Simploring 2019 (76) Malaika Park

For my simploring tour on Saturday, June 22nd, I picked Malaika Park from scoop.it SL Destinations. There were already quite some blog posts published about Malaika Park and I read Inara Pey’s post “Exploring Malaika Park in Second Life” before I visited it myself.

Malaika Park is a full region owned by Leroy Voorhees and home for a few people. According to Inara Pey Malaika Park was created by Leroy Voorhees along with Gabriel2009, Wayne (waynenz), Sangi Phaeton and JJ Goodman. The groud level is publically accessible and looks like a Mediterrean town.

Malaika Park – overview

The landing is at the court of this little town, right next to a bar and to the quite large yacht harbour. The relation between the large yacht harbour and the town itself reminded me a bit of St. Tropez in France, in particular as Malaika Park is full of art pieces.

Malaika Park: Heart hands by reycharles and Senza vestito by Mistero Hifeng (left) / Snacks and bar (right)

I walked from the court along the the pier to the snack bar and saw the “Heart hands” created by reycharles, who’s gallery I visited in March (read Simploring 2019 (28) Rey’s Gallery) and one of several sculptures created by Mistero Hifeng that are spread at Malaika Park.

Malaika Park: court (upper left) / Merfolk Maiden by Lucas Lameth (lower left) / Blue and White no. 3 by Jake Vordun (upper right) / La…chiamano realta’ by Mistero Hifeng (lower right)

Close to the court is another large sculpture by Mistero Hifeng, La…chiamano realta’, and a modern sculpture by Jake Vordun (Blue and White no. 3). I visited the cafe and walked to its roof, where you have a nice view over the harbour. On the roof ou find 2 more sculpture from Jake Vordun (Diana and Actaeon). At the time of my visit a big cruise ship laid along the other pier. It reminded me of the current debate about cruise ships in Venice as this one clearly dominates the view on Malaika Park. I assume it is just temporary. The cruise ship is part of SL Pride and use as a big party ship.

Malaika Park: cafe with sculptures Diana and Actaeon by Jake Vordun (left) / SL Pride cruise ship (right)

At the end smaller pier is another scupture of Jake Vordun (Red No.1) and I came across a guitar player from Cica Ghost and I saw two sculptures form Lucas Lameth (Merfolk Maiden and Merfolk Guard). All the art is placed with care and the pieces do fit to their location. The art can fully develop this way and it is a pleasure to see and enjoy it.

Malaika Park: Merfolk Guard by Lucas Lameth (upper left) / paddle boats (lower left) / Boy with guitar anim. by Cica Ghost (upper right) / Red No. 1 by Jake Vordun (lower right)

I continued my exploring tour of Malaika Park and saw many more sculptures. I saw La vita…imparare vorra’ and Dentro corpi liberi from Mistero Hifeng. The later is unusal colourful for Mistero and a nice transition to Cica Chost’s “man 5” who holds a balloon and her matchstick animation “Cica’s Little Boat”.

Malaika Park: La vita…imparare vorra’ by Mistero Hifeng (upper left) / Dentro corpi liberi by Mistero Hifeng (upper right) / man 5 and Little Boat by Cica Ghost (lower pictures)

The colourful town houses are not furnished, but on the other side of Malaika Park you find (surprise *winks*) more art like another modern sculpture from Jake Vordun (Fancy Decor: Grantaire Sculpture). There are two residential home on this sime of Malaika Park, one is on the plateau of a rock overlooking the town and Gabriel2009 has his atelier here. It’s worth a look at it.

I ended my exploring tour visiting the pool and the games area.

Malaika Park: Gabriel2009’s Atelier (left pictures) / pool (upper right) and games area (lower right)

As far as I understood, Malaika Park is constantly changing a little bit. I assume that art is added here and there or that room is made for events like the cruise ship that was there during my visit. I really enjoyed how the pieces of art are placed at Malaika Park. This alone is worth a visit. Thank you Leroy Voorhees and all others involved from creating this sim and for sharing it with the public.

