Simploring 2017 (71) Art by Nature

Another time I went simploring following Inara’s footsteps in Second Life. Inspired by her blog entry “A return to the Art of Nature in Second Life“. I visited the exhibition “Art By Nature” of Ani (anibrm.jung).

Art by Nature is an exhibition presented by “Gallery Graine and Riverside Cafe”, which is owned by Graine Macbain. Again a place where artists get the opportunity to exhibit due to private iniative and sponsoring.

Impressions of the Exhibition “Art By Nature” by Anibrm Jung (1)

Anibrm Jung is a RL award-winning photographer for her sensitive and vibrant portraits of nature’s works of art. Using only natural light and her Nikon D60 digital camera she captures the intimate detail of the life bursting forth in her garden. Framing at the viewfinder, Ani uses no cropping or image manipulation, allowing us to see exactly as she sees and to feel the closemess to nature that is her joy. Ani, 42, is from the Netherlands and has been active in SL since December, 2006 as an artist and also performs as the lead singer for SL’s “Slave Girls Rock” band.
(taken from the information of the exhibition)

If you enjoy good photographs be it macro pictures of insects or blossoms or pictures of a pure nature landscapes or landmarks, then you’ll be exited by Ani’s art. It’s the selection of the right object, the right time to take a picture and the selected window that makes it art. I like her work!

I met Ani at her exhibition Art By Nature and we had a short chat. I asked her about a website for more information, she has none. Hence you have to visit her exhibition to see her work and to buy some of her Pictures. They are quite affordable at prices of around 500 to 600 L$.

I can just recommend a visit.

Simploring 2017 (70) Art Gallery of Accidental Entanglement & Ruthless Femdom

Sunday, August 27th, I went on a kinkploring tour. My first destination was “Art Gallery of Accidental Entanglement“. I got the landmark from ally259 who has it in her picks. She gave it to me with the remark that it would fit to my passion for the arts. Reading the landmark’s description, I had already an idea what it is about: “In a sim not listed on any maps, there’s a place where time has escaped. The sculptures are molded with care and sculpted with precision, but theres a reason they look so real…

August 27th: Impressions of Art Gallery of Accidental Entanglement

I was not surprised when I got to “Art Gallery of Accidental Entanglement“. The place has a modern gallery building and a large park. In the park there’re many podests and traps where avatars can be transformed into living statues and dolls, that do look real. The only way to differentiate between statues made of marble and living statues is the tag above the living ones. I roamed around the park and looked at the statues. I liked in particular the equestrian statue, a living statue by the way.
The gallery building is just similar to the park and while I visited I just saw empty podests over two floors. But that might change with time. For sure “Art Gallery of Accidental Entanglement” is the right place for those who share the kink of being a statue and I know some really do. It might be deliberating to simply stay frozen at one place and to watch. Not my kink though, but I do like to store a slave sometimes at places like that. Thank you Yuna Luna ÜzÜnA (yunaofsnakes) for providing this kinky place.

The second destination of my kinkploring tour was “Ruthless Femdom“. I got the link by reading the profile of Vixen Noir (sinvixen) who owns the sim. The description caught my attention as well as the sim’s name itself: “It was time to start a new chapter in my SL life…so Ruthless Femdom was born with the help of friends. We love them and we rule them and we make them serve like the inferior creatures they are…Pure FEMDOM…submit yourself and OBEY.”

August 27th: Ruthless Femdom Overview

The landing point at “Ruthless Femdom” is in a large meeting hall. In the center of the hall is a big circle of thrones and chushions and at one wall are boards with more information. When I got there I met Vixen Noir and had a short chat with her. She told me that she runs the place for about one year now and that the feedback is good particular during European prime time. Be sure that you grab and read the information notecard with the simrules – one rule is that male dominants aren’t allowed to be here (no surprise).

August 27th: Impressions of Ruthless Femdom

I had a short exploring tour. Just adjacent to the meeting hall are 4 themed buildings and I had a short look into each of them: Discipline, Footworship, Spa and Sissyroom. The meeting hall and the 4 themed buildings build one big complex. There’s another big building, that is used as a storage and prison and also contains some torturing and spanking devices. And there’s another smaller building with just one single room that is furnitured just with 2 sofas. I don’t know where it is used for. In the outdoor area you find games, kennels and some cages for quick storage. Overall “Ruthless Femdom” has many opportunities for play and it’s name sounds like program. Thank you Vixen for providing your place to the public.

Simploring 2017 (69) Another Long Journey

When I came across Inara Pey’s blog entry “A further Long Journey in Second Life“, the title already rang a bell. And yes, Inara as well as I visited “Long Journey” a couple of months ago in March 2017 (read here).

