Simploring 2020 (67) Snuggles Forest

For my simploring tour on Wednesday/Thursday, September 16/17th, I picked Snuggles Forest form scoop.it SL Destinations. The entry led me to post of Maddy Gynoid “Simtipp: Snuggles Forest“, which I read before visiting. The landmark profile is quite fitting to what I was going to see: “Enjoy a beautiful stroll, relax on the beaches, hold your sweetheart close, cuddle, and dance, sit in one of many romantic spots, explore, propose, even get married in the chapels, with a automated service.

Snuggles Forest Overview and orientation map

Snuggles Forest is a moderate homestead owned by Teagan Parnas. It is one of five regions that are connected. All 5 sims belong to Teagan. She owns a chain of shops with the label “Snuggles“, that sells Baby Animesh Clothes, furniture, and gifts and everything else for SL babies, cards and seasonal decorations. I could see large buildings on the other regions, but there’s no shop at Snuggles Forest.

Impressions of Snuggles Forest (1)

Snuggles Forest is a sim just to enjoy and to wind down. It is mainly a forest. The landing is on a trail next to a big board with teleport destination on the sim itself and to the shops on the neighbourhood sims. The trail leads you around the sim mostly close along the shore. In the center is a large mountain with a high plateau. The selected windlight is a but hazy, but with this windlight the pictures look a bit like watercolour paintings and I like that.

Impressions of Snuggles Forest (2)

Impressions of Snuggles Forest (3)

Also quite close to the landing is a horse rezzer if you don’t want to walk on foot. I decided to walk this time. Along my way I saw many places to sit and enjoy. Close to most of the cuddle places are intan dance poles making Snuggles Forest a place for lovers. The selected trees and plants provide a natural atmosphere. I came to the beach with the lighthouse and to small hut where a few cows were grazing. Walking along the river you can see two waterfalls … and of course more places to cuddle and snuggle.

Impressions of Snuggles Forest (4)

The trail led me to the second beach and to the wedding chapel. There are several opportunities to walk up on the mountain with it large forested high plateau. In the forest you find again these nice spots to sit and watch.

Impressions of Snuggles Forest (5) – lower left shows the wedding chapel

And that’s it about Snuggles Forest. If you seek a quiet place to wind down, if you enjoy forests and nature, or if you like taking pictures then Snuggles Forest is a great place to visit. I always appreciate it when shop owners combine their business with giving something back to the community like Teagan did with this sim. Thank you very much, I enjoy my visit a lot.

Art in Second Life 2020 (64) Space Oddity by Caly Applewhyte

I got an invitation to attend the openin of “Space Oddity by Caly Applewhyte” on Friday night, October 9th at Itakos Art Gallery. As we have our own party at the same time, I couldn’t attend. But I went there shortly before and peeked in.

I grabbed a notecard that is a very good description of this exhibition by Caly Applewhyte:
Caly Applewhyte (Calypso Applewhyte) is a talented artist at creating images that start from portrait as a genre, but expand to narrate something more like a scenic setting. Subjects always somehow artificial, or perhaps protected, by metal prostheses and partial masks, which speak to us of a sort of fragility, a need to cover or mix the virtual appearance of an avatar in a dream dimension, a journey suspended in time and in space. So when we talked about this exhibition, looking for inspiration, we discovered the common passion for far and deep space, and for David Bowie’s music. The reference came immediate and simultaneous to both: Space Oddity. The solitary adventure of a human being floating in deep space speaks to us of alienation and feeling alone, of the search for safety in the difficult situations of life.
With this inspiration, Caly’s photos tell us a story of a character suspended and floating in her own dream universe, but who also has a deep gaze to look at us.
“Planet Earth is blue, and there’s nothing I can do”.
Enjoy Caly Applewhyte’s Emotional Space Trip.

