Simploring 2018 (39) Cake

Lately I picked most of my destinations for my simploring tours from scoop.it SL Destinations. Today, Thursday, April 26th, I came across “Cake“, which led me to another blog about exploring Second Life places “AJ’s Second Life – Travel Guide” and from there I got the landmark to Cake.

Impressions of Cake (1)

Actually Cake is a corner parcel of Cerveza Island and owned by AJ (anyajurelle), who writes the above mentioned blog. AJ wrote about her place, that is was created with photographers, bloggers and vloggers in mind. The recommended Windlight setting is “Fairy Dark Blue (Paulina)”. She also remarks that Cake is not an enormus place, but that there’s a lot to explore and photograph. And I can tell, she’s right!
Cake is a paradies for photographers. I used the recommended Windlight setting, which provides a colourful bright light with a touch into dark blue. AJ placed some art decorations on her sim, she placed some nice places to sit and cuddle here and there, she added bright and green meadows and trees. Exploring Cake feels like entering a little world of its own, a world of light and peace where you can dream and let your mind wander.

Impressions of Cake (2) – lower right picture shows AJ (anyajurelle)

Outstanding pieces of art are the big chess game on the edge of the parcel, the colourful big butterflies at the center, the unicorn, the circle of fairies, the piano with the harp, the old gondolas from a ferris wheel, the big sculpture of arms with a finger that points up into the sky … and many more. Within half an hour I took dozens of pictures. Lovely!

Impressions of Cake (3)

I met AJ at her place and we had a short chat. She told me that she had just opened Cake and that everybody is welcome to visit. I did enjoy my visit a lot. Thank you AJ (anyajurelle) for building this place and for opening it to the public. I like how you displayed art within a dream world. You certainly succeeded in creating a place for photographers, bloggers and vloggers.
To get a notecard about Cake touch the magic lamp close to the landing point with the hoover text “Group joiner”

I added “AJ’s Second Life – Travel Guide” to the Active blogs link list on the right.

Simploring 2018 (38) Starry’s Steampunk Prison

As I already reported in yesterday’s diary post (read here) we visited Starry’s (Starbright Wingtips) Steampunk Prison Tuesday night, April 24th.
I never saw a Steampunk prison before and I discovered Steampunk itself just last year when I visited New Babbage the first time (read here). Starry’s prison is at the Adult Sex Hub, Passion bay. The Adult Sex Hub is part of the Freedom Continent (read my blog about it here).

Starting our tour at Starry’s Steampunk Prison

But back to the Steampunk prison. Starry herself gave us, Mistress Jenny, slave Flo, Anne and myself a full tour. Anne spent already a 5 hour sentence at the prison and was excited about the good roleplay they have there, so she didn’t need the full tour, but I assume she also got some new impressions.

I will try something new in this post and will take you on our tour through the prison. I made an excerpt of our main chat and added numbers on the lines. The numbers correspond with the numbers in the pictures. This way you get the same tour, that we got from Starry. Enjoy the tour.

Thank you for the tour, Starry!

Simploring 2018 (37) I am [SL] Amsterdam

My destination for another simploring tour on Monday, April 23rd, was “I am [SL] Amsterdam“, which I found following the blog “The Second Life Tourist“. Isabella Coletti (Belladochas Minoptra) reported about “I am [SL] Amsterdam” in her blog April 21st.

I am [SL] Amsterdam – overview

I am [SL] Amsterdam” is a homestead sim owned by inkie Loudwater. She says about herself that she’s Second Life shop and blogaholic and she writes about Second Life Fashion, Home & Garden and Music in her blog Pixel Styles (older posts are in a seperate blog here).

I am [SL] Amsterdam – Impressions (1)

I am [SL] Amsterdam” is, no surprise, inspired by the city of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. inkie told me that the name of her homestead refers to a big sign in Amsterdam “I amsterdam”. I am [SL] Amsterdam” consists of a few buildings, streets and one of the typical canals in the center and is surrounded by green flat land and water.
On the green land you find a broken lighthouse, a piece that I saw quite often in the meanwhile and that is obviously quite popular in SL. There’re are also some modern wind mills and an old wind mill. The ground floor of the old wind mill is used as a class room.

