slave Luci to Mesmerize Dungeon for a few minutes, we caught up with our mutual news, we had some eye candy and then returned into our RL.

March 31st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Mesmerize Dungeon with slave Flo and slave Luci, at home in our skybox and with slave Flo at Mature Dommes

When I returned at night Mistress was already waiting for me sitting in her throne. While we chatted I had the opportunity to make a few close-up pictures of us in our twin partnerlook.

Mistress Jenny and Diomita March 31st, 2020

We were interrupted by a restart of our homesim. Those rolling restarts are every Tuesday but usually during the day and not at night. We went down and picked up slave Flo, who was cleaning our house, and took her to Mature Dommes. I took a latex hood with me and I pulled it over slave Flo’s head there. After somme leeway and more freedom during the last 2 weeks it was about time to further thighten the restrictions of our slave as we enter April. That had started already a few days before with adding the armless venus corset.

We returned home when our homesim was available again. Angelique and slave Gwendi came inworld and joined Mistress Jenny, slave Flo and me. We played a round a greedy first and had some fun while we talked about the restrictions in our RL and about face masks. Mistress Jenny  and Angelique proposed head boxes as an outstanding effective alternative.

March 31st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at the greedy table and with Angelique, slave Flo and slave Gwendi at Psi’s realm

After the game we went to Psi’s realm which was quite full again. Someone had created a real piece of artwork with a slave making her a toilet paper holder and adding more references to the situation in the physcial world – funny! Amy (chastitycontroled) who had spent some days with our Kitty was playing with two slaves and we had fun listening and watching and got an insight of what she might have done with Kitty.

March 31st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at our skybox

At “Flo-time” we went back home, said good night to Angelique and the slaves and retreated to our skybox. Mistress Jenny allowed me to lick her and to get my fix. I knew the price for it in advance. Mistress replaced my partnering collar with the sub collar afterwards and thus began slowly pushing me back into my position. It had been quite a long time at Mistress’ side. Thank you, Mistress Jenny.

Simploring 2020 (27) Noir’Wen City

For my simploring tour on Friday, April 3rd, I picked Noir’Wen CITY from scoop.it SL Destinations because there was just a picture with a big city scene and a Japanese text and no blog entries yet. And it turned out to be a kinky place and not what I expected at all.

Noir’Wen City overview and office (landing point)

Noir’Wen City is an adult full region. As far as I could figure out it is owned by Belice Benoir and Nieu (NieuwenHove). The landmark description is short and a hint for the adult content “For a pleasure momentum…”

The landing in on the ground level of a highrise building in kind of an office. There’re several boards: One with the team who created Noir’Wen City (Belice Benoir, NieuwenHove, Ambre Singh, ateeya, GiorgioAcqua, Niky Niki, Hettange Ferryhill, marinagracherl), one with the support staff (onlye one person so far: Nathalie Monday), two boards with the logos of stores (amoung those also renowed brands like Real Restraints, NGW, Hugo Design, WS Creations, Nihil… in total over 50 stores) and one board for events. I had the opportunity to talk with Natahalie Monday at the end of my visit and learned that Noir’Wen City exists since last Summer and at this plave since January 2020.
And in Belice Benoir’s profile I found the following short description “Welcome to Noir’Wen village .. For your kinky pleasure elevation… Your permanent fetish fair to be explored !!! My passionate design project … with a great team!”

Noir’Wen City is a permant fetish fair with over 50 inworld stores.
Noir’Wen City is a place to socialize with at least 2 larger clubs (from what I saw during my simploring tour)
Noir’Wen City is a place for the art with several galleries and lots of art exhibited in the streets
Noir’Wen City is a big city and as such offers a great background for pictures
Noir’Wen City offers also rentals (luxurious villas) and you can become part of the community

Noir’Wen City – the permanent fetish fair

Stepping out of the office I noticed the first shops. This is not a usual fair with one shop or stand next to the other. Each shop is embedded in the city surrounding, some a small, some are larger, some extend over an entire building. It feels like going shopping in a city! With one little but important difference: All shops are either about kinks, bondage gear, about fetish clothing, beauty or jewelery – or short: the shops I visit usually *winks*

On my simploring tour I came across two larger clubs, the “Little Treat Bar” in a building with a cinema sign and “Le Boudoir Des Libertines” in a large seperate building. Both clubs were not empty. A group of people stood outside “Le Boudoir Des Libertines” and were talking French, obviously a French club. At the “Little Treat Bar” I was welcomed in English. Both clubs have their own flair and are very stylish. Later I learned that I missed some clubs (not that I am surprised) there’s also: Backdrop club, the brothel and the pole dance.