Diary 2020 (136) September 28th/29th In Angelique’s shoes (V) / A very short red light

Monday, September 28th, Mistress and I met in the afternoon again. After catching up quickly, Mistress took me to club Domme a Domme and gagged me. The gag was set to a timer of one hour and to add punihsment time of 10 extra minutes for any attempt to talk in main chat. Hence I was restricted to IM. We later went to Mesmerize Dungeon and to Heavy Bondage Club, we looked at profiles and we chatted amoung us. With my timer running down, Mistress Jenny’s time for this afternoon was up too. Mistress told me that the gag was kind of an obedience training *sighs*

September 28th: Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin Diomita at club Domme a Domme and at Heavy Bondage Club

My night was strange. Angelique had told me that she might be absent at night, slave Flo was also absent, as she has other obligations Monday nights quite often, slave Melissa didn’t show up, and slave Gwendi is missing for 6 weeks now – and Mistress had told me that she would run a little bit late. I had changed into an Angelique outfit, I wore her shape and I had added my cuffs with the keys out. Like this I went on a tour through the clubs. I visited BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club, Puerto Esclava, club Domme a Domme and Heavy Bondage Club. I felt really weired, not only being alone, but being alone and looking and moving like Angelique. It had an effect on me. It made me feel very submissive. Luckily none was tempted to talk to me, thus I could watch people. That was not that bad for one night at least. And … in fact Angelique was always with me *winks*

September 28th: Diomita “in Angelique’s shoes” at BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club, club Domme a Domme and Heavy Bondage Club

Finally Mistress Jenny came inworld and we went to Mesmerize Dungeon. Mistress had been hold up longer than she had thought. We spent half an hour at Mesmerize Dungeon. Ann came by with her twin Sofie (LaraSofie), dressed as busy bees (black/yellow). There’s nothing more to report from Monday night.

September 28th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Mesermize Dungeon and at home / Ann (TransAnn) and her twin Sofie (LaraSofie)

Tuesday, September 29th, I had again some time with Mistress in the afternoon. After we had caught up with our mutual news, Mistress ended my red light. It might have been one of the shortest red lights I experienced so far. It has had it’s effect nonetheless. I admit, I was really surprised, but Mistress does know what she’s doing and I’ll get a green light soon.

September 29th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home and at Puerot Esclava with Ebony

Mistress allowed me to lick her and to get my fix, then we spent time at Puerto Esclava, chatting with each other and with Ebony, who showed up there. Our afternoon hour flew by quickly. And Mistress was not around at night due to her RL.
slave Flo was present at night and slave Melissa came inworld after slave Flo and I had finished 2 quick rounds of greedy. It was about time that I got slave Melissa hooded. That was more difficult than I thought as the RF hood was still owned by someone else. We tried but couldn’t get it working. Hence slave Meli was put into her KaS hood, just like slave Flo. I gagged both and took them with me to BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club and exposed them there. I had a relaxed night with the slaves, chatting a bit in IM and watching and rebuilding my domme side *winks*.

Simploring 2020 (66) Coasta Verde

For my simploring tour Monday, September 28th, I picked Coasta Verde from scoop.it SL Desinations. It led to a post from Susann Decuir “Simtipp: Coasta Verde (Moderat)” (in German) and that was really a teaser for going there on the spot.

The landmark description is short and doesn’t fully reveal what you can expect there (a lot!): “Coasta Verde. Visitors are welcome, beach, hangout, relax, explore

Coasta Verde – overview and orientation map

Coasta Verde is a moderate homestead owned and designed by Night (Nightwatcher Stormcrow). And it is incredible what Night made with less than 5000 prims – Chapeau!

The landing is in the center of a long promenade at the beach. Your first view goes over the large beach to the lighthouse. The scenery is hazy, it almost feels a bit cold and damp. Well it is Autumn. If you turn around you see a fair with a ferris wheel and a large fall tower (Madfall). Behind the fair is a mountain ridge that melts into the high mountains of the sim surround.

