Simploring 2021 (11) The Redwoods

For my simploring tour on Monday, February 15th, I picked “The Redwoods” from scoop.it SL Destinations. I wanted to go out into the nature and this sim seemed to be perfect for it. In addition I have been to California’s Sequoia National Park back in 1992 (gosh, time flies by too fast!) – so it was about time to refresh memories. And in Second Life we can travel, easily and quickly without any test or restrictions.

The Redwoods – bird’s eye view and orientation map / at the landing point

The entry on scoop.it SL Destinations led to a plogpost from Inara Pey “Exploring the redwoods of Second Life“, which I read before visiting myself.

The Redwoods is built on a platform in 4.000m height above mainland. It is a place rate moderate. The Redwoods are owned and designed by Julia Dagger (JuliaTrouble). The landmark description fits to what you can do at The Redwoods: “And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul” (John Muir).

As seen in the bird’s eye view the platform is surrounded by high rocks. From inside it looks ver natural, the light coming just from above or through small gaps in the rocks. Right a the landing point is an orientation map “Cha Redwoods National Park” just as you would see it in any National park in the United States. I stayed on the trails – mostly. From the landing point just one path leads into the forest, the path slits into two paths after a few meters, one path leads to the park lodge, the other to the lake. I went to the park lodge first.

Impressions of The Redwoods (1) – starting my simploring tour

The Redwoods is well made. You have the feeling of being in a forest. Don’t forget to turn on your sound, you can hear the sound of the river, very calming.

Impressions of The Redwoods (2) – the park lodge

The park lodge itself is worth a visit. Inside is a counter with information flyers and postcards and a nice seating opportunity. I walked upstairs and found a bar there where I sat down to recover from the first walk. The best place tough is on the terrace of the park lodge. Relax by the fire and watch other people hiking, listen to the sound of the river and let your mind wander.

Close to the park lodge is another building, which is not as easily accessible as the park lodge. I named it “Romantic lodge” Outside it offers a seating like on the terrace of the park lodge, on its porch you can sit and have a glass of wine. And inside is a table layed for a dinner for two and a cosy bed. Together with the illumination this lodge looks like a place to stay.

Impressions of The Redwoods (3) – the romantic lodge

I went to the lake next. It is another nice location for taking pictures. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Walking along the shore you get to a big campfire place where i had my next short break. And itf you walk further you get to anotehr smaller campfire place and to a hut for hikers, where you can just stay overnight.

Impressions of The Redwoods (4) – views along my way

Inara wrote in her post about a hidden place, another bar. And of course I wanted to see that too. I walked back to the park lodge and further on the trail. The trail ends at a huge sequonia tree. Right next to it is a sofa and a lounger. Another place to sit and enjoy. From here you can see a waterfall. You should walk close to the waterfall …. and might find what Inara wrote about (I found it *winks*)

Impressions of The Redwoods (5) – the waterfall and more opportunities for a rest

The Redwoods is a lovely place to wind down admist an impressive nature with many places to sit and enjoy. I had fun exploring. Thank you Julia Dagger (JuliaTrouble) for creating The Redwoods and for sharing it publicly.

Diary 2021 (24) February 17th/18th Titilliations

On Wednesday, February 17th, my time wearing the partnering collar was scheduled to end. With her present on the occasion of my 13th rezzday Jenny had allowed me to wear the partnering collar for one week – until we would meet on February 17th at night. I would have 3 options… firstly to ask Jenny for more time in the partnering collar, secondly to ask for my sub collar and thirdly to ask for my slave collar. There were good reasons for all three options *sighs*.

But first I had to make the most of the time left over Wednesday afternoon. So far I hadn’t exposed Jenny as my property nor had I taken a green light, as this one week was supposed to be something particular, something out of every routine. For ths reason I didn’t address Jenny with Mistress that week – it felt strange first but after a while I got used to it and it made me feel closer and on eye level with Jenny.
I asked Jenny to wear her moyet corset with the breast bondage, her cuffs and a gag. We went to club Domme a Domme where I exposed her to the public kneeling at my feet. I got a few praises and I enjoyed. Unfortunately I got interrupted by RL inbetween.
With enough time left over for that afternoon, we returned to our loft skybox. We stripped and went to bed enjoying each other.

February 17th: Diomita and Jenny at club Domme a Domme and at our loft skybox

We I returned at night Jenny, Mistress Jenny, was waiting for me and we sat down in our old lounger, which accompanies us for almost all of our Second Life. I had decided to ask for the sub collar, at least for a few days to get used to my role again. And Mistress did accept my pledge. She even granted a short green light very soon – hence I will wear the sub collar for a couple of days.
To be honest it feels right as well as it feels right to address Mistress Jenny properly again.

