Art in Second Life 2020 (60) The Crystal Dragon by Cat Boucher

On Saturday, August 29th, I had some time at night unexpectedly. I usually don’t go to live performances at night as I’m busy with my SL family. I went to visit HEA-Gallery. Cat Boucher had an installation there at the HEA Performance Platform, which could be reached by a teleporter.

The Crystal Dragon by Cat Boucher – program / I attended Ryo Sogame

At the platform Hannington endowment for the arts & cool cat’s art music circus presented live performances of music artists. And the platform, the event space was designed by Cat Boucher.

Cat arranged a colourful ensemble of objects around the stage, big light objects looking a bit like mushrooms, glowing flower beds, giant ice menhirs and crystals … all in different colours, yet the main colours were greens and blues.
The platform was huge and the event was visited well, there were around 30 people and I knew at least 10 people, artists who’s work artists I had seen before.

Cat Boucher is in SL since 2007. Like myself she was immediately fascinated by the creativity I saw here. Cat started to support live musicians and other artists and built a music circus to hold my events/concerts, a circus without animals but with clowns. She learned to build and to create objects in SL.

Impressions of The Crystal Dragon by Cat Boucher from Saturday, August 29th (2)

The event on that Saturday night was to the music of SoJuKaNoU (Ryo Maynard), a mixture of psycadelic and chill out music with some vocals. SoJuKaNoU (Ryo Maynard) is from Japan and a music geek. Listening to the music you can feel his passion.
The whole stage was flooded with different particles, fitting to the music. I took a lot of pictures. These events are noot static and everybody gets different views – and it is gone again. The whole installation is gone again. What remains are memories and the picture and the good feeling watching art provides.

As the event is over and can’t be reproduced, there’s no landmark, where you could go to see the event yourself. There’s just the hint to watch out for events like this for example at HEA-Gallery.

HEA Gallery is owned by Hannington Xeltentat and was built by Tansee, who also runs the gallery. Thank you Hannington for providing the space and thank you Tansee for enabling the live performances on Cat Boucher stage “The Crytal Dragon”. I enjoyed the show.

Diary 2020 (130) Sept 14th/15th Mistress’ new chair

Monday, September 14th, I met with Mistress in the afternoon. After we had caught up with our mutual news I took Mistress to a store to try out a new throne or chair. Mistress had fun trying out the menu and the poses and she made me wear cuffs so that she was in full control. I could make a few pictures but for some poses Mistress was just to quickly changing. I enjoyed the testing a lot myself. I could convince Mistress to get the chair as a present from me.

We went to Heavy Bondage Club next where we stayed about 20 minutes before Mistress took me to our losft skybox. Once again I got my fix by licking Mistress. Mistress makes sure that I fall deeper under her spell. What an exciting afternoon. Thank you, Mistress Jenny.

September 14th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita trying out a new throne with many animations, at Heavy Bondage Club and at our loft skybox

Our night was quiet and relaxed. We spent most of it with Angelique at BDSM Lifestyle Swinger Club, which becomes more and more another S&M (Stand&Model) Club. We moved to mesmerize Dungeon after a while and played a round of Skipee at home. Angelique had to leave for bed and Mistress and I went to Puerto Esclava for half an hour. We had some nice conversations that night, some banter and some funny IMs, nothing serious, just relaxed.

September 14th: Mistress Jenny, Angelique and Diomita at BDSM Lifestyle Swinger Club and at Mesmerize Dungeon

Monday, September 15th, I had an intense afternoon with Mistress Jenny. After we had caught up with our mutal news, Mistress asked me to rezz the new chair that I bought for her the day before. I could notice that Mistress had already become a bit familiar with the menu and the contained animations. She made use of it, first so that I could adore her, then she teased me and played with her fingers in my pussy until I had a huge orgasm and finally Mistress got her service and I got my fix.

