Simploring 2017 (100) Binemust Snow

For my 100th simploring tour 2017 I looked up the SL destiantion guide and selected BinemustSnow: “This beautiful two-island winter wonderland is filled with surprises in all corners and under the surface. Explore Binemust now to see it covered in the loveliest of snow.“

December 15th: winterly Binemust overview with ground desitinations

The name Binemust did ring a bell and yes, I visited Binemust before in August 2016 (read here). There have been some changes. It was really worth revisiting!

The landmark of the destination guide BindemustSnow leads you directly to the winterly island of Binemust. The island is really photogenic. I roamed around, explored and discovered. First I didn’t recognize that I was here before but when I entered the church I did remember and recognized it as not much changed here.

Upon your landing you’ll get a welcome notecard from Bine Rodenberger, who created and owns Binemust.
“Welcome to Binemust – a 2 island sim with an underwater world and experimental decor sites in the sky. You landed on the ground. You can find your way to the Portal, from where you have access to all the experiences on Binemust. At the portal you will find doors and holes in the ground to the different scenes on the ground, in the water and in the sky.. When you sit on a door or a hole, you will be transported to that experience, and you can find your way back to the portals by returning the way you came, or use the Portals landmark”

There are several doors and holes spread over the island, one hole is directly next to the landing point. I recommend to explore and discover the winterly island of Binemust first. I really love it. Bine succeeded to create an atmosphere that seems to be cold. But when you enter the farm house or the residential home opposed to it, it feels cosy and warm inside. After visiting the church, I took a door to the Portals. From here you can explore and discover the following destinations:
– on the ground: Horse field (landing point of BinemustSnow), Beach, church, Beach house, Light house, Farm house
– underwater: art garden, campingsite, fairground, waterford
– Skybox
and Vimmershavn

The underwater desitinations didn’t change much compared to my visit in 2016. I recognized the campingsite, the fairground and the the art garden. New for me was Cica Ghost’s hugging tree Close to the art garten. And new for me was waterford. Inside of this fabric building you find soem more art installations.

The skybox is a residential home and contains everything you need for a comfy home.

Completely new is Vimmershavn, a modern shabby town that is mostly abandonned. But there’re oases of life where nothing is abandonned, they are neat and clean. These oases give Vimmershavn a particular charme. It is ood to be in such an oasis and to look at the shabby abandonned town, that was taken by criminals and homeless people. Vimmershavn could be a great place for roleplay. I spent a lot of time there, it’s a really interesting creation.

Binemust and all the experiences is a great place for simploring. Bine Rodenberger has created something outstanding in Second Life. This time I also visited her website which contains a lot of additional information. Thank you Bine for providing Binemust to us all. I should return more often!

Diary 2017 (212) December 14th – Holiday Hunting

The holidays are always also a time to shop not only in Real Life but also in Second Life. And it is the time of freebies, sales and hunts. Thursday, December 14th, Mistress Jenny and I took slave Flo out for a hunt. We first got a freebie, a gift: christmas hat and scarf and socks. We wore the hats for the rest of the night. For the hunting we selected Brii where we did the “Night Hunt For Peace”. It will be available until December 31st.

The goal of this hunt is to find 22 dolls that are spreaded all over the Brii shop. Each doll contains a different Christmas outfit for 2 L$. Mistress, slave Flo and I found most of them and we will have a lot to sort lateron trying them on.

After the hunt we went to Satyr club and danced. Later slave Bella came inworld and I picked her up at home so that she could join us. And that’s it for this diary entry.

Simploring 2017 (98) Winterly and Christmassy Cherishville

I came across Cherishville reading Inara Pey’s blog entry “Winter at Cherishville in Second Life“. Her description and in particular her pictures of Cherishville caught my attention immediately. Cherishville is owned and designed by Lam Erin, and it’s a gem of winterly Second Life. According to the landmark description, Cherishville will be open for a few weeks only. I visited Cherisville on Sunday December 3rd, and I hope that it remains open a few weeks more.

Cherishville – overview

I arrived at the center of Cherisville which is really pitoresque. It is a row of shops and cafes lined up along the main street and the railroad. Every shop is furnished and decorated for the season. It is great fund to explore them and to have a look at the details. The railroad station is at the end of the shop row and you might have just missed all trains. The board with the departure and arrivals is really funny!

