Diary 2021 (3) Jan 6th/7th – Changing slave toy and slave Melissa

Wednesday, January 6th, Mistress Jenny, Flo and I went to Psi’s realm in the afternoon for more than an hour. It was quite crowded and fun. Amalia (Amalia Illois) was present and she succeeded to tease and to initiate some main chat. I caused drama because I provoked a domme and smacked her ass palyfully. That led her to call me a stupid idiot and to leave angry. Bad Diomita! I just smiled and shook it off. Most reacted like myself.
Amalia was looking really hot and wore her afro look hairstyle. The hairstyle tempted Gwen Drammond (dstross) to stick her fingers into the power plug and obviously she found one with high voltage.
To sum it up – we had fun!

At night Mistress and I played a skipee with Flo first, then we went to Carnal Intentions and stayed there until Flo left at flotime. I had fun teasing slave toy a bit with the Anavision HUD and the picture of her view, that she sent to me, almost looks like modern art. We also had a funny and entertaining conversation via group chat with Argi.
After Flo had left we went to Psi’s realm with slave toy for another half hour, then it was time for bed and we stored slave toy at home before we went off ourselves.

January 6th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with Flo and slave toy at Carnal Intentions / slave toy’s view / at Psi’s realm

Thursday afternoon, January 7th, I took down the Christmas decoration and made our island ready for the Spring to come. That took 1 1/2 hours, not as long as in RL but still quite a time.
When Mistress came inworld, we had Flo, Lucy (MissLucyWapes) and slave toy at home. We caught up quickly with out mutal news and then went seeing the girls. Lucy had cleaned the house so that Flo could have a lazy afternoon. We went to DHB as I wanted to change slave toy and she has most of their stuff. I picked a straight jacket, a gag and the ballet boots. We had a further look around, then we went home to change slave toy. That took a while but was worth the effort.

January 7th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave toy and Faye at Carnal Intentions

We went to Carnal Intentions, but without Flo and Lucy who had to tend to their RL. We spent half an hour there, Faye joined us and Ann provided a dance animation to Mistress and me – that was fun. But our time for the afternoon was already over again.

At night we met at the skipee table with Flo, Ann and slave toy. We began our night with a skipee again. slave toy knelt by my feet enjoying her misery. And slave Melissa came inworld and knelt at my other side. While we played I began to change slave Melissa but I wasn’t done with it before we ended the game. We went to the terrace and I finished, peeled slave Meli out of her catsuit, removed the hood and the chastity belt and added a harness gag. She was wearing just the corset, ballet ankle boots, cuffs and gag. When I had finished we went to Carnail Intentions for the rest of the night.

January 7th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with Flo, Ann, slave toy and slave Melissa at home and at Carnal Intentions

At Carnal Intentions also Lucy (MissLucy Wales) joined us. She had bought the Anavision HUD and I restricted her a bit. THe two slaves enjoyed just decorating us.
Later back home Mistress allowed me to lick her and to get my fix. Well, I’m really addicted.

And that’S it for this diary entry.

Art in Second Life 2021 (6) Artists’ Village at Campbell Coast

When I scrolled through scoop.it SL Destinations on Monday, January 4th, I came across an entry which led to a post from Inara Pey “A new home for an Artists’ Village – Campbell Coast“.

I read the post and had to have a look myself.
The Artists’ Village at Campbell Coast is operated by BJoyful and Doc Rast (rasterscan) and curated by Owl Dragonash. As the name implies it is a village (located on a sky platform) that offers 42 studio spaces in a really nice environment. Inara wrote in her post (January 3rd):
29 of the 42 studio are already occupied or reserved by the following artists: Dhyezl, Etamae, Jaz, Gidgy Adagio, Shakti Adored, Caly Applewhyte, Whimsical Aristocrat, Ceekay Ballyhoo, Michiel Bechir, Thomaz Blackburn, Giovanna Cerise, Rey Charles, Owl Dragonash, Apple Fall, Johannes Huntsman, Uli Jansma, Suzen Juel, Lena Kiopak, Anouk Lafavre, Dimivan Ludwig, Radagast Malaprop, Kitty Mills, Nympheas Nogah, Inara Pey, Blues Rocker, Tempest Rosca, David Silence and Skip Staheli. They are joined by musicians Jed Luckless, Lexus Melodie, Larree Quixote, and writer GoSpeed Racer. All of whom amount to a rich selection of artistic expression.
Those interested in obtaining a space at the Village should contact one of Bjoful, Doc or Owl in-world.

Impressions of the Artists’ Village at Campbell Coast

The studios are presented in town house style units with two floors of exhibition space (artists will need to install their own teleport systems between floors), with the studios laid out in blocks separated by cobbled streets and open spaces, complete with an open-air bar / event space at the southern end of the village.”

On my fist visit I had a look at the studios of Inara Pey, Thomaz (Thomaz Blackburn), CK (Ceakay Ballyhoo), Dimi Ludwig (Dimivan Ludwig), Suzen JueL (Juel Resistance) and Giovanna Cerise.

