Simploring 2019 (42) Two sides of Japan – Tokyo Street and Umi

Lately I saw pictures of Tokyo Street on scoop.it SL Destinations several times and I read a bit more about it in some blogs. I learned that Tokyo Street is part of a (moderate) sim created by Paradox Ivory. It’s located on a seperate platform in 2.000m altitude. On the ground level of the same sim is a Japanese costal village named Umi.

Paradox Ivory says about herself that she’s a dreamer, a prim addict and a sim designer. In her picks I found a comment about Hinansho, a Japanese sim that I visited last year (see Simploring 2018 (98) Hinansho): “I love this Sim, its one that has inspired me since I first visted“.
And I found pick about SSOC, another sim that I have visited before (see Simploring 2017 (78) A Metropolis in Second Life): “Another Amazing Sim that helped inspire me before I even realized I wanted to create my own

Impressions of Tokyo Street (1)

In the landmark profile Tokyo Street is described as follows: “As the sun goes down the streets come alive. Nothing sleeps in the city. Enjoy a walk through lantern lit streets or take in some tasty street food while you enjoy the unique atmosphere of this densly packed tiny Tokyo city.”
I started my simploring at Tokyo Street using the teleport to Subway Entrance NW.

Impressions of Tokyo Street (2)

It is an amazing place to visit. When you leave the subway station you enter a small street lit by lanterns, full of life, restaurants, shops and clubs. It really looks busy and it looks how I expect Japan to be (I never was there in RL). It is really packed full with details and ittook some time to load the textures but it was worth the time!
Once I left this area, I entered what a large town with skyscrapers, some smaller buildings which seemed to be leftovers from a long time ago. The city has everything, a police station, a train station, parks, a fair, many shops and restaurants and another area with small streets with a second subway station Entrance NE.

Impressions of Tokyo Street (3)

The city is really impressive and I took many pictures. I zoomed out to get an impressions of its size. It feel way bigger inside than it is actually. I love all the details. Many shops and buildings are furnishedand you can walk in and sit down. Tokyo Street is a further development of SSOC with a touch of Hinansho. Great!

Impressions of Umi (1)

I continued my simploring tour visiting Umi. What a contrast! And yet it is still Japan. Umi is a fisher village. It has two rows of houses arranged in a half circle. While one row nestles up against a huge hill, the second row faces the see and every house as sea view and most a pier for small boats. Again I enjoyed the many details. The houses are small, they are all furnished and every square inch is used (just as I picture Japan to be).

Impressions of Umi (2)

I explored almost every house, I just left out 4 houses that were marked as private residences. After visiting Tokyo Street I enjoyed the peacefulness of Umi. But there’s more. I dared to climb the hill, I enjoyed the view from the radio tower on the top ofthe hill and I disovered a nice fisherman hut at the other side of Umi.

Impressions of Umi (3)

My short visit to Japan was impressive. Having these 2 places with it’s connecting and opposing elements combined in one sim is really outstanding. I recommend that you switch on your sounds to hear the noise of Tokyo Street and the peace of Umi.

There’s so much to see, so many details to discover that time really flew by.
Thank you Paradox Ivory for sharing your sim with the public. I really enjoyed my visit to Japan.

Diary 2019 (44) March 22nd/23rd From green to red

When I met with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon on Friday, March 23rd, she was in a quite dominant mood. I first had to add the collarof the elegance set in addition to my sub collar. Mistress locked it, left the leys out and restricted me from taking the keys.
Then we went to club Domme a Domme where we talked and caught up with our mutual news. And while we were there, Mistress ordered me to wear my wrist cuffs of the elegance set and she locked them as well and left the keys out. The collar as well as the cuffs were both well hidden by the dress I was wearing – yet I knew about it.
When we returned home, Mistress changed my hairstyle and made two pigtails into my hair, making me look like a girlie and she forbid me to change it (no picture!).

At night and before we went down to attend our regular Friday night, Mistress asked me if I’d like to keep the pigtails. Of course I didn’t want to be seen like this and she knew beforehand. The price for getting them offwas high though. Firstly Mistress replaced my sub collar with the heavier Ehesklavin collar thus starting a red light just soon after my green light had ended 2 days before. And secondly she cut the pigtails off and with it quite some of my hair *sighs*.