Noir’Wen City – “Little Treat Bar” and “Le Boudoir Des Libertines”

In Belice Benoir profile I read that she has a passion for art and owns her own gallery “ars amandi art gallery“. In Noir’Wen City is one building dedicated to this “ars amandi art gallery”, yet it is just an affiliate. The current exhibition there is called “The golden cage”. The building is a former indoor swimming pool now remodelled as a gallery for the erotic art of Belice Benoir. I enjoyed my visit and I intend to visit her main gallery, the “ars amandi art gallery“, soon.

Impressions of the exhibtion “The golden cage” at the affiliate “ars amandi art gallery” in Nor’Wen City

But there is more at in Nor’Wen City. The streets are full of it, mainly with art from Nieu (NieuwenHove) and from Belice Benoir. Road barriers or walls of buildings, boards or crossings are used to exhibit art. One picture from Nieu (NieuwenHove) caught my eye in particular “Au Joyeux dildo” – funny! You will find other galleries, like the gallery CM and the gallery of Ambre Singh. And I saw boards for a current photo contest at Noir’Wen City (Artists and photographers can register until 25 April to take part in the contest). They must then submit an artwork (digital processing allowed) by April 30th at the latest)

Art in the streets of Noir’Wen City and galleries

Beside of all this, Noir’Wen City is also a great place to explore and to take pictures. The city has flair and offers also outdoor cafe’s and bars as well as some spots by the shore to sit and enjoy. There’s one shore where the skylinie of NYC is in the background, another great place for a picture. You should also have a look inside of the church, it is a quite unusal church!

Nor’Wen City – Impressions of a simploring tour

Diomita in Nor’Wen City

I enjoyed my visit to Nor’Wen City! Thank you to Belice Benoir, Nieu (NieuwenHove) and to the whole team as well as to Natahalie Monday who gave me a bit more information. I hope that Noir’Wen City will get the attention it deserves.

Art in Second Life 2020 (17) La Maison d’Aneli April 2020

On Wednesday, April 8th, the April exhibtion at La Maison d’Aneli was opened to the public. This time it features the art of Agleo Runningbear, Eifachfilm Vacirca, Etamae, FionaFei, Tralala Loordes, Xirana Oximoxi and Kalyca McCallen. I peeked into the exhibtion already on Sunday, April 5th.

I started my visit with the room presenting the art of Etamae.
Etamae is from the UK and began transforming her pictures from  the things she has seen and loved in Second Life into something else, in digital art in 2018. I came across Etamae in 2019 when I visited her exhibtion “Dominance and Submission” at Elevate Femdom (see here). Today Etamae has also an own gallery to showcase her art, the Extempore Gallery and Lounge, another gallery I might visit soon. At La Maison d’Aneli Etamae works with animated pictures that change permanently either with fading in and out different perspectives of the same picture or with zooming in and out. Two of these pictures are on twisted surfaces thus increasing the animation effect. We see heads and bodies or broken bits of them, the walls are covered by webs of barb wire, faces watch us… you can let your mind wander in the complexity of thoughts and impressions.

La Maison d’Aneli – April 2020 – Etamae

Kalyca McCallen and Proton d-oo-b (Eifachfilm Vacirca) formed Alchemelic, a Zurich-based music and art project with cinematographic background, mixed media, and 3D modeling. Proton d-oo-b (Eifachfilm Vacirca) is from Switzerland and looks back on decades of experience in different media businesses. His music style ranges from traditional to experimental. Kalyca McCallen is a multi-media artist from California and loves experimenting with texture and color. They aspire to spark our imagination and elevate our mood with their unique blend of visual art and original music. Kalyca McCallen and Proton d-oo-b (Eifachfilm Vacirca)’s installation at La Maison d’Aneli is titeled “The Space Between”. In their room you see three large 3D heads on both long sides of their room leading you to a door that brings you to platform with the core installation. You enter the space … planets and stars around you between 2 even larger 3D heads, a strange world, a fantasy, science fiction in your mind. Imagine that with experimental music!
Unfortunately I had no music from Alcemelic during my visit though but I had a look at their youtube channel, where you find many long and short clips of their music and their 3D art. The provided notecard at La Maison d’Aneli provides much more information and many more links.