Across the railroad is a large sea promenade, also decorated for the season, the sea is frozen now according to the season. Between the “Cafe Expresso” and the “Carnaby Street” is a passage with steps that leads you to an elevated area above the shop row. The stairs end at historic subway entrances. You can enter the subway entrance and get to a subway station (New York City) that is also decorated for the season. Not far away is a large villa. The gate to the plot was locked when I visited, hence I just camed in into the villa to see the inside. The (three) rooms are furnished, one is obviously also used as a photo studio, the smaller room in the center is decorated for Christmas, and the third room has a bit of everything (among other furniture a bathtube).

After visiting the villa I walked in the other direction and came to the Christmas tree shop and to a winterly gazebo with an event area. The nature on this side of Cherishville is lovely and peaceful and at the gazebo you can take a rest and just enjoy the atmosphere.

A part of Cherishville is not accessible for the public. I assume it’s where Lan Erin has his home. This part is seperated with a line of hills. If you get too close, you’ll get a fair warning with enough time to turn and walk back.

Cherishville is really beautiful and a perfect place to relax, and to enjoy winter and the Christmas season. Thank you Lam Erin, that you share it with the public. I enjoyed my visit very much.

Diary 2017 (205) Dec 3rd – The season starts at Mount Everest

We started to decorate our homesim, Mount Everest, for the season on Sunday, December 3rd. slave slut cecy had the privilege to watch us and at the same time we instructed her to change into a cyan catsuit and a fitting hood. Mistress Jenny put let snow in our region and I sat up the Christmas gazebo that we have out for the season for many years now. And after setting it up Mistress Jenny and I had the first dance in it.

When slave Bella showed up inworld we took slave slut cecy and her to Psi’s realm and I suspended slave slut from the ceiling there. slave Bella was leashed nearby. This way we have now slave kelly, slave slut and slave Bella at Psi’s realm .. and we know that Kitty visits regularly. She might find them there and tease them. Mistress Jenny and I had fun at Psi’s and it was quite crowded. When it was time to leave, we stopped by at club DeLust for a short time to wind down and I look another close-up of Mistress Jenny and me.

Simploring 2017 (94) Akula Island

After my visit to Sunfall just a few weeks ago (read here) I got in contact to Freya Spellhunter, one of the owners of Sunfall. We had a very nice correspondence. She first pointed out that Sara Greene, the other owner of Sunfall, did most of the work in creating this sim and that the credits should go to her. She also told me, that there’s another sim in the immediate neighbourhood that I may not have noticed. It’s a tropical retreat, created and owned by Sara Greene and it is open to the public – Akula Island.

As it is cold outside and Winter is coming, why not spent my Sunday afternoon, November 26th, in the sun on a tropical island?
Akula island is a beautiful and romantic place. I rarely saw a sim with that many spots to cuddle and dance. It offers a large and long beach, two waterfalls, event space and bar, several huts (with beds *winks*), some oddities like the upper part of the Statue of Liberty at one beach or the Nautilus submarine. I would count the old sailing ship as an oddity too, as Akula island has not a historical setting. Don’t get me wrong, these oddities spice up the island and do fit, we’re in a virtual world. At one hut I found a board with the inscript “The only read things in Second Life are our feelings, so please take care of eachother“. There’s nothing to add to this statement.

November 26th: Impressions of Akula Island (1)

Akula island is an adult sim, you can be naked there at the beach or anywhere else. The landmark I got led me to the middle of the island but I found another spot that might be the intended landing spot having a board with the islands name and a warning that you might see people naked aorund here. The landmark description is short and hits the mails head “Tropical jungle beach hangout. Clothing Optional.”

November 26th: Impressions of Akula Island (2)

You can go everywhere on Akula island, all houses and huts and all areas are open to the public. Exploring and discovering it was great fun for me. You might just have a problem to decide where’s the best and most romantic spot here. The many pictures, that I took, might give you a food impression.

Simploring 2017 (89) Gem Preiz’ Chaos at The Eye Art Gallery

Gem Preiz’ “Chaos” – The Eye Art Gallery – November 2017 (1)

I discovered Gem Preiz’ art this year and wrote about it in this blog. I saw “No Frontiers” and I saw his exhibtion “5 years of Fractals“. A few days ago I got an invitation from Gem Preiz to visit his latest exhibition called “Chaos” at “The Eye Art Gallery“. Considering that Gem uses fractals for creating his Pictures, “Chaos” seems to be the opposite of what is underlying his art.
Gem wrote an introduction to his exhibtion “Chaos” that describes perfectly what he does and what it expresses:

“Confronted with the mysteries of the origins and with the question of the determinism of the Nature, Mankind from Hesiode’s theogony to the most recent mathematical theories, wanted to tame the Chaos, first by naming and personifying it, then much later by putting it in equations, still unsolved.