Impressions of Thomaz’ studio at Campbell Coast Artists’ Village

Thomaz is a SL photographer and processes the pictures he takes only a little or not at all. He is focused more on getting the right windlight setting for his pitures

Impressions of CK (Ceakay Ballyhoo)’ and of Dimi Ludwig (Dimivan Ludwig) studio at Campbell Coast Artists’ Village

CK (Ceakay Ballyhoo) presents both, only minimalistc processed pictures taken in Second Life and also highly processed pictures where the you can’t know if the original picture was taken in Second Life or in the physical world. Dimi Ludwig (Dimivan Ludwig) is working as musician in Second Life since February 2006, I assume that is why the guitar is in his studio. He presents very nice pictures of animals and nature from the physcial world.

Impressions of Suzen JueL (Juel Resistance)’s studio at Campbell Coast Artists’ Village

I’ve never seen anything of Suzen JueL (Juel Resistance) before, yet I really like of her café/studio, the colourful art at the walls that catches your eye and the atmosphere in the café that is particular. Suzen has her own website with an event calendar and more examples of her art and her music. I was quite impressed.

Impressions of Giovanna Cerise’s studio at Campbell Coast Artists’ Village

Giovanna Cerise is not unknow to me. I visited Flash Back / Flash Forward in 2017 (read Simploring 2017 (42) Flash Back / Flash Forward), in 2016 I visited her LEA-installation Monochrome (read here), in April 2015 I saw Otium (read here: A visit to Otium) and in May 2019 she participated in an exhibtion at La Maison d’Aneli (read here). Giovanna is an Italian literature teacher and musician. In Second Life she’s active since Ende of 2008 and had many exhibtions and installations. She particpated in the LEA program participations and her list of activities and appearances is long. For more information look up her website. At her studio she presents pictures and 3D sculptures that are real eyecathers and look very different depending on the viewing angle. It’s a feast for the eye to explore these scuptures.

Impressions of Inara Pey’s studio at Campbell Coast Artists’ Village

Last but not least I visited Inara Pey’s studio, actually it was the first sutdio I saw during my visit. I know Inara’s way to create artful pictures in Second Life from the many post I read in her blog. She developed her own and very typical style. As I know many of the places she visited myself looking at her pictures also brings back lovely memories.

Thank you BJoyful and Doc Rast (rasterscan) for this initiative and Owl Dragonash for curating the Artists’ Village at Campbell Coast. I had a pleasant first visit.

Diary 2021 (2) Jan 4th/5th Maurer’s toy

Monday, January 4th, I met Mistress Jenny in the afternoon. We went to Mesmerize Dungeon to catch up with our mutual news. Mistress was once again in a very dominant mood. She kept me leashed and in the bound position. I could clearly sense that my leash is literally going to be shortened. We went to club Domme a Domme and to Carnal Intentions and talked. Although Mistress had offered to me to wear the sub collar or even the partnering collar over the holidays, I was still wearing the slave collar, honestly I didn’t know anymore since when. As I asked Mistress about it, she said that I should have asked for it and as I didn’t, she was happy to keep the slave collar on me. She said, it pleases her and that it clearly indicates her and my status. I can’t and I won’t argue against such a strong points. I had to realize that I will be allowed to wear my sub collar only for rare particular opportunies, if ever, not to talk about the partnering collar. Things are as they are.

January 4th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Mesmerize Dungeon, club Domme a Domme, Carnal Intentions and at home

Mistress took me home as she had to leave for RL. But before she left she had fun in her chair teasing me and expressing her status – and she left orders for me how she expects me the next day as she was not online at night.

At night I met with Flo at home and we played a skipee first. Then I took her to Mesmerize Dungeon and to Carnal Intentions. Again we chatted most of the time but this time also about how we can enhance her new corset outfit with some nice restraints to please Mistress and me. It was fun to bring her slowly to the ideas I had for her *winks*.

January 4th: Diomita and Flo at Mesmerize Dungeon and at Carnal Intentions

When my new bondage toy slave Ember (brie4675) came inworld, Flo and I went to Psi’s realm until Flo had to leave for bed (flotime). I stayed a bit at Psi’s realm with slave Ember, then I took her with me at home and cut off her hair and shaved her head bald. I enjoyed to tighten her restraints and restrictions step by step, also using the AnaVision HUD just a tiny bit. We went to Carnal Intentions and to Dark Butterfly before I stored her at Psi’s realm for the night. I got quite some IMs that night about the new toy at my leash.

January 4th: Diomita with Flo and slave Ember at Psi’s realm / Diomita with slave Ember at Psi’s realm, Carnal Intentions and at Dark Butterfly.