We went to our loft skybox where I rezzed another chair for her. Mistress tried to change the textures of all furniture to fit together a bit better. When she was done we went to Mesmerize Dungeon for 15 minutes where I could wind down a bit until Mistress and I had to leave to tend to our RL. A really intense afternoon.

As often after an intense afternoon Mistress and I spent a relaxed night at home with Angelique and slave Flo. We played greedy and skippee. Mistress and Angelique on the team play. After Angelique and slave Flo had left for bed, Mistress Jenny and I spent a few minutes at Puerto Esclava before we went off and to bed ourselves.

Art in Second Life 2020 (59) Third Eye Gallery – Jaz and Lynn

I got an invitation for the opening of a new exhibition at the Third Eye Gallery, featuring “Photos by Lynn” by Lynn (TitanicLynn Ayres) and “Navarasa” by Jaz (Jessamine2108). I went there Sunday, August 30th, the day after the opening.

The exhibition by Lynn is a collection of her captures of her SL exploration. They span across landscapes, architecture, still life, and stunning black and white photographs.

Lynn (TitanicLynn Ayres) started taking photos of Second Life this February. Lynn is fascinated by the colors and landscapes of SL. Most of her pictures are not post processed much, maybe just a few details like the sky. Her photos are about what captures her eye when exploring a sim. They maybe the vast panoramic landscapes or a small bird sitting on a branch. I personally was in particular impressed of the black and white pictures, a technique that I use myself for my pictures every once in a while.
Lynn presents her work also on flickr here.

“Navarasa” by Jaz (Jessamine2108) is a visual journey through emotions in Indian dance. Navarasas are the nine flavors described in ancient Indian sanskrit texts in any kind of art, and the emotions they evoke. The photos are exhibited at two levels. The lower level contains a pose from Indian dance embedded in an RL photo that contains the emotion it evokes. The higher level contains a visual that uses the creations from SL to depict that emotion.

Mistero Hifeng, Harry Cover (impossibleisnotfrench), and Eldo (Eldowyn Inshan) created the beautiful and quirky subjects for “Navarasa”. The pose creators Olaenka Chesnokov and Belly Button (barkha131) made the Indian dance poses. The RL photos used for “Navarasa” are stock photos from Pexels.com.

Impressions of “Navarasa” by Jaz (Jessamine2108) at Third Eye Gallery

Jaz has been doing photography in SL since 2018: “Thanks to all the artists and friends who have encouraged and inspired me. Special thanks to Harry Cover (impossibleisnotfrench Resident) for giving me an opportunity and courage to branch out on my own and to be able to collaborate and experiment with mesh with him. A big thanks to Kurk Mumfuzz and Tansee for showing me the magical world of particles and lights.”
I follow Jaz’ art work since 2019 when I saw an exhibtion of her work at Deva Westland’s Galerie Des Beaux-Arts (read here). Jaz is developing her own style and trying out herself and her art. I can sense her passion.

Third Eye is Jaz (jessamine2108)’s home and gallery – a place that is designed to showcase art, particles, inspire stories, and offer a quiet place to relax and rejuvenate. Jaz says: “It is the culmination of my many dreams – to create a place that nurtures and helps the growth of all types of creative endeavors – be it words, pictures, or particles.“

Enjoying Bondage September 2020 – Mistress Jenny tied up

For this month Enjoying Bondage series I wanted to feature pictures of Mistress Jenny in Shibari ropes. During my green light in August I had two longer Shibari-sessions with Mistress and I took some great shots of her in ropes. I like in particular one picture where she’s suspended in ropes in front of the Union Jack.
I embedded this picture (it was taken on August 19th) and a picture I made at home when Mistress Jenny was tied up in a Shibari rack (from August 17th) in the Enjoying Bondage picture for this month, that was taken on August 31st at Mesmerize Dungeon and shows slave Melissa and Angelique on my leash. That fits well as itone highlight of September was the collaring of slave Melissa, another was the time I spent with Angelique. Finally I added slave Flo, who enjoyed wearing an outfit, that Angelique created for herself and shared with slave Flo, who really enjoys wearing it. The picture of slave Flo was taken on September 2nd at Pis’s realm.