Long Journey – Overview

So what changed? First of all the landmark. Long Journey has moved to another sim. But Yang (sun2idea) did not just move, he further developed his small town that is packed on a sky platform of about 90 * 180 meters. Being in Long Journey you don’t realise that it is that small – and this small town offers a lot!
Compared to the old sim, Long Journey grew nonetheless. The canal, filled with houseboats that are used as restaurants or as event places, is now more in the West. The town is limited by a railraod for goods in the West, a big factory building in the North with a tall chimney, containers and shops in the South and houses, that are arranged in several levels and connected by stairs in the East.

Impressions of Long Journey (1)

As before, there’s a lot to discover. It is like a vacation day, you walk along bars, restaurants, the event center, cafe’s, a market. You see street art and find many places to sit and just hang around. Although there’s so much packed in this comparable small place, it doesn’t look articifial at all. It looks like a town that grew naturally with the tourism. And where is it? It could be somewhere in Asia, at least it has Asian influcences but for me it looks more like “Little China” in a town somewhere in America. At some edges it looks a bit down-at-heel, just like you would expect it in a district like Little China, other edges are full of life.

Impressions of Long Journey (2)

Yang rebuild Long Journey even better than the old one was already, a place to explore and to enjoy. He wrote about it “A small town for you to take pics, hangout and relax yourself in the beautiful landscape. Enjoy your journey, get the free gift, take the incredible photo.” Thank you Yang!

Diary 2017 (141) August 25th – Sadiana

Friday, August 25th, I wanted to make the most of my green light. I found Jenny in the annex to our skybox tied up and moaning lustfully into her gag. What a view! I didn’t hesitate to turn the vibrator up to full speed and soon later she had an orgasm.
Time for me to get one myself. I explored an Italien sim a couple of days before … Sadiana bdsm Italia where I came a cross some nice animations in one of the houses. I went theere and summoned my property over … and she had to lick me in return.

We do have a strange tradition in our SL family that eraches back to our first year in Second Life and was introduced by my first onwer Yasmin Heartsdale. When we have an orgasm in SL, we shout our thank you. Shouting in SL has the effect that it can be heard within 100 m distance, while normal chat is heard within a range of 20 m. Yasmin’s and my house in the skies of Stonehaven were less then 100 m apart, hence she could hear my shoutings or those of my slaves and I could hear her’s or those of her girls. That provided fun and things to talk about.
We kept this tradition up until today and the rule is valid in our family. And it is still fun to go at a place, trying someone else’s bedroom or dungeon (of course only when it is publically accessible) and to shout the thank you. Most of the times, none hears the shouts or none takes notice, they might think their part.

August 25th: Diomita taking Advantage of her very owned Mistress Jenny at Sadiana bdsm Italia – no shouting please!

Coming back to Sadiana … as I shouted my thank you to Jenny for her service, I was ejected from the sim. I must have disturbed someone’s silence. As Jenny was restricted from standing up. I had to go back and release her and as I did someone shouted something at me in Italien .. curses? I don’t know. Back home, I laughed with Jenny. It has been some years that anybody really took notice about our shouting *grins*.
After a short stop at Domme a Domme with Jenny, I noticed that I was still desiring more. I took Jenny back to SADIANA and she served me very well again. I refrained from shouting this time, I didn’t want to provoke anybody. Yet it felt very sinful to go back and to do it again *winks*.

And that’s it about Friday afternoon – and our Friday nights are reserved for our party.

Simploring 2017 (68) Aly’s Fine Art Gallery & Jungle

Thursday, August 17th, I went simploring following Inara Pey’s blog post “Art in the wild in Second Life“. Aly’s Fine Art Gallery & Jungle is, no surprise, a sim owned by Aly (Alysheea) with a gallery showing Aly’s art and with a jungle. The sim was built by Prosperine2 and Hepburn30. In the landmark description it is described with the tags “fine art, sculptures, photographs. The sim contains: waterfalls, cliffs, caverns, caves, hidden discoveries, romance, relaxation, dancing, adventure, Buddha, elephants, nature, GREAT photo ops, ruins, beaches and more!

The landing point is close to the gallery, that spreads over three open huts built on the beach. Aly’s art compromises moving 3D art (mobiles) and pictures of different styles from RL photography to fractal art, from black and white to SL snapshots and mixtures of all all styles. You can purchase the art here, most are just 99 L$.