I am [SL] Amsterdam – Impressions (2)

I am [SL] Amsterdam – Impressions (3)

The little center of “I am [SL] Amsterdam” offers a lot to discover inside, like a fitness studio or a car shop or a dirty backyard. Just what you’d expect in a city. At the waterfront you find two houseboats, also typical for the Netherlands. I like the setting of the city surrounded by the green meadows, I think that’s particular and provides the dutch touch.
inkie told me that she changes her sim according to the season, so depending on the time of your visit you might see something a bit different.

I am [SL] Amsterdam – Impressions (4)

I am [SL] Amsterdam” is a nice and peaceful place. It provides a lot of views and backgrounds for pictures and it is fun to explore. Thank you inkie for providing your sim to the public. I did enjoy my visit.

Simploring 2018 (36) Untitled by Storm Septimus

I picked my simploring destination from scoop.it SL Destinations again and visited “Untitled“, an installation by Storm Septimus at LEA28.

Untiteled by Storm Septimus

Untitled is a particular piece of art, dark and somehow depressing but it also has elements of hope. Upon landing I strongly recommend to grab a notecard in order to understand the background of “Untiteled“. Storm explains why there’s no name for this installation and how it was built as a process, adding piece by piece what came into Strom’s mind:
I wanted to highlight the emotional effects of disability. I know I could have gone so many ways with that, however at the time I took up residency I was very very ill, so this absolutely contributed to my design going down a less optimistic path. The installation ended up a visual of that lonely , desolate , hopeless place of despair in my mind.

Impressions of “Untiteled” by Storm Septimus (1)

Impressions of “Untiteled” by Storm Septimus (2)

At the landing you can also get information about “Virtual Ability”, a group that helps bring people with many kinds of RL disabilities mental, emotional, physical and sensory into Second Life, and provides them with a supportive community. The landing platform sits on the shoulders of 4 large statues, you can see how they suffer carrying the platform, but they are strong.
At their feet is a garden presenting the group “Virtual Ability”. And from there you cross a bridge to the second part of “Untitled“.
Again this island is supported by two statues, but not on their shoulders but on their backs and they almost break under the load they carry. The main high plateau is a huge sea of blood and the sound does intensify the dark and depressing mood. There’re dead bodies swimming in the sea of blood. There are also places to sit and to watch, to let your mind wander, to try to feel and follow the artists thoughts.

Impressions of “Untiteled” by Storm Septimus (3)

At some places you find diaries with thoughts of people with longterm disabilities. On the other hand, this installation was built by Storm Septimus in a state od disability and proves that something impressive can arise from this state. There’s the place with the many buring candles that expresses the hope to leave the depression behind (my interpretation) and there’s the unexplainable beauty of “Untiteled“, the many extraordinairy views and impressions you get.
Untitled” is a very touching masterpiece enabling us to get a tiny insight into the mind of someone ill.

Thank you Storm Septimus!

Simploring 2018 (35) The Hamptons and Aphrodisiac

For my simploring tour Sunday, April 15th, I picked The Hamptons from Inara Pey’s blog post “The Hamptons in Second Life“.
The Hamptons is described as “Amazing nature scenes, inspired by Northern East Coast or Western European landscapes, with plenty of hide aways to cuddle and relax from the crowd and the noise.” The description fits well.

The Hamptons – overview

The Hamptons consist of 3 larger and one small rocky island which are all connected by bridges. The landing is on the largest of these island at the site of an old piano factory. From here you can walk over wooden paths and bridges and enjoy the views over the island. There are some nice places to sit and cuddle and to enjoy the nature.
After walking over the first bridge you get to the entrance of an old mine. Of course I went in. The tunnel ends in a big cave, but there’s not much to see. I crossed the next bridge and walked over another bridge to the smallest island. There’s just one single room house in a Japanese style.