Look for an underlying structure in the formless and for causes of the unexplained, here is the rock which the Man-Sisyphe pushes in front of him in his secular effort to understand the Universe and dominate it.

This exhibition displays 12 fractal “paintings” on the theme of the Chaos, which seem to illustrate its description given by Ovide : «a raw confused mass, nothing but inert matter, badly combined discordant atoms of things, confused in the one place», but arisen from mathematical functions and numerical calculations which make them pure products of a perfect determinism.”

You can look a few seconds or a few hours at each picture, you won’t recognize any system, any order or any equation that describes it – it looks like chaos. Just the knowledge that it is no chaos won’t help you solving this mystery. And if you neglect this fact and don’t search for the system, then you can see what your mind wants to see within the chaos. I saw landscapes, rocks and water, I saw vulcans and fire. Amzazing pictures, Gem! Thank you.

“Chaos” is presented at The Eye Art Gallery in November 2017. The Eye Art Gallery is owned by Mona (monabyte) and has a monthly changing exhibtion as far as I understood. Unfortunately Mona’s profile is in Spanish (maybe another language?) and I couldn’t find our more about the Art Gallery but I saw some names in the member list that sound familiar to me. Thank you Mona (monabyte) for enabling this exhibtion of Gem.

Diary 2017 (188) Nov 6th/7th slave Flo and slave kelly

When I came inworld, Monday, November 6th, I went to Psi’s realm to pick up slave kelly from there. It was quite busy there and I found slave kelly kneeling in her own pee and it was smelling strong. How embarrassing! Before I took slave kelly home, she had to apologize to the people there for her loss of control.
Returning home, I had to pee myself and as I had taken slave kelly down in our dungeon I used her and peed into her mouth that was kept open by her gag… well I managed at least to get some of it inside of her. slave kelly complained and tried to evade and didn’t thank me for the gift. Another lesson was due for her. I spanked her buttom merciless for about 30 minutes until she was crying and sobbing, but still she didn’t give in to thank me …. and there was pee left, so I used her a second time, then I put her into the padded isolation cell to give her some time to consider her behavoir.

Upon my return at night, slave kelly had have enough time and reluctantly promised to value gifts more the next time. I allowed her to kiss and clean my stilettoes, then slave Flo and also Mistress Jenny showed up. We decided to have a night at home and took the slaves to the office in our main house. slave Flo was allowed to sit and slave kelly was ordered to please her sister slave, while Mistress Jenny and I discussed slave kelly’s reluctance before. Mistress Jenny fully agreed and confirmed the the importance of gifts.

slave Flo had a good time in the meanwhile and slave kelly did a good job until slave Flo had an heavy orgasm. Again we brought up the importance of gifts and slave kelly promised to be a good slave (we will see about that *winks*). To make a longer story short, after slave Flo had her relief, I removed the shield of slave kelly’s chastity belt and allowed her to ride the bottle in the office (good aold toy from the first days of Second Life). Mistress Jenny and I had a relaxed and entertaining night and the slaves both got a reward. Again time flew by quickly and it was time for Mistress Jenny and me to retreat.

Tuesday, November 7th, was splitted into two different parts. I went out with slave kelly in the afternoon and visited the latest exhibition at the Lesbian Society with her. It was about “spanking”. We didn’t find anything – yet. Slave Flo danced for us and all other guests at club DeLust later – very relaxing and enjoyable for Mistress Jenny and me. And our last stop that night was at Domme a Domme where we watched the silent crowd – and where I took some pictures of Mistress Jenny and her Ehesklavin – me.

I hesitated as I wasn’t sure if we could get the belt off our toy after welding it and I began to discuss that with Mistress Jenny. I finally did what she orderd and slave kelly was horrified and began to pee while I welded the belt on her.
I apologized to Mistress Jenny for hesitating. She clarified that with me later when we were alone … in her way *winks*.