Impressions of Coasta Verde (1) – around the landing point / the beach / the lighthouse

I first went on the beach with its many opportunities to sit and watch, just the cold and damp weather doesn’t really invit to sit – that’s how many beaches look like at this time of the year. I walked along the beach and went to the lighthouse first. Below the lighthouse you find two cosy places, one tent and one campfire. Above the campfire is a balloon. Try sitting on it to have a nece view over the whole place.

Impressions of Coasta Verde (2) – the campfire with the balloon / Irish pub / a view on the fair

I went back to the promenade, visited the Irish pub and enjoyed the view on the fair, which is for sure one of the hightlights of Coasta Verde. I had fun! I tried out the fall tower (Madfall), which is quite well made, I tried out the swingboat (that offers only different seating poses for pictures) and I tried the ferris wheel. The ferris wheel is fully operational. It stops at the highest point so that you can have a view and take pictures. Just great!

Impressions of Coasta Verde (3) – fair fun: Madfall / swingboat / ferris wheel

I finally tried out the carousel (Shell Shocked) – another fun ride. Next to the carousel is the source for the scary noises that I heard all the time in the background – a graveyard. And fitting to the season some scary zombies were around, seemingly trying to catch me.
No fair without food and drinks. At the other end of the fair is a bar and restaurant offering places for a break after all the fun.

Impressions of Coasta Verde (4) – the crousel (Shell Shocked) / graveyard with zombies / bar and restaurant

I visited the next highlight – the Wolf Ridge Asylum. You can grab a notecard in the entry hall when you dare to step close to the wall: “Welcome to the Wolf Ridge Asylum. Closed and abandoned in the late 1970s, former residents have recounted tales of ghastly trials and demented attempts to cure the mentally disturbed. One in particular, a nurse of the facility spoke …. ”
I recommend to get the full text and to enjoy your scary visit. Ghosts are round and the above mentioned nurse. You can gat a flashlight at the wall as well ….. I managed to take on picture with a ghost.

Impressions of Coasta Verde (5) – Wolf Ridge Asylum

Finally I went to Bates Motel and to the Psycho house. Have a look into the rooms of the motel. Every room showcases another scary scene – bloody, scary, just great. Of course the Psycho house is home for ghosts, one welcomes you already on at the entrance stairs. And those inside seem to be quite alive. Next to the Psycho house is another graveyard and two more ghosts.

Impressions of Coasta Verde (6) – Bates Motel and Psycho House

Coasta Verde is a very well made place. It offers a lot of fun as there’s so much to explore and to discover. The fair is really well made. Beside of all this fun, Coasta Verde is excellent built with a lot of fitting details. And for the Halloween season, it is just perfect. I will return for sure and enjoy this place.
Thank you, Night, for sharing this place publicly. I had fun on my first visit!

Diary 2020 (135) September 26th/27th In Angelique’s shoes (IV) / Another Red Light

I had a quiet Saturday and used my free time during the day for a simploring tour. At night only slave Flo was present. Mistress took the weekend off to get away from everyday life for 2 days. I had planned to put the slaves in hoods that fit to their straight jackets and had selected the NGW Aphrodite hood. slave Flo and I tried to get it right but we couldn’t get it fitted perfectly, hence I picked the KaS hood for slave Flo. Technical issues are time comsuming and often stressful hence we played 2 rounds of greedy afterwards. Then I took slave Flo on a short tour to expose her in her enhanced outfit. We went to Mesmerize Dungeon and to Psi’s realm. It was quiet as it is often on Saturday nights. But at Psi’s realm we could watch some teasing and banter and had fun.

Sept 26th: Diomita and slave Flo at home, at Mesmerize Dungeon and at Psi’s realm

Sunday, September 27th, I visited an art installation in the later morning and I met with Angelique. We had a nice chat, then I had to leave to to tend to my RL.