La Maison d’Aneli – April 2020 – Kalyca McCallen and Proton d-oo-b (Eifachfilm Vacirca)

April Louise Turner (Agleo Runningbear) is an artisan shaman with native American, Romanian, German and Irish roots (wow). She makes perfomances, poems and paintings. Her art is also featured at ArtCare Gallery, another place to be added on my list of places to visit. At La Maison d’Aneli we see portraits in different techniques, mainly pencil drawings. At the time of my visit, her room was not yet finished and the pictures weren’t yet aligned perfectly, but the pictures itself were already there and the longer you look at them, the more they impress.

La Maison d’Aneli – April 2020 – April Louise Turner (Agleo Runningbear)

Tralala Loordes is in Second Life since SL 2009 and devoted to everything post-apocalyptic. But she’s also tempted by LODE headpieces. To her “they’re so much like Renaissance flower paintings. Flowers also have stories, myths, lore”. I never heard about LODE headpieces nor did I find a definition. In her room at La Maision d’Aneli you can see them: fantasy portraits with huge headpieces made of flowers and other elements. The pictures are presented in a fantasy environment, each picture held by a hand, a few pigeons on the floor and flying around and 2 large trees at the entrance so that you enter a different world.

La Maison d’Aneli – April 2020 – Tralala Loordes

Xirana Oximoxi is a Catalan artist, children’s books writer and illustrator. She works with different mediums, oil, watercolor, acrylic, ink, charcoal and pastel. At La Maison d’Aneli she presents her exhibition “Lost Souls”, which is in some way related to the current situation in all of our real lifes: “During these days of confinement many of us have to reinvent ourselves a bit so we can have a better time locked up at home. Walking around the rooftop I noticed the irregular surface of the walls and they have become a source of inspiration. “Lost Souls” is the title of a series of images I discovered following a small crack or the configuration suggested by the little fragments of rock of the conglomerate. The technique is a mixed media of photography and digital retouch.” It is fun to look at these stone surfaces and to discover faces, it attracts your attention to look more intensively and to abstract. It is not the first time that she is featured at La Maison d’Aneli. I saw her exhibtion “Women Artists XVI-XIX” there in February 2019 (see here)
Xirana has her an own website and an own blog.

La Maison d’Aneli – April 2020 – Xirana Oximoxi

I came across FionaFei’s art already two times this year visiting her Shui Mo Gallery (see here) and visiting her installation Impostor (see here).
Fiona is Chinese by decent but spent the majority of her life in the West: “I have a fascination with Chinese history and culture, but I often feel like I’m viewing my ancestry through a filter of Americanized information and experiences. Furthermore, my artistic background has been in charcoal and oil painting mediums, and I’ve had very little experience in actual ink-brush painting.” For more information look up FionaFei’s own website.
At La Maison d’Aneli we see 6 2D paintings of Fiona arranged at the left and at the right side of her installation. The installation itself is a bit more colourful then what I saw from her so far, held in black, red and green. And again you can walk in and get a part of the installation – and walking in your get different perspectives. Another piece of art, another technique – and I like it.

La Maison d’Aneli – April 2020 – FionaFei

La Maison d’Aneli is owned by Aneli Abeyante. Through her gallery she brings together all forms of creativity in RL and SL and the featured artists come from around the globe. Aneli’s intention is to “put her gallery in the service of artists, so that the world can be better, exchanges and meetings probably contribute even though it seems to be particles.
Thank you for another great joined exhibtion, Aneli. As always I enjoyed my visit and writing about it. It always inspires me.

Diary 2020 (46) March 28th/29th Double Trouble Tour

Saturday, March 28th, I went on another simploring tour in the late afternoon.
Our night became very full and varied. First I played a greedy with slave Gwendi, slave Flo and Angelique until Mistress Jenny came inworld. We decided to first get a bit entertained by the slaves. Hence we took them to our patio. slave Gwendi had to strip and was fixed in a bondage frame and slave Flo with her arms restricted used her tongue to tease slave Gwendi and finally made her cum while Mistress Jenny, Angelique and I watched.