We dressed and went home to play a skipee with Flo, that went quicker than we all thought as I got a strange series of jokers all of a sudden. After the game I presented the painting that Ambre Singh had sent to me – with me in a prominent place. The painting is part of the announcemnt of Ambre Singh’s exhibtion “Titilliations” at Noir’Wen City,, that is shown there in March. The original painting is “Women of Amphysia” by Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema.

February 17th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at our loft skybox and in front of Ambre Singh’s painting at home (can you recognize me??)

Mistress Jenny and I spent the night with Flo at Carnal Intentions and at Psi’s realm. We chatted, look at profiles and I easily got back into my place as Mistress’ property. At Psi’s we had some entertaining main chat, it was quite full.

February 17th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with Flo at Carnal Intentions and Psi’s realm

We went to bed shortly after flotime, as Mistress had an early start the next day

Thursday, February 18th, Mistress wasn’t present during the day. I was inworld myself quite a lot, but often was idling or just hopping over places. Nothing worth to be mentioned here happened. I visited Ambre Singh’s new exhibition at Noir’Wen City called “Titilliations” shortly in the later afternoon.

At night Mistress, Flo and I played a skipee together and Flo went to bed afterwards as she was tired. Mistress and I went to Carnal Intentions and enjoyed looking at the crowd, talking and reading profiles. Faye (Boy Serenity) was there and joined us. Spontaneouly I asked Mistress and Faye to wear something topless and took them over to see “Titilliations” together with me.

With the title “Titilliations” and the picture I got from Ambre it almost needless to say that the visitors are kindly asked to be topless for the visit. At the entrance you can deposit your bra if you forgot to take it off at home.

February 18th: “Titilliations” by Ambre Singh – exhibition poster

Ambre Singh wrote about “Titilliations” and the exhibition poster: “Gabrielle d’Estrées and one of her sisters is a painting by an unknown author of the Fontainebleau School, painted around 1594. This oil on oak panel is kept in the Louvre museum. The woman on the left side, supposedly Julienne d’Estrées, Duchess of Villars, is pinching the red-lined breast of her sister Gabrielle d’Estrées.
After intense research in the archives of the dusty cellars of the Louvre, it was discovered that Gabrielle d’Estrées’ nipple attracted lust, and that many members of the court had had the privilege of playing with it.
In a world premiere, here is the complete collection of the works of the School of Fontainebleau, illustrating the privileged who had access to the noble nipple, but also revealing the fantasies that the said privileged had about the assets of the royal mistress.

Visiting the exhibition was pure fun. Ambre made funny scenes with many artist friends. I know some of them. My pictures might give you an idea of them, but you have to visit yourself and read and laugh *winks*

February 18th: Mistress Jenny, Diomita and Faye visiting “Titilliations” by Ambre Singh

Ambre provided some extra fun – you can make your own “Titilliations” – picture. And Mistress and I did that. Thank you Ambre!

February 18th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at “Titilliations” by Ambre Singh

After that visit we returned to Carnal Intentions shortly. We didn’t stay long though as Mistress had again an early start the next day. We had a fun night!

Art in Second Life 2021 (22) Stars by Cica Ghost

On March 4th, Cica opened her newest installation named “Stars“. I went there spontaneously at the opening day and besides Cica herself I met Inara Pey and Maddy Gynoid. I think we have all covered Cica Ghost’s installations in our blogs over the last year. Inara and Maddy have both already published their reports about “Stars by Cica Ghost” (see here and here). I added the links to their posts under this post. Maddy wrote that it is Cica’s 70th installation, yet it is her 55th installation as she told me herself. Nonetheless, an almost incredible number of installation, proving Cica’s almost endless creativity. Congratulations Cica! I must have missed out quite some, in particular the earlier installations.

It is important that you use the shared environment to see “Stars by Cica Ghost” the way Cica has it planned. I use the Firestorm viewer and the setting is on the top menu under “World” -> “Environment”. With this setting you will see a dark, brown sky covered with yellow stars. Hence the quote that Cica provides with her installation “When it is dark enough, you can see the stars“.

Stars by Cica Ghost – Overview / at the landing

I zoomed out and made a bird’s eye view first to see the structure. The landing is quite in the center of the sim. “Stars” is difficult to categorize. It is a town with 6 main courts, all of them are connected by a road. The whole sim is held in brown colours, the air is dusty. The houses are build in Cica’s style, some of them are accessible. It is a steampunk like setting. You see lots of gear-wheels and other metal objects and of course humans are comparably small as usual in Cica’s worlds.