Tuesday, January 5th, I went on a simploring tour after lunch. While I was on my tour slave Ember came inworld and hence I picked her up at Psi’s realm when I had finished simploring. I took her to Carnal Intentions and stored her into a cage there. I made myself comfortably in a chair next to the cage and stayed there while I was writing my simploring report. To my surprise Mistress Jenny came inworld one hour early and thus I wasn’t yet wearing my full cuff set. Mistress wanted me to wear it when we would meet in the afternoon. And her order was that I lock the cuffs and hand her the keys.
We took slave Ember with us and leashed her at the porch of our house. Then I went to our skybox and attached the cuffs, locked them and when Mistress joined me there, I handed her the keys. Mistress led me to the wall with the rings and hooks and fixed me there. Then she laid out her plans for the following weeks. No doubt, Mistress is determined to lead me another step deeper into my submission to her. It made me shiver, but on the other hand I can’t change it anyway.
Mistress released me again and unlocked the cuffs. Then we went to slave Ember, and I added Mistress to her collar and other gear before we went to Heavy Bondage Club for a while.

January 5th: slave Ember at Psi’s realm / Diomita and slave Ember at Carnal Intentions / Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin Diomita at home

Back home, and before we logged out to tend to our RL, Mistress allowed me to lick her and to get my fix. Thank you Mistress Jenny.

Our night began with setting up Flo. She loves her new dress and we didn’t want to spoil her fun. As mentioned at the beginning of this diary post, her outfit needed a few enhancements. Flo wears the corset now with exposed breasts and we decorated the nipples with weights and with chains that connect to her collar. Furtheron we took of the jacket and restrainted her arms in an armbinder. That was a bit more work, as Flo’s armbinder was broken and we need to get her a new one. We were just done with it, when Ember (brie4675) came back inworld.
We went to Mesmerize Dungeon and spent the night there mostly talking between ourselves. Ann joined us and stayed with us most of the time. Ann showed Flo one of her more restrictive latex outfits and Flo had some fun testing the locks – naughty Flo.

January 6th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with Flo and Maurer’s toy at home and at Mesmerize Dungeon with Ann

Slave Ember got a new display name that night and I added her to our family and friends group. She’s “Maurer’s toy” now, therefor the title of this diary entry.

Simploring 2021 (4) White Binemust

For my simploring tour on Saturday, January 2nd, I picked White Binemust from scoop.it SL Destinations. The entry led me to post from Maddy Gynoid “Simtipp: White Binemust – (Winter 2020)” (in German). After reading the post I had to see White Binemust. I haven’t been to Binemust for quite a while. I visited the sim in 2016 (read here) and a revisit is on my list of things to do as I read that it has changed a lot.
White Binemust is part of Binemust, a full adult region owned and built by Biné Rodenberg.
Biné Rodenberger has a seperate Winter installation on a platform every year. I saw the installation of 2017/2018 (read here).

White Binemust – overview and orientation map

For 2020/2021 Biné has built something very different to the Winter installations that I saw so far in Second Life. Her Winter village is embedded a high mountain area. The sim surround is really large and the village is small inbetween the mountains. When you visit you have a great view on the mountains and feel like being there – and that’s something we miss these days. But in SL we can make short trips to dream destinations!

Impressions of White Binemust (1) – The village embedded in the mountains / at the landing point

As you can see on the overview White Binemust has two levels. The landing is in the forest on the higher level. A trail leads you to a chapel, that is really picturesque settled at one edge of the forest. Here you encounter two of the nice oddities that Biné has added to her White Binemust: One is a steampunk dragon flying circles around the Chapel, the other is a greenhouse used for a Christmas model train.

Impressions of White Binemust (2) – The chapel, the steampunk dragon, the greenhouse with the Christmas train

White Binemust is a little village with just a few houses, some of them are small, some of them are large and at least one is an architectual gem in my opinion. After visiting the chapel I saw the Christmas tree farm and a larger and a small house in the forest. At the larger house you can stroke a deer that lies there in the snow. The smaller house is the prove that no house is too small for a Christmas tree. The tree fills the house.

Impressions of White Binemust (3) – The Christmas tree farm, a large and a small house in the forest

At the edge of the forest is a modern house that stands out by its architecture. It is built above an artificial waterfall and has two levels. The house has large windows and from the rooms you have a great view to the mountains.

Impressions of White Binemust (4) – The modern house overlooking the mountains

I left the forest and went down to the second level of White Binemust where you find a cattle farm and three more houses. The house close to the cattle farm is a large American style lodge. It was open and I went inside. It is furnished like all houses at White Binemust. What caught my eye most inside is the Christmas decoration placed on a cupboard.

Impressions of White Binemust (5) The cattle farm and the lodge

The house next to the lodge is comparably small yet it looks really comfy inside and is also decorated very nice. There’s a steampunk Christmas tree inside that can be switched on and off. Maddy has a picture of this “tree” in his blogpost and you can also switch the tree on and off in his post (!). Well done, Maddy.

Impressions of White Binemust (6) The small house with the steampunk tree, the A-house

I finally visited the A-house at the other end of the lower level. The bedroom on the 2nd floor offers great view on the mountains. Image to wake up looking into such a panorama!
In front of the A-house is another oddity that made me smile: a snowman holding a bottle of desinfectant “Sanitize your hands”.
Appropos oddity. If you go to the edge of the lower level, you can see the wreck of an old Viking ship down in the valley.

