Diary 2018 (44) March 15th/16th – St. Patricks day at our Friday night party

There’s not that much to report from Thursday, March 15th. In the afternoon I went simploring and saw Gem Preiz’ installation Demiure (read here). I also met Angelique at the Apostasy. She was just taking a break as lag became unbearable for her dusting chores. There we also met Caitlin, another maid, and we had a short chat. Oh yes, I also tied Angelique’s arms on her back, just because it looks better for a maid that cleans with a duster gag, arms are just overrated when working like that. And I enjoyed Angelique’s protests.

At night Jenny and I met with our drones slaves Flo I and Flo II (AnneWanne) and with Angelique. Angelique had a technical issue. She had been forced teleported, but not by me or by Jenny. This can be quite annoying as you also get some spam teleport offers sometimes – and someone could kidnap our niece! Anyway, it took a while for Jenny to sort out her restraints and to find out what was causing it.
I also tried something out, an updated capturing HUD (no I don’t want to spoil later fun and tell here which tool I tried out). My test failed and that took additional time. These are the downsides of RLV but the upsides weigh way more and we don’t want to miss it. We went kinkploring and had a look at The Velvet Noir, a femdom gothic club. It was nice there, but empty – and I forgot taking some pictures. As it had become late already with these time consuming issue, we decided to just have one game of Skipee.
After Angelique and the drones were off to bed, Jenny and I had some time at club DeLust and Domme a Domme together before we also called it a night.

Friday, March 16th, we had our party at night again. I met with Jenny in the afternoon shortly and we went to Domme a Domme to catch up. Jenny was prevented from coming inworld at night due to RL. The party theme was St. Patrick’s day, hence green. I put Angelique into her new chastity belt and bra set and added a green ballgag. The drone slaves Flo I and II were re-coloured to green and we all wore green St. Patrick’s day hats. We had a great party again to embrace the upcoming weekend.

Ebbe and Oz talk Second Life in the cloud

Second Life moving into a cloud? I first thought, that will not change a thing for me as a user. But it does in several ways. First of all, Linden Lab will be able to turn fix costs into variable costs. That might help them to increase earnings and hence helps to keep Second Life running. Good News!
But there’s more that might change by the move. Nowadays Linden Lab’s revenues mostly depend on land tiers and as land is quite expensive it limits growth – revenues are more likely decreasing today. The move into a cloud might offer new pricing models based on usage, something that doesn’t frighten most users off as much as regular recurring payments do.
Right now the move into a cloud is decided but there’s no fixed date for it yet. The plans about a new pricing model aren’t yet fixed either, there’re just some ideas out so far.
Inara Pey’s blog post gives us some insight of what to expect. I look forward to the change and I hope it will be a smooth move with only little unavailability of Second Life.

But these days, with the services from Google and Amazon and Microsoft with cloud infrastructures, it makes a lot of sense to shift our technologies to be on top of those cloud infrastructures instead of having our own.

The return of Second Life Last Names – update with audio

When I joined Second Life more than 10 years ago I had to pick a last name from a list of about 20 or 30 names and decided for “Maurer”. Up until today you know that those wearing the last name Maurer come most probably from Germany and as the list of offered last name changed you can also suspect their potential rezz date. Then Linden Lab disposed the last names in Second Life and we first cracked jokes about the fast growing “Resident family”. But as it is with many changes we got used it with the years. Nowadays having a last name clearly indicates that you’re an oldie in Second Life.

Now I read in Inara Pey’s blog about Linden Lab’s plan to reintroduce last names and what problems are to be solved with the return of last names. For me it was quite interesting and I wanted to share it in this blog.

Simploring 2018 (27) – Gem Preiz’ Demiurge

When I visited Gem Preiz’ installation “Sapiens” in January (read here) I met Inara Pey there, who told me that Gem plans an extention of this installtion by End of February. And really, as it turns out I got an invitation for Thursday, March 15th, from Gem himself to attend the opening of this extention for Thursday, March 15th. Unfortunately I could not attend the opening but visited a few hours before the opening. The extension is called “Demiurge“.
The word “demiurge” is an English word from demiurgus, a Latinized form of the Greek dēmiourgos. It was originally a common noun meaning “craftsman” or “artisan”, but gradually it came to mean “producer”, and then eventually “creator” (from wikipedia)

At the landing point you can grab a notecard in several language, which explains Gem’s thoughts about both installations: “Sapiens ended on the vision of the Man understanding his universe and learning to dominate it. In Demiurge, the Man becomes creative and shapes his environment, for the good or for the evil.” From the landing point you can teleport also to Sapiens.