Stars by Cica Ghost – Impressions (1)

All beings are made of metal, yet you can still identify them easily as Cica’s creations. You find snakes, snails, birds, seahorses, fish and other beings. And there is a lot to do at Stars. You can enter the houses and sit down in the huge chairs, you can hop on a large car that takes you on a tour around “Stars“, you can sit on a swingboat, you can visit a room full with keys and gear wheels.

Stars by Cica Ghost – Impressions (2)

You can watch a band play or watch a puppet theatre. You can dance on several courts, you can watch Cica’s robots which move on one wheel, or you simply listen to the music which is fitting to the setting steampunk and from the early 20th century.

Stars by Cica Ghost – Impressions (3)

Don’t miss to look on the roofs as there are more Cica beings like the one in the poster. You can easily spent a lot of time exploring “Stars” and you will for sure discover even more than I did as I had only about one hour for my visit.
What I missed was a cat, be it a steampunk metal cat or one of Cica’s cats. It looks to me that Cica has forgotten to rezz one. What I also missed was Cica’s matchstick man riding a bicycle, but it is there, I just didn’t see it (it is in Inara’s and Maddy’s posts though)

Stars by Cica Ghost – Impressions (4)

Cica’s shop, where you can buy the robots, is a bit aside and can be reached by walking over a bridge.
Stars by Cica Ghost is another excellent fantasy world that made me smile like all of Cica’s installations. It is like a short trip into another peaceful world, I simply enjoyed it. Thank you, Cica.

Art in Second Life 2021 (21) CELLS by Moki Yuitza at simquarterly

Scrolling through scoop.it SL Destination on Sunday, February 14th, I came across “CELLS by Moki Yuitza“. The entry led to an article on “The sim quarterly”-blog: “Welcome to CELLS by Moki Yuitza“, in which Electric Monday gives some insight into the current installation at simquarterly – CELLS by Moki Yuitza.

I will first quote a lot from this blogpost and from a notecard I got in the welcome area at simquarterly as it is written well and contains a lot of useful and important information to fully enjoy this excellent artwork:

Suppose we can look inside the brain of an Artificial Intelligence, and above all see how it works, how its parts work. What would we see? In a digital world where everything is possible, who knows. Maybe this is what we would be able to see: Cells.
Upon arriving at The Sim Quarterly welcome area, the bot welcomes visitors via an IM with information about the installation, the artist, and settings to help with graphics for viewing CELLS. Next to her is a cone that dispenses information about a game Moki has put together for you while you explore CELLS.
To exit the landing area and enter the installation, just click the glowing center of the portal and arrive at the main part of CELLS!

Impressions of CELLS by Moki Yuitza (1) – The welcome ares / entering the installation

After the short trip to the ground, you will see before you an illuminated path leading you to the center of CELLS – along the way, don’t forget to locate the cones. Moki has created and hidden some lights that will change you, others around you, and most importantly the exhibit as you wander with this attached light. Each level has one hidden light for you to find. Look for a white cone like the one next to The Sim Quarterly avatar in the welcome area. There are 5 cones on each level, but only one of the cones has the prize in it!
Each light is different. Wear one alone or add with the other lights that you found on other levels, and the result will be different. On the last level, you’ll find the final light.

Impressions of CELLS by Moki Yuitza (2) – inside of the installation

I entered the portal and was brought to the ground. The structure is huge, really huge. It looks like a large highrise building, an illuminated path led me into it and to the central stairwell. Dont forget to explore the ground level as you find the first cone with a light on this level. climbing up the stairs you get great views. The whole building is packed with large spheres, some are solid, some are just grids, some are white, some are coloured. The floors are transparent, hence looking up and down offers even more views.

The ever changing lights, the moving spheres, the lights your wear, everything changes your experience. The pictures I made can’t be ever reproduced. They are stills taken from temporary virtual art. I was laways fascinated from the possibilities of light installations and Moki plays virtuously with light. The installation changes no only by the light you attach to yourself, but also by its own movement. You can fly, walk, and run. I enjoyed every second of my visit.

Impressions of CELLS by Moki Yuitza (3) – inside of the installation

The lights change how you look yourself. It is intriguing to see how a different colour seemingly changes who you are. The pictures I took of myself in different colours reminded me of Andy Warhol. I had fun.