Diary 2020 (129) September 11th-13th Mistress Jenny’s time off

Friday, September 11th, I met Angelique at the Dark Butterfly club in the later morning. Not much was going on there and Angelique and I found time to talk for half an hour.

Sept 11th – Diomita and Angelique at Dark Butterfly

Mistress was on her family trip and I went on a longer art tour in the late afternoon. And at night wie had our regular Friday Night party. As we got some nice and warm days again, maybe the last really warm days for this year, I had proposed another beach party: “Summer is not over yet, let us enjoy the probable last warm days at the beach …. come in your bikini, swimsuit or just as you are.”

As every Friday we had fun starting our weekend dancing to good music. To my suprise Mistress Jenny showed up and we could catch up with our mutual news. Mistress had a very slow connection resulting in seeing us all in pieces. But she could listen to the music and she could talk.

Sept 11th – Friday night party: Claire (maddh4tt3r), Della Randt, Starbright Wingtips, Rachel Bloodrose, Talos (Talosborn), Sara (SaraRandall), Agent Etov (velika47), Virgo Babii (upper row), Baroness Capelo, Ann, slave Flo, Angelique, Diomita, Mistress Jenny, Diomita, Angelique, Mistress Jenny and Diomita in puzzle pieces (lower row)

Saturday, September 12th, I was inworld in the afternoon for almost an hour. I met Angelique at the Dark Butterfly club again and we talked. I roamed and visited a few places, but nothing really to report for the blog. Appropos blog – I spent also some time writing.
At night I explored two places that I had found in profiles, both were not very big, just skyboxes owned by dommes. But as both places were open to visitors, I might visit there again during a green light ans surprise Mistress. I also found 2 interesting pieces of furniture that might be nice. I added them to my favourite list.

I returned home and went a bit afk. When I returned Angelique and Flo were inworld. And slave Melissa joined us soon after. Also Ann dropped in. We talked for a while, then I played a greedy with Angelique, slave Flo and slave Melissa before we went to Mesmerize Dungeon. It was not really crowded and most of those present gathered around us. Angelique’s plastic panties were the subject we talked about. Angelique tried to switch the subject to the weather but she failed.

Sept 12th: Diomita at home and at Mesmerize Dungeon with Angelique, slave Flo and slave Melissa

We stayed about an hour at Mesmerize Dungeon, then we went to the BDSM Lifesyle Swingers Club. I tried to make Angelique dance for me but the brat found ways and excuses to avoid it. In the end slave Flo gave me a little show to please me. And that’s it already about a relaxed Saturday night.

Sept 12th: Diomita at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club with Angelique, slave Flo and slave Melissa

Sunday, September 13th, I went on a simploring tour in the morning. In the afternoon Mistress was back from her family trip. We had quite some to catch up with RL and SL and we did that at home and at Heavy Bondage Club. Mistress must have missed having me kneel at her feet because she grabbed my leash which is also the order for me to kneel. We spent not that much time at the club. Mistress took me to our loft skybox and I had to lick her and to get my fix. Of course I needed it already badly and at the same time Mistress takes care that I keep addicted.

Sept 13th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home and at Heavy Bondage Club

At night Mistress Jenny and I had 2 rounds of greedy with Angelique and slave Flo, then I had to leave for my RL. I returned shortly before midnight and Mistress and I had just some time together to catch up, Mistress had a nice evening and talked with slave Flo, slave Melissa and Angelique. They did enjoy for sure to have Mistress for themselves and that’s good :-). Mistress was tired after her family trip and all the driving, hence we went to bed not to late.

Art in Second Life 2020 (58) Milena Carbone’s art at Noir’Wen City

I got an invitation for a particular exhibition at Noir’Wen City, that opens officially on Wednesday September 23rd – “Plead guilty” by Milena Carbone.