Diary 2019 (91) June 24th Diomita with subs and dolls

Monday, June 24th, Mistress Jenny and I met in the afternoon only shortly. We went to club Domme a Domme where we caught up with our news and had soome fun looking around in the club. It was just a short but valuable time together.

June 24th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme / Diomita with Angelique at home

At night Mistress Jenny was prevented from coming inworld. Angelique was back from her one week break and we cuddled in a lounger opposed to our house and she told me about her time and I told ehr what happened inworld during her week off. We went to Mesmerize Dungeon and I summoned slave Emmi to us. Emmi was still dressed casual from the weekend and I changed her while we were at Mesmerize Dungeon.

June 24th: Diomita and Angelique with slave Emmi at Mesmerize Dungeon / Diomita and Angelique with slave Emmie and Jenny (JennieAnneJo) at home

We went back home and I picked up Jenny (JennieAnneJo) there. Mistress Jenny met Jenny at Puerto Esclava a few days ago. She’s a young and willing sub and might stay a bit closer. We will see about that. Angelique had to go to bed and I took Emmi and Jenny to Heavy Bondage Club.

There slave Pam (Pamela Emmons) saw and joined us. I couldn’t resist to lock her cuffs and Pam began to change into an outfit quite similar to slave Emmi’s. The two look really nice next to each other, don’t they?

June 24th: slave Emmi and slave Pam / Diomita with slave Emmi, slave Pam and Christin at Heavy Bondage Club (lower right) / Diomita with Christin (ChristinVega), slave Pam, slave Emmi and Jenny (JennieAnneJo) at home

And Christin (ChristinVega), who attended our Friday night party and was visiting us at home before several times did join us at Heavy Bondage Club too. Our group attracted quite some attention *winks*. I set different timers (or none at all) and took the subs and slaves home when it was time for bed. I had a busy night – time flew by quickly!

Diary 2019 (90) June 22nd/23rd A quiet weekend

Mistress Jenny and I had an enjoyable Saturday night, June 22nd. We took our victim slave sadi on a tour through the clubs, Domme a Domme, Lochme, Puerto Esclava and Psi’s realm. At club Domme a Domme, Mistress ordered slave sadi to face the room and as she didn’t follow her order Mistress Jenny ordered me to lock her down in a hogtie and to stop communicating with the slave.

Mistress Jenny and I enjoyed being together, we perved profiles and caught up with our mutual news about RL and SL. I told Mistress that I updated our family&friends page of the blog and removed slave Gwen (gwenney). It were exactly 5 months that we have heard the last time of slave Gwen and Mistress had demanded already that I remove her.

June 22nd – a tour thorugh the clubs: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme, Lochme, Puerto Esclava and Psi’s realm with slave sadi and at club DeLust

I got some information regarding our victim slave sadi and asked Mistress Jenny to keep her in tight bondage for a while. But Mistress decided that I should leave her locked with her keys available at Psi’s realm, thus passing her on to another owner who might pick up the slave. We left slave sadi at Psi’s realm and visited club Delust where we ended our club tour this night. Back at home Mistress and I enjoyed each other.

June 23rd: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a domme, at Dangerous, a Place for women and at club DeLust

Sunday afternoon, June 23rd, Mistress and I spent some time at club Domme a Domme and at club DeLust. Inbetween Mistress took me to Dangerous, a Place for Women. We had sex in a more or less public place, something we havent had for a while. But once I am excited I blind out the surrounding anyway. Sunday night, Mistress Jenny was prevented from coming inworld and I had some quiet and relaxed time all for myself.

Simploring 2019 (75) North Brother Island

On June 29th Serene Footman and Jade Koltai opened their newest sim, North Brother Island, “the last unknown place in New York City…
Serene and Jade’s passion is to make forgotten or weired places known to a broader public and in particular to make them accessible, so that you can expierence them, so that you can immerse yourself in these places and in their history.