Moki Yuitza is in Second Life for over 12 years. I came across her three times so far. One time in 2019 when she was participating in an exhibition at La Maison d’Aneli (read here), one time when I visited an installation of her at LEA 19 “Hypercube – labyrinth of the mind” in 2018 (read here) and just recently I saw her installation “Geomorphism” at DixMix Gallery (read here). Moki has had a lot more exhibtions and installation, that I missed. Her profile is full of installations of her that are gone in the meanwhile. The virtual world is even more short-lived than the physical world.

I found this about Moki from a notecard for La Maison d’Aneli: “In RL I am an architect and in this metaverse I found the possibility to realize my idea of space and my architectural fantasy, as well as to share it with other people.

Impressions of CELLS by Moki Yuitza (4) – coloured Diomita, pictures NOT taken by Andy Warhol *winks*

Simquarterly is a sim and initiative of Electric Monday:
Art and the virtual world, Second Life© are very similar — you are able to both find yourself and immerse yourself (and maybe even lose yourself) in something totally unlike what you already know. The experiences you gain help you grow and form new opinions about the world. That is what I hope this sim can provide over time. I am very excited to bring to you a quarterly art project by way of The Sim Quarterly.
The project features one creator every 3 months (every quarter) as an artist in residence. The purpose of the sim is so that residents can experience something new and even create a community.
Simquarterly has an own website.

Diary 2021 (23) February 15th/16th Diomita and Jenny – side by side

Monday, February 15th, I met with Jenny in the afternoon. Once again we leashed eachother at our collars and went seeking trouble. This time Jenny had to promise to me that she won’t set our cuffs into inescapable *winks*. We went to club Domme a Domme and to Puerto Esclava and of course nothing happened at all. I got a message that Faye had joined the Bondage Team and tries to prove that she’s able to escape out of RR gear within 6 hours: “Faye is taking the challenge to race against the clock and try to escape the Expert Ordeal. Come Cheer or make fun of her, or take notes for your own ordeal.” Attached to the group message was a picture of Faye. We intended to visit her. I’m a member of the Bondage team for many years but I never took the ordeal and I just follow it from the side line. I learned that in order to visit her I would have to change into the offical Bondage Team dress and wear my cuffs. As Jenny isn’t a group member and as she had to leave to RL we skipped a visit to Faye and just taked with her in IM to cheer her up.

February 15th: Faye doing her Bondage Team ordeal / Jenny and Diomita at Puerto Esclava and at club Domme a Domme

After Jenny had left to RL I visited Amber Singh. She had invited me to be a part of a classic painting that she is going to transfer in her oustanding way into SL. I visisted her on her photo studio platform and she took a few pictures of me. I’m curios about the result – and will report about it of course. After the photo session I had to leave into my RL as well.

At night we first had a game of skipee with Flo and then went to Carnal Intentions. We had a good crowd there, quite entertaining and time flew by. When Flo had left for be we moved on to club Domme a Domme and stayed there leashed to each other, looking for trouble. Guess what? Nothing happened. But we got some entatainment in main chat as another guest was telling her whole RL story publicly. We felt like therapists. Well, none of us could simply leave, we were leashed *winks*

February 15th: Jenny and Diomita at Carnal Intenions with Flo / leashed to each other at club Domme a Domme

Jenny tried her best to get us into trouble sending a private chat to a stranger:
Jenny: please help me, the mad woman nest to me leashed us both together and we are suck now
Stranger looks at you with skepticism noticing the names that match “Look like peas in a pod to me”
Jenny: Do you like Peas?
Stranger: Sometimes
We had entertainment and fun.

When I came inworld on Tuesday, February 16th, in the afternoon, Jenny was at Carnal Intentions with Faye at her feet. We spent more than an hour together, caught up with our mutual news and enjoyed Faye’s presence. I had a longer chat regarding this blog and that kept me a bit busy and absent. Anyway, it is alway nice to be close to Jenny and to friends. Hnce just one picture for this afternoon.

February 16th: Jenny and Diomita with Faye at Carnal Intentions

At night Jenny was running late. I had a skipee with Flo first and took her to Psi’s realm, Lochme and Carnal Intentions. Jenny joined us at Carnal Intentions. We just chatted and had fun. Ann came by and livened up the club. She was wearing a Harlekin outfit, very colourful!. After Flo had left, Jenny and I went to club Domme a Domme for a bit before we returned home.

February 16th: Diomita with Flo at Psi’s realm and at Carnal Intentions / Jenny and Diomita with Flo / Ann in her Harlekin outfit / Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme and at home

I’m still wearing my partnering collar and I had to make the most of having no rules nor restrictions. Hence before we went to bed, I had my wife licking me to an intense orgasm – life is good!