It’s the second time that I came across Milena Carbone (mylena1992) and her art. I saw her exhibition “Agape in Pace” at The Itakos Project and Art Gallery in March 2020 (read here)

For Milena Carbone’s exhibtion “Plead guilty“, that extends all over Noir’Wen City, I got a notecard from Nieu (nieuwenhove) and later also from Violet Boa, which describes perfectly a tour not only of this but also of 3 other exhibitions by Milena. I decided to make writing a bit easier for me and to simply use it for my post along with my pictures and some comments.

“Plead guilty” by Milena Carbone above the streets of Noir’wen City

Milena Carbone (mylena1992) is a French artist and is in Second Life since mid 2019. She discovered its artistic potential and since then has devoted all her free time to creation, associating, as in real life, images and texts. By accepting the rule of the “double” (the real “I” and the virtual “I”), Milena Carbone includes herself in her artwork. Her creative process is iterative: some of her images inspire her stories and these stories modify the development of the image, which itself transforms the story.

We arrived at dawn in Noir’Wen City after a quick trip, and we have been immediately fascinated by the density and the harmony of this small regenerated and bustling industrial city of houses and restored buildings in its old factories which do host more than fifty galleries and stores of artists and fetish creators. It is here that Milena has taken over the urban and social space of this small town that has literally become the gallery for her exhibition.

Impressions of “Plead guilty” by Milena Carbone above the streets of Noir’wen City (1)

Going up from the harbor to the central place of Noir’Wen City, the artist has arranged along the streets an impressive gallery of portraits of the inhabitants of this unlikely town who find themselves caught in the act of their desires or dreams. We do not know if each of these portraits overlooking the streets is a wanted poster or the image of their prisoner identity. It is in any case the living beacon of a long apocalyptic poem that we can read as we go along.

Impressions of “Plead guilty” by Milena Carbone above the streets of Noir’wen City (2)

Along your way you find posts with some lines of a poem titled also “Plead guilty”. Above the posts you can click to get to a website from Milena Carbone which offers more background information about the 35 exhibits above the streets and the full poem. Here’s a direct link.

We then visited the church transformed for the exhibition into a place of art where Milena offers us the still unknown “sermon of Mahdi”, the fiction of a new Christ illustrated by paintings inspired by the Renaissance religious art and described in a book readable in SL and exhibited in the church.

Impressions of “The Sermon of Mahdi” by Milena Carbone at Noir’wen City Church

From the church, we reached the castle on the heights of the city, where we had a wonderful lesson about “Nude is Art” with forty original paintings of Milena dedicated to the beauty of the body and its grace, beyond eroticism.

Impressions of “Nude is art” by Milena Carbone at Noir’wen City Castle (1)

We end our visit by stopping at the art center of Noir’Wen to sit for a moment in the center of a virtuous circle of fourteen artworks which illustrate the “nine levels of love” linked with five humanist values. We can then slowly savor the deep pleasures of this new artwork of Milena Carbone, which will require us to plunge back into it to capture all the dimensions and emotions it arouses.

Impressions of “nine levels of love” by Milena Carbone at Noir’wen Art Center

While walking, we could have also seen the galleries of many artists such as Belice Benoir (Ars Amandi), Ambre Singh, Colm Midnight, Al Niekerk, Anaya Oneiro, Jos Loll, Ninatchka, Pask Wasp, KarolinaKatt, BobbiEden, Wyald Woolley … We also noted the presence of a museum of virtual arts with an exhibition on the history of the pink Dildo. But these places will be the occasion of a new visit.

It remains in us the fundamental question that Milena Carbone asks us through this new masterpiece: is it fair to plead guilty?

