On Staurday, August 22nd, Mistress and I had a quiet and relaxing hour togteher inn the afternoon. Mistress and I had a quiet and relaxed Sunday. I went simploring in the morning and really enjoyed my tour. I met with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon. We stayed at Puerto Esclava most of the time, then went to Psi’s realm and Heavy Bondage Club. Nothing happened, we just were together, chatted and enjoyed. Of course I took a few pictures, the ome taken at Psi’s realm is really good, I think.

For my simploring tour on Friday, August 14th, I selected “A Touch of Scotland ~ Bluebell Coast ~” from scop.it SL Destinations. The entry led me to another post from Maddy Gynoid “Simtipp: A Touch of Scotland ~ Bluebell Coast ~” (in German).

“A Touch of Scotland ~ Bluebell Coast ~“, furtheron just Bluebell Coast, is an adult homestead owned by Christina (Christina Hammerer). The sim was designed by her and by John Dee (johnmcfluff). Bluebell Coast is part of the Scottish Lowlands. The landmark description lists the points of interest and some tags: “Photographic sim with Kilt Falls, Stag Rock, The Tower, Rabbies Burn, Loudoun Ruins, Hammy’s Cottage, Inventors corner. Campsite, Adult, naughty, nude, photography, couple, dance, forest, hang out, beach, Wedding venue“

A Touch of Scotland ~ Bluebell Coast ~ – Overview

Bluebell Coast is quite flat. You land almost in the center of the sim on a flat stone. Here you cen join the group for 50L$ and can get rez rights, you can rent a bike or rezz a horse for exploring. I started my simploring tour with the tower that is quite close to the landing. On the ground level of the tower you find the “Inventor’s corner”.

There’re 3 big boards, one is an ad for Johnny Walker and when you click it you get a notecard with some information about Johnny Walker: “Johnnie Walker was born on July 25, 1805, on Todriggs Farm, Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland.”
The notecard contains a collection of links for more information.
The second board is a picture of Alexander Fleming. Again you get a notecard with more information and links: “Alexander Fleming was born on 6 August 1881 at Lochfield farm near Darvel, in Ayrshire, Scotland (my hometown)“. Latest now we know that the sim owner Christina (Christina Hammerer) is from the Scotish Lowlands, or more specific she’s from Ayrshire, which’s map is shown on the 3rd board.
When you click the map you get a notecard with a link that provides information of the history of Ayrshire and many pictures from the area. Ayrshire is roughly crescent-shaped and is a predominantly flat county with areas of low hills located in the South-West of Scotland (see also on wikipedia)

 

Impressions of “A Touch of Scotland ~ Bluebell Coast ~” (2) Hammy’s Cottage / Loudoun Ruins

Back to Bluebell Coast. I rezzed a horse explored the sim. Riding is fun as it is flat. There are not many buildings , just Hammy’s Cottage and the Loudoun Ruins. I looked it up …. “Loudoun Castle is a ruined 19th-century country house near Galston, in the Loudoun area of Ayrshire, Scotland.” (source Wikipedia). In the preset windlight the Loudoun Ruins make a great background in particular in combination with the wide blue blooming meadow in front of it. Just lovely!!

I went to the beach and enjoyed the views. I visited the Kilt Falls and went into the Cave Inn, which entrance is just next to the waterfall. And I visited the Stag Rock, another waterfall nearby. There are two stags standing about the waterfall, hence the name is fitting.

I also looked around but I did not find “Rabbies Burn”. As I had learned Bluebell Coast is about the Scotish Lowlands and in particular about Ayrshire I looked up Rabbies Burn on wikipedia – bingo, here we go: “Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796), also known familiarly as Rabbie Burns, the National Bard, Bard of Ayrshire and the Ploughman Poet and various other names and epithets, was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide” (source wikipedia).
Perhaps he lived in Hammy’s Cottage?