Impressions of Gem Preiz’ Demiurge: The past

Demiurge consists of 3 parts: the past, the present and the future. Each part is built on a sim-wide space.
The past reminds of of an ancient city, maybe Rome. It has classical buildings, historic buildings you can find all over the world, buildings with history, buildings that were built to last “forever”, to witness the ideas of a times. Inside of some buildings you find fractals exhibited. From the largest exhibition hall you can teleport to the next part: the present.

The present is very disillusioning: uniform skyscrapers, dirt, elevated roads and thousand of tin-sheet huts. In the present of Demiurge is just one exhibition hall with fractals. It is easy to find as the buildings stands out from the rest. From there you can teleport to the next part: the future.
I talked with Gem later and her told me that the skyscrapers are inspired by the chinese town Chongqing, an ocean of 25 floors buildings to house 30 millions people, while the slum is inspired by Kibera, the slum around Nairobi, Kenya. I don’t know both places, but I kind of have an idea how it might look there.

Impressions of Gem Preiz’ Demiurge: The present

The future is bright, particular with the windlight setting I used: Bristol. This world has futuristic skyscarpers of all forms. It’s clean and neat and organized. It does not only look futuristic but also artificial as if there’s no individuality anymore – although the buildings are creative as such, but the single human being is lost in the world. Look a bit around, you might find a starship, which you can use to explore the future from another perspective. I found it and I used it. It also adds to the fun!

At the end of the installation Sapiens I saw a huge golden statue (the homo sapiens sapiens?) holding the grid cube in it’s hand, looking at it lost in thoughts. At Demiurge you’ll find this huge golden statue in a spherical building and it holds a brain in it’s hand, looking at it lost in thoughts. At the base of the statue you find teleport pads to Sapiens and to the past and the present.

Impressions of Gem Preiz’ Demiurge: The future

Demiurge is an impressive installation about architecture, not about single periods of architecture but from a higher level. It shows the clear forms and outlines of classic historic buildings that follow either function (like theatres) or simple demostrate power. There builders had he intention to create something for the eternity. It shows the uniformity of modern housing towers, the dirt and the poverty of the slums that are reality for many people around the world. And it shows our dreams that have become reality at least partly at some metropol areas like Shanghai, New York, London ..
Of course Demiurge is also a place where Gem’s fractals are exhibited and they fit in very well as most of them look a bit like science fiction. Overall, the installation contains 32 high resolution fractals. Some of them have already been displayed on Secondlife, in various other exhibitions.

At the landing point of Demiurge as well as in the notecard you find recommendations about the settings of your viewer. I also recommend to turn your music on (I did). The music Gem selected fits really well.

One last thing. If you have time enough, walk outside of the building where you enter Demiurge. The landing area is inside another “future” world that is dominated a one tall skycraper. Gem told me that it is inspired by a project of tower to be raised in Bassorah, Iraq, that shall raise 1.000 meter, in SL it’s “only” 340 m tall. Talking with Gem you can sense his passion for architecture, forms and skyscrapers.

Thank you Gem for this extension to Sapiens. Demiurge is – at least for me – an installation you have to visit. Great work, Gem, very impressive!

Diary 2018 (43) March 13th/14th – Angelique’s fantasy

Tuesday, March 13th, I met only shortly with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon. Mistress took me to Heavy Bondage Club and locked my cuffs in hogtie. Restricted like that she had my full Attention while we caught up quickly.
Then Mistress just released me from hogtie into a standing pose and we met Angelique at the Apostasy. She had just finished work there. Mistress offered a deal to Angelique and me, keeping me tightly locked the next days or locking Angelique’s chastity belt back on the next days. I tried not to argue or to discuss and said, either way would be fine for me and Angelique draw hope from it. But then, who shall care about the family, the slaves, when Mistress is absent due to RL? The argument did weight a lot and Mistress unlocked my wrists so that I could put Angelique chastity belt on and when Mistress heard the lock of the shield she unlocked my ankles as well – poor Angelique is back in chastity.
Drone Anne followed the scene and when Mistress had to leave and Angelique had to turn back to her maid duties, I took Anne home and began to restrict her drone suit before I had to leave myself.