Thank you Biné for this great installation. I enjoyed my visit a lot!

Diary 2021 (1) Jan 1st-3rd Starting off into 2021

My New Year’s day was lazy. I was inworld a few times but not that long. I got and sent out quite some New Years wishes, looked at silent Stand & Model crowds and finally decided to go on a simploring tour. It was worth it, I visted Snoweeta, a nice winterly place inspired by Southern Sweden (read here). After writing the simploring report my afternoon was almost over. I wanted to do something naughty and visited Amalia’s place, knowing she had changed one of her traps …. long story short, I got trapped and I needed her help to find my way out. It seems that I’m this year as blonde as last year *winks*. I was wearing the new corset outfit from KaS that I bought the night before and as I made no picture all day long except while simploring, here are three pictures of me with my new haircut and the new corset outfit.

January 1st – Diomita roaming: at club Domme a Domme, at Heavy Bondage Club and at home

At night we gathered at home for our regular party. Ann (Transann) had lured Angelique to KaS as well and Angelique was wearing also the new corset outfit. Flo got it as a present at as well. And when Mistress Jenny came inworld I took her to KaS and got the corset set for her as a belated Christmas present. Hence we all – except slave Melissa – were wearing the new corset set. But each of us had selected a different combination. Hence the theme for our Friday night was easy: “It’s a new year – wear something new or come as you are”

It was not full yet we had a surprisingly good turn out for a New Year Day at our Friday night party. And as last year we enjoyed it to the fullest and had fun together, chatting, cracking silly jokes, listening to good music and enjoying being together. And Virgo had to strip towards the end of the party *winks*

January 1st – 1st Friday night party 2021: Mistress Jenny, Diomita, Flo, Angelique, slave Melissa, vero Hartman, Sarah Fhang, Faye (Boy Serenity) (upper row), Molly (subbymolly), Della Randt, Starbright Wingtips, Firefly Starlight, Jade Littlypaws, Claire (maddh4tt3r), Virgo Babii, Virgo Babii (lower row)

Saturday, January 2nd, was a day with not that much to report for the diary – although I was online quite some time. SL had some issues and I crashed when I tried to teleport. I roamed a bit … when teleports finally worked and then I decided to go simploring. It took again four attempts to get ther but then I enjoyed my simploring tour a lit that Saturday. I idled at Heavy Bondage Club while writing about my tour – one full hour, not one single IM, that’s also SL *winks*.
At night Mistress, Angelique, Flo and I played a skipee, while slave Melissa watched us. We went to Carnal Intentions for a wihle .. and that’s it already. As mentioned above, nothing to report really.

January 2nd: Mistress Jenny, Diomita, Angelique, Flo and slave Melissa at Carnal Intentions

Sunday, January 3rd, was a lazy day for me with quite a lot inworld time. I spent more than one hour at Heavy Bondage Club in the later morning and had two longer and enjoyable conversations there. In the afternoon I roamed around a bit, I saw a nice outfit on someone at club DeLust and it inspred me to create a new mix-and-match outfit for myself. I visited the new central HUB for the follow-up program of LEA which is called SLEA. I assume that I will visit quite some art installations there this year. I sorted my inventory and I deleted quite some old landmarks that are no longver valid. I will had to delete more though. Later in the afternoon Mistress Jenny came inworld and took me to club Domme a Domme. Despite my very dominant outfit, Mistress had me at her feet and enjoyed exercising her power. She humiliated me in public by ordering me to kiss the feet of another guest there. It strangely feels good to feel her unlimited power.
We went home and had a dance in our Christmas gazebo – most probably the last one for this season. And finally Mistress took me to our skybox and provided my fix. Thank you Mistress Jenny. I can tell that Mistress is shortening my leash again, although there is no real red light anymore as I wear my slave collar almost always in this day and age. But I can feel when she shortens my leash and when she gives more leeway.

January 3rd: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme, dancing in our Christmas gazebos and in our skybox

At night I spent an hour at club Domme a Domme first. It was one of the rare nights when something was going on there. Hence I had something to watch and smile. I was approached by a slave who I knew from a former encounter, Ember (Brie4675). She was that eager to get under my control that I couldn’t hold myself back and took the offer. I did give her a fair warning though *winks*. I left her bound and just a little bit restricted and went home for a round of skipee with Angelique and Flo. That was relaxing fun. After our skipee, Angelique went off to bed and I took Flo to Mesmerize Dungeon and to Carnal Intentions. We just chatted and relaxed. Flo left early due to an early start for her the next day.

January 3rd: Diomita and Flo at Mesmerize Dungeon and at Carnal Intentions

I summoned my new toy Ember to me and began to restrict her properly. I took her with me to Carnal Intentions and to club DeLust and finally stored her at Psi’s realm. We will see how that works out with “it”.