After my visit to the gallery I began exploring the island. Aly’s wrote in her notecard:
Immerse your senses and enjoy!
Beauty surrounds you for relaxation and smiles
Take the time to view the art and the nature!
Search for hidden beauty along the way.
That pretty much describes the sim very well.

Impressions of Aly’s Fine Art Gallery & Jungle (2)

Aly’s Fine Art Gallery & Jungle‘s nature and the jungle are beautiful and colourful (did I mention already that I love colours?). It offers many places to sit and cuddle or to dance or to simply enjoy the view. I also tried out the tai chi animation on the top of a rock near the balloon. The big huge rock in the West covers a cave and tunnel system. The caves offer more places to wind down, to dance or simply to enjoy the colours and the peace.
I won’t describe the places and spots in detail here as my pictures tell more than a thousand words. I also discovered a cove with a “Moonphase Piano”, most probably better known as “Simon says” and I played a bit, still a nice game and a nice exercise for your memory.

I explored and discovered Aly’s Fine Art Gallery & Jungle for about an hour and I really enjoyed my visit and I took many pictures. A lovely sim! Thank you Aly for your art and in particular for providing your sim to the public.

Simploring 2017 (67) Stillwood – Realm for Photography

Tuesday, August 15th, I met Mistress Jenny late afternoon. She put me in the heavy shackles before taking me to Domme a Domme to expose her property.

August 15th: Mistress Jenny and Ehesklavin Diomita at home and at Domme a Domme

After we caught up Mistress left Domme a Domme and I got a forced teleport and to my surprise landed at Stillwood “Realm for Photography“. While I expected to be teleported to some dungeon or another club, Mistress took me to a place for taking pictures. She told me that she landed there before when she checked her landmarks. The place she looked for was gone and instead it turned out being a nice pitoresque place, just like those I use to write about.

August 15th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita cuddling at Stillwood “Realm for Photography”

We spent some 30 minutes at “Realm for Photography“. The sim is owned by MysticRose (mysticrose1) who writes about it herself: “I love photography and so have created this with that thought in mind. It will change at times. Please sit, enjoy, relax, and if you want; take pictures. Check underwater as well and join the group to be able to rez.”
Mistress took me first up to a tower to cuddle but unfortunately the animations there didn’t work. Nonetheless the view from up there is lovely. We went down again and found a nice bench to sit and cuddle. Mistress took off my heavy cuffs and we really enjoyed our togetherness as well as the peaceful atmosphere.

August 15th: Impressions of Stillwood “Realm for Photography” (1)

After Mistress had left for her RL I explored the rest of “Realm for Photography“. It is not a full homestead but is nice corner of a larger sim, Stillwood. It offers a lot more places to cuddle, to sit and mediate or for taking pictures. I tried out the umbrella (Mistress Jenny recommended that) where you can even float or jump. I went underwater and to the beach. I saw the chess board as well as some mystic beings. And of course I took some more pictures.

August 15th: Impressions of Stillwood “Realm for Photography” (2)

The upside of an Adult place is that you can take fetish or nude pictures with an nice and colourful background as wel as just take photographs of the flowers, the butterflies of the mystic beings. A really nice place for photography.
Thank you, MysticRose for providing your place to the public! We really enjoyed it.

Simploring 2017 (66) Split Screen LEA 15

I read Inara Pey’s post “A Split Screen double in Second Life”  in her blog and decided to visit this sim at LEA 15.

August 14th: Split Screen LEA 15

According to Inara LEA 15 is a temporary home for Dividni Shostakovich’s Split Screen. Split Screen Installation Space is a curated place for artists to develop large installations, often not possible in the physical world. At LEA 15 there’re two installations “EveryWhere and NoWhere” by JadeYu Fhang and “The Games We Play” by Krystali Rabeni. Both can be accessed via teleporters from the landing point and with teleporters from eachother.

Impressions of “EveryWhere and NoWhere” by JadeYuWell at Split Screen LEA 15 (1)

“EveryWhere and NoWhere” by JadeYu Fhang is the larger installation which spreads over several levels. Most of it is held in white and light blue giving the impression of being in a cold, maybe winterly world. There are ladders that connect the levels. They seemingly end into nothing, but from their end you fall on another (invisible) level to walk upon. The female statues look like altered dolls, some like modern interpretations of gods of the Greek mythology. Some statues hoover headlong, others seem to climb up a never ending staircase or elevator.

Impressions of “EveryWhere and NoWhere” by JadeYuWell at Split Screen LEA 15 (2)

It’s hard to interpret what you see and that might be intended. There’s no notecard or description for this installation nor did I find information about the artist JadeYu Fhang. And the title “EveryWhere and NoWhere”? This place is for sure not from our physical world, hence it is NoWhere and you find elements from EveryWhere.
Don’t mind, experience yourself!