Impressions of “Nude is art” by Milena Carbone at Noir’wen City Castle (2)

With the opening of “Plead guilty” by Milena Carbone, also this years Noir’Wen city festival has started. It takes place in Noir’Wen city during 2-3 months at the end of the summer.
The Festival will revolve around an original artwork created especially by a selected artist, integrated into the city, with the possibility of using all possible types of visual arts and whose concept will aim to “give life” to the city, its inhabitants and its creators. And the artist of this year is Milena Carbone. There will be quite some events.

I visited Noir’Wen City the first time in April 2020 (read here). Noir’Wen City is a permanent fetish fair with over 50 inworld stores, it is a place to socialize, it is a place for the the arts with several galleries and lots of art exhibited in the streets. Noir’Wen City is a big city and as such offers a great background for pictures and it offers also rentals (luxurious villas). Thank you to Belice Benoir, to Nieu (NieuwenHove) and to the whole team as well as to Nathalie Monday and to Violet Boa who gave me a bit more information.

Simploring 2020 (64a) A thousand Windows – Addendum

After publishing my simploring report about “A Thousand Windows” yesterday (read here), I talked with Fred Hamilton (frecoi) and Lotus Mastroianni about their work. Lotus teased me and told me that I didn’t find the elvator to go up on the roofs. She laughed about her joke. And so did I. Nonetheless, I was tempted to go back to find a way up to the roofs.
I went there again at night and found a way to go up on the roofs … well with a little trick. On one roof I found 2 chairs. And I had a great view from up there … showing how close people live here behind their windows. I didn’t find an elevator though. So if anybody finds the elevator, please let me know.

Simploring 2020 (64) A Thousand Windows

I wasn’t really up for a simploring tour this morning, I just looked up scoop.it SL Desinations to check if there’s something new and interesting. The second newest entry was named “A Thousand Windows” and was just referring to a flickr picture of RioSisco Flickr group. RioSisco Productions that are Fred Hamilton (frecoi) and Lotus Mastroianni, the builders of many very exciting sims. The last one was “Summer in the City”, which I visted several times (read here)

I decided to go there on the spot. The landmark description gives an idea of the intention for this new installation: “There is a huge world out there, but what happens behind all those windows? what lives and worlds are hiding there? How many eyes peer into the fleeting reflections of so many lights? How life is going … obs….try night time

A Thousand Windows – overview

A Thousand Windows is built in a skybox belonging to an adult reagion. It is made up of just about 5,000 prims. After I landed at “A Thousand Windows” I first zoomed out to get an overiew. I made the overview from several angles so that you can see how the installation is made up. Once again Fred and Lotus used the possibilities of Second Life to create a real urban feeling. They do this by selecting perfect background textures and enhancing them.

Impressions of “A Thousand Windows” (1)

I begin exploring “A Thousand Windows” and was soon lost. Only the ground level and in some areas the 2nd and maybe 3rd level are accessible. There are many entrances, even with stairs, but they are just facade. Mainly your wander around on the ground level and you can look up. But you get really enough to see here!

Impressions of “A Thousand Windows” (2) – The 2 pictures on the left were taken 2 different windlights “midnight” and “midday”

It is a dirty town, waste and garbage tons and dirt is everywhere. Many raceways and advertisings distract your view. There are shops, restaurants, tea houses, barbers, food stores and all what you’d expect in a town. Some of them are accessible, others are just furnished to provide the 3D feeling. The main upside of all thes advertisings is that they offer orientation. Getting lost in all the passages and backyards I went countless times to the same spots … the advertisings gave me a bit of orientation.

Impressions of “A Thousand Windows” (3) – some corners are really not inviting to stay long

A Thousand Windows” … Well I didn’t count but there might be a thousand windows, at least on the background (I guess a bit less though). The background is not just a texture. Fred and Lotus enhanced it with mesh objects, mainly drying clothes, balconies and awnings. And you find also many windows inside of the town at higher floors of the buildings. A few windows on lower floors are opened and you can look inside. Again these rooms are furnished for the effect but not accessible.