At night we had two drone slaves around us: slave drone Flo (in pink) and slave drong Flo two (Anne in white). Of course I didn’t restrict slave drone Flo two as tight as slave drone Flo yet. But slave drone Flo two has similar mantras to say in a random order. That was kind of a particular fun when Mistress Jenny, Angelique, the two drones and myself went to Mesmerize Dungeon and got some eye candy there while chatting.
The mantras of the drone sometimes sound quite similar as if they spoke together, yet it is pure coincidence. We went home and had a round of Skipee until drone slave Flo had to leave. Mistress Jenny, Angelique, drone slave Flo two and I went to club DeLust for 15 minutes to wind down, then it was already bedtime for us again.

The highlight of Tuesday was still to come. When we returned to our skybox Mistress Jenny took off my wrist and ankle cuffs and she replaced my “Ehesklavin” collar with my normal collar. She ended my longest red light so far. Thank you, Mistress Jenny!

Wednesday, March 14th, I met with Angelique in the afternoon. She was still in her maid dress from work at the Apostasy. Her outfit also contains a black latex hood, that covers her eyes with transparent latex, so that her view is restricted but she can still see through it a bit. She and I had looked for another similar hood that is also RLV enabled.
I found the Hawk Hook on the marketplace and Angelique found it inworld at Stones ‘N Rubber (sNr). We went there and bought one although we couldn’t grab a demo. At home Angelique tried it – and it works perfect. She resisted to hand me the keys, as I’m known for loosing them, but finally gave in and I locked the hood on her.

Angelique is still, no she is again wearing her chastity belt. I hold the keys and I planned to take advantage of my niece. Angelique did talk back. She doesn’t want me to open her belt as Mistress had ordered me to lock her into it. I told her we mustn’t tell Mistress about it but she rejected. Ok … I could take advantage of her tongue then at least.
I used the new hood and blinded her, then I led her to our office and had her kneel in front of me. I stripped and pulled her head into my crotch. My bratty niece was reluctant, refused to lick me and I had to rub myself against her head and nose. I used my crop to spank her to motivate her.. and then … she peed. Oh dear! I couldn’t stop myself and was already close to come, when Angelique gave in and began to use her tongue. She was eager .. and didn’t stop .. and I didn’t get just one orgasm.

March 14th: Angelique’s fantasy

March 14th: Maurer’s at The Secret House: Mistress Jenny, Diomita, Angelique, Argi and drone slaves Flo I and Flo II

We had a round of skippe with the two drone slaves Flo I and Flo II, then we went to The Secret House, where we met Argi. Argi was shocked about Angelique’s red bum and outfit but she also liked it. We had fun teasing each other and Argi is always entertaining. And that’s it for this diary entry again.

Simploring 2018 (26) – Oscar 13 at DaphneArts

I got an invitation for the opening of another exhibition at DaphneArts (or Daphne.Arts) – Oscar 13. I couldn’t make it to the opening but I visited a day later on Monday, March 12th.
Oscar? Is it about the Academy Awards? Yes, it is. In this case it is about the award for the Best Foreign Language Film. This special Award was given to Italian films 14 times, where of one was primarily spoken in French – hence Oscar 13, for 13 award winning Italian films.

Paolo Sorrentino’s La Grande Bellezza (The Great Beauty) won the 2014 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, which inspired the artist Stefano Mingione, who shares a passion for 7th art (making cinema), to create a tribute to the Italian cinematography with the painting “Oscar 13”. The oil on canvas painting has the dimensions 2 x 4 meter and shows all 13 Italian Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film (spoken in Italian).

The exhibition Oscar 13 at DaphneArts shows a compilation of sketches used as study reference, and the final painting. At the end you walk into a cinema and watch a short youtube video that shows details of the painting “Oscar 13”.

I’m not a passionate cineast, nor did I know the above facts, yet the sketches and drafts that led to the huge painting are impressive and show how much work in detail such a painting is. If you’re a cineast, and in particular an Italian cineast, you will see much more in this painting than I do. I just like the way this painting is exhibited with showing also the sketches and the films behind it. Again I found something that I’d never expected to see in Second Life. I strongly recommend to read the website with information about “Oscar 13” (http://www.daphnearts.com/oscar13/), best before you visit inworld.
Unfortunately I didn’t find more information about Stefano Mingione, yet I didn’t try Italian websites, as I don’t understand any Italian, sorry.