Art in Second Life 2021 (20) Scandal by Milena Carbone

I was invited to the opening of “Scandal”, Milena Carbone’s newest exhibition at The Carbone Gallery. I wasn’t able to attend the opening event on Wednesday, February 17th. Instead I visited a few days before the opening and I had the opportunity to talk with Milena.
Milena, being a story teller, combines several aspects in “Scandal”. There’s first the opening event. Milena has designed a choreography of a ballet, based on Philip Glass music and SL ballet and dance poses. She told me that she will dance herself. I can’t report about this event as I missed it.

Scandal is a series of 8 pictures about the character of Iselin, an Icelandic girl who becomes a Christ in the XXI century. It is Milena’s third story of a contemporary christ, after the Brazilian child in the exhibition Locked, and the mixed-race gay Mahdi in the exhibition Plead Guilty. This work will probably close her series of Christs.

The location of this exhibition is outstanding. Milena reproduced the Church of Light, designed by the famous architect Tadao Ando. The church will stay as a permanent part of the gallery, for exhibition, concerts, and prays. I never heard of this church before and hence visiting “Scandal” inspired me to do some reasearch on the internet about this church and it’s architect. I recommend to start with the wikipedia entries about the church of light and about Tadao Ando. Milena did a great job transferring the church into Second Life – and it is a great place for future exhibitions and other events. Chapeau!

The exhibition Scandal is related to the theory of social violence of René Girard, a french anthropologist. He wrote a book called “Woe to the man through whom scandal comes” where he showed how Jesus Christ unveiled the role of sacrifice, and how the innocents are sacrified. I also read about René Girard in wikipedia. Girard showed how conflicts in social groups are solved by the scapegoat mechanism.

Impressions of “Scandal by Milena Carbone” (1)

The 8 pictures are exhibited inside of the church of light. They relate to the story of the Icelandic girl Iselin, but they stand for themselves as well without the story. They deal with religion, with innocence and with a culminating act of violence. Milena has the plot of the story in her mind and will publish it most probably as another book, a small book that you can read within Second Life, in the course of March 21. It was not written yet at the time of my visit. I intend to visit Scandal again when the story is published.

Impressions of “Scandal by Milena Carbone” (2)

Milena Carbone (mylena1992) is a French artist and is in Second Life since mid 2019. She discovered its artistic potential and since then has devoted all her free time to creation, associating, as in real life, images and texts: “Milena Carbone is a fiction in which, as in any artistic work, biographical and imaginary elements are mixed.” Her creative process is iterative: some of her images inspire her stories and these stories modify the development of the image, which itself transforms the story.

On February 22nd Milena told me that she rearranged the exhibiton and included pictures of the opening concert and ballet to make it part of the exhibition and to save the impressions. The concert consisted of a series of 15 pieces composed by Philip Glass, gathered in 7 parts, each introduced by a libretto written by Milena Carbone.
The dancers of the ballet were Milena Carbone and Belice Benoir, Nieu (NieuwenHove) supported them with the technic. The now showcased pictures of the even were taken by Charlotte Belladona (charlottebelladonna) and .Crazy Dust. (zigboom) and can also be seen at their flickr pages here and here.

Impressions of the opening event of “Scandal” by Milena Carbone

Thank you for another great exhibition, Milena. Scandal inspired me to quite some research and hence was educational for me – and it impressed me.

Diary 2021 (22) February 13th/14th Selfbondage going wrong

Saturday afternoon I was inworld in the afternoon before Mistress. I sorted inventory and went checking two galleries. When Mistress came inworld I returned home and found her cleaning up our dance place from the Chinese New Year party the day before. We went to club Domme a Domme to catch up with our mutual news. Wearing my partnering collar I have all freedoms, I could have taken a green light. But then this time seemed too precious to me although the thought always comes up when I see my Mistress wife. I decided for something different – on one side to have fun myself, on the other side I know Jenny loves that. I made her wear her new corset with the breast bondage and her elegance wrist cuffs and the elegance collar. I myself changed into a corset and added the elegance collar to the wrist cuffs that I wore before already.

I locked Jenny’s collar and leashed her to me and asked her to do the same. I added the leash hoder to my neck and so did Jenny. This way we were leashed to each other, the keys of our wrist cuffs out – a perfect prey couple. I knew nothing would happen at all but we could enjoyed being exposed to potential troubles.
Jenny and I are different. I often wear my cuffs keeping the keys myself (they seemingly are out though). They are set so that if anyone clicks on them, I am asked to allow it – and I can decide if it is someone I want to play with. A perfect setting for me. Jenny likes playing harder with no security. At club Domme a Domme we had no luck, so we decided to move on. Jenny unleashed me so that I could travel to Dark Butterfly and could summon her to me. At Dark Butterfly she leashed me again. But then she changed the settings of her and my collar taking off the security channel to reach any menu and taking off self an other touch, leaving keys out of course *sighs*.
Jenny called an acquaintance named Allie to help us out. Allie came to Dark Butterfly, took the keys of our collars, unleashed us – crashed and didn’t return. We were stuck, unable to help each other, unable to help ourselves.