January 3rd: Diomita with Ember (Brie4675) at Carnal Intentions and at club DeLust

Simploring 2021 (3) Snoweeta

For my simploring tour on New Year’s Day I picked Snoweeta from scoop.it SL Destinations. Snoweeta is a general homestead owned and designed by Kaja Ashland. She wrote in the landmark description: “An endless winter walk over the vast cloud-covered fields in Skåne can look empty and devoid. But when you look around closely, the snowy scene has many stories to tell…

Snoweeta – overview and orientation map

And yes, already at the landing point you are in an almost endless Winter landscape. The landing is at a farm track leading to a house that you can barely see from the landing, but the trees on both sides of the track lead your view to the house. When you look around the second time you see a bit more details. There’s a high cell tower somewhere on the horizon, a large single tree admist the endless snow covered fields, a broken tractor also in the middle of nothing on the field, a truck with a snow plough right behind of you, a long road leading to Ystad and Simrishamn, a police car standing on the road side, there’s an hot air ballon hoovering and there’s a little hill close to the house.

Impression of Snoweeta (1) – the tractor, the boar tree, the cell tower

Before I started my simploring tour, I read Kaja Ashland’s profile. There she wrote a bit more about her sim:
Snoweeta, a Swedish (Skåne) winter painting you can walk around in, welcome to explore. See my Picks for more info.
An endless winter walk over the vast cloud-covered fields in Skåne can look empty and devoid. But when you look around closely, the snowy scene has many stories to tell. Who got stuck with the tractor? Is it safe to walk close to the wild boars? Was a crime committed here? When are the Christmas dinner guests arriving to the magnificent table and who are they? Will you manage to walk over the muddy fields up to the hill and the warming fire? Will you visit Skåne, Swedens richest agricultural region, in a magical winter sleep?
Bring boots, warm clothes, and your camera. Welcome to the winter in Skåne, Sweden.

Impression of Snoweeta (2) – a walk from the main road to the house

I looked up Skåne in Wikipedia. Skåne County (Swedish: Skåne län) is the southernmost county of Sweden. It covers around 3% of Sweden’s total area, while its population of 1.3 million comprises 13% of Sweden’s total population. Ystad and Simrishamn are towns in Skåne.

Impression of Snoweeta (3) – the house, decorated for the season

Back to Snoweeta. The endless snow covered fields enforces you to look at the details and of course you ask yourself the questions that Kaja brought up in her profile text about Snoweeta. Why? Why is the police car standing on the roadside? Why is the tractor admist the fields?
You will have to answer that questions for yourself, you can spin your own little story about every detail. It is fun to let your mind wander and spin stories.

Impression of Snoweeta (4) – at the hill & pond

But Snoweeta has more to offer. There are the many deatils in the house, that is lovely decorated for the season. There’s the hill and the pond that offers great backgrounds for pictures. There are some animals in the little forest on the hill, like an owl. You can sit down at the campfire or start ice-fishing on the frozen pond. You can watch the scenery from a balloon (just “sit” on it) or you can use one of the small balloons close to the campfire to explore Snoweeta leviating.

Impression of Snoweeta (5) – at the hill & pond

Snoweeta impresses by it’s simplicity – and by the beauty that comes with the simplicity. The eye can focus on the details even more and better. Thank you for creating Snoweeta and for sharing it publicly, Kaja. I enjoyed my visit.

Art in Second Life 2021 (5) American Shot by Milena Carbone

I got an invitation from Dido Haas to visit the exhibtion “American Shot” by Milena Carbone (mylena1992) at Nitroglobus Roof Gallery. The gallery is owned and curated by Dido Haas.

What is an American Shot? It is a photograph framed from the character’s mid waist to right above their head. It is characteristic of American movies of the first half of the 20th century, at the dawn of cinema, and of the American empire. The exhibtion “American Shot” deals with the rise and fall of an empire, in particular of the American empire. The title has nothing to do with the pictures itself though, that are “Italian shots”, showing full bodies. That’s the educational part of this blog entry *winks*.

With “American Shot” Milena shows us the decay of the Western Empires in 28 images of which 14 are shown at present (until end of January 2021). Halfway the exhibition Milena will change images and show the remaining 14 works (early to mid February). Moreover, Milena also made a book of this exhibition in which not only all 28 images are presented but also the story she wrote ‘Greatness again and Decadence’. You will find the the book on the table at the Nitroglobus Roof Gallery and can purchase it.

“American Shot” by Milena Carbone” (1)

The 14 pictures shown right now are all quite large and show people in extraordinairy situations or environments, like the one that was selected for the exhibition’s poster. With the floor mirroring the pictures they all become quite expressive. And along with a few thoughts and texts they invite the visitor to spin stories, to connect them with the rise and fall of the American empire, to connect them with the texts.

In the accompanying notecard Milena writes about “American Shot”:
Even before the emergence of civilizations, human beings devoted part of their lives to representing faces. Animals, gods, chiefs, parents. They drew on rocks, they carved masks and statues in pieces of wood, clay or stones. The art of portraiture is found in every work of art. Each era carries its style and its faces. It is accepted today that the portrait is the representation of the absent. Absent God. Absent Master. Absent wife. Father absent. Unknown soldier. Lost friend. Jesus on the cross. Regretted Mary.