Monday afternoon, March 12th, Mistress Jenny took me again to Domme a Domme and had me kneeling at her side while we caught up with our news. When our niece Angelique came inworld, Mistress took me back home and summoned her. Angelique was still dressed for dusting at the Apostasy from the night before. Knowing our answer, Mistress Jenny asked us if we wanted our Chastity belts unlocked and removed. Of course we did.
Mistress leashed both of us and took us the her new “naught girls room”. She locked me into my cage, sat down on her queening throne, removed her top and skirt and revealed the openings of the catsuit she wore below the top and the skirt, then she ordered Angelique to sit in front of her.

Our night was varied and relaxed. Mistress Jenny and I went to The Secret House and talked about the afternoon, read profiles, had eye candy and even a tiny bit of main chat at the club. When slave drone Flo came inworld, Mistress proposed to have one game of Skipee. We went home and found slave Flo and Anne (AnneWanne) there. Anne got a drone suit like slave drone Flo and is eager to learn more about it. And she helped slave drone Flo with cleaning at home – good girl.
We summoned Angelique, who was dusting again at the Apostasy. She had to fight with lag there and as the scripts didn’t work properly anymore, she was punished with locking time of the duster. To get it off she has to dust – and as the lag is too hight, she can’t. She could dust our Skipee table while playing. While playing Paige (Paige Umino) joined us and watched. We played exactly one round (I won it *wide grin*), then it was time for Flo to leave for bed.

We decided to take Angelique back to the Apostasy. Actually we wanted to watch her dusting for a bit – but we didn’t get any farer than the landing point. It was quite busy there and we had quite some entertainment and chat (the lag isn’t surprising with that many people and most of them wearing not just one restraint). Again time had flown by.

Something else? Yes, I locked Anne’s drone suit. Now she can experience it *winks*.

Diary 2018 (41) March 9th – 11th – Naughty girls

Friday afternoon, March 9th, I was simploring when Mistress Jenny came inworld. I finished simploring together with her, then she took to Domme a Domme to catch up about RL and SL news. I told her about the night before, where she wasn’t inworld (see last diary entry here) and that I retreated with Angelique after playing Skipee with her and slave drone Flo. Mistress Jenny asked me, what exaclty I did together with Angelique and grilled me until I told her that Angelique and I were more than a little bit close together.
I didn’t expect what happened next. Mistress was not angry or mad at me, as opposed to she was happy that Angelique and I got that close again. But with a mischievous grin she said that she’ll will get her way of fun. That said she ordered me to wear a black latex catsuit and then she put a small chastity belt on me. All my protests and complaints didn’t help. She was determined. She allowed me hiding the belt for the party at night and she also proposed that I should put Angelique into chastity too.

Before the party at night I tired a lot of different clothes to hide the darn chastity belt. Finally I found something that covered the belt. Our party started late as Virgo ran late but again it was a great start into the weekend. I told Angelique about my belt – and no I didn’t put Angelique into chastity.

Saturday afternoon, March 10th, Mistress and I went to Domme a Domme again to catch up. I told Mistress Jenny about the night before and about our party which she could not attend due to RL. She was surprised that I didn’t put Angelique under chastity as well.
She called Angelique, who was just dusting at the Apostasy, and summoned her home. Then she ordered Angelique to put her chastity belt on and ordered me to lock it. All protests of Angelique didn’t help. I selected a dress for Angelique that hides it quite well and decided to wear a similar myself later. Again Mistress confirmed that she was not upset at all, but that she just will have fun and enjoy herself. Before leaving into RL Mistress locked my up at our skybox.

Saturday night, Mistress Jenny had fun teasing Angelique and me and preparing her fun. She took Angelique and me to the wet room of our dungeon and declared it to be the “naughty girls room”. I had to move my cage from our skybox to the naughty girls room and to add a small queening throne, which we also have at our skybox and which is one of Mistress’ favourite places to sit on (and get particular services). I began to suspect at least some parts of Mistress’ planned fun.
When Mistress was pleased with the preparations we first played a round of Skipee and then went to The Secret House for chatting. Angelique and I tried our best to persuading Mistress to revise her plans and to take us out of chastity – again with no success.

Later at night, slave slut cecy came inworld and we went home to look after her. AnneWanne was at home too and it was fun to expose our drippin’ slave in front of her. Before we went to bed I leashed slave slut cecy at the porch of our home.