Impressions of “A Touch of Scotland ~ Bluebell Coast ~” (4) Stag Rock and other corners

Bluebell Coast is a lovely place to be, to explore, to ride and to enjoy. There are many places to sit and cuddle, in particular at the beaches. Everywhere around you find dancing animations be it for males or females in seagulls or for couples in stumps or spare tyres. I got an impression of the beauty of the Scotish Lowlands, It must be a great place to be! And Christina built her own little world in Second Life. Thank you so much for sharing it publicly. I enjoyed my visit a lot!

Diary 2020 (119) August 20th/21st – The end of the green light week

Thursday, August 21st, I met with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon and stayed in the annex of our skybox at home with her first. Art in Second Life 2020 (54) VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery

I was up to visiting a gallery or exhibtion on Wendesday. I scrolled through scoop.it SL Desinations and came across VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery. The entry was referring to a post from Maddy Gynoid “Die VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery von Vroum Short” (post is in German).
The names rang several bells. I know Vroum Short as an artist and she had several appearances in this blog already. I also know her as owner of VeGeTaL PLaNeT. I peeked at it several times but never found the time to really visit it and to write an extra blog entry about it. The VeGeTaL PLaNeT also hosted Aneli Abeyante’s La Maison d’aneli for about a year. I visit La Masion d’Aneli regularly.
By Maddy’s post I learned that VeGeTaL PLaNeT is gone since March 2020. The place existed for 12 (!) years. But it is back now as a gallery :-).

VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery – the building

The VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery ist owned by Vroum Short. It is a big scifi buliding in the sky of 1/4 of a full region. The building itself would be worth a visit! On the landing level you find a lot information. There’s a big board announcing the next exhibtion at La Maison d’Aneli. There are group joiners, ads of other galleries and a shelf with gifts from artists. I grabbed them all and I had a look at them afterwards. Some really nice art for free! Thank you 🙂

Below of the landing level is a big event area called “Le Chat Noir”. On the landing level itself are 2 large exhibition rooms featuring Vroum Short’s art. The art is sorted by colour and theme. Vroum Short is a French SL artist since 2007. As mentioned above she created VeGeTaL PLaNet, the location of the old La Maison d’Aneli.

Vroum’s art is often animated, in fact at VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery I found only animated art of her, so what I capture are just snapshots. Her art develops its effect way better when you look at the animation. Everything moves, everything changes. One room has more technical art objects in silver, other rooms contain very colourful fantasy artwork, also permantently changing.

The two rooms at the landing level did already impress me. But that’s by far not all. More of Vroum’s art, other colour themes, can be seen on the 2nd level and also on the 3rd level, the top level. Here I liked in particular the red themed art.
On the 3rd level is also a room featuring Aneli Abeyante’s art. I think I saw most of it before as part of other exhibtions of her.

Aneli creates objects in 2D and 3D, colourful, steadily moving, and with particular light effects. Aneli writes about herself: “I love geometry and mathematics. So after much practice, I managed to clear structures and shapes. In reality I practice painting, I do not have precise style but I always seek harmonization.” Also Aneli’s artwork follows geometrical rules, it is constantly changing, again my pictures are just snapshots.

I went back to the 2nd level. There are two more rooms. One features the art of Eylinea Seabird. Eylinea’s art fits perfectly into the character of all showcased objects and pictures at VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery. Eylinea is quite new to Second Life and explores for herself a broad variety of artistic possibilities in Second Life: painting, photography, sculpture and even soon tattoo creation. At VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery she shows some geometrical displays that reminded me of Spirograph. I think the pictures aren’t animated like the ones of Vroum and Aneli, but they seem to change nonetheless depending on the viewing angle.

The other room seems not to be fully opened yet. At least the artists name is not displayed outside. The room festures the art of Adwehe, who’s work I saw twice so far at La Maison d’Aneli. Adwehe is quite new in Second Life. It seems to that Adwehe is experimenting with different forms of art. What I saw so far were objects and some (animated) pictures. At VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery are only animated pictures, hence fitting to the overall theme of the gallery.

What you see at VeGeTaL PLaNeT Gallery is a broad variety of animated art, mostly geometrical forms, but also other variations, in particular some very colourful abstract art. The currently showcased art is really impressive and the gallery is really huge. You can spend easily several hours there.