I helped slave Gwendi to get down from the frame and locked her into a bondage cage with wheels and we went to Mesmerize Dungeon. Soon after we arrived Kitty came inworld. At the moment she is with Amy (chastitycontroled) who caught her and kept her. Mistress Jenny had visited Kitta and Amy already. Kitty was alone as Amy wasn’t inworld and we decided to visit her. To my surprise Kitty was free, just unable to teleport due to restrictions.

March 28th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Gwendi, slave Flo and Angelique at home, at Mesmerize Dungeon and with Kitty at Black Widow Estate

The place where Kitty is held is Black Widow Estate – Hardcore BDSM Club and Slave Training Site, a place owned by Alice Strangelove (alicestrangelove), Amy (chastitycontroled) is a Mistress there. We asked Kitty to get a tour. Alice, the owner was present and we went seeing her. Alice was inside of her big house together with Kaoru Hara (derpmerpaderp) and she was very hospitable. We chatted, talked about her place which is quite new and her plans .. and time just flew by again. We went back home at Flo-time. Mistress summoned Kitty to us and after slave Flo left I released slave Gwendi from her bondage cage and she went to her “room” (cell) and as slave Christin’s cell was empty, Kitty took this “room” (cell). What a full night!

Sunday became a fun day with a lot of time inworld. First I met with Mistress in the later morning, just shorty, yet it was an unexpected bonus. We went to club Domme a Domme and caught up with our mutual news.

March 29th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme and in our loft skybox

We met again in the early afternoon and went to our loft skybox where we started the afternoon with some intimate time together. What a start!
Mistress asked me to dress like her and I also dyed my hair. Luckily that is a quick and easy procedure in SL *winks*. Mistress added her elegnace collar and left the key out. I had to do the same. Vulnerable like this but dressed to killed on the other hand we went on a long roming tour and visited … the Lesbian Teahouse, club Domme a Domme, Heavy Bondage Club, Dungeon of FDS, club De Lust and Loseria. At Losiera we were surrounded by queens and goddesses. Strange enough that we got not a single application there – did we look that scary??

March 29th – Double Trouble Tour: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at the Lasbian teahouse, club Domme a Domme, Heavy Bondage Club, Dungeon of FDS, club De Lust and Loseria

The “Double Trouble Tour” took over 2 hours, 2 hours where just a few dared to talk to us and none dared to click our collars. Nonetheless Mistress and I had a lot of fun, looking at ourselves, enjoying the vulnerability, reading profiles, chit-chatting and just being together side by side

When I returned inworld at night Mistress Jenny had further detailled her look and wore glasses just like me – twins! We started the night playing a round of greedy with slave Gwendi and slave Flo. Afterwards I made slave Gwendi strip again and put her into the transportable slut cage, then we continued our big roaming tour and went to Mesmerize Dungeon first and stayed there for about half an hours, then we moved on to Psi’s realm. It was full at Psi’s again and a lot was going on but mainly people must have been talking in private chats. Anyway, our twin outfit and slave Gwendi in her transportable slut cage caught some attention.

We moved on the Lochme to complete the tour of that day. Just Puerto Esclava was missing from the list of our regular places but it is too full there so that you can’t get there with 4 people as the sim only handles 20 avatars. At Flo time we returned home and after slave Flo had left to bed I released slave Gwendi from the transportable slut cage and made her wear a chastity belt.

Mistress and I went off to bed ourselves. It was a long, enjoyable fun day, just right to distract us from the world around us in RL.

Diary 2020 (45) March 26th/27th Relaxed days at Mistress’ side (II)

Mistress and I had a relaxed day in Second Life Thursday, March 26th. We met in the afternoon and after a round of greedy we took slave Luci to Mesmerize Dungeon where we chatted, looked a profiles and had fun with not only a queen around us but also a royal goddess, which much rank higher even *winks*

March 26th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Mesmerize Dungeon with slave Luci

Our night was also quite relaxed. slave Flo, slave Gwendi and slave Luci were present. We still have to decide about a slave outfit for April and we gave the slaves the assignment to coume up with suggestions for it. This lead to quite some chat and some interesting spontaneous ideas…
slave Gwendi: naked……….
slave Flo blushes
slave Gwendi: latex forbidden for Flo or no ballets
slave Flo whispers: I cannot tell you Mistress
slave Gwendi: chaingang
slave Flo: no steel !!!
slave Gwendi: maid
Diomita: it seems as if slave Gwendi has ideas for one year
slave Flo starts to write her thousand wishes
Diomita: and no ideas just to spoil slave Flo’s fun .. no latex… no ballets *tze tze tze
slave Gwendi: dressed like policeofficers .. or a puppysuit from
slave Flo shivers – puppy suit
slave Gwendi: schoolgirl