March 22nd: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club Domme a Domme / Mistress Jenny, Diomita and slave Flo at our Friday night party

Fitting to the date and at least to the weather I had that day in RL, Virgo set the theme of the Friday night party: “Spring”. Of course I wore something more “Spring-ish” and my cuffs and the collar were showing. Mistress Jenny unlocked the extra collar of the elegance set and took it off. The party was well attended and we had fun starting into the weekend. And I was able to blind out the upcoming red light.

Saturday afternoon, March 23rd, Mistress Jenny and I spent our time at club Domme a Domme. Mistress kept on teasing me and frankly enjoyed her power and I could slowly settle in into the red light.
At night I first made a simploring tour, then slave sappy came inworld. We had lost her at club DeLust a few days ago after she crashed. I brought her home and continued making her familiar with her situation as our slave, in particular I finally added chastity belt. We got visits from Oh (ooohhh000) and from Arka (arkahelle janus)

March 23rd: Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin Diomita at club Domme a Domme / Diomitaat home with slave sappy and Arka

Then slave Flo showed up. slave Flo got a new hood and needed to set it up and setting it up took longer than expected, but it was worth the effort. I took slave sappy and slave Flo to Mesmerize Dungeon where slave slut cecy joined us and was my seat. I had fun relaxing ater setting up slave Flo and I played a bit with the new hood  until she and slave sappy had to leave. I leashed slave sappy at the porch of our house, and brought slut cecy back to Psi’s realm.

March 23rd: Diomita with slave Flo and slavesappy at home / Diomita with slave Flo, slave slut cecy and slave sappy at Mesmerize Dungeon

And finally I met with Mistress Jenny after I was alone again and we ended Saturday where we began it, at club Domme a Domme.

Diary 2019 (43) March 20th/21st Ending my extra green light

Wednesday, March 20th, I met with Jenny in the afternoon for an hour. We went to our loft to catch up with our mutual news. I intended to make this green light relaxing for Jenny. She had granted it as a little extra on the occasion of her 11th rezzday – and it was relaxed, although as we had not that much time together due to our RL. And although I had in mind to end my green light the next day, I ended it a day early. It felt simply right.

March 20th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at our loft / Diomita, Aangelique and slave Flo at Heavy Bondage Club

At night, Mistress wasn’t inworld again due to her RL, I spend some time with Angelique at Heavy Bondage club. She had once again created a great new outfit, this time in black and yellow. I did assume that she would get some attention, some praise for it, but most of the present people at Heavy Bondage Club must have been absent. slave Flo joined us at Heavy Bondage Club. What a coincidence, that I had coloured her body also in yellow the night before.

As it was that quiet at the club we went home and had just one game of greedy before Angelique had to leave for bed. I took slave Flo to Psi’s realm afterwards.

March 20th: Diomita with slave Flo at Psi’s realm having some fun with random slaves

Once again, Psi’s realm turned out to be a place of having a bit of “old fashioned” Second Life D/s fun. There was a “poor” slave, fully wrapped in latex, suspended from the ceiling. Due to what reason ever she steadily switched between haning upside down and downside up, as slave Flo expressed it “like a wind machine spreading the scent of latex”. I had mercy with the latex slave and quickly built a podest for her to stand on – and I had fun trying out taking it away and placing it again. And of course I initiated some main chat with it.
It didn’t take long and I had another random slave at my leash in addition to slave Flo. We spent almost an hour at Psi’s realm and I had fun.

Thursday afernoon, March 21st, Mistress Jenny and I had an hour just for us, we talked at home, exchanged our mutual news, then went to club Domme a Domme and to Puerto Esclava. We just had a nice relaxing time, as it should be.

March 21st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home and at Puerto Esclava

At night slave Flo and Angelique were present and they finally had the opportunity to give Jenny her rezzday spanks. It’s a funny ritual that we have ever since we joined Second Life – and the spanks become more and more with each year.

