December 29th, 2017, I went simploring in the afternoon. Once again I followed a post from Inara Pey’s Living in a modemworld blog “A photogenic twirl in Second Life“. La virevolte is French and means turn or twist, hence the title of Inara’s post. And La virevolte is really picturesque but natural, it offers great opportunites for taking pictures.
La virevolte – overview
La virevolte is owned and created by Iska (sablina). There’s no landmark description. I looked up Iska’s profile which is quite empty except of one sentence “I love creating landscapes and dreaming inside“. For me these few words describe La virevolte perfectly. You can enjoy lovely views and you can dream and wind down there.

La virevolte is an island perfectly melted in a sim surround of high Mountains. The island itself has a flat part with no snow – it looks as if the wind has blown away the snow from this part of the island – and some higher rocky parts. There are a few houses spreaded on the island, also a few ruins. In the center a small natural fjord ends in a small pond. La virevolte looks really natural and I couldn’t get enough from the different views. Although it seems that there’s not much activity you can find some Christmas illuminations here and there and even around the ruins.

During my visit, Jenny came inworld and joined me there. She was not dressed for the cold. We tried some ot the places to cuddle and enjoyed the peace together. I think my pictures do show some of La virevolte‘s beauty. If you like winterly sims, don’t miss this sim and visit it before spring arrives. Well, it might be lovely in sping as well and another reason for me to return then.

Thursday, December 28th, was another of these quiet days between the years. I met with Jenny in the afternoon. She had just tried on a dress, that we both got a few days before and I dressed alike but choose another colour. We went to Domme a Domme and caught up there about the day before in SL and RL.

When slave Flo came inworld, we returned home. I added Jenny as an owner of slave Flo’s new drone suit and she decided to pull slave’s restrictions a but tighter. In addition I changed the suit’s colour to something between pink and purple, magenta? That’s it about the afternoon.

We spent most of our night with slave Flo. First we played two rounds of greedy, then we went out on a short kinkploring tour and visited Sins Keep and The Hideaway. Both places were empty. While Sins Keep is quite large and has a lot of equipment, The Hideaway is more cosy and offers also a nice photo booth. At The Hideaway we also found a nice punishment rack, which I might purchase for our sim.

Tuesday, December 26th, 2nd Christmas day or Boxer day as it is called in Britain, was quiet and relaxing for me both in RL and in SL. In the later morning I went online shortly as I noteced Jenny and Kitty being inworld. We caught up with, wished merry Christmas and Kitty got her present, a CC drone suit. We’re pretty sure that our Kitty will have fun with it and set to public it will offer a lot of opportunities for others to tease her, and for her to tease back.

In the afternoon I took the opportunity to go simploring again to a winterly island and I enjoyed the views and the peace that comes with Winter (see yesterday’s post here). After my simploring tour, I took our slave puppy Christa out of her cell. She made last corrections on her new puppy suit and I finally locked it and set her restrictions for the next 6 months. At night, I took slave pet out for another walk and we visited Mesmerize Dungeon and got some eye candy.

Wednesday, December 27th, I met Jenny again in the afternoon. We exchanged our Christmas gifts, Jenny had a wihte formal gown for me which I shall wear for our year end party on Friday most probably. I had a colourable latex dress for her, which is suitable either as a dominant or as an submissive outfit. we had another mutal gift, a dress that we both purchased, a very sexy and kinky latex dress: We changed into it before we went out to Domme a Domme and later for a dance at the Lesbian Loft. We really do look good like this, don’t we?

At night, I first met slave Flo and she got her Christmas present. Santa brought her a CC drone suit as well. She began immediately to unwrap her present and had a look into it. And then she already began to set it up, I watched her and when she was done, I sealed the suit on her.
When I was about to leave with Flo to visit a club, slave Bella came inworld. I took her to get a chastity belt and as soon as she got it, she was chastitied. slave Bella might become officially collared by us very soon. Then it was about time to wind down a bit in a club and I took the slaves to The Secret House to expose them.

Later also Argi joined us for a bit. And that’s it about these 2 days, quite relaxing and enjoyable overall.

December 26th, 2017 I made another simploring tour. I looked up the SL desination guide and scrolled through the recently added sims. There I found La Vie on page 2: “La Vie…formerly a bright sunny beach and then a colorful autumn paradise has now been snowed in. Come play in the snow in this photogenic spot before it’s gone“
La Vie in Winter – Overview
It’s my 3rd visit to La Vie, which is owned by designed by Krys Vita and Arol Lightfoot. I visited it in Summer in June 2016 (read here) and in Autumn in October 2017 (read here). La Vie seems to become a regular simploring destination for me.
La Vie in Winter – the house by the landing point
Again La Vie has changed a lot. It didn’t just snow and become cold. The whole island was redesigned. In the center of the winterly island is a pond, the shores are mostly rocky. There are a few houses spreaded over the island. Each looks cosy and inviting and is furnished and decorated for the season inside and outside. One road leads from the landing spot to another house and a Christmas tree sale. A chaple is located on the highest rock overlooking the island, but it’s hard to reach, you need to climb up the rocks.