Sept 27th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home

In the afternoon I met with Mistress Jenny and we caught up with our mutual news from almost 4 days that we didn’t see each other. Mistress was in quite a domme mood and began to restrain me with ballet boots and cuffs …. and exchanged my sub collar with the slave collar. Mistress started a red light, because she can!

Sept 27th: Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin Diomita

Mistress took me to Mesmerize Dungeon. It was full but I didn’t see anyone because I was quite stirred up and in deep subspace. Mistress played with my poses and put me into a sub pose in addtion. As I had swapped with Angelique a lot the days before, Mistress had the desire that Angelique should dress like me and we both, Mistress and I, talked with her. Soon after Angelique showed up … wow … Mistress with two Angeliques at her leash.

Sept 27th: Mistress Jenny at Mesmerize Dungeon with Ehesklavin Diomita and Angelique

We returned home as Mistress had to leave. I stayed a bit longer with Angelique and further adjusted my appearance by copying her animations. Now it is really hard to differentiate us – who is who?! What a full and exciting afternoon.

Sept 27th: Mistress Jenny at home with Ehesklavin Diomita and Angelique – who is who?

Once again after an intense time in the afternoon, we had a quiet but enjoyable night. We first played skipee as teams, Mistress and Angelique against Diomita and slave Flo. Mistress and Angelique won it clearly. It is always less fun when it is not close.

Sept 27th: Mistress Jenny, Angelique and Diomita with slave Flo at home and at Mesmerize Dungeon / Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin Diomita at home

We went to Mesmerize Dungeon afterwards where we stayed until flotime. I took many pictures again being intrigued by Angelique’s and my own appearance. After we had returned home, Mistress allowed me to lick her and to get my fix. Thank you, Mistress Jenny .. what a day in Second Life.

Art in Second Life 2020 (63) Third Eye Gallery October 2020 – Poppy & Thus Yootz

I got an invitation from Jaz (Jessamine2108) for the opening of a new exhibition at the Third Eye Gallery, featuring the artists poppy (popikone) and Thus Yootz. I visited on October 3rd, just a few hours before the opening.

Poppy (popikone) is in Second Life for 5 years. She has a passion for photography. Storing her pictures on Flickr she came across SL. As we all know the creativity in Second Life is almost unlimited and hence poppy gets always soemthing to inspire her. The exhibition at Third Eye Gallery is her first exhibtion in Second Life ever. It shows a broad variety of picture. You can recognize that some of her pictures have their origin in SL, but for some I couldn’t tell at all. Poppy processes her pictures with different tools and techniques. The result is intriguing.

poppy (popikone)’s art at Third Eye Gallery October 2020

It is also the first time that I came across Thus Yootz. Thus is in Second Life for almost 12 years and has many different passions here. She plans and organizes weddings, she designs sims and gardens. she creates trees and plants and of course she has a passion for photography.
Thus is from Greece and studied the arts. She has taken art in many group art exhibitions in Greece. Her pictures might be pictures taken in Second Life originally, or at least parts of it. Thus uses them to creat something new from it, she adds texts of colour effects, the uses several levels in her pictures. This way you can discover new details every time you look at them.

Thus Yootz’s art at Third Eye Gallery October 2020

Third Eye is Jaz (jessamine2108)’s home and gallery – a place that is designed to showcase art, particles, inspire stories, and offer a quiet place to relax and rejuvenate. Jaz says: “It is the culmination of my many dreams – to create a place that nurtures and helps the growth of all types of creative endeavors – be it words, pictures, or particles.

Diary 2020 (134) Sept 22nd-25th In Angelique’s shoes (III)

Tuesday, September 21st, I spent some time with Mistress in the afternoon. Mistress first took me to Mature Dommes where we caught up with our mutual news from RL and SL. We then went over to Puerto Esclava and to Heavy Bondage Club and watched the crowd while talking until Mistress Jenny had to leave to tend to her RL. She was once again not inworld at night.