Impressions of The Hamptons (1) – around the landing point / at the entrance to the mine (lower right)

The room reminded me more of a cage or cell, then a living space. I walked back and got to a high plateau from where you can again enjoy the view. Next to a caravan is another single room house in a Japanese style, again remembering of a cage – and you can’t get in btw. I tried some of the lovely spots to sit and walked back to the middle island with the old mine.
When you walk along the edge of the rock you reach a greenhouse that is protected to the wind by the rock, quite cosy. Shame, there’s no cuddle possiblity there. The last place I visited was the pier where I found a doll cage and a Victorian Mistress chair, both made me curios of course! A part of the pier is already private area, about a quarter of The Hamptons is private. It is not marked but protected by ban lines.

Impressions of The Hamptons (2) – single room house (upper left) / at the high plateau (upper right and lower left) / at the greenhouse (lower right)

The Hamptons is owned by Haye Von Ayenhaha (Haye Aya). Thank you for providing your sim to the public! I did enjoy my simploring visit a lot.

Inara Pey’s blog post “The Hamptons in Second Life”
https://modemworld.me/2018/04/07/the-hamptons-in-second-life/

In Inara Pey’s blog entry I read that Haye Von Ayenhaha (Haye Aya) has used some of her own mesh designs for creating The Hamptons, Inara mentioned in particular the wooden paths and bridges. And yes, in Haye’s profile I found the remark that The Hamptons is “a show case of what can be done in landscaping with lots of my designs“.
I wanted to visit Haye’s shop and found it the landmark to “Haha – Aphrodisiac Clothing” in her profile. From the tags of the landmarks description (among others Latex, BDSM Accessories, Catsuits, Pet Collars, Fetish fashion) I expected a store for kinky clothes but what I found was a shop for furniture and other home and garden stuff.
Some of her work is really nice, for example she sells an iron patio frame, that is unique and will be sold just once. I like this idea. What I didn’t find were clothes nor did I find the wooden paths and bridges.

Aphrodisiac – overview

There were more islands where the shop is – and the name of the (adult) sim is promising: Aphrodisiac. I explored the other islands. One is dedicated to Matriarchy, one is dedicated to Patriarchy, one is obviously the former site of the store and there I found the tunnel and the cave from The Hamptons and one island is private again. I also noticed that other elements like bulidings of The Hamptons are use at Aprhodisiac as well.

Impressions of Aphrodisiac – at the Haha store (upper pictures) / at Matriarchy (lower left) / at Patriarchy (lower right)

I appreciate the rules for Matriarchy and PatriarchyMesh avatars only, system avatars will be ejected. Human avatars only, max size 210 cm for men, 190 for women; check on rulers. We ban oversized and non human…
Hence my simploring tour was also a kinkploring tour. Finally I had a look for Haye’s clothes and I found her clothes on the SL marketplace at least.

Diary 2018 (65) April 12th/13th Kinkploring

Thursday night, April 12th, we decided to go kinkploring. My current list of places to go to was empty. Hence our kinploring tour started with a visit to Heavy Bondage Club and we took slave Flo with us. We stayed about half an hour watching the crowd, enjoyed some eye candy and read profiles, then I had 5 places to visit, all taken from profiles that night.

Before we really began visiting kinky places, Mistress Jenny and I visited a shop. We didn’t get anything nor was it a shop to visit again. slave kelly came inworld and accompanied us on the tour.

April 12th kinkploring: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Flo at Heavy Bondage Club and meeting slave kelly

The first place we visited was BAD GIRLS (RLV) Hangout & BDSM Dungeon, a place tagged with “Forced, slave, punish, bestiality, bondage, hardcore, collar, shemale, femboy, gang, bang, whore, slut, bimbo, AFK, cum, bukkake, Master, Domme, roleplay, chill out, rape, tentacles, torture, lolita, daddy, kidnap, gangbang, torture, toy, pain, Mama Allpa, femdom“.
Wow, that’s a long tag list, isn’t it? Mistress Jenny told me that we have been at Bad Girls before long ago and actually she remembered it – I didn’t. The place was really quite full, full of newbies, men, advertisements over and over, lights and boards and looked really not tempting at all.
I’d love to take more pictures but Mistress Jenny literally run through the different rooms and she was hard to stop. At one room she told us, that there women can be fucked being afk – what the hell is the sense?!? I mean, in a virtual world, why would you park your avatar for being fucked and don’t even attend it?? That’s strange, at least for me! Anyway, Bad girls is not at all my and our cup of tea.