North Brother Island is located in the East River between Bronx and Rikers Island (a prison island). North Brother Island has an area of about 13 acres. It was not inhabited until 1885. It then was used for isolating small pox and typhiod patients. After World War II, the buildings of the isolation clinic at North Brother Island were used for young drug addicts until the facilities were closed in 1963. Since then the island is uninhabited again, the nature is taking it back and the buildings rot.

some historic pictures of North Brother Island

Before visiting I strongly recommend reading Serene’s blogpost about North Brother Island. It contains a lot of information along with pictures, maps, videos and links.

I heard about North Brother Island before and I already read quite a lot about it. North Brother Island is also the place of the biggest ship disaster in American history. On June 15, 1904, the PS General Slocum, a sidewheel passenger steamboat, caught fire and sank in the East River of New York City at the shore of North Brother Island causing the death of more tham 1,000 people, most of them children with German roots. The ship had been chartered by St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Little Germany district of Manhattan. Read more about this disaster at Wikipedia.

North Brother Island in Second Life – overview and first impressions

Back to North Brother Island itself. Serene and Jade reconstructed some of the major buildings of the clinic and the big rusted crane at the pier. Although it is dangerous to visit the island and enter the rotten buildings in reality, in Second Life you’re safe. Some of the left overs, that are shown in the pictures in Serene’s blogpost, like the chair with the many books on the floor around it, can also be seen in Second Life. But Serene also made use of the artistic freedom and added some other oddities, like a vase with flowers in one window.

Impressions of North Brother Island in Second Life (1)

The main experience is to walk through the dense vegetation and to come across a large building all of a sudden. It’s hard to take a picture of whole buildings due to the vegetation and I assume that is quite like it is in reality. You can see how the nature took back the place. North Brother Island is also a bird sanctury nowadays.

Impressions of North Brother Island in Second Life (2)

There are also some spots to sit and watch. That’s perfect for taking in the whole atmosphere, for thinking about the dramas that happened here. The buildings could tell a lot of stories, like the one of Mary Mallon, or “Typhoid Mary” (1869-1938). Serene wrote about her in his blogpost.

Impressions of North Brother Island in Second Life (3)

I did not only go into every building, I also walked around the island on the shore side and discovered some more spots to sit and watch the birds. In RL you would see the skyline of NY City very close from the shore and this certainly adds to the oddity of this island. My main source of information about North Brother Island is a German blog about New York history and I’ll add the link here. Even if you don’t understand German, there’re a lot more historical pictures of it. In this post you find more links, one leads to a collection of pictures of North Brother Island taken in 2011.

Impressions of North Brother Island in Second Life (4)

Thank you Serene and Jade for another great place to discover and to learn about. My visit inspired me to restart my own research of New York history.

Diary 2019 (89) June 20th/21st Midsummer

Mistress Jenny and I met in the afternoon again on Thursday, June 20th. We went to Heavy Bondage Club and enjoyed togetherness, perved profiles and got some eye candy. A woman dressed in a black catsuit attracted my attention. Her profile had just one sentence “Sometimes the reward is worth the risk. Other times, the cost is far too high.” .. What a wise quote!
I talked with Mistress about it and we checked her groups. All were about domme breaking .. but was this one the domme breaker or the one to be broken? Mistress and I checked some groups and it was quite obvious at which side of the leash she belonged.

June 20th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club / Mistress Jenny and Diomita at our Stonehaven patio with the catch of the day

I went over to her and locked her collar. I didn’t ask nor did I hesitate and I locked her in a hogtie, then Mistress said hello to our victim who was obviously surprised. We took her home and had out fun explaining to her what nightmare she’s expecting. She talked back, craked jokes, but that didn’t help her at all. She clearly missed being respectful. Obviously she craves for the hard way. She can get that. We stored her in one of our cells for later use.
Then Mistress and I retreated to our skybox and I was allowed to lick Mistress and to satisfy my growing addiction to her. It was quite an entertaining afternoon with a bit of everything.