Tuesday, August 18th, I met Mistress in the afternoon. We caught up at home, that I had her strip and put her into a rope harness again. In the “Backflash” series I select an old entry once a month and present it here. This way I force myself to browse in the archive and to fresh up a few of the many memories. For our readers the new series shall provide an insight into our Second Life without reading back the many posts and it might also give reason to browse through the archives.
For August 2020 I selected a post from August 22nd, 2015. We had kidnapped Karen Emms and she consented to publish her diary about her time with us. We do have stories like this every once in a while and they all were and still are highlights of our Second Life. There’s also a part 2 and part 3 … but no part 4. Diary 2020 (117) August 16th/17th Starting into a green light week

Mistress Jenny and I had another quiet afternoon just being together and doing a bit of sim hopping. We first caught up with our mutual news at home. Then we visited Puerto Esclava, Mesmerize Dungeon and Heavy Bondage Club. We read profiles and talked about it, we simply enjoyed. Mistress granted a green light for me starting that very day later a night. I really looked forward to it and began immediately making plans *winks*

August 16th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home, at Puerto Esclava, Mesmerize Dungeon and Heavy Bondage Club

At night I met with Mistress Jenny and Ann at Heavy Bondage Club. We returned home when slave Flo came inworld. Angelique was cleaning the house. We made her stop and had a game of skipee first. Mistress Jenny and Angelique against slave Flo and me. slave Flo and I were really lucky with our cards and had several good runs. But in the end the game became a bit lengthy and Angelique had to go to bed. Hence she laid the cards for me to end it as Mistress and she were still far behind. slave Melissa had joined us and had watched us. We took her and slave Flo to Mesmerize Dungeon where slave Gwendi and later also Ebony joined us after she had finished cleaning the house, good Cinders.

August 16th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club / at Mesmerize Dungeon with slave Flo, slave Gwendi and Ebony.

We retreated to the annex of our skybox when the slaves had went to bed. Time to start my green light! I had prepared some rules for Mistress, rules that will bring her back down to earth. She’s remains mine although I submitted to Mistress. I also got her a rope harness that will work with our Stockholm & Lima Shibari equipment. Laying out Mistress’ rules took almost half an hour and I got a nice long footkiss before we logged off … one of the new rules for Mistress during my green light.

August 16th: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at home

Monday, August 17th, was my first day in control since July, 1st. That I hadn’t had a green light for such a long time was due to my RL and because Mistress wasn’t willing to grant one.
When we met in the afternoon, I took Mistress Jenny to club Domme a Domme to catch up with our mutual news. It felt just great having her at my feet again and to expose her publicly as my property. Mistress followed her new rules quite well and it reminded of her saying that dommes make the best subs. We also talk about the consequences if she would fail the rules. Talking about that was fun, yet I really hope I don’t get any reason to punish my property. I prefer her being perfectly obedient. We went to Puerto Esclava next for half an hour before I took Mistress home to the annex of our skybox.

August 17th: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at club Domme a Domme and at Puerto Esclava

I had Mistress strip at home and tied her up in the harness that I got her the night before. Then I took her to the Shibari bondage frame. We struggled to get her harness working as planned but once it was working I had fun and licked Mistress to an orgasmus. And of course I took my part of the fun too *winks. That was a great start into this “green” week.

August 17th: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at home

After this full afternoon we had a relaxed night. We met Angelique at home and went to Mesmerize Dungeon with her. We chatted all night amoung us. slave Melissa joined us as well as Ann, slave Gwendi, slave Flo, Scarlett (mswhiplash) and a friend of Mistress, named Genesis. I teased Mistress with the new rules that I had set for her, she still struggles with them but she is already improving. slave Gwendi had an accident at Mesmerize Dungeon – poor girl. Mesmerize Dungeon was very full that night but honestly I didn’t look around that much as I was talking within the family. I was just enjoyable and fun.

August 17th: Diomita with Mistress Jenny at home / and at Mesmerize Dungeon with Angelique, Ann, slave Melissa, slave Gwendi, slave Flo, Scarlett (mswhiplash) and Genesis / at club DeLust

We returned home punctually at flotime and said good night to the slaves and went to club DeLust. Geez, it was more than full there! We stayed until the sim couldn’t manage the load anymore and we crashed. Quite a hint to call it a night. I enjoyed my first day back in control.