March 21st: Angelique and slave Flo giving Mistress Jenny her belated rezzday spanks

Angelique had to leave and Mistress Jenny and I went to Psi’s realn with slave Flo, where slave slut cecy joined us soon after. We had fun at Psi’s teasing slave slut cecy and watching the crowd. One of the slaves from the night before, Kim, came by and she began to tease slave Flo with sticking her cute behind almost into slave Flo’s face. Later I had Kim tied up at my feet and tried to teach her how to lick my heels properly (which is not as easy as you might think *winks*). We had an entertaining time at Psi’s realm.

March 21st at Psi’s realm: Mistress Jenny, Diomita, slave Flo, slave slut and Kim

Mistress Jenny and I went to club Domme a Domme and to club DeLust afterwards and chilled a bit.

Simploring 2019 (41) The Outer Garden

I made a short simploring tour to “The Outer Garden” on Wednesday, March 20th. I came across it once again by scoop.it SL Destinations. And I’m for sure not the first one writing about “The Outer Garden“. Actually there’re many blogs that had reported about it. But for me it was new :-).

The Outer Garden exists since New Year Day 2015 and it is steadily developing and changing as far as I understood. The sim is owned and created by bisou Dexler. bisou runs an own blog about The Outer Garden.

Impressions of The Outer Garden (1) – Traveling Carnival

The Outer Garden is pure fantasy, a white world. It’s filled with art objects and full of light effects. The lateast addition to is is named “Traveling Carnival“. You get there when you use the teleporter, that is interagted into a mirror, right at the landing spot. Of course it is also a white world. Admist a sea of white flowers and snow crystals in the air is a large Venetian gondel and in the background you can see a building and a door submerged it light. Of course I went there and when I reached the door .. I fall down through the ground to the Ground level.

Impressions of The Outer Garden (2)

During my journey to the ground level I passed a full train arranged on a cloud (don’t miss it). On the ground level, there’s a lot to discover. You see trees and elements of a fair appear through the fog that mostly covers the ground, through light rays, flying fishes, snow flakes. Some objects are flying, others are on the ground.

Impressions of The Outer Garden (3)

There’re places to sit and have fun, and there’re a lot of motives for taking pictures. The Outer Garden is, in my eyes, pure surreal art, with a strong touch of fairyland.
Most of the time, I didn’t change the windlight setting and hence the pictures I took are kept in white colours. But I saw other reports, where the windlight setting was changed and in the end of my visit, I tried that myself – what a difference! The fog on the ground is water and the whole scenery changes a lot. There must be endless possiblities and angles for taking pictures at this beautiful fantasy spot.

Impressions of The Outer Garden (4)

Thank you bisou Dexler for creating this corner of Second Life. I strongly intend to come back and try out more settings for my viewer. I enjoyed my first short visit lot.

Simploring 2019 (40) La Maison D’Aneli in April

I got a hint from Maddy (Magda Schmidtzau) about the upcoming exhibtion at La Maison D’Aneli. It opened on April 3rd and I visited on March 31st while Aneli was still working. The exhibtion shows the art from Bachi Cheng, Calypso Applewyhte, Madga Schmidtzau, RazorZ and Aneli Abeyante herself and an installation from Iono Allen & Theda Tammas. In the entrance hall there’s a motorshow presented by Willem Koba.

La Maison D’Aneli in April 2019 – Willem Koba Motorshow

Willem Koba is in Second Life for almost 12 years. He makes animated textures and mesh objects and runs a shop on the marketplace. At La Maison D’Aneli you see some of his motor vehicles in the entrance area.

La Maison D’Aneli in April 2019 – Aneli Abeyante

I started my visit looking at the room with the art from Aneli Abeytante, who’s the owner and curator of La Maison D’Aneli. Looking at her steadily rotating and colour changing geometric objects, it’s no surprise, that Aneli writes about herself: “I love geometry and mathematics. So after much practice, I managed to clear structures and shapes. In reality I practice painting, I do not have precise style but I always seek harmonization.”

La Maison D’Aneli in April 2019 – Calypso Applewhyte

Calypso Applewhyte is a SL Photographer from France, who joined SL in 2010. Her focus is the avatar itself as a means of expression to transport emotions. She processes her pictures with Photoshop. The result is really impressive!