“American Shot” by Milena Carbone” (2)

Milena Carbone (mylena1992) is a French artist and is in Second Life since mid 2019. She discovered its artistic potential and since then has devoted all her free time to creation, associating, as in real life, images and texts. By accepting the rule of the “double” (the real “I” and the virtual “I”), she includes herself in her artwork: “Milena Carbone is a fiction in which, as in any artistic work, biographical and imaginary elements are mixed.” Her creative process is iterative: some of her images inspire her stories and these stories modify the development of the image, which itself transforms the story.

“American Shot” by Milena Carbone” (3)

Dido Haas wrote a comprehensive article about “American Shot” in her blog “Exploring SL with Dido“. It includes more information and a video of the exhibtion, that was made by Milena herself.
Thank you Dido for providing the Nitroglobus Roof Gallery and for featuring “American Shot” by Milena Carbone. I enjoyed my visit – part 1.

Diary 2020 (181) December 30th/31st Finally in control again (II)

Wednesday, December 30th, I waited for Mistress at our secret hideaway. After we caught up with our mutual news I made Mistress strip and fixed her on another advent gift from DsR. It is called “Scorpion” and can be used as a fucking machine or to finger or fuck a sub. I had fun taking advantage of Mistress and I could lick her sweet poison from my fingers afterwards.

December 30th: Diomita (ab)using Mistress Jenny at our secret hideaway

When I was done, Mistress had to change into an opaque catsuit and to add a rope harness. I gagged her and took her to club Domme a Domme and later to Heavy Bondage Coub to expose her in public as my property. As always our time together in the afternoon was intense and time flew by way to quickly. Before we logged off I stored Mistress in a shibari bondage at the annex of our skybox. This way she would had the right mind set for the night and for being under my control

December 30th: Diomita and Mistress Jenny at club Domme a Domme, at Heavy Bondage Club and at home in the annex of of skybox

At night Mistress was running late. I played a few greedy with Angelique and later also with Flo, then we went to Carnal Intentions. But it was not as exciting there as the night before and we didn’t stay long. Instead we moved on to Gravity (TheriaEriker)’s party at Caged Elegance and enjoyed the music there and chatted. Angelique and I talked about The Secret House, a club we loved to visit for many years, It had lost it’s popularity since it was taken over by a new owner. And now it is closing until further notice. Angelique and I weren’t surprised about it. But still it was a place we enjoyed – before it was sold.
Mistress joined us at the party later and we stayed until flotime. Then we returned home to say good night to Angelique and Flo. We were not sure, if we would see them again before the new years started.

I took Mistress to my annex of our skybox and made her strip. Then I stripped myself and we had a lovely intimate time together – with which I ended my green light a bit before the deadline. This way Mistress and I could have a relaxed last day of 2020.

Thursday, December 31st, I went inworld in the later morning. Kitty was inworld and told me that she’s surrounded by three (!) Amalia’s (Amalia Illois). Of course I had to see that. Kitty sent me a taxi to LWA (Lock Without Asking). And yes, Kitty was in a corner of the room surrounded by Miss Amalia and two clones of her. I tried my best to come inbetween but I admit I was a bit confused by the three Amalias and that took a lot of my attention. While I tried to help the three locked Kitty and added a spreader bar so that she could hardly run away. Then they began to besiege me and pressed me in the corner … Kitty sneaked slowly away while they were occupied besieging me. Three Amalias is too much to handle and soon after I was cuffed, gagged and leashed by one Amalia. Another Amalia looked after Kitty and brought her back. With the spreader bar she couldn’t get far enough away. The three Amalias had fun with us (and Kitty and I with them!). What a great start into the last day of the year!

In the afternoon I met with Mistress Jenny. We spent some time at club Domme a Domme, then went home to see Angelique. We played a few greedy’s then Mistress and I had to leave. It was a strange and quiet New Years Eve night in RL, no big fireworks where I live, no party, no friends. Mistress had to get up early on New Year. I saw her again shortly after the new year had begun for me. She was playing skipee with Flo, but were almost down. We wished eachother a happy new year and Mistress Jenny and I had just a few minutes in this new year at our skybox, then Mistress had to leave.

I roamed a bit, Ann showed me a new corset outfit from KaS (I got it), but nothing worth reporting here happened anymore.

Art in Sceond Life 2021 (4) La Maison d’Aneli Jan/Feb 2021

On Wednesday, January 13th, Aneli Abeyante opened a new joined exhibtion at La Maison d’Aneli. The participating artists for the first exhibtion of 2021 are: Sasha Arivalhagan (arivalhagan), Shoshisn Shilova, Anja (neobookie), NicoleX Moonwall, Kuervo (DonKuervo), GlitterPrincess Destiny, Zia Branner, Talixa and the RL artist Françoise Waroux.