Impressions of “A Thousand Windows” (4) – looking inside

I managed to get beind the facade of one building and to get a view from inside of a flat to the town. That’s funny at least for the picture where you can see me behind the window.

Impressions of “A Thousand Windows” (5)

As mentioned exploring “A Thousand Windows” is mainly done by wandering on the ground level and by looking at all the different stores and details. You get into very dirty backyards, places you wouldn’t feel safe at all (at least I would never go to such places in RL!). But exploring it and seeing all the little details is great fun.

Impressions of “A Thousand Windows” (6)

Of course I also turned the windlight to “midnight” and yes, it does change the experience a lot. I can only recommend to try that. But for taking pictures that provide an impression of what you can see here, the daylight is simply better – for the atmosphere “midnight” is the better choice.

I’m pretty sure that this visit to “A Thousand Windows” was just a first peek at it for me and I will return to it. Once again Fred and Lotus created a masterpiece of creativity. Thank you a lot!

slave Melissa – Maurer’s schiava

Mistress Jenny met Melissa (MelissaRLV) on June 10th, 2020. Melissa was wearing cuffs and held the keys for them. She told Mistress Jenny that none has touched them for months. Melissa has the attitude not to cheat and uses only Marine’s RLV viewer. That prevents her pretty well from even thinking about cheating as the effort would be higher than just unchecking RLV and a relog. In her Second Life before she had been able to escape every time she got into trouble although it might have taken some time. But that all changed for her the day she met Mistress Jenny.

Melissa gave Mistress Jenny her keys – and from that day on she has been with us. Mistress Jenny and I know how to set the RR cuffs to make it impossible to get out of them without cheating. We treated Melissa as ours, we used her as our bondage toy, we restricted her tightly some days and relaxed the restrictions on other days, but she was permanently leashed and under our full control. After a few weeks, Melissa came to terms with her new situation and finally gave up any plans or thoughts of escape. The effect of the Stockholm syndrome kicked in and she submitted more and more from her own will.

Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Melissa June 14th and Aug 19th

Melissa likes bondage, encasement in rubber and restrictions, she loves to be helpless. Although sex is not her main focus in SL, she likes being exposed, helplessly tied up, dressed up in high heels and shortest skirts or fully encased in latex or rubber. Melissa is a quiet girl, polite, answering when asked but never pushy. It became her main desire making her owners happy, an attitude we will take advantage off.

slave Melissa – Maurer’s schiava

slave Melissa is from Italy, our first slave from this country. We began Melissa’s trial on August 22nd and collared her Wednesday, September 9th, as Maurer’s schiava (Italian for Maurer’s slave). Welcome to the family, slave Melissa.

Art in Second Life 2020 (57) DixMix Gallery September/October 2020

I got an invite from Violet Boa to attend the opening of the new DixMix Gallery, which was yesterday, September 19th. As I have other activities in Second Life at night, I couldn’t attend and visited today.

The “new” DixMix Gallery? I didn’t know the old one nor did I have come across DixMix Source, who onws the gallery, before.

Six month ago Dixmix convinced his friend and builder Megan Prumier to build a brand-new Gallery. Everything started with a drawing, became a 3D model and step by step, prim after prim, all has been thought and built to show pictures in the best way and make visitors catch that important feeling. The new gallery has the same surface as the old one, but it looks bigger because space is used differently. On the lower floor are three Photography Gallery Rooms dedicated to three very important friends of Dixmix Source: Amona, Abby and Amalfia (R.I.P.)” (taken from a notecard I got from Violet Boa)

The new DixMix Gallery from outside and first impressions from inside

Megan Prumier is a multimedia artist and very active builder. She’s in Second Life for more than 10 yers. Her skills are extended on the field of photography, mostly portraits on modern, minimal and even surreal Scenes. I did see quite a lot of Megan Prumier’s work already, mostly sims she built or was involved in. Just lately I saw Kiyori (read here) and Voodoo Land (read here). I saw Megan’s art last time at La Maison d’Aneli in Septmber 2019 (read here).