There’re some opportunities to sit and cuddle and to enjoy, for example in a sleigh or even in Santa’s sleigh. La Vie sim offers lovely views and is another Winter paradise for those who love taking pictures like me. Completely new is a ski lift, which does not lead up to a mountain, there just 4 or 5 poles, but you can take a picture from a perspective where you don’t see that it doesn’t lead up to a mountain. And there’s one of these big snow vehicles that are used to prepare the slopes. And I even saw another visitor skiing. This way I got a little foretaste for my upcoming ski trip in RL.

In 2016 I began to blog almost daily, in 2017 I really succeeded to have an entry for every day. Blogging daily is a challenge as there’re days with not that much to report. In addtion, I’m not able to write every day due to other obligations and vacation. Hence I always have some posts on stock and I try to pile up a few more, when I’m off got a few days.
In 2017 I started to number the diary entries as well as the simploring posts. There were more than 200 diary entries and over 100 simploring reports. Over all the blog grew by 374 new posts bringing the total archive of this blog to over 1,100 posts.
As taking pictures is one of my passions in SL and storage space is not free, I also changed the way I publish my pictures and grouped them to save space. When you click the pictures you can see them a bit larger. I also post the pictures on deviant art (Diomita Maurer at Deviant art). There you get the pictures in a higher resultion. I uploaded more than 2,000 pictures in 2017.
We had more than 37,500 clicks this year, again a raise of 10,000 clicks compared to 2016. That’s on average more than 100 clicks per day. The blog attracted 8,500 visitors, an increase of 50% compared to 2016. Most clicks came from Germany (7,800), the US (6,900) and the UK (4,200). The statistics show that in total people from over 100 countries visited our blog. Also the number of followers increased to close to 100! Many thanks to all friends, readers and followers.
Most found our blog coming from search engines (7,500) and from deviantart.com (2,100). Again not only the new blog entries attract readers, there’re also some “evergreens”.

This blog contains a lot of memories for Mistress Jenny and me and for the people close to us in Second Life. It started as a little diary to keep up with all the things happening around us in Second Life and has grown with time. In the meanwhile I read back myself often to look up a date or to check if I came across a place already before. The diary entries became also more personal and you could follow how my submission to Mistress Jenny grew and became natural for me, but you could also follow how much I enjoy to have her as my sub, as my property during my green lights. She’s still owned vice versa and that’s not going to change.
I have fun writing and it’s my intention to continue daily, if I find the time for it. Considering how much of our free time in real life is spent in this virtual world it makes sense to keep the memories like you do in real life. The memories are real and they stay vivid and present this way.
That we attract so many readers who follow our ways in SL makes me happy and motivates me.

Unexpectedly I found some time for simploring on Christmas day. I decided to follow Inara Pey footsteps again and visited Fantasy Island. She wrote about it in her Living in a Modemworld blog “D 0 X: an Island Fantasy in Second Life“.
The landmark description read perfect for me and my plans for my free time: “Come and explore this Winter themed sim with a picturesque walk through the woods or just let the atmosphere lead you to one of the many spots to sit and relax. Happy Snapping! This sim is part of D o X Urben Gallery, opening January 7th 2018“
Fantasy Island Overview
Fantasy Island consists of 3 seperate and quite lonely islands. You land near to a cosy residential house. Next to the landing point is an information board and from here you can teleport to the gallery. I began my visit walking and exploring the first island. There’s just this one house. It looks very cosy inside, most probably also because of the Winter outside. Paradox Ivory, the owner and creator, managed to capture the Winter feeling and the nature really well. Walking around and exploring is just fun. You will find some deers roaming peacefully and you’ll find cosy places to sit and enjoy the view. The sim surround is selected perfectly and fits perfectly.
Impressions of Fantasy Island – around the landing point
To get on the other 2 islands of Fantasy Island you can rezz a row boat, which I did. On the second Island (the main island) is a modern wind mill and another house with a large and cosy outdoor patio. Here all is prepared for a dinner party. There are also menu cards on each place and it sound yummy (how fitting on Christmas!). Around the house you’ll find another larger outdoor place to sit and talk with several people. The nature on this 2nd island is simliar to the first and again you can find more cosy places and nice views.