Sept 22nd: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Mature Dommes and at Heavy Bondage Club

I spent the night with Angelique and slave Flo again. First we three cleaned the house in a quick common effort. Then Angelique and I had some particular fun – we swapped our shapes and dressed alike. There are several things we noticed. Firstly our shapes are not that different, Angelique is just a bit thinner and shorter than me and has smaller breasts. Secondly …. our faces… with the same hairstyle, same glasses we clearly look like relatives.
Angelique, slave Flo and I played 2 rounds of greedy and then I had a short photo session with Angelique to document our swap.

Sept 22nd: Diomita and Angelique – Angelique and Diomita (we know who is who *winks*)

After the little session we went to Mesmerize Dungeon for a bit. Sidonia was present and started her product presentation just after Angelique had left to bed. Hence slave Flo and I had a bit of entertainment,
We left a bit earlier than flotime, had another quick greedy and went off to bed.

Sept 22nd: Diomita and Angelique with slave Flo at Mesmerize Dungeon / Sidonia (Luzie Nymphea) with a random victim of her

I met with Mistress Jenny again in the afternoon, Wednesday, September 23rd. Mistress took me to club DeLust, where we stayed most of our time together that afternoon. Mistress Jenny got a new hairstyle tat really looks stunning and I looked at her most of the time. We caught up with our news and we talked. Mistress had a few IMs.

Sept 23rd: Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin at club DeLust – Mistress Jenny’s new hairstyle

After an hour Mistress took me to our loft skybox and allowed me to serve her, to lick her and to taste the juices of submission. And I did so eagerly and full oy greed. Thank you Mistress Jenny.

At night I was traveling and had a chance to log in shortly late at night. Mistress Jenny, slave Flo and I went to Caged Elegance and attended Gravity (theriaeriker)’s party for a short time. But the time was sufficient so that I could catch up with Mistress and it was relaxing after a long journey.

Sept 23rd: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave Flo at Caged Elegance

I was not inworld Thursday, September 24th and most of Friday, September 25th. I returned Friday late night, just in time to say good night to slave Flo and to listen to the midnight song at our party. I was tired and made not many pictures, I just enjoyed winding down.

Sept 25th – Friday night party: Della Randt, Starbright Wingtips, Rachel Bloodrose, Claire (maddh4tt3r)

Simploring 2020 (65) Dya’s Southern Twilight

Thursday, October 1st, I got a message from Dya OHare that she has redesigned her sim and opened Dya’s Southern Twilight. This time her sim is “a homage to one of the most charming places of the world. Explore the “Big Easy” and the beautiful autumn landscape with numerous animals. Some romantic Spots and various places for photographers” (taken from the landmark description).
We’re talking about New Orleans, the river Missisippi and of the state of Lousiana in the US. Accordingly you find the 2 bridges (one for each direction), the French Quartier, an old paddle steamboat an the oak alley plantation at Dya’s Southern Twilight. Dya wants to take us back into the 1930/40ies and she did quite well.
Dya’s Southern Twilight, a moderate homestead, is another masterpiece of building in Second Life.

The landing point it close to the town next to a coffee bike and a board where you can join the group to get rezz rights. The windlight is a bit hazy, the sun seems to fight to get through the fog, just like it is at this time of the year. Looking around you see the old paddle steamboat, the river and the entrance to the town. Don’t forget to turn the ambient sound on. You will here some jazz music and Louis Armstrong’s “What a wonderful life” – very fitting to this place!

Impressions of Dya’s Southern Twilight (1) – around the landing point

I first went along the river a bit away from the town. At the end of the promenade is a stage where artists show some tricks. Dya used an old picture as background for the stage to provide the 1930/40ies feeling.