February 13th: Jenny and Diomita in self-inflicted troubles

In the meanwhile it was time for both of us to leave for dinner. We returned to our secret place and logged off.

When I returned Jenny was tied up and gagged, wearing a transparent catsuit. She had stayed inworld and Allie had taken control of her and had just left. I learned that Mistress didn’t know her but had called for help in a group for couple kidnapping, not knowing who would answer her call. Oh dear, she must have seeked trouble – she found trouble.

Our night was .. ehm … different. We stayed at our secret place, unable to teleport, unable to touch, unable to help each other. I just don’t understand why we could teleport to our place. Anyway, Allie didn’t show up again during the the next 4 hours. Jenny and I had plenty of time together. We chatted with Flo who was at home and we chatted with Faye. Jenny was sorry for getting us into this helplessness, I was sorry for reproaching her first. So we were even.
As I said – not much to report about that night. Finally our cleaning lady came. It was a bit embarrassing that she found us like this, but she helped us out.

February 13th: Jenny and Diomita helpless

Sunday, February 14th, we relaxed from our failed selfbondage experience. When we met in the afternoon, we went seeing Angelique first and added her to our cuffs, so that we could call her in an emergency next time. We spent some time at club Domme a Domme yet nothing was really going on. Hence we returned home and played a greedy before we had to return to our RL.

February 14th: Jenny and Diomita with Angelique at home and at club Domme a Domme

At night we met with Flo who was wearing another straight jacket and a neck corest – ready for me to lock it. I did lock her of course. Due to the magic of SL she could play cards nonetheless and we had on game of skipee. we went to Carnal Intentions and watched what was going on there (not much). We talked, had Faye with us shortly – and we releaxed.
After Flo had left we moved on to Dark Butterfly. It was full there and we saw new faces and read new profiles. I had Jenny by my feet – lovely. At mightnight I asked Jenny to return to our skybox and to strip – I would summon her. I went to our secret place, stripped myself and called for her. Then we spoiled eachother before it was time to go to bed.

Ferurary 14th: Jenny and Diomitw with Flo at Carnal Intentions, at Dark Butterfly and at our secret place

A real contrast to the night before!

Art in Second Life 2021 (19) Ant Farm Light Gallery by Regi Yifu featuring Bachi Cheng

I visited “Ant Farm Light Gallery” by Regi Yifu at SLEA Region 4 SE.
Ant Farm Light Gallery is a feast for the eyes. As you can see in the overview picture it consists of a long winded tube, almost looking like instestines. You enter it right at where you land and you will be overwhelmed by the colours and lights.

Like the skin of a snake the tubes consists of scales, often in a flamboyant pin, always coloured, and light dances over the scales, providing every changing effects. Once you got accustomed to the lights you enter deeper into the tube. At every curve is a picture that consists of several layers and is blurred, you can just guees what it shows. Once you cet closer the picture gets clear.

The pictures are from Bachi Cheng and show adult scenes, some quite explicit.

Walking in the tube isn’t easy as the colours are intriguing. I aslo bumped into something and was force teleported to another point several times. I do not know if that was intended or just a mulfunction of the experience setting. With all the impressions and the picutres exploring this exhibition is fun and I did enjoy it.

Regi Yifu says about herself: “I am a gregarious bohemian artist from Texas! Here to have fun and meet cool people from all over the world! Love building stuff, making dance effects, and DJing! I also melt glass in my kiln and love to cook. Only boring people get bored!
He’s in SL for more than 13 years, he makes customized gestures and contumized smoke, he has an own store inworld  and on the marketplace, he has a light gallery …. and he is a dj …. and loves to play with light!

Sofi (Bachi Cheng) is in Second Life almost 12 years. She’s, an artist painter and designer in RL and SL. Bachi writes about herself and her art: “I love to paint Moments. Moments of life, Moments of Love, Moments so deep that you never want to forget them, Moments at the edge of orgasm or despair, just life like we ought to live it, plainly. Let me take you in the core of my Art
Her art is quite feisty and exaggerated, transpiring her message clearly and not subtle, sometimes reminding of comic strips and clearly explicit.
Sofi (Bachi Cheng) has also her own gallery here.