June 20th: Mistress Jenny, slave Emmi and Diomita at Puerto Esclava / Mistress Jenny, Diomita, slave Emmi, Sara (Sare Piers) and Eryn Zuta at Psi’s realm

At night we went to Puerto Esclava with slave Emmi first and then visited Psi’s realm. Sara (Sare Piers), the one we call BC (Baroness Capelo)’s sister was there and Eryn (Eryn Zuta), who I saw several times before at Psi’s. We chatted and Eryn was so impressed by slave Emmi’s outfit that she changed into the hobble dress herself. I couldn’t refrain from locking Eryn until she knelt face to face with Emmi. We spent an enjoyable hour at Psi’s realm.

June 20th: Mistress Jenny, Diomita, slave Emmi and Eryn Zuta at Psi’s realm / Mistress Jenny fucking slave Emmi while Diomita watches with slave sadie

We went home and I took our victim, let us call her slave sadi, out of her cell to our office. slave sadie could watch together with me how Mistress took advantage of slave Emmi at our desk. What else? Our house is terrible dirty. With slave Flo on vacation, Angelique busy in her RL and slave slut cecy not present as well ….what a dirt!

Friday, June 21st, we had our regular party at night. Fitting to the date the theme was midsummer night. It was full, just how we like it. At one time our sim was full (YAY). Sarah and vero were present, illa and Jopy, Claven and BC, Emmi and our victim slave sadi, Starry, Della and her prison gang. A great party once again!

June 21st: Friday night party “Midsummer”

Simploring 2019 (74) Summer Edge

Following Inara Pey’s blog post “A Summer Edge in Second Life” I visited Summer Edge Thursday, June 20th.

Summer Edge is a moderate homestead, owned and designed by Funky Banana (funkybananas), who also created Wild Edge, a sim which I visited in December 2018 (Simploring 2018 (110) Wild Edge). The landmark description is short but to the point: “A remote island with no inhabitants, perfect for an escape from everyday life. Beaches, cliffs and fields”

Summer Edge – bird’s eye view

The landing point on Summer Edge is at the end of a wooden pier from where you can either access the nearby beach or walk up to the green high plateau of the island. On the high plateau are some paths and at the cliffs you’ll find several wooden deckings form which you have a nice view over the sea.

Summer Edge bird’s eye views and at the landing point

The only building on Summer Edge is an old abandoned lighthouse. Of course I walked up to the top of it to enjoy the vew from up there.

Impressions of Summer Edge (1)

Summer Edge has no inhabitants yet the paths, the fences, some small wracks, the wooden pier and the deckings witness that the island is at least visited by humans. It could be part of a preserve area. The only animals you see on Summer Edge are birds, they seem to have their breeding area here.

Impressions of Summer Edge (2)

There’s not really much to see on Summer Edge but it is a prefect retreat, a place to wind down, to chat with your loved one. At the base of the lighthouse you find posing balls to take a particular picture. At the beach and on the decking you find numerous opportunities to sit and cuddle. It’s just an enjoyable peaceful island and as such it is outstanding.

Impressions of Summer Edge (3)

Thank you Funky for providing your sim to the public. During my visit Summer Edge was quite crowded but it is large enough, everyone found a cosy and peaceful corner. I enjoyed my visit a lot.

Diary 2018 (88) June 17th-19th A vacation within Second Life

Monday, June 17th, Mistress Jenny and I spent our time in the afternoon at Heavy Bondage Club talking to each other and perving profiles. We went back to our skybox afterwards and enjoyed some intimate time.

At night we went to Puerto Esclava. I summoned slave Emmi and changed her outfit. slave Emmi wrote a few fantasy stories and she had shared them with is a couple of days before. While we stood and modeled, while we read profiles and enjoyed the eye candy at Puerto Esclava, we talked with Emmi about her stories and thus also about her kinks and Mistress Jenny had the opportunity for a first longer chat with slave Emmi.

June 17th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club and at Puerto Esclava with slave Emmi

We also had a longer conversation in private chat with someone else to prepare what Mistress Jenny and I call a vacation within Second Life. We might get it very soon. And last but not least Mistress had a longer chat with another Jenny who might show up at our party next Friday. To sum it up, Mistress and I had a nice and relaxing night.