The third and smallest Island is not inhabited. There’s just the ruin of a lighthouse, but you can look at the other two islands from here.
More impressions of Fantasy Island
Fantasy Island is perfect for a walk in Winter, for enjoying Second Life and for taking great pictures. Before I ended my visit, I peeked into the gallery, that will be opened January 7th, 2018. It is called D o X Urben Gallery. And it is not Urban, but I still need to find out what “Urben” means. Everything is prepared already for the opening. I also found a board announcing the first exhibition “Expansum”.

The Christmas days are quiet in Second Life, at least for me and for many others as RL has always first priority. This year Christmas began early for me as I had an RL invitation Saturday night, December 23rd. Jenny and I met each day at least for a bit.

We also met Angelique on Christmas and found time to talk and catch up with her. And we met our slave pet puppy Christa. On the pictures below Angelique wears the Dress she got from us for Christmas. slave pet’s Christmas present is to change into another puppy suit, pictures will follow soon.

Mistress Jenny and I spent a relaxing night with slave kelly on Thursday, December 21st. I showed club “Lust of Lesbian” to Mistress Jenny. Again the club was nearly empty, there was just one visitor who had found the landmark in a profile just like I did. We had a short conversation. Then we moved on to club DeLust, where slave kelly decorated us while Mistress and I sat on a lounger and talked.

Friday afternoon, we prepared for our Christmas party. We had to find the right outfit. Mistress had already selected her outfit when I came inworld and she took me to Brii as she saw something in pink there for me. I admit it looks cute, even on me, although it is a bit too girlie. We went to The Secret House, chatted a bit and then I changed for the party myself.

The theme for our regular Friday night party had to be Christmas. And it was a special party as it should be. Virgo played a lot of popular songs according to the theme. We danced and had a lot of fun and our sim was once again full (YAY). Mistress Jenny and I agreed to have a contest for the best Christmas outfit 2017 within our party. We offered a prize of 3,000 L$, shared according to the votes. Hence we had some extra fun and a motivation for all to dress up according to the theme. And the winner was Starry with 3 votes. Congratulations!

While Mistress Jenny was offline Tuesday and Wednesday, December 19th/20th, I had some time alone with the slaves. I spent most of my Tuesday night with simploring and sorting my closet and inventory. When slave Bella came inworld, I took her to The Secret House. Late at night Jenny joined us there for a bit. I just took one picture this night showing me and slave Bella.

Wednesday was varied. I the afternoon slave kelly was inworld and I went to our Fetisch Club Chez Maurer with her, and she had to entertain me and herself by masturbating. It’s so nice to have a slave begging to cum *winks*. At night I first visited a place named “Lust of Lesbian” with slave Flo. It’s a Lesbian cabaret hangout club with private rooms upstairs. I had visited the cabaret a day before the first time. Unfortunately the club was empty both times. I like the atmosphere there and I often wonder why some places become popular like The Secret House and others reamin empty. I know it all depends on the audience but I can’t figure out why. Anyway, slave Flo and I just had a look around and explored. After this visit we went to the Lesbian Teahouse, a place that we didn’t visit for quite a while. When slave kelly came inworld I picked her up at home and she joined me and slave Flo there. To my surprise I got a message later, that nakedness at the Lesbian Teahouse is not allowed – and I confess, that I never checked before but yes, it is a moderate sim – my mistake.

slave Flo left to bed, slave Bella came inworld. After a short visit at Mesmerize Dungeon with slave kelly and slave Bella, I thought it might be a good opportunity for the slaves to get a bit more known to eachother. Hence I took them home and we went to the office, where slave kelly, who had her satisfaction already before in the afternoon, pleased and tasted slave Bella. Again Jenny came inworld late at night and watched the two slaves together with me.

Sunday, December 17th, I came inworld late and slave Flo had to leave shortly after. I went to club DeLust with slave slut cecy and my very owned wife Jenny, where we just enjoyed the eye candy and chatted while slave slut cecy danced for us. Later I took Jenny home to the annex of our skybox and enjoyed being in control.

Monday, December 18th, we were able to see eachother in the afternoon. None of our slaves was present. I went to The Secret House and to Domme a Domme with Jenny, just to enjoy having her at my leash and at my feet. And I did enjoy it!

Monday night began a little bit crazy for me as too much was happening at the same time. When I came online I found someone who had joined our key holding service at home and was ready to be locked up, actually it was a human pony. I began taking the keys, locked the cuffs …. when Angelique joined me, puppy slave Christa came inworld and reported it, Jenny came online, Argi started a conference call and someone else IMd me …. and RL kicked in. What a start! I even found no time to take a picture of the locked up pony.
When things slowed down after nearly an hour I took slave puppy C and Jenny to Mesmerize Dungeon and we caught up properly.

After we brought slave puppy C back home, I retreated with Jenny to DeLust and we had a very relaxed hour there and later a home (no picutres of our time at home, I’m still enjoying my green light and being in control *winks*)