April 12th kinkploring: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Flo and slave kelly visiting “Bad Girls”

The second place we went to was Vortex Hypnosis World, described as “Big tits Bimbos come and Obey! And meet other Hypnotists or subjects in many different hypnotic environments: Gynoids, Neko and Furry, Bimbos, BDSM, Slave, Cult, Dance Club with Ultra Graphics Compatibility. Hypnosis from all the creators.
This place was new to Mistress Jenny and myself. It proves that there’s a place for every kink or fetish you can think of. Again the place was in my eyes shrill and bizarre. Huge boards surrounded us playing slideshows and videos of non-natural huge breasts in all forms. I got real back pain looking at them. In the center of the place are several hypnosis stands where you can dive into your own kinky world.
The owner of Vortex Hypnosis World, Dr John Skytower (johng skytower), was present and invited us to try out everything we’d like. Honestly my demand visiting kinky places was fully covered by now and we left Vortex Hypnosis World.

April 12th kinkploring: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Flo and slave kelly visiting “Vortex Hypnosis World”

We ended our kinkploring after these two weired places – and I do still have 3 more on my list now for the next tour. At home slave Flo left us for bed.
We had a visitor, Irene Soames (aaron immelmann), who was exploring our place. She had Albatraz, Claven Albatros’ sim in her picks, but slave kelly didn’t know her form her time there. We chatted a bit with Irene, then I took the opportunity to use what slave kelly showed me in the afternoon and I ordered our slave to present herself to Irene. slave kelly did well and Mistress Jenny was surprised as she first thought that the whole procedure was my idea. It wasn’t as I told her later, but I like the idea and might come up with other ideas for the slaves to shows their obedience in particular in front of strangers.
After our visitor left, Mistress Jenny and I spent a few minutes at club DeLust, then our full and varied night was over and we went to bed.

April 12th: slave kelly presenting herself to Irene (left) / Mistress Jenny and Diomita at club DeLust and at home (right)

Friday, April 13th, Mistress Jenny and I went with slave kelly and Angelique to The Secret House. Anne joined us there. We spent an hour at the club, watching the crowd, reading profiles and chatting among us in private. And at night – our regular Friday night party to start off the weekend with the theme “red”

April 13th: Friday night party at Eurobrats HQ, Mount Everest

Simploring 2018 (34) Serendipity Restaurant at Orchard Heights

I was up for a short simploring tour Friday April 6th and this time I picked a place from the SL Desitnation guide again: Serendipity Restaurant. The description caught my attention “Serendipity Restaurant is a lush combination of amazing food and a stunning view. An open-concept structure provides Residents with a lovely dining atmosphere while the ocean breeze gently rolls through the restaurant. This is a luxuriously relaxing dining experience for everyone.
Why did it catch my attention? Because restaurants in Second Life are much rarer than in the physcial world. Well, I assume that’s because pixels have no taste and you can eat them literally. I remember that I searched for a restaurant for taking a picture and it took very long to find a suitable location.

Serendipity Restaurant – overview and impressions

Serendipity Restaurant is a nice place, in the physical world you would recognize it as an expensive and quite superior restaurant. You can sit inside with a lovely view out, but you can also sit outside. It’s the perfect place for a wedding and I’m pretty sure that some SL weddings have taken place there.
Beside the lovely views everything is set up nicely and the tables are set and decorated. The only thing I missed was a kitchen! *winks*.