At night we took slave kelly together with slave Flo to Psi’s realm and while we watched what was going on there I played with slave kelly’s belt. The setting is so that she can’t orgasm and gets a shock when she’s getting too close (another wonder of technology!). “Dissected Soul” by Theda Tammas at Split Screen

My simploring tour of Friday, November 3rd, led me to Split Screen at LEA 15 again, which is a temporary home for Dividni Shostakovich’s Split Screen. Split Screen Installation Space is a curated place for artists to develop large installations, often not possible in the physical world.
My first visit was in August 2017 (read here) and it was inspired by a blog entry of Inara Pey. And now I came across Split screen again reading her blog entry “A Dissected Soul in Second Life“.

Right now Split Screen hosts an installtion of Theda Tammas “Dissected Soul“. Along with her work Theda give us some words from Fernando Pessoa, a Portuguese poet, writer, literary critic, translator, publisher and philosopher, described as one of the most significant literary figures of the 20th century and one of the greatest poets in the Portuguese language (1888 – 1935) (source wikipedia).
“…I don’t know how many souls I have, I’ve changed at every moment, I always feel like a stranger.I’ve never seen or found myself…”
In the above mentioned blog entry Inara gives her interpretation of “Dissected Soul” starting with Pessoa’s words about his soul. I can follow her thoughts and recommend that you read her blog post.

Impressions of “Dissected Soul” by Theda Tammas at Split Screen (2)

Theda Tammas’ figures in her installation are all different, some miss their head, some there limbs, some walk in a line following a goal, some are entwined on eachother. There are some veines that start at the figures chests and end in a hank, as if someone had teared the heart out of the body? The ground is covered with a mixture of water and blood. But nonetheless the installation is not scary. You get different views of the figures depending from where you look at them, different views on your own soul? And the barbed wire? Does it symbolize the challenges we face in live – or is it the protection that we build around our soul?

Angelique Maurer’s 10th rezzday in Second Life

Again we celebrate a 10th rezzday in Second Life. Today our beloced niece, Angelique Maurer, celebrates her 10th anniversary of joining Second Life.  I’ve written a lot about Angelique already and it’s hard to add anyhting. This time I was really lucky. Angelique herself gave a text about herself to her aunts, Jenny and me, that she has written to describe herself for the Institution she just joined, the Birchwood Academy. And this text does really fit:

Hi all, I am Angelique Maurer,
seeing others started to introduce them self I thought I couldn’t stay behind. Said that, the first challenge occurred. I am a terrible writer, especially in a for me still difficult language. I am a Dutch girl who started to regret it I didn’t pay any attention at school regarding to the English classes., when I joined SL years ago. Shyly and insecure I began my adventures learning the so needed English language, with about my whole screen plastered with yellow post-its and a dictionary on my lap.

I will skip all the naughty things I did before I started to get interested in roleplaying, especially in a strict school academic environment. That is how I ‘found’ my two beloved Aunties, as they had a strict ballet academy (closed now). My Aunties are my caretakers, my guardians, my family. Although they are extremely strict I love them both to bits.

Anyway, over the years the knowledge of the English language got better, which improved my roleplaying skills slowly. Nevertheless I am still a natural shy girl, looking and listening to the others and try to fill in where I can. In small groups (2-5) that is usual not the biggest problem, but when the group gets bigger and a lot are talking I can collapse completely. My mind has to receive everything what’s said and process it. The moment I know what to say it is sort of outdated. This can make me complete silent. Sorry if that happens. Usually I will leave shortly after a while to get myself on track again. Knowing this ‘problem’ of myself, it doesn’t prevent me from keep trying to get involved over and over again. 
I just love roleplaying to much to stop it. Besides roleplaying I love chatting, shopping, dancing, exploring and discovering the SL world, meeting new friends and last but not least ….having fun.

I need guidance, management, strong discipline and focus in daily life – from someone else, because it does not naturally come from me. No, I’m not always going to take it with a quiet smile, but I do need it. I need discipline, I know I’m not (always) going to enjoy it, I will push back, I will screw up, often. Oh… one thing I almost forgot, “Rules are great, but it sure is fun to break them.”

September 17th: Angelique Maurer

We are very happy and proud to have our niece in our family. Angelique has grown into her role within the family and means a lot to us. We simply love her.
Happy anniversary, Angelique! Oh, and if you see Angelique around these days, don’t miss to give her some rezzday smacks (10 would be appropriate) and simply ignore her protests.