Sunday, March 11th, I was inworld for a bit in the afternoon and met Anne again. We had a nice chat and I gave her some hints about body shapes.
When I returned Sunday night, slave drone Flo and Anne were together at the disco, obviously chatting. I got a call from Angelique who confessed to me that she got herself in some trouble. She had been dusting again at the Apostasy and inspired from other maids cleaning there she tried some self bondage. Oh my god, she must have inherited at least some of Mistress Jenny’s genes too. She wanted to prepare me in order that I won’t be too surprised when seeing her.
Mistress Jenny came inworld and after we caught up we went to the loft and summoned Angelique there. Well, her outfit was really stunning. Angelique succeeded again with a nice mix and match outfit and the nipple clamps as well as her hood really look tempting. Too bad, that she and I are still wearing these darn chastity belts.
Angelique told us about a new shop she discovered and we went there – Deviant Behavior. They sell nice latex clothes there and the way you test the demos is outstanding as you present yourself on a stage wearing a demo. Great shop – great clothes! We spent some time there and Mistress Jenny, Angelique and I had fun trying on some outfits.

In the meanwhile also slave slut cecy was inworld. We went home and met also with slave drone Flo and Anne. I took slave slut to the Skipee table and leashed her there. She could watch Mistress Jenny, Angelique, Anne, slave drone Flo and me playing cards and learn the game herself by watching us. slave drone Flo won the game and time had flown by again.
Mistress Jenny and I stored slave slut cecy at Psi’ realm and then we went with Angelique to club DeLust to wind down a bit. Oh … and Mistress Jenny bought one of the dresses of Deviant Behavior for me and I had to wear it at club DeLust. What a full and varied night again!

Today marks Jenny’s 10th rezzday anniversary in Second Life. I bet she didn’t expect to get addicted to Second Life and to stay that long in this virtual world – and nor did I. Our paths crossed soon after her rezzing and we we’re together ever since, as partners and as D/s couple. She’s my base and my anchor in this virtual world and I am her’s. We share the same memories, we share the same family and friends. This blog is full of these memories.

Simploring 2018 (25) Never Totally Dead

I picked “Never Totally Dead” from scoop.it SL Destinations, again a place built as an exhibition for a store with the same name owned by Sean (Bluesean Yiyuan). The store offers old manors, historic buildings, haunted items, furniture and curiosities. The landing is on a street in front of the main store. The whole scenery is set to the 1930’s or 40’s, at least looking at the car, that is parked on the street and looking at the front of the store. The store looks really small, but it opens up in the back and is quite large actually.

Never Totally Dead – overview

I started my visit with the store. And this visit was quite enjoyable. There’s not just furniture! Walking through the rooms I passed by antique vases on podests …. and ups, they fall down and broke into pieces. Did I touch? Antique porcelain dishes falled from the wall, ghosts began to throw with paper, books and other stuffs …. a dining table was set up by magic and a turkey and a bottle of champane began to hoover above the table. Funny! Halloween is coming but not now! You can of course also buy antique furniture, clocks and other stuff, even a old manor. This visit was fun – and now I know where to get some joke articles.

Never Totally Dead – impressions from the store

Leaving the store “Never Totally Dead” and following the road you come to a manor, that is surrounded by a large garden, or is it more a palace? I went inside and it looked quite familiar. It was not the furniture that looked familiar. The manor is furnished like you would expect it from a palace and is really fitting to the outside. And of course it is mainly furnished with the furniture you can buy at the store.
Familiar for me was the layout because I saw this manor already in several other places. Now I know where I could buy this manor (I won’t). Knowing the general floor plan I found the staircase to the cellar, but in this manor you just find wine there. In the cellars of the manors I visited before in Second Life there was the more kinky stuff. Did I mention that I destroyed some vases and porcelain again during my visit to the manor?
Anway, the manor, the garden house and the surrounding park is very nice and invites to take same pictures. I had fun.

When I had just finish my simploring tour, Mistress Jenny came inworld and I invited her over. I can tell that she had really fun with the haunted items in the store and she also recognized the floorplan of the manor.

“Never Totally Dead” is a really nice setting for a store like this. It might be more expensive than just a store or selling at the marketplace. But I’m much happier to see the items in a fitting enviroment and having fun exploring. Even when you don’t buy anything, “Never Totally Dead” is worth a visit! Thank you Sean for being creative and providing some more fun and a nice environment for your store. I liked it.