As in the last exhibtions each of the 9 artists has an own skybox to fill at their liking or needs. Hence the art is presented in very different environment.

I started my tour with the art of Kuervo. I don’t know anything about the artist. The owner of the pictures, DonKuervo, is just 3 weeks old and therefore I assume it was created for this exhibition. In the accompanying notecard Kuervo writes: “The paintings that I exhibit here have been drawn and painted by me in IRL. I worked on the lights to create a nice presentation on SL. I am a self-taught person, my paintings were made mainly with acrylics, sometimes with Chinese inks or watercolors. I’m interested in drawing and painting, I’m a graphic designer, and I’m also interested in 3D, photography, djing, as well as sculpture.
You can find Kuervo on facebook here.

Kuervo’s skybox is just this – a box. The walls are used to present the pictures and yes, there’s something that makes you feel “Africa”, and not just because of the zebras. The lighting is selected nicely, the lights move and give the pictures a colourful gloss every once in a while. The effect is stunning compared to looking at the pictures without the moving light.

GlitterPrincess Destiny is in Second Life for almost 13 years. I never came across her before. At La Mansion d’Aneli she divided her skybox into an entry area and a box with 3 levels. GlitterPrincess presents pictures and some smaller 3D objects and installations. They all are about isolation, pain and death. There are some “books” close to several of GlitterPrincess’ art. Clicking these books gives you a notecard with a thought or two about the art. I’m not sure but I think the installation is expressing the isolation, the fear and the deaths that came with the current pandemic. GlitterPrincess’ pictures do tell stories, as it should be.
GlitterPrincess destiny writes in the accompanying notecard: “To capture the soul of emotions ……. subject soul and deep thoughts. This is my goal as a artist + photographer in SL“. You can also look up GlitterPrincess Destiny’s flickr page.

Zia Branner designed her box at La Maison d’Aneli as a warehouse with two floors. Zia is in Second Life for almost 13 years. She brought her RL paintings to SL. The paintings are mostly quite large and colourful, most of them are abstract, some are showing landscapes that have been coloured. From the accompanying notecard I have the following information:
Zia Branner had many drawing and painting art lessons at official institutes RL. She is also autodidact on things that did not come along in class. To her making art is a way of life. Often experimenting with techniques as a learning process. Most of the times she paints on canvas, but she also paints on wood and paper. Zia believes that “making art is rebellion against the finiteness of life“. The most important thing to her is that it makes her happy to see others enjoy her art as much as she loves creating it.
If you are interested in her art you can look up Zia Branner’s website. I do have a weakness for colourful art and hence I enjoyed the visit to her skybox.

Talixa is a new-media artist and in Second Life for over 5 year. She “examines the impact of new technologies on human identities and social connections. In the project shown at La Masion d’Aneli she examines how an AI facial recognition algorithm detects her own face when it is disguised by different digital filters. The algorithms used in this project is an off-the-shelf model, freely available on the GitHub community. The facial filters used in this installation are all freely available on Snap-Chat and were created by talented Snap-Chat artists: Sarah Mayer, jp pirie, Hiral Parekh, Jason Porter, agreeable greg, Joshua Keeney and Stencil Profane.

The skybox is filled with the pictures of Talixa’s face, levitating freely in the room, vanishing, appearing and turning, so that it is hard to focus on on face only – but the machine can. While it is funny to see the filters and what the AI recognizes, it is also scaring (me at least).

Hello and welcome into my world of Second Life art“, writes Anja (neobookie) in the accompanying notecard to her part of the exhibtion at La Maison d’Aneli. “I’m a Dutchie who likes to create, discover and explore the creativity inworld. I discovered the magic of making photographs and invite you, by my art, to join me on my trip. My exhibit is an attempt to create the story of myself as I walk Second Life and experience the world and dreams the surround us all. My thoughts turned into reflections of what I feel in both 2d landscapes and “NEOBOXES”

I like Anja’s art and the quotes on the walls of her exhibtion, that fit with the art showcased: “How far you go has nothing to do with distance” or “How deep you go has nothing to do with thinking at most with a will“. Anja presents quite elaborated 3D objects. Her pictures, taken within Second Life, prove a eye for the detail. I enjoyed my visit to Anja’s box.
If you want to see more of her art have a look at Anja (neobookie)’s flickr page.

Sasha (arivalhagan) is in Second Life for more than 7 years. She writes about herself in the accompanying notecard: “My personal acronym: NAA – Not An Artist! I think being an artist is one of the pinnacles of an existence. I don’t think I’ve reached it. That said, I do like photography a lot. The principle of my exhibition is very simple: to allow you to feel you are being seen. Not necessarily watched, but considered, questioned, appreciated, desired, questioned, loved, admired … And then let you imagine what stories are hidden behind all these glances less simple than they appear at first glance

Her skybox at La Maison d’Aneli is filled with pictures taken in Second Life, processed to enhance them. Many of the pictures are portraits, some show the whole avatar. Sasha always succeeds to make her pictures an eye-catcher, to make them tell a story, just as she wrote in the notecard. But I won’t call her an artist *winks*. Her art can also be seen at Sasha (arivalhagan)’s flickr page.