Impressions of Serendipity Restaurant at Orchard Heights

Besides visiting the Serendipity Restaurant I learned about something else – Orchard Heights. The restaurant is part of community of 17 connected sims where you can live, roleplay and attend other activities. Orchard Heights is owned and operated by Aiden Tigra (aidentigra) and Aurora Tigra (auroradarklove). There’s an own website with more information about events, avaible homes and living at Orchard heights. I got a friendly hello when I arrived and I got a notecard, an orientation HUD and the web address for Orchard heights. It seems quite professionally managed.
And the restaurant seems to be one of the amenities you get when you’re living there – but you can book the place as well as a non resident, as far as I understood.

Simploring 2018 (33) – Shades of Emotion

Monday, April 2nd, I got a personal message from Jinty Darkwatch. She told me that HeAdLiGhTs, a place that I reported about back in 2016 (read here) is closed. As HeAdLiGhTs was European and had regular music events, Jinty brought to my attention, that she opened a place named “Shades of Emotion“, which is also European with live music and live singers and that offers also areas for roleplay and other fun.

On Thursday afternoon, April 5th, Jenny and I went over to Shades of Emotion to explore it. It is on a sky platform and the landmark leads you directly to the dancefloor. The club area is huge, there’s not just the large dance floor and quite some boards. There’re also places to sit and for dice and cards games nearby. Jinty herself was present as well as Lady Harcassle, who welcomed us. Lady Harcassle owns the sim, Jinty Darkwatch owns Shades of Emotion.

Shades of Emotion – overview

Jenny and I went exploring the sim on our own first, later Lady Harcassle gave us a short tour. Shades of Emotion is open to the public but still developing and some areas are not fully finished yet. Besides the large event area, that dominates the place, there are a lot of nice places to sit, to meet and to chat in the park surrounding the club. At one side is a long row of stores, that is not yet rented out.
Very impressive is a meeting area outside next to artificial water falls and fountains.

Impressions of Shades of Emotion – the event area (upper and lower left) / waterfall&fountains (upper right) / the shopping mall (lower right)

Adjacent to the event area is the club house. The ground floor of it is not yet finished, but the basement is already built and furnished. There’s all you’d expect in an adult sim, there’s a room for medical play and water sports, a rubber room, a room with cells (not yet finished), and a large clubroom, that Jinty called the “pampering room”.
At the end of our short tour Lady Harcassle invited us to join the Shades of Emotion group and I’ll share the group description “BDSM explore areas, great hang club called Shades of Emotion, to relax, r/p, explore or just watch the show and listen to good music, live DJ and life music each day. Wonderful world of pony play, Lilac Mountain Ranch – come have fun

Impressions of the club house at Shades of Emotion, lower right shows one of the many places to sit in the park surrounding the event area and the club house

Any place in Second Life lives from the people who use and visit it. Shades of Emotion has all it needs to become such a place. You should give it a try and visit, as Lady Harcassle expressed it “Come have fun”.
I myself hope to find the time to have a look at it again.

Diary 2018 (58) April 1st/2nd Secret Society

Sunday, April 1st, Easter 2018, was quite eventful in Second Life for me. First I visited Mario’s Easter Light Show with Angelique (see yesterday’s post here) and then I went kinkploring with Angelique and Flo Drone. Jenny wasn’t around at night due to her RL. I had found the place that we visited by reading profiles – Secret Society Embassy:
We do not look down on blacks, jews, asians, latins or even weak whites. Here you are all equally inferior. And my orders are to weed out all cheaters who are not devoted to serve in our beloved Corps.”

The Secret Society Embassy is housed in a Second Life premium member home and owned by Anastasia (manastasiap). It is just the same type of house that I own and that we call our loft. But you can also make something really kinky of such a house. All inside walls were covered with black latex curtains and on the 1st floor are also some toys and gear, clearly related to rubber fetishists.
On the 2nd floor we found boards of the members of the Secret Society and a teleport ring leading to the Secret Society Homeland, that was restricted to members only. But we succeeded finding the landmark to the Secret Society Homeland – and we went there.