Simploring 2020 (57) Kiyori

After my visit to Voodoo Land (read here) I had a nice chat with Megan Prumier, one of those who had built Voodoo Land. Megan hinted that I should visit Kiyori, another city she was involved in building and that had just opened in early August. I went to Kiyori on Monday, August 10th.

Kiyori is an immersive nightlife location based off of various Asian influences. It is a full adult region and has a lot to offer. Kiyori is owned by Jasmine Kiyori. It was buildt by Megan Prumier, Sofie (Sofie Janic) and Jasmine Kiyori.

The landing is at a subway station and it doesnt take long until you notice that you’re in an adult environment. On my way upstairs to town I came across a vending machine for dildos and sex toys, the posters at the wall did also indicate that at least this sation is leading up to a red light district.

Once I left the subway I was admist raceways, big billboards, lights – wow. I went into the game room, a place for gaming and I had my first smile looking around inside. I liked in particular the offered female bums for 25 cent *grins*.

After this first adult fun I walked to a park. In the center of it is a restaurant. It is quite well designed and rich of details. If you’re hungry you shouldn’t look at it. The food looks really yummy. The park itself is what you’d expect seeing in a city.

Of course there are markets with stands, little restraunts, cafés, bars, food stands, discos and all what you’d expect in a big city. I read on a poster in the subway station what all I could have seen (I didn’t see that all):
“Tantra Gentlemen’s Club, Oriental Motel, Love Hotel, Adult Entertainment Store, Numerous Bars (Gay Bar, BDSM Bars), Red LightRooms, Massage Parlour and Spa, Qinglong Bar, Adult Arcade, Adult Movie Theatre, Sushi Bar”
Quite a list of things to do and to see!

Impressions of Kiyori (4) – bars, restaurants and the Maneki Café

I roamed around getting more impressions. Kiyori is surrounded by a very colourful high-rise building sim surround. The sim surround melts perfectly into all the lights in the streets and is a way better background than I thought on the first glance. Looking into the bars and restaurants is fun as most offer a lot of details.

The largest building occupied by the Tantra Gentlemen’s Club. It is impressive from the outside but also from inside with its purple light. The red light district has several bars (no, I didn’t see the BDSM bar), there’s a brothel where you can pose in one of the windows and I found another pose next to a BDSM raceway. I had fun.

At Kiyori you can rent a market stall or you can rent appartments. I saw a luxury appartment and two standard flats. So if you like this kind of city environment, have a look at Kiyori. Kiyori is (adult) fun and is a great place to take pictures in this particular environment.

Diary 2020 (116) August 14th/15th A bit of a rollercoaster

Friday, August 14th, I had not that much time in the afternoon. But Mistress and I found time for an hour together and we spent it at Heavy Bondage Club wit slave Luci at our side and later at Mesmerize Dungeon. We caught up with our mutual news and had some IMs that kept us busy. And we shortly met our “someone”, who I mentioned in the diary before. Unfortunately it seems that our times do not fit as much as we hoped for. We will have to watch that.

At night we had our Friday night party. And according to our current weather, Mistress had proposed that we wear not too much as it is hot and a raincoat as we get thunderstorms locally. We had fun once again and had to be careful with all the umbrella that were taken out. Mistress even made it rain in SL.

Saturday, August 15th, I met Mistress Jenny unexpectedly and unplanned in the later morning. Mistress was in an extraordinairy dominant mood. I had to strip and to wear the full set of the Elegance cuffs, then she took me to her 2nd throne in our loft skybox. I had to worship her feet first. To my absolute surprise Mistress unlocked my sub collar and replaced it with the slave collar, just after one week and just as I was recovering. She thereby threw me back into deep submission to her.

We had a comparably queit 90 minutes together in the afternoon. Mistress and I went to Puerto Esclava, the Heavy Bondage Club and to Mesmerize Dungeon, where we met Ann. We chatted, read profiles and simply enjoyed togetherness.