I enjoyed my visit to Ant Farm Light Gallery. It was fun to walk through the tubes as well with all the effects as to see Bachi’s pictures. Thank you Regi and Sofi for this installation, thank you Tansee for all of your work getting SLEA on the start.
Ant Farm Light Gallery will be available for a visit until end of March 2021.

Diary 2021 (21) February 11th/12th My 13th rezzday inworld and the Chinese New Year

February 11th, was my 13th rezzday anniversary. How time flies! Mistress had a lovely rezzday present for me that I got the night before at midnight – she exchanged my slave collar with my partnering collar for one week. Hence my rezzday was the first day wearing this collar and having no rules to follow.
Mistress Jenny and I spent more than an hour together in the afternoon and visited club Domme a Domme and Puerto Esclava. And we were busy in a nice way. Firstly we had a loger chat with a domme who wanted to dominate us. We will see if anything develops from that. And secondly slave N (naahdia) showed up again. She almost desparately begged be enslaved again – Mistress and I promised to consider it.

At night we played a skipee with Flo first, the we went to Carnal Intentions. Mistress Jenny and Flo made sure that everybody noticed my rezzday and I got a lot of attention – not that I asked for it, but I enjoyed it. We moved on to Caged Elegance where Gravity (theriaeriker) had her party that night. Dancing is a good way to celebrate a rezzday. We had fun there and of course Mistress and Flo made sure once again that everybody knew about me secret rezzday *laughs*.

And after Flo had left, Mistress and I went to Runaround Sue’s Hop and dance there listening to oldies with my favourite German DJHarti. Guess what? , Mistress made sure that I got attention again and confetti.
A nice, relaxed rezzday, thank you Mistress! And thank you all family and friends.

We had a lovely afternoon on Friday, February 12th. Side by side and without any rules or restrictions, we visited Puerto Esclava, club Domme a Domme and Heavy Bondage Club. Faye joined us at Heavy Bondage Club. We talked and we drafted the theme for our Friday night party: “Today is Chinese New Year and it’s Friday. For our party wear you favourite Chinese dress, or as it is the year of the Ox you can come as anything cow related – or simply wear your clothes as you are that say made in China. DJ Virgo is spinning the tunes.”

We returned home after more than an hour and having no rules nor restrictions I asked Mistress to strip and to wear her cuff set – and she did. I took her to the annex of our skybox and fixed her on at bondage rack there. Then I teased her until she literally begged me to lick her to an orgasm – and I got my fix *winks*. Having no rules, I released Mistress again and we went back to main part of our skybox and I removed the cuffs. We both changed into something with an Asian look. Then Mistress asked me if I had some more time and I had. We went down to the dance floor and Mistress began to decorate it. She had bought a tea house, lights, lions on a podoest, a fountain and some plants. She decorated the dance floor for the next half hour until she was satisfied with the result. She did a great job!

Our party started slowly, Virgo ran a bit late. As we weren’t many Mistress even teleported her occasional plaything Genesis Chamberdoll (Fang Starlight) to us, yet Genesis was absent and stood there like a latex statue all night long. But later more and more guests came to party with us and we had fun. Baroness Capelo and Claven made sure that I finally got my rezzday spanks (my bum must still be red *winks*). Starbright Wingtips also got her rezzday spankes – she rezzed the very same day as I did. And Faye got a dance with Mistress Jenny. It was another great Friday night with Virgo having to strip in the end. And we celebrated long.

Backflash February 2021 – Dio’s 3rd year in Second Life Feb 11th 2011

In the “Backflash” series I select an old entry once a month and present it here. This way I force myself to browse in the archive and to fresh up a few of the many memories. For our readers the new series shall provide an insight into our Second Life without reading back the many posts and it might also give reason to browse through the archives.
For February 2021 it was quite obvious to select an anniversary blogpot. We travel 10 years back to 2011 and have a look at my Second Life at that time. And looking at the 2 pictures in the post – that was me??
It is always fun to read back and to remember, to realize the changes, and to smile!
Enjoy reading…

Dio’s 3rd year in Second Life Feb 11th 2011

My third year in Second Life ended today. Time to look back again and to have a look forward. The look back starts with reading the blog entry that I wrote one year ago. WOW. I can cut and paste some parts of that entry, particularly the sentences dealing with the base of my SL:

“- I am still owned by Goddess Yasmin Heartsdale
– I am still spoiled by the love and devotion of my partner and Ehesklavin Jenny
– I am still part of a lovely large family
– I am still running my own family branch
– I am still exploring SL and myself
– I am still happy to be here”

Usually when we think about a days’ events we come to the conclusion that we didn’t do what we intended to do and that nothing really happened. When we look back to a whole year we’re surprised to notice how much has changed or how much we achieved, discovered or expierenced. Same happens to me when I look back to my 3rd year in SL, the base is still the same but nonetheless a lot has happened and changed.