April 1st- Diomita, Angelique and Flo Drone at the Secret Society Embassy

The Secret Society Homeland is housed on a large platform in the sky, with two main buildings that are surrounded by trails, exercise courts and stables for pony play. Access was not restricted, so we went into the 2 buildings. Both are full of club rooms, dungeons and playrooms. And all rooms are decorated very stylish and you can literally smell the rubber and leather.
Angelique, Flo Drone and I had lots of fun exploring the Secret Society Homeland. We also tried out some of the equipment. I haven’t seen a place that full with stylish and thoughtfully selected kinky gear in a while. There was just one room that was not accessible – the toilet! Angelique couldn’t believe it! Luckily she didn’t need to pee.

Impressions of Secret Society Homeland (lower left is the locked toilet door)

After our kinkploring tour we went home to wind down, the visit was really exciting, and we played a round of Skipee before we all went to bed. I had a full Easter Sunday.

Monday, April 2nd, I met with Jenny in the afternoon and told her about our kinkploring tour of the night before. Of course she was curious and I took her to the Secret Society Embassy and to the Homeland. We spend some time there and I had fun teasing my wife and property while she was trying out some of the equipment there.

April 2nd: Jenny and Diomita at the Secret Society Homeland

Jenny was prevented from coming online Monday night again.
I contacted Anastasia (manastasiap) and confessed that we spied out her place. She was very kind and invited me over to the homeland where I met her and her partner Galatea (mistress.aura). We had a very nice chat. Anastasia owns the Secret Society group and the homeland. She allowed that I publish the pictures, that I took but the landmark to the Secret Society Homeland stays secret and I won’t tell. Thank you Anastasia and Galatea.

Later at night I was alone with Flo Drone and we played 2 rounds of Skipee before we went to The Secret House. Drone Flo (AnneWanne) joined us there and Argi entertained everybody. And that’s it again for this diary entry.

Simploring 2018 (32) – Mastering the Zen

For my simploring tour Saturday, March 31st, I picked “Mastering the Zen” from scoop.it SL Destinations. This sim was presented from Isabella Coletti (Belladochas Minoptra) in her blog “The Second Life Tourist“, here’s the link to her blogpost.
I added the link to her blog under “Active blogs” on the side bar of this blog.

Mastering the Zen is an adult skybox and described as “a quiet, calm and tranquil place to escape to, and possibly from depending…”. It is an adult place. And yes it is peaceful in several ways. First of all it is a beautiful garden around 2 Japanese houses, a pond and a big tower. Everything is layed out perfectly like I saw it in other Japanese gardens I visited in Second Life or saw on pictures. I myself was never in Japan and I have no knowledge of Japanese culture. But it is for sure an eye candy.

Mastering the Zen – overview

I first went to the tower. On the ground level is a bondage cage and a hanging cage, we do own these both ourselves. I searched for a way to see the other levels of the tower but there’re no stairs nor a teleport. And I also found out that the other levels are empty. Just on the top level I found a Shibari table and naughty me tried it. What began as a simploring tour became a little “Enjoying bondage” scene. I tried out all poses and took dozends of pictures at the top level of the tower.

Mastering the Zen – Diomita enjoying bondage at the top Level of the tower

Back on the ground level I explored the park a bit more in detail and in fact there’re more Shibari racks .. and again I couldn’t hold back and tried them. For sure a place to take Jenny to on the occasion of my next green light.

Mastering the Zen – the Shibari garden

Between the two houses on the left and the right side is a pond with a bridge and a Shibari cage at each side. The houses contain each a another pond with some flowers and one room, that is used as a bedroom in one house and as a living room in the other house.
Last but not least I should mention the drake, that is right next to the tower, a great piece of art.

Mastering the Zen is group owned, the group was founded by Lilydeelala Haiku. I assume that she’s the owner of Mastering the Zen. From her profile I learned that the owns a store named “See You Next Tuesday” and I thought I could visit that store in the same sim. But I found no way to the ground level nor to the store. The landmark to the store that I took from Lilydeelala Haiku profile just led me back to Mastering the Zen.

Mastering the Zen is a place for taking pictures in a Japanese environment – and for those who love Shibari. It is indeed very peaceful to hang safely held in ropes and it has something very erotic for me. Thank you Lilydeelala Haiku for my Saturday afternoon Shibari hour at your sim!