“The Games We Play” by Krystali Rabeni is a comparably small installation, a game of chess but not on a flat board. The board has several levels and the chessmen are also moving up the vertical walls and the pawns are flying above the scenery. It looks busy. Again no information about this installaion nor about the artist.

Impressions of “The Games We Play” by Krystali Rabeni at Split Screen LEA 15

For another interpretation look at Inara Pey’s blog post. She added her thoughts. According to her Information LEA 15 will stay open until End of September 2017.

Both installations offer many opportunities for taking pictures and for experiencing 3D art in Second Life. Thank you Dividni Shostakovich for providing the space within LEA 15. Thank you JadeYu Fhang and Krystali Rabeni for the art. I enjoyed a lovely break in my Second Life exploring it.

Diary 2017 (131) August 9th – Red light break

In the diary post “slave Flo in heaven (II)” I reported that Mistress Jenny demanded that I’ll be out and about without her wearing the reverse straight jacket, hood and veil and the Mo gag covered by the veil – and the titeler that anybody can change but I can’t see. She said that she’ll keep me locked like this until I fulfilled her demand to her satisfaction. And I know, Mistress Jenny does what she says, hence I had no choice and I’d better do it soon.

The next day, Wednesday August 10th, I managed to come inworld one hour early, so that I could fulfil the assignment. I went to Heavy Bondage Club for half an hour and read profiles and took pictures of myself but none spoke to me nor seemed to be interested. I don’t know if anybody had changed the titeler and what it said though. Then I went to Domme a Domme and stood for another half hour by the “failed domme” sign. I still see myself as a dominant and not as failed (at least to everybody else but Mistress Jenny), but the sign did fit to the task. Again I took a couple of pictures and this time someone sent an IM to me praising my outfit (*sigh*). She knew me and Mistress Jenny as we’re quite often at DaD and she first assumed that I tied up myself.

August 9th: Ehesklavin Diomita out and about without Mistress at Heavy Bondage Clubd and at Domme a Domme

We had a short chat, then Mistress Jenny came inworld. She also had a short conversation with the one who spoke to me. Mistress took me back to our skybox and told me that she was pleased and satisfied, then she unlocked all restraints. She exchanged my collar to the heavy think leather and steel collar and explained that I may recover a few days, getting a little break within the red light.

slave Flo and sissy maid were at home. slave Flo had cleaned the whole house alone before – good girl. She learned her lessson (for now at least). Together with the slaves, we went to “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille” (see yesterday’s simploring post). We visited the Maison first. Mistress Jenny liked the elegance of the rooms combined with the views on Paris, just like I did. At the Elegant Femme Gallery we had a closer look at the pictures. Quite some of them show sissies, which makes this gallery outstanding. We discussed likes and dislikes and had a nice and relaxing hour together.

August 9th: Mistress Jenny, Diomita, slave Flo and Sissy maid visiting Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille

Our night ended at club DeLust where sissy danced for us and the other guests. I could relax a bit and wind down, but Mistress Jenny’s assignment that I fulfilled before will remain present.

Simploring 2017 (65) Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille

I met with Mistress Jenny Friday afternoon, August 4th, just shortly as I had RL obligations and Mistress wasn’t present at our regular party at night due to her obligations. When I came online at night I found a note from Mistress together with a landmark: “Have a look, if you get time”.

It was still half an hour before the party began, so I decided to have a quick look at it. The landmark let me to “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille” and I first read the description of it “Discerning elegant lesbians, t-girls, transvestites, shemales, crossdressers, herms & sissies who adore the sensual sensation of slipping on a pretty dress and stockings. Wearing Nylon or Nylons is mandatory.”

Impressions of entry hall and dancing hall at “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille”

I landed in an entry room decorated with erotic pictures of naked females and a big sign where to go and to wear nylons. I quickly put my nylons on and followed the sign which led me into a big hall with a lot more erotic pictures and many poseballs for dancing either alone or in group. That’s abviously a plce to meet and the hang out. One woman was dancing there alone during my visit. There are more signs, one pointing to the Elegant Femme Gallery and one to the Maison Sybille. I first explored the Maison Sybille.

The Maison is a large flat spread over 2 floors, equipped with antique and expensive furniture. From some windows and balkonies you have a nice look over Paris. The whole flat looks very elegant and you will see the BDSM equipment only when looking more in detail as it fits will into the overall design. There are some decorative cages, and on one wll I found a nice collection of paddles, whips and other gear for spankings. I assume that some of furniture has adult animations. For sure you are in the house designed and equipped by an elegant, distinguished and wealthy lady.