The family has changed. Goddess and Teyonas parted and Goddess partnered to my sister Valerie. My sisters Fae and Claire left the family and my beloved sister rabea is suffering of serious RL health problems and might not return.
Amanda, Alexx, Jaycie, Joni and Mariska became new sisters to me.

My own little family within the family changed. My sub Sio left us unexpectedly. I collared vero but she found her love for Gor roleplay and she left us as a dear friend. Our only boy, slaveboy Santana found his way to be officially in the family. And just recently I collared my sweet Doll Dana. I am happy to report that my sister Mariska became my subsister and is now often with us as part of our family branch. And … I expect to collar another girl soon.

We lost our home in Rivers Rock. That was a dramatic change. As the tiers weren’t payed to LL the sim closed without any warning. I wrote to LL and they kindly reopened the sim for 3 days so that we could grab our belongings. Suddently we were homeless. We had our family home at Yasminia but no “Chez Maurer” to retreat to. So during these days in October 2010 I looked around restlessly for a new place. Finally we decided to settle in Dragon Cove where we rented a quarter sim. We share the new home place with our dear friend Claven who was neighbor to us already in Rivers Rock. And Virgo and Tyra also became neighbors to us. It is great to have neighbors like you are!
With Rivers Rock we also lost the place for our Friday Night parties hosted by our DJ Virgo. Luckily the new homeplace provides enough prims to establish a new club where we’re dancing now every Friday 1 PM SLT / 9 PM GMT. You’re heartly invited to join us there.
Apropos dancing. Dancing and listening to good music has become our main activity besides our kinky part of SL. We often chill out at Venustus before we go to bed and wet met a lot of nice people over there. Although it is a quite laggy place because of the large audience once you managed to teleport there and have rezzed the lag is bearable as long as you talk mainly in IM and as long as the music stream lasts. I can strongly recommend visiting.

Other activities we love are playing dice games or cards or to fence. That’s another way to chill out in SL when you’re not in the mood for kinky plays. Oh no, we didn’t loose our kinky side. It is still our main activity and you can sense the vibrations even when we chitchat about other things. We found new toys and animations, discovered other little mean toys like thumbcuffs and tongue clamps. We also give home to some decorative bondage toys either for short seasonal live objects like our lovely christmas tree replacement during the holidays or as long time live decoration like “it”. This deco is also mobile and can be placed elsewere if needed and “it” even moans when you push the right “buttons”.

My relation to Jenny has further strengthened. She did become quite as domme as myself just a bit more cruel at times but she’s still my beloved slave. She’s very attentive and I feel very spoiled having a partner like her. For christmas she bought a Chimera for me. That is a dancing animation worn at your head. It animates you and those who click it with lovely recurring dancing animations – all selected by Jenny. And I was sure that I had no wish at all. You surprised me again. Thank you my love!

Further changes? Yes the viewer. During my 3rd year we lost the Emerald viewer due to non-compliance with the LL 3rd party requirements. Since then and thank to the never ending patience and work of the Phoenix team we use the Phoenix viewer. I am happy that I have not to get used to the odd viewer 2. We do have multiple attachment points now as well as we do have display names now. The display names are not as bad as I thought as long as they are used wisely. And, I admit, they can be a lot of fun when they are embedded in long term roleplay.

Anything else changed? I became older. In SL this expresses in finding your own style, developing the appearance of your avatar, collecting the wardrobe you love either for casual or for kinky occasions, yes.. and collecting the according shoes, boots, heels, ballets and stilettoes. You may compare me in 2008 and me in 2011 …. not any additional wrinkle, still as young as at my first day in SL but nonetheless .. not the same.

16 days old in SL

3 years old in SL now ... no additional wrinkle at all *grins

I am very happy and content with my SL and I hope that my 4th year will be as exciting as the 3rd year was. My greatest wish for my 4th year is that the above mentioned base of my SL will not change. I want to end this entry just like I ended the entry for my 2 year anniversary:
Dear Jenny, Dear Goddess, dear family, dear friends, let me heartfully thank you all for your love and support. I wouldn’t be here without you. I wouldn’t be “Dio” without you. I couldn’t relax and enjoy SL without you. Thank you all for a great 3rd year in 2nd life. Many thanks!