The slaves will get some time though to think about possible outfits…

March 26th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Flo, slave Gwendi and slave Luci at home, at Heavy Bondage Club and at Mesmerize Dungeon

We went to Heavy Bondage Club and to Memserize Dungeon with the slaves, we chatted and teased the slaves about what might come and had a relaxed night. When slave Luci lefft for bed, Mistress Jenny and I took slave Flo and slave Gwendi home and we played a skipee as teams. slave Flo laughed her ass off during this one sided game with jokers and fitting cards for Mistress Jenny and her in several series. Of course Mistress and slave Flo won. We love the game being closer but sometimes the cards are as they are.

Mistress had an early start the next day and hence we went all off to bed after the game.

Friday, March 27th, I went on another simploring tour in the afternoon. And at night we had another Friday night party. Times are quite weired in RL for all of us and I asked the slaves propose a theme for the party:

slave Flo Idea – Freedom!!!
Diomita bursts our in laughter
Diomita: any colour?
Mistress Jenny: Freedom comes in all colours
Diomita: so dress colourfully? Sounds good to me, Mistress. There’s our theme!
Virgo Babii: great, i’m wearing white, that’s all colours, no?
Diomita: …. Freedom means… Freedom … so feel free

Friday night party March 27th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny, Eddie (Edelwulf Suppenkraut), Baroness Capelo, Argi Boa, Virgo Babii (upper row), Della Randt, Starbright Wingtips, Firefly (rmf361sim), slave Flo, slave Gwendi, Jammy (navanaxsacratus) (lower row)

We enjoyed social nearness and had fun starting our weekend, that will be one hour shorter for us in Europe as we switch to Summer time.

Art in Second Life 2020 (16) swim with elephants by Betty Tureaud

I came across “swim with elephants” scrolling through scoop.it SL Destinations. The entry led to a post of Dido Haas: “Swim with Elephants by Betty Tureaud.” Dido is a photographer, she is the owner and curator of Nitroglobus Hall, as well as a blogger (Exploring SL with Dido). I added the link to her blog to the active blogs list today.

Back to “swim with elephants“, which is an installation of Betty Tureaud at African Sun, a full (adult) region. The region is group owned and the group was foung by Aki (akikokinoshi). I assume that African Sun is owned by Aki.

Betty Tureaud is from Denmark, she’s a builder and light and space artist in Second Life. I came across her art before at ArtSpace UTSA in 2016 (read here), in August 2018 when I visited her isntallation “The Art Game” (read here) and in January 2019 when her work was shown at La Maison d’Aneli (read here).

The installation “swim with elephants” is quite unique and fitting to the sim name African Sun. It is installed in a sphere in 4000m height. The sky and the ground is orange and yellow so that you literally feel the heat provided by the sun which shines strongly and unrestrictedly. The sphere is large, you see elephants slowly walking in a circle, each elephant has a beam in yellow, green pink or yellow pointing from its back into the sky. You see a large group of flamingos, you see a pyramid at the horizont, a range of dark orange rocks, and some trees. Right in the center of all and close to the landing there’s kind of a pond (or is it simply sand?), yet you can’t really see any difference to the ground around. Humans float in the pond (on the sand?) forming a circle and you can become a part of them by “sitting” on the center sphere.

The backs of the elephants can be used for dancing. I can only imagine every back occupied by the dancing guests on the occasion of the opening party of “swim with elephants” on March 22nd.
I went insode of the pyramid where you find another elephant with a Japanese temple on its back. The temple spews Japanese characters every once in a while and you can sit on the trunk of the elephant.

I don’t want to interpret Betty Tureaud’s work, everyone has different thoughts looking at or expierencing art. For me “swim with elephants” had something peacefully. I sweat, I could feel the heat, but it wasn’t threatening. It’s like walking or dancing in an African dream, not everything must have a meaning. After my visit I asked myself if elephants are seen as having wisdom in Japan, considering the elephant that spew characters in the pyramid …
Anyway have a look yourself!

Thank you Betty Tureaud for the installaion and Aki (akikokinoshi) for providing the space for it.