Shoshisn Shilova is another SL veteran with over 13 years in Second Life. I like the motto in her or his profile: “Reality is for those of you who can’t handle fiction“. Shoshisn uses male and female avatar shapes, which fits to the motto!
At Shoshisn’s space at La Masion d’Aneli almost all walls are covered with pictures, one wall is used to present 3D sulptures. The pictures cover a broad variety of art, erotic, fantasy, objects, scenes. This is also fitting to the above motto. There are many pictures and it was not that easy to decide which ones to take for this blog entry – but I got it done.
Her or his art can also be seen at Shoshisn Shilova’s flickr page.

Françoise Waroux is an RL artist. Here’s an excerpt of the text in the accompanying notecard: “From a childhood marked by several stays in Africa I kept the taste of the great outdoors, the light and colors. I have always collected flowers, branches, seeds, shells, feathers, pebbles for their beauty and for the pleasure of holding them in my hands. I started with collages, but the collages are fragile, difficult to transport and resist poorly time, the branches and shells break, the leaves and flowers lose their color… So I turned to photography to keep my collages intact. I enlarge or light a detail or a hidden side of an object or landscape, or on the contrary, I strip it to preserve only the characteristics that I feel as essential. I play with shapes, colors, light and proportions for bold, colorful and very original creations that sometimes surprise me myself. Each image is unique.

I couldn’t write it any better. The pictures are colourful and unique, yet I hadn’t thought that they were based on collages of flowers and branches and other stuff. Well done!
The avatar holding the ownership of the showcased pictures is Jeff (legrandjeff). To see more or to contact look up Françoise Waroux’ website.

NicoleX Moonwall is in Second Life for more than 11 years. She’s one of the outstanding machinama film-makers in Second Life. Filming in SL and RL since 2011, she has over 900 films that illustrate her unique style of filming, with sweeping long takes and little or no editing, on YouTube and Vimeo. She has received international recognition and has participated in over 150 film festivals around the world. For more information look at NicoleX’s website.
NicoleX’s installation at La Maison d’Aneli wasn’t finished yet, when I visited the first time. I visited it at the opening again. It’s quite difficult to interpret or understand this installation. It is a 3D artwork, a bit like a snippet of a nightmare involving Jesus Christ a bunny head, blocks and a loo. It looks different depending on the viewing angle and the Christ cross and the bunny head are connected, energy is flowing. Jesus Christ has a bunny head by the way …. I fail interpreting it.

La Maison d’Aneli is owned by Aneli Abeyante. Through her gallery she brings together all forms of creativity in RL and SL and the featured artists come from around the globe. Aneli’s intention is to “put her gallery in the service of artists, so that the world can be better, exchanges and meetings probably contribute even though it seems to be particles.
Thank you for another great joined exhibtion, Aneli. As always I enjoyed my visit and writing about it. It always inspires me.

Art in Second Life 2021 (3) Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple

One year ago I came across the art of Milly Sharple the first time when I saw her work at La Maison d’Aneli (read here). I visited her own art gallery soon after and reported about it (read here).
I learned that Milly is also a talented sim builder and creator and makes her own Christmas installation every year. It is called “Let it snow! A Winter Wonderland” and I visited it in 2019 (read here) and in 2020 (read here). When I talked with Milly about her recent Christmas installation, she told me that she moved her own art gallery and added new artwork. I visited Milly’s gallery “Fractal Insanity” on Sunday, December 27th, 2020.

Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple (1)

Fractal Insanity is a large building in a skybox. It extends over three floor and showcases the broad variety of Milly’s art. The floors and rooms are sorted by theme that range from classic fractal art over mixtures of pictures of avatars with fractals to pictures taken in real life and processed into oil paintings.

Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple (2)

The themes vary from portraits to animals, particular cats. One theme is common: “In diversity there is beauty and there is strength”

Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple (3)

There are rooms with animated art. I love this kind of art as the captured picture is a peice of art in itself and hardly reproducible. Milly also played with styles and there’s a corner with pictures that have an Asian touch.

Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple (4)

Once again Milly’s art impressed me, this time in particular the broad variety of her artistic work. Scattered on all floors you will also see her 3D art, her sculptures. One of these, called “Humantree” is also at our home.

Milly Sharple is an artist and photographer from the UK in real life and has always enjoyed art and artistic expression. She’s in Second Life since 2008 and was perhaps one of the pioneers in introducing fractal art to Second Life.

Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple (5)

I enjoyed my visit to “Fractal Insanity – The Art of Milly Sharple“, it was just the perfect activity for a Sunday morning. Have a look around yourself. Milly also provides some gifts, but they are limited in mumber. I grabbed one and will look to find a nice place for it at our home. Molly told me later, that the gifts change every month and if you join her group you even get a notice when a new gift is up. The gallery is a steady work in progress, hence new pictures are added every once in a while.
Thank you for your art, Milly!