Tuesday, June 18th and Wednesday, June 19th, Mistress and I met in the afternoon to catch up and spend some time together standing around at club Domme a Domme and at Heavy Bondage Club. We spent Tuesday night somewhere else starting the above mentioned vacation within Second Life. I won’t reveal what we did and with whom .. I might write about it some other time.

June 18th/19th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme and at Heavy Bondage Club

Wednesday night we couldn’t continue our vacation. I summoned slave Emmi to us and put her into a hobble dress and armbinder. Mistress supervised me when I tied up Emmi and when she was satisfied with the result we took slave Emmi with us to Mesmerize Dungeon firstly to decorate us her and secondly to expose her. We had some fun there chatting amoung us and getting a few comments about our decoration.

Diary 2019 (87) June 13th – 16th Mistress Jenny’s back home

Thursday, June 13th, Jenny returned from her vacation and we met in the afternoon. We stood around at Heavy Bondage Club while we caught up with our news. It’s great to have Jenny back, it makes me feel complete again.

June 13th – Jenny is back home: Jenny and Diomita at home and at Heavy Bondage Club

At night Flo and Angelique were present and we played a round of skipee as teams. It had been a while that we played the last time and we all enjoyed to relax playing cards together. Angelique and I won against Jenny and slave Flo. After the game, that lasted on hour, Angelique went to bed and we wanted to visit a club. Jenny seems to be quite recovered. She found Flo being underdressed. I put slave Flo in the RF sub suit before we went to Mesmerize Dungeon. Soon after we got there I summoned slave Emmi over to us and as she was “underdressed” as well, I selected an armbinder for her.

June 13th – Jenny is back home: Jenny and Diomita with slave Flo and Emmi at Mesmerize Dungeon and at home

After we returned home and after Flo went to bed, Jenny and I rereated to our skybox for some togetherness (no pictures this time). Jenny exchanged my partnering collar with the sub collar before we logged off. Thank you, Mistress Jenny and welcome back home.

Friday, June 14th, I met with Mistress in the early afternoon and we had some time for each other again. Before I had to log off Mistress made me wear a humiliating pink outfit and she added the RR elegance collar. She restricted me from taking off the pink outfit. It’s not that easy for me but she made it crystal clear that I’m fully under her control if she decides for it.

I was offline Friday night and Saturday due to RL and returned Sunday afternoon, June 16th. Mistress took me to Dangerous, a Place for Women where we caught up with our mutal news. I was still wearing the pink outfit and immediately felt her control. Mistress reported that she saw a new latex dress and that she got it for herself. After we had finished exchaning news, she took me to the store and she bought the latex dress for me as well. Thank you, Mistress! This was we can go out in a matching outfit some time soon.

June 14th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home (upper left and middle) – June 16th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Dangerous, a Place for Women (lower left) / and at home in our new matching latex dresses (Right)

And that’s it for this diary entry. Mistress was not around Sunday night and I just spent some time roaming before I went to bed.

Simploring 2019 (73) Cubes by Cica Ghost

Cica Ghost’s last installation “Luna Park” was opened June 15th. I’m glad that I saw it (read Simploring 2019 (72) Luna Park by Cica Ghost) because already yesterday on Monday, June 24th, I got an invitation for “Cubes“, her newest Installation, which was built on the same sim, hence Luna Park has to be removed.

Cica told me that visitor numbers at Luna Park were no satisfying. One reason might have been the SLB16 event, but who knows? Anyway, Cica decided to tear down Luna Park and to make room for something new and when the sim was empty she began to play a bit around with cubes .. for fun. But then she was so content with the result that she decided to share her little experiment.

Cubes by Cica Ghost

Cubes is installed on an empty island. The ground is dry like in a desert and in the corners of the island is one single tree each, more the skeleton of a tree without any leaves. The landing is next to one of these trees and you hear already a strange sound caused by falling blocks made of solid concret. The cubes fall like hail out of a dark sky, they fall randomly, they roll around until all of the engery from the fall is comsumed. They build towers sometimes, their movements are unpredicatable.