Impressions of Dya’s Southern Twilight (2) – the stage and the entrance to the town

I returned and walked towards the entrance of the town. I had a look at the paddle steamboat and went onboard. You can see the old steam vessels. Some rooms on the upper deck are furnished and document the luxury of these riverboats in former times. At the promenade is also the stand to buy the tickets for the a riverboat tour. Dya added a lot of details. For example there’s a board with the a tour map at the ticket booth.

Impressions of Dya’s Southern Twilight (3) – the town

In the town you can admire some street scenes. A homestead is limited in prims and Dya used up almost all prims. Hence not all stores and buildings are furnished – some are, just take a look. Dya also used a nice workaround. The store at the corner is just in refurbishment, hence the windows are closed with wooden boards. Dya added old newpapers to these boards to provide the right feeling of the 1930/40ies. Great idea!
But there’s also a little oddity. The tram fits perfect to New Orleans and to the town, yet the destination sign on it “Taksim Tünel” seems to belong more to Istanbul *winks*.
The street with the scenes is a great place to take pictures.

I went to the graveyard next. It fits to the Halloween season and to the town. Yes it is a bit scary, but not more than any other graveyard and I didn’t meet any ghost. I just noticed another oddity – the grave of Martin Luther King and his wife …. just does not fit to the time setting, but it fits very well to Dya’s Southern Twilight. What caught my eye next to the graveyard was a painting on a backyard wall showing thre musicians. Dya has an eye for litte details.

Impressions of Dya’s Southern Twilight (4) – the graveyard and the French quartier / the bar

I continued my simploring tour at the French Quartier. It is just like I saw it on pictures, just like I expected it to be – and very well transformed into Second Life. I’d like you to have a look at the decoration and the balconies. The bar is fully furnished and you can watch Louis Armstong live there. I recommend to have a look into the antique store as well.

Impressions of Dya’s Southern Twilight (5) – the French quartier / the antique store / the harbour

I left the French Quartier and walked over the bridge to the other side of Dya’s Southern Twilight, to the other side of the river and came to the harbour. It is raining there. Behind of the harbour is a village with a few residential houses, all decorated for the Autumn season and all close to the Mangrove swamp. These houses are furnished, have a look inside. In one of them you find the workplace of a witch – I loved it.

Impressions of Dya’s Southern Twilight (6) – the village

My next stop was the oak alley plantation. Again a spot that Dya has rebuilt very well and fitting to the time and the location. The ground floor of the manor is furnished and provides a feeling of luxury. From the river promenade you have a great view on the town, the paddle steamer and the French Quartier. That’s really a great place to sit and enjoy!

Impressions of Dya’s Southern Twilight (7) – oak alley plantation / river promenade / at the harbour

I ended my first visit to Dya’s Southern Twilight at the river promenade facing the the town and played with the windlight settings to get another view and atmosphere. And I enjoyed the place.

Impressions of Dya’s Southern Twilight (8) – Diomita in New Orleans

I’ve been to many places in the US in the physcial world, even in the Southern states and I’ve seen old plantations, but I’ve never been in New Orleans so far. But now, I feel as if I have been there already, much more then pictures alone could provide. Thank you Dya! You created a great place. I love it.

Diary 2020 (133) September 20th/21st In Angelique’s shoes (II)

Sunday, Spetember 20th, Mistress was prevented from coming inworld during the day. I went visiting a new gallery in the morning, the new DixMix Gallery and spent almost 2 hours there and I wrote the report about it right away in the afternoon (read about the gallery here)

At night I changed into another outfit, that was originally created as a mix and match outfit by Angelique. She must have peeked at me because when Mistress came inworld and Angelique and slave Flo joined us, Angelique was dressed exactly like me. What a suprise! And of course I took a picture of us. slave Flo had had a busy Sunday and asked for a game to wind down. We played skipee as teams again. Just like the night before slave Melissa came inworld while we were playing and she knelt silently at Mistress’ and my feet while we played.