Impressions of Maison Sybille at “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille”

I continued my visit at “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille” with the Elegant Femme Gallery with is adjacent to the dancing hall. There are several rooms with beds, a big bathroom and many possibilities to retreat and have sex. Red is the dominating wall paper colour and all walls are decorated it erotic pictures of lesbians, shemales and sissies – most pictures are in black and white. You could spent a lot more time looking at the pcitures.

Diomita meets Sybille in the dancing hall (on the left), Diomita exploring the Elegant Femme Gallery (on the right)

Upon my return to the dancing hall at “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille” I met Sybille Saintes (sybillesaintes), the owner of the sim. She was very nice and told me that the maison was her home in SL some time ago and that she opened it to the public now. There’s just one rule to be followed strictly – wear nylons, they are mandatory. “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille” is a very large skybox, she herself spends more time at other places of her sim. Sybille showed me the teleporter pad at the dancing hall, which would bring me to other points of interest: “There is a red room, a shybox and still the whole land below. There you’ll find a rope slider, some funny theater with a dungeon, sort of.. and some spots for sitting on a beach and talking”

At the ground level of “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille”: The Roman temple, the zip line and the dungeon

As it was time for me to leave and get ready for our party, I postponed exploring the other points of interest at “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille” to the next day. And yes, there’s more to see. The ground level consists of several islands and rocks and as Sybille told me there’re spots to socialize or just to relax. Quite close to the top of the main island is a long zip line – that’s fun riding it! In the center of the main island is a large Roman temple. I wonder if Sybille organizes events to make use of it. And below the temple you find a dungeon. The dungeon is spacious but not dark and offers some bdsm equipment as well as enough rooms to store your subs and slaves.

Other skyboxes at “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille”: Skybath (upper left), Jazz Lounge (upper right) and Shybox (lower)

With the teleporter system you can visit other skyboxes named Skybath, Jazz lounge and Shybox. The Shybox with it’s lovely view over Paris is for sure my favourite amoung the many places at this sim. “Elegant Femme Gallery and Maison Sybille” is a nice mix between a family home, a private place and a public club – and for sure a place to visit and to explore for those who like the kinky side of Second Life. Thank you Sybille for opening your place to the public. I enjoyed my visit and I’m pretty sure that we visit it again, maybe even regularly.

Simploring 2017 (64) Diomita in Sansar

As I follow Inara Pey’s “Living in a Modemworld” blog, I also followed what is going on with Linden Lab’s most important project “Sansar”. In the beginning there were many rumors that Sansar might replace Second Life. Linden Lab always denied that and pointed out that Sansar is aimed to provide other virtual experiences. Inara had quite some blog entries about the progress of Sansar and it’s potential release date. Time flew by and now Sansar is avaible in a beta version. Inara tested it and provided the basics how to get started in her entry “Sansar: getting started the basics” and also reported about her first expereinces in her entry “Sansar: a handful of personal picks to visit and some tips

August 3rd – Diomita in Sansar visiting the Apollo museum

And I? I did try it myself :-). I created an account and made my first steps in this virtual world. I visited the Appollo Museum, a place called New World and 114 Harvest. The Apollo Museum is for sure very well made, it is edcuational and you can spend a lot of time there, as you’d do in RL. The 3D expierence is similar to Second Life, yet the movement of the avatar is more restricted and needs getting used to. The lighting with shadows of natural light and projectors is standard in Sansar and really good. As opposed to in Second Life you have to switch that on and I often have it off as it consumes a lot of ressources of my PC. I visited 2 other places: New World (an artful installation of bizarre trees, blue light and Buildings) and 114 Harvest. 114 Harvest looks like a street in a residential area somewhere in the US and I couldn’t get into the deeper sense of it. I could go in at least one house and walk around and see the cellar.

August 3rd – Diomita in Sansar visiting 114 Harvest and New World

I can see the difference between Sansar and Second Life. The graphics looks more natural – but to be honest at least at this phase of the project it is not that overwhelming compared to some sims that I visited in Second Life. Sansar might look very different using a head mounted display. The handling of Sansar for the user is a lot easier but I also miss a lot of features that we have in Second Life. It might be too early to judge about that.
I think Sansar really targets at other experiences as Second Life – it might be a nice addon to visit and to enjoy places like the Apollo museum.

Try out yourself. I will return to Sansar and have a look into it again.