Cubes by Cica Ghost – bird’s eye view

The cubes are physcial objects. Therefore you can bit hit by them (luckily in Second life, you’ll survive it when you’re hit). I walked a little bit around, tried to climb up the blocks but I fall down again when the block vanished to make room for new falling blocks. There’re two different sizes of blocks.

As always you’ll have to interpret Cica Chost’s art yourself and everybody does see different things. The quote Cica Ghost gives away with “Cubes” is from Erno Rubik: “The Cube is an imitation of life itself – or even an improvement on life.”

exploring Cubes by Cica Ghost

I can see that Cica had fun experimenting with randomly falling objects. I asked her where she placed her cat because there’s none this time. She didn’t answer my question but I can answer it myself: it is too dangerous for Cica’s cats at “Cubes

Diomita meets Cica Ghost – I tried another brighter windlight setting to get a different impression of “Cubes”

I don’t know how long you might be able to see Cica’s Cubes, even Cica can’t tell and will decide that spontaneously. So hurry up to see it. Thank you Cica for sharing your experiment.

Backflash June 2019 – Rona, Maurer’s Künstlerin (June 26th, 2014)

In the “Backflash” series I select an old entry once a month and present it here. This way I force myself to browse in the archive and to fresh up a few of the many memories. For our readers the new series shall provide an insight into our Second Life without reading back the many posts and it might also give reason to browse through the archives.

For June 2019 I picked a post that I published 5 years ago on June 26th, 2014. The post was published on the occasion of Rona’s collaring and titled “Rona – Maurer’s Künstlerin”. Künsterlin is the German word for a female artist.

Rona (ronapotter)

Rona (ronapotter) is a friend of us for quite a while now. We know her from The Secret House, one of our favourite clubs to hang around. Rona stands out because of her way to dress and because of her make up. Her avatar is always an eye candy and expresses herself very well. When we met Rona first, she was together with xxxxxx, a lovely mature French woman. Later she was together with Corinna (corafeeling), who had an appearance in this blog as a maid. Rona has a passion and that is taking pictures in SL and process them in an artful way so that they look like paintings mostly, or she creates fantasies in pictures. She also created pictures for Jenny and me which you find in earlier posts here. And as I follow Rona’s art at deviantart (dA) I often called her my “art connection”.

“Raven” by Ronapotter (created during her trial June 2014)

But there’s not only Rona, the artist. Rona is also a very loveable and passionate submissive who knows both sides of the leash. She loves bondage, latex, encasement, restrictions, isolation and the whole range of bdsm activities. No surprise that we talked about this side of her too. When Rona plays, she shows the same passion as for her art. She’s diving fully into her SL and forgets the world outside. And when she’s excited she looses all control wanting more and more. Rona passed a traditional trial, naked and tied in a cell that we placed on the terrace of our new house at home. As opposed to other trials we had before, we didn’t keep her there all the time, but took her out for our Friday night dances as well as for visits to The Secret House. We learned more about her and she learned more about us. But her passion to pass the trial, her eagerness to become ours, to become part of the Eurobrats was clearly tangible every day during her trial.
Rona is from the US, thus our 3rd brat not living in Europe but she manages to be around when we’re around, so we all don’t mind in this really global world of SL. With her passion for art and beauty, with her difference and her passionate and emotional way of play, Rona fits well to us.

Diomita and Rona

Today we collared Rona as Maurer’s Künstlerin. Welcome to the family, Rona. We love you!

Rona’s collaring June 26th, 2014

June 26th, 2014

We don’t know what happened with Rona. The last contact with her was in December 2014, when she annouced to be offline for the holidays. Her account seems to be deactivated, her page on deviantart (dA) was not updated ever since. We had a good time with Rona and thinking back to her collaring day still makes me smile. Her pictures do accompany us to this very day.