At night Mistress and I played two rounds of Yahtzee (Mistress won both) before slave Flo came inworld. We took her to Mesmerize Dungeon and met Ann again there. She’s a demoness at the moment and her appearance gave reason for some talk. slave Gwendi joined us and we stayed about one hour there, until slave Flo left early being tired.

Mistress and I went to Psi’s realm with slave Gwendi. There was quite something going on in front of us and I had difficulties to identify who hold who’s leash and who was in charge and who not. And the chat was quite confusing. Nonetheless we got some entertainment until bedtime. Oh .. I almost forgot .. Mistress replaced the slave collar with my sub collar again *smiles*… I can continue to recover. Thank you, Mistress.

Art in Second Life 2020 (53) “5 Times Boudicca” and “Carol Ann” at “The 22 Art Space in Bellisseria”

I got an invitation from Ricco Saenz to visit a new gallery – The 22 Art Space in Bellisseria. The 22 Art space is a new gallery in Bellisseria, the new continent with many Second Life prime members homes. The gallery is on one of these homes. It is owned and curated by Randy Firebrand and Ricco Saenz. The gallery’s name refers to the Modern Art Week in 1922 in Brazil, also known locally as “The 22 Week”. For the inauguration there’re two exhibtions at The 22 Art Space – “5 Times Boudicca” by Boudicca Amat and “Carol Ann”, an installation by Randy and Ricco.
Both exhibtions are opened until October 24th, 2020.

The 22 Art Space in Bellisseria

“5 Times Boudicca” is shown on the ground level.
It is “a retrospective of Boudicca Amat’s art, but one with a very particular intent. By concentrating on five themes – “Pretty”, “Light”, “Chairs”, “Wings” and “Broken” – that seem recurrent in Boudicca Amat’s repertoire, the exhibition allows us to observe her work along the years and explore different faces of her photography. At the same time, it underlines the artist’s consistency: with different subjects, in different years, there is a coherence in the way she treats light (which is one of the themes of the exhibition and also the foundation of the whole project) – and observing that is one of the main objectives of this selection of photos. And, as a bonus, the exhibition brings four new pictures, recently taken by Boudicca.”

The 5 themes are in 2 rooms on the 1st and 3 rooms on the 2nd floor of the gallery. Some of the pictures did really impress me and I selected them for this blog entry. As everybody has a different taste and as art does touch us differently and very personal, it is just my personal selection.

Boudicca is in Second Life for more than 13 years. She writes about the exhibition of her pictures at The 22 Art space:
“Ricco Saenz and Randy Firebrand’s unique overview of six years of Second Life photography, their selection reveals subtleties, and recurring themes that even I had never realised were there. Their thought provoking vision and passion has propelled a collection of images into an entity richer, more vibrant, and more meaningful than I could ever have hoped for.“

On the 1st floor of The 22 Art Space there’s also a bar and an opportunity to sit. Next to the bar you find a teleporter to a skybox. In this skybox Ricco and Randy installed “Carol Ann”:
“Carol Anne is an experience of enlightenment and extinction, of distance and affection, of ambiguity. In practical terms, the installation is about static non-player characters (NPCs) and what happens to them when an avatar, controlled by an actual person, approaches.”

The installion is in one room full of NPCs. They are static …. but once you want to mingle between them or to pose next to them, they begin to glow and disappear. After a while they reappear. This is funny on one side but also gives an impulse to think. I tried to capture the moment of disappearing in my pictures. I also tried to empty the room by bumping into all of them, but when I was done, the first were reappeared already.

Ricco Saenz is from Brazil – hence the idea for the name of the gallery. He’s in Second Life for more than 13 years and partnered with Randy Firebrand. Looking at Ricco’s groups in his profile you can see easily that he loves art in Second Life. The same goes for Randy, who is in Second Life for more than 10 years. He’s from the US.

Thank you for the hint, Ricco. I enjoyed my first visit to The 22 Art Space in Bellisseria. And I enjoyed Boudicca Amat’s art as well as your and Randy’s NPC installation. I look forward to the next exhibtions.