Maddy (Magda Schmidtzau), who gave me the hint for the early visit, joined SL in 2009. She’s a passionate photographer in RL and SL. In SL she’s always open to new possibilities and experiments, she tries to convey the magic that i see. At La Maison D’Aneli most of her exhibits show portraits and pictures of avatars, and like Calypso her pictures transport a lot of emotions . It’s intriguing looking at them and to picture a story around what you see.

La Maison D’Aneli in April 2019 – Maddy (Magda Schmidtzau)

RazorZ is in Second Life since 2010. He’s a builder and scripter and he makes sculptures. Like Willem Koba he runs his own store at the marketplace. At La Maison D’Aneli his exhibition space is full of very colourful pictures. I think these pictures were taken in RL and processed to enhance the colourfulness quite exterme. This way the pictures are real eye candies and you see the underlying picture only on a second glance. In his section at La Maison D’Aneli are also some sculptures, again colourful pieces. It’s hard to decide where to look at first.

La Maison D’Aneli in April 2019 – RazorZ

Sofi (Bachi Cheng) is an artist painter and designer from France in RL & SL. He says himself about his art: “I love to paint Moments. Moments of life, Moments of Love, Moments so deep that you never want to forget them, Moments at the edge of orgasm or despair, just life like we ought to live it, plainly. Let me take you in the core of my Art.”
The pictures exhibited at La Maison D’Aneli are painted in RL and uploaded to SL. Sofi (Bachi Cheng) has an own website showing either stylised single persons or groups. Bachi’s style is unique.

La Maison D’Aneli in April 2019 – Sofi (Bachi Cheng)

Last but not least one room at La Maison D’Aneli shows an installaion from Iono Allen & Theda Tammas named “Samurai”. You enter the room through a Japanese gateway. In the room itself you can sit on hoovering cusions and watch a film, Samurei that is shown on all walls of the room allowing you to full dive into it. The film was made with Second Life and is about 20 minutes long. Quite fascinating what you can make with Second Life! In the room is also an animated avatar dancing. Just have a look :-).
Theda Tammas is in SL amost for 12 years. She has had already some exhibtions of her work and it is not the first time that I see an installation of her (see Choreography of a Tortured Soul and Dissected Soul).
Iono Allen is also almost 12 years in SL and from his profile I conclude that his passion are making films. He has some links to films about Theda’s former installation in his profile, just look it up. He made the fil “Samurai”, that is shown in the installation. The film can be seen also on vimeo here.

La Maison D’Aneli in April 2019 – Iono Allen & Theda Tammas “Samurai”

La Maison D’Aneli is owned by Aneli Abeyante. Through her gallery she brings together all forms of creativity in RL and SL and the featured artists come from around the globe. Aneli’s intention is to “put her gallery in the service of artists, so that the world can be better, exchanges and meetings probably contribute even though it seems to be particles.”

Thank you Aneli for another great exhibtion and thank you to all artists. Enjoy your visit – I did.

Diary 2019 (42) March 19th – Jenny’s rezzday inworld

Tuesday, March 19th, marked Jenny’s 11th rezzday (see also Mistress Jenny’s 11th rezzday). I met with Jenny in the afternoon and she got her rezzday spanks.

March 19th, Jenny’s 11th rezzday: Diomita giving Jenny her rezzday spanks

Then we went to our house to see our newest victim, slave sappy (Durham Novaland). It was about time test her talents and we went to our office for that. I admit she did quite well and her moans and begging for more pleased Jenny and me. For right now we decided to keep her.

March 19th: Diomita and Jenny testing the talents of our newest vicitim slave sappy

Jenny’s and my time in the afternoon went over way to quickly in particular as Jenny couldn’t be inworld at night. I had a quiet and relaxed night.
I met Angelique at “The Apostasy”. She had restarted dusting there and we talked about an hour about the dusting, the Apostasy and her desires, about the community at “The Apostasy” and about the differences between dusting there and at home. Before Angelique had to leave we returned home and had a few rounds of greedy.