DixMix Source is from Brussels Belgium and is in Second Life for almost 14 years. He always had a gallery. He dscribes himself as “artist, photographer, director, musician and more

The DixMix Gallery has several areas. In the middle of the room is a large party space. There shall be a party every Saturday night. Adjacent to the party zone are the above mentioned 3 exhibtion rooms. The party zone itself is decorated with Megan Prumier’s art and has an open view into the 3 exhibition rooms. On the 2nd foor is a “chill out” area with a café and places to sit and meet surrounded by art of Mistero Hifeng. On the 2nd floor are 2 more exhibtion rooms. One showcases the art of Megan Prumier and of various other artists, one is didicated to DixMix Source’s own work.

Impressions of DixMix Gallery chill-out area (left pictures) / Megan Prumier’s art around the party area

I started my visit in the room Amona, which feature currently the art of Maloe Vansant. Maloe Vansant joined Second Life in 2007, a new world for her who had never played games or joined any social network site:
After creating little Maloe, my barbie doll, my pixel soul, I discovered the possibility of making snapshots and I started to make a graphic diary of Maloe’s journey in Second Life, showing the emotions she experienced in this pixel world. I think I succeeded in doing this by using some post processing in Photoshop. I am not a woman of many words, I try to express myself, my feelings, my passion and probably my dark side through my pictures.“

Maloe Vansant at DixMix Gallery September/October 2020

Maloe says about her exhibition at DixMix GalleryI let the visitor make his own story about them, for me, they thrive on my emotions and feelings of that moment.” Enough said, I think.

The room Amalfia features the art of Edie Horngold. It is the first time I came across Edie Horngold and I couldn’t find much about her. She’s in Second Life for over 11 years and began showing her art three years ago supported and encouraged by DixMix Source. Her pictures are quite artful, mostly showing beautiful female avatars or their faces. Edie adds something artful to them, something that changes the picture and gives it a new meaning, a new story.

Edie Horngold at DixMix Gallery September/October 2020

Cecilia Nansen’s work is shown in the room “Abby”. Cecilia Nansen joined Second Life over ten years ago, but took a long break from it. She returned four years ago and found her passion for pictures and learned how to process them. Cecilia Nansen and Maloe Vansant are close friends. I saw the exhibtion “Phenomenal Women” that both created together, just a months ago at at Itakos Project and Art Gallery (read here).

Cecilia Nansen at DixMix Gallery September/October 2020

Cecilia’s pictures are strictly held in black and white. They show erotic scenes mainly related to BDSM yet very stylish and not at all explicit. In her pictures Cecilia plays with light and shadow to highlight just parts. You can spin your own story around the scenes – highly erotic.

Megan Prumier’s room on the 2nd floor features her own art and some other artists like Bamboo Barnes, ariel Brearly and Del May.

Megan Prumier and other artists at DixMix Gallery September/October 2020

In the center of Megan Prumier’s room on the 2nd floor you find a virtine with an animated dancing figure. I did recognize it immediately as one of Theda Tammas dancers. I saw them at La Maison d’Aneli this summer (read here). Another scene of Theda Tammas is displayed in the center of DixMix Source own room on the 2nd floor. DixMix makes his exhibits on mesh linen clothes. This provides a 3D effect that I never saw before so far, very intriguing.

Theda Tammas will have an exhibition at DixMix Gallery, opening September 26th, in a seperate skybox called “Womb”. The teleporter is right where you land at the gallery but it is not yet opened.

That’s all about the new DixMix Gallery. It has become a longer entry and I shortened it already quite a lot. There is more information available on the website of the DixMix Gallery.

Thank you Dixmix for providing and curating the gallery, thank you Megan for building it and for contributing at it and thank you Violet for the hint and the information folder. I enjoyed my first visit to the new DixMix Gallery.