Sept 20th: Diomita and Angelique at home / Mistress Jenny, Angelique and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club with slave Melissa

slave Flo went to bed and Mistress, Angelique, slave Melissa and I went to Heavy Bondage Club. We read profiles, teased slave Melissa, talked and enjoying being together. Angelique left to bed inbetween. Mistress and I continued teasing slave Meli a bit and left ourself not long after flotime.

Sept 20th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home saying good night / Mistress Jenny and Diomita at Heavy Bondage Club with slave Melissa

Monday, September 21st, I was inworld in the late morning, I had seen a picture of a new installation named “A Thousand Windows” at RioSisco Flickr group. RioSisco Productions that are Fred Hamilton (frecoi) and Lotus Mastroianni, the builders of many very exciting sims. The last one was “Summer in the City”, which I visted several times (read here). Long story short, I went there right away and oversaw that Mistress Jenny was inworld. We said hello shortly but she had to leave to tend to her RL. I went to “A Thousand Windows” and really enjoyed my visit there although I had a few interruptions. If you missed it, here is the simploring report .. Simploring 2020 (64) A Thousand Windows.

In the later afternoon I met with Mistress Jenny again. We caught up quickly, then I had to strip and serve Mistress and I got my fix this way. We went to Psi’s realm and later to Heavy Bondage Club and enjoyed being together in particular as Mistress was not inworld at night.

Sept 21st: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at home, at Psi’s realm and at Heavy Bondage Club

I spent the night with Angelique and slave Flo. Angelique was dressed similar to me again. I met her at the house, where she was cleaning, and I helped her so that it was done quickly. slave Flo joined when we were done. We started with two rounds of greedy as I thought slave Melissa would join us but she didn’t appear that night. I went with Angelique and slave Flo to “A Thousand Windows” and further explored it while showing it to them. We found a way to get on the roof top of one building. That provided another view.

Sept 21st: Diomita with Angelique and slave Flo on the roofs of “A Thousand Windows”

After that quick visit we went on a tour through the clubs. We went to Dark Butterfly, BDSM Lifestyle Swingers Club and Mesmerize Dungeon. We chatted and looked good (SM = Stand and Model). Angelique went off to be a bit before flotime and I went off shortly after flotime.

Sept 21st: Diomita with Angelique and slave Flo at Dark Butterfly, BDSM Lifesytle Swingers Club and Mesmerize Dungeon

Art in Second Life 2020 (62) Isolation’s Passengers

Scrolling through scoop.it SL destinations for my simploring tour on Sunday, September 13th, I came across Isolation’s Passengers. The entry led me to another post of Maddy Gynoid – Simtipp: Isolation’s Passengers (in German), which was very interesting and tempted me to visit right away.

Impressions of Isolation’s Passengers (1)

Isolation’s Passengers is a full moderate sim, group owned by “Shutter Thugs”, a group founded by Archetype11 Nova, who owns the sim. Archetype11 Nova was formerly known as Schmexysbuddy Resident and created the Hotel California sims, which I visited in 2019 (read here and here).

Impressions of Isolation’s Passengers (2)

Isolation Passenger’s is an art installation and deals with the corona virus. The landmark description provides the overall thought “When isolation becomes a religion, the living trade places with the damned.

Impressions of Isolation’s Passengers (3)

The landing is just in front of a large church. Scattered around the whole sim you find interpretations and elements that refer to the virus, to the quarantine time, to social distancing, to the fear of dead, to dead itself, to religion and to loneliness and the halt of all life as we know it.

Impressions of Isolation’s Passengers (4)

The single sculptures and scenes are impressive and inspire to think, to make a connection between them. And there’s really a lot to discover. I took many pictures here and they speak for themselves. Hence I retrain from further words and interpreations. Art and it’s effect on us is different for each of us anyway.

Impressions of Isolation’s Passengers (5)

I can only say, impressive art work! Isolation’s Passengers is an art installation you shouldn’t miss. Thank you, Archetype11!