March 19th, a quiet but varied night: Diomita and Angelique at The Apostasy / Diomita with slave Flo at club Domme a Domme / with Oh (ooohhh000) / Diomita, Argi and slave Flo at home

slave Flo came inworld shortly after Angelique left and I first changed the colour of her body as St.Patricks day was really over. I selected a bright yellow. Then I took slave Flo with me to club Domme a Domme, where she was a comfy chair for me while chatting and watching the scene. Oh (ooohhh000), who had visited our home latelycame by and said hello. slave Flo was fascinated by her corset gown.
And then Argi showed up shortly. Argi had to fight with lag that night, hence we went home and Argi could hug slave Flo and me.
And that’s it about Tuesday,

Simploring 2019 (39) Baroqued Orientilika

For my short simploring tour on Monday, March 18th, I picked Baroqued Orientilika from scoop.it SL Destinations mostly because that there was no information about the place, just a picture and Japanese characters.

Impressions of Baroqued Orientilika – Shopping in Japan (1)

Baroqued Orientilika is owned by Kamo. It is a complex of 8 identical 3 stories Japanese buildings arranged in 2 rows with 4 buildings each. The buildings are surrounded by an alley of cherry trees on 2 sides, by altars, buddhas, arches and statues of elefants on one side, and on one side by an entrance building with 2 high rise temples on each side. It’s an impressive complex – held mostly in red and very Japanese.

And what is it about? It’s shopping mall, a place to take pictures, an a place to meet. I don’t know if it is a temporary event mall or if it is a permanent mall, I assume it’s open for a limited time.

Impressions of Baroqued Orientilika – Shopping in Japan (2)

The shops are only on the ground level and they are all decorated very well and not just vendors. There are a lot shop spaces that are fill with photo scenes for taking solo pictures or couple pictures within a 3D environment. I didn’t count them, but there’re quite a few.

Last but not least, it’s fun to explore what’s around the 8 buildings, the many temples and the elephants. There’re also some possibilities to sit and chat (with your friends after shopping *winks*) and the cherry alley is really nice and inviting for taking pictures.

Impressions of Baroqued Orientilika – Shopping in Japan (3
))

As I can’t read nor speak Japanese, I couldn’t find out more about Baroqued Orientilika. But it is refreshing different to the shopping malls, that I saw in Second Life so for. Have a look yourself 🙂

Dairy 2019 (41) March 17th/18th Enjoying a relaxed green light

Sunday, March 17th, was a quiet day. I was inworld several times, but none of the family was present and I knew that Jenny was prevented to get online due to her RL. Hence I decided to visit a gallery (Simploring 2019 (36) Second Life Blue by WuWai Chun).
At night it became a bit more busy and surprising as well. First Arka (Arkahelle Janus) came inworld and visited her old home. Arka was our sub back in 2012 and she shows up very rarely and takes long breaks of Second Life. Nonetheless it’s nice to stay in touch.
We also got another (submissive) visitor, Chrstin (Christinvega), who once attended our party in November last year. She can’t remember anymore who brought her to the party, which gave reason for some banter. Christin had been looking around at our homeplace several times and I spoke to her once about a week before. Sunday afternoon, she joined Jenny, Arka , slave Flo and me at our house for a short while.

March 17th at home: Arka (Arkahelle Janus), Chrstin (Christinvega), Diomita, Jenny and slave Flo

As Jenny had a busy Sunday RL we just had a round of greedy with slave Flo, after Arka and Christin had left. Then Jenny and I retreated to our skybox and we had some time of intimate togetherness (no pictures *winks*). We went to bed early.

Monday, March 18th, I had a short simploring tour in the afternoon once again and visited a Japanese shopping event (Simploring 2019 (37) Baroqued).

At night I took my property Jenny to Heavy Bondage Club. We met slave kelly there and she told us her latest news. She’s onwed again, but poor slave kelly is allowed run around dressed and unrestricted. What a decline of attitudes! slave Flo and slave slut cecy joined us shortly after at Heavy Bondage Club, but it was barely possible to have a private group chat as lag was too high.

March 18th at home: Diomita and Jenny watching slave Flo spoiling her sister slave slut cecy

Therefore I took Jenny and the slaves home to our Stonehaven patio, where Jenny and I relaxed watching slave slut cecy being licked by slave Flo. It was highly predictable that slut cecy promised to do everything for being allowed to cum in SL and RL – this time she promised slave Flo that she will dust for 30 days *coughs*. Anyway, the slaves did entertain us well.

And that’s it once again for the diary.

Simploring 2019 (38) Illicit Sculpture

I came across Illicit Sculpture by scoop.it SL Destinations once again. Illicit Sculpture is a new gallery space in Second Life owned by Sweet Bliss (evedelombre), she is also the curator and the first exhibition is about her art.

illicit Sculpture – the entrance to the gallery

You can grab an information notecard at the entrance of the gallery. In It you find more about Sweet Bliss and her intentions with the gallery. It touched me, because if shows how important Second Life and it’s possibilities is for some of it’s residents.

illicit Sculpture – Exhibition catalouge

I first joined Second Life back in 2007 as Morbid Emor. Since then I have had various incarnations in this wonderful pixel-filled world. Second Life has been a lifeline to me at many points over the past 12 years. I am disabled, queer and mentally ill and Second Life enables me to be and to experience things in a totally unique way free from real world restrictions.
This current endeavour, the Illicit Sculpture Gallery, is purely to enable me and others like me to express ourselves free from the constraints of the “real world”. I would never be in a position to own my own art gallery in real life.
The gallery aims to be free for all and will be maintained via any donations received to pay for Linden Lab fees. Thank you very much for your interest in the gallery. If you are an artist who would like to exhibit your work, please contact the gallery

Defiant (acrylic on canvas) (upper left) / Disdain (mixed media) (upper middle) / Untitled (monotype print) (lower left) / Loss (acrylic on canvas) (lower middle) / Journey (digital photography) (lower right) / Self-Portrait (digital 3D imagery) (right side)

Going further inside there’s adesk where you can donate and where you can grab a catalogue. The catalogue explains the background of each picture. It’s a restrospective of Sweet’s last 12 years, an achknowledgement of the supportshe received with the virtual world of Second Life
Her art is impressing, comprises different styles and techniques, and the texts provided by the catalogue gives each piece a particular meaning.

illicit Sculpture – Sweet Bliss: A Dangerous Dozen

The exhibtion is opened until April 19th.

Thank you Sweet for providing the place for the art. Good Luck with the new gallery!

Simploring 2019 (37) Second Life Blue by WuWai Chun

Recently I visited Michiel Bechir’s exhibition at Lyric Art Gallery (read here). He gave me an hint and pointed me to an exhibition at LA Gallery called Second Life Blue – and I went there Sunday, March 17th.

Impressions of “Second Life Blue” by WuWai Chun (1)

The exhibition “Second Life Blue” by WuWai Chun is located on the 2nd floor of the gallery. You enter the exhibition through a vestibule with an explanatory text about the pictures and about a charity organisation named Feed a smile, Live and Learn in Kenya”.
When you click on the picture a menu comes up. Select “Info” and you will see where the picture was taken and get a link to Flickr with the rawcap and more information. You can also buy the exhibited pictures. All proceeds from the sale of images go 100 % to the NGO “Feed a smile, Live and Learn in Kenya

Impressions of “Second Life Blue” by WuWai Chun (2)

In the vestibul are 3 pictures, 2 monochrome and 1 coloured picture. The exhibition “Second Life Blue” itself starts in the next room and contains 12 pictures. As the name implies the exhibition area is submerged in dark blue light and the pictures are also blue-ish. All show art (the one on the poster is from Mistero Hifeng), people or landscapes. The images are processed from snapshots taken in Second Life and as described before you can look up where the rawcap was taken and you can see the rawcap itself.

Impressions of “Second Life Blue” by WuWai Chun (3)

No surprise that the artist, WuWai Chun, describes herself as a creative reporter in Second Life. The exhibition is a fitting selection of pictures and each of them invites you to take a closer look at it. I appreciated that WuWai gave away the places itself and that you could see the difference between the rawcap and the artful result. My personal favourite was nonetheless a monochrome (unprocessed) picture exhibited in the vestibule, showing a girl standing more or less puzzled in front of an urinal.

Thank you WuWai for the nice collection of your images and thank you Fuyuko ‘冬子’ Amano (wintergeist) for providing the LA gallery.
