Happy Easter – Follow your bliss

What to do on a Easter Sunday morning when the weather outside isn’t nice in RL? Follow your bliss 🙂

March 27th, Easter 2016 – Follow your bliss (1)

I intended to do a bit of simploring this morning.
I decided to visit Follow your bliss, again inspired by Inara Pey’s Living in a modemworld blog. Her post about this sim is titeled “Follow your Bliss in Second Life“. Inara’s description is very detailled as it is always, so I recommend reading it. Follow your bliss is just lovely. It is a world of cosy islands of which some are connected by bridges, others can be reached by using a boat. Thank you Elizabeth (ElizabethNantes), for providing this place for us all.
During my visit I was alone and enjoyed being on myself. There are many many many places to sit and cuddle, full of power and tranquility, perfect for letting go and unwinding. And that is what I did.

Dear Diary (25) March 19th: Exploring, chatting and Mistress Jenny’s rezzday

Saturday, March 19th, was quite a mixed day. It started with a visit to “The Trace Too“. I have visited this sim already several times and each visit was different. If you read the sim’s welcome notecard, you’ll know why: “Since 2013, owner Kylie Jaxxon has been showcasing her seasonal SIM, The Trace. In 2014, she was joined by Elvira Kytori also the owner of White Dunes Estate rentals. They have successfully collaborated  together on the continually changing SIM design

The sim offers many spots to sit and to look plus it is just great for taking pictures. I walked along the beach and to the lighthouse. What caught my attention in particular were fields of blooming lavendar. Although a bit too early for this time of the year, it just looks amazing and I could seemingly smell the odour.

You can read about The Trace Too and see pictures of it at various sites in the net like in The Trace flickr Group. There are also some posts about this sim not only in my blog but also in Inara’s blog “Enjoying spring at The Trace in Second Life” or in the SL Blogger Support “Location in the Spotlight: The Trace Too“. Thank you Kylie Jaxxon & Elvira Kytori for providing your lovely place for us throughout the seasons. I really enjoyed a lovely and relaxing hour at it.

As I waited to see Mistress Jenny in the afternoon, our slave Nina showed up and I took her to the “Lost Domme Resort”, as I had met slave Dana there. Usually that is a place for dommes to chill and to live out their softer (submissive) side. I should bring Mistress Jenny here next time *winks*. Anyway I spend time with slave Nina, teased her and chatted with her. She was a good girl, just like a slave should be.

Then Mistress Jenny showed up and of course she had to get her rezzday spanks: 8 smacks for 8 years :-). I enjoyed that very much and Mistress Jenny did not object and she even counted each smack. Congratulations, Mistress – and thank you for being with me and us all these years!

The Mill

March 12th: Diomita visiting “The Mill” (1)

Yesterday evening I found time for a bit of simploring again. I followed another recommendation of Inara Pey and visited “The Mill“. Her description “At home at The Mill in Second Life” is quite detailled and there is not much to add. I took the picture above because of the name of the sim. But that is just one place to discover here. The Mill offers a lot of opportunities to spend some hours in SL in a beautiful surrounding.

I was attracted by the sailing ship and the nice pier. A place to stay and chat with friends. The pier is adjacent to a lovely beach that I visited as well before I climbed up the hill to the ruins up there. I had a great view from there and tried the telescope. There are more places like that at “The Mill” where you can take outstanding SL pictures. The atmosphere is calm and I felt sort of being on vacation.

A visit to BarDeco

Feb 12th Visiting BarDeco: The BarDeco seen from the waterfront

Feb 12th Visiting BarDeco: The BarDeco seen from the waterfront

Another simploring post. Friday, Feb 12th, I visited BarDeco. I came across it once again by following Inara Pey’s blog “Visiting The Village in Second Life“. She herself was referring to another blog where BarDeco is described: Pearl Grey’s “Million Happy Endings ~ a sometimes intrepid exploration of a virtual world“. Pearl Grey (aka. riverpearl) simply titeled her post “BarDeco_ Secret Garden” and she saw it in winter.  The owner of BarDeco, Dandy Warhlol (terry.fotherington), himself wrote about BarDeco “a small village on the water where you can stroll beside the sea in a Zen atmosphere and relaxed – a drink and listen to the music of the best DJs in SL at Bardeco“.

Feb 12th Visiting BarDeco: Arriving in the middle of nowhere

Feb 12th Visiting BarDeco: Arriving in the middle of nowhere

When you arrive at BarDeco you seem to be in the middle of nowhere. Some derailed freight waggons, fog, a muddy road …. nothing for my heels. Good that we’re in Second Life where your shoes don’t get dirty! Following the road your first thought is that you’re in a ghost town where the nature has reconquered the land. But there are lights and when you take a closer look you see a chapel with light in it and you see that people are living here – at least in some houses. The chimney of one house is smoking, the illuminated advertising of a night club is still working, only the Motel seems really really abandoned.

Feb 12th Visiting BarDeco: Diomita drinking a coffee at the BarDeco

Feb 12th Visiting BarDeco: Diomita drinking a coffee at the BarDeco

And there is BarDeco itself. You can see that it is still alive. And according to one visitor who I met there there are a regular music events (according to the owner the best DJ’s in SL). I sat down and had a coffee before I continued my discovery at the waterfront. Here you can find really nice places to sit. Just imagine the sun would shine. The whole atmosphere of BarDeco is quite dense, somehow sad and suppressive and the foggy windlight setting (don’t change that) adds to it. But when the sun came out I could get a first impression how nice BarDeco could be.

I walked along the old industry site where it is dirty and a bit scary until I reached the chapel again, where I ended my visit. This sim once again proves what is possible in SL and how creative People are. Thank you Dandy Warhlol for providing BarDeco for us!

Diary (15) Feb 11th / 12th

I had various fun activities for my rezzday. First Inara’s blog post “Playing with a hovercraft in Second Life” brought my attention to an activity that I hadn’t done for a while: sailing. So first of all I got this hovercraft, a freebie, that you can get on the marketplace. I tried it at home and it works really fine on land as well as on water. But I wanted more and so I looked out for places to travel with the hovercraft over water. But, I wasn’t aware at first that you need rezzing right. But I found enough spots, yay!

Feb 11th: Diomita and her new hovercraft

Feb 11th Speeding with my hovercraft

While I was looking for places to rezz the hovercraft I came across a free sailboat at Poseidon Island. The sailboat is called Nemo 3 and for a beginner or just to have some fun it is really nice. The downside is that everytime you cross a sim border my avi didn’t sit correct anymore, so I had to stand up and sit again.

Feb 11th: Sailing my new boat Nemo 3

Feb 11th: Sailing my new boat “Nemo 3”

The best place for rezzing that I found was at Cutter’s Cove Marina.
While I was sailing, slave Flo came online and I decided to let her have the seat next to me. She might have been the first latex slave nun to go sailing ever and I can tell that she enjoyed it.

Feb 11th: Diomita sailing her new boat "Nemo3" with latex slave nun Flo

Feb 11th: Diomita sailing her new boat “Nemo 3” with latex slave nun Flo

It was my rezzday and so I got some people to say hello me. Who the heck has invented the tradition that you get smacked on your behind when it’s your rezzday? It started already late Tuesday night when Jenny managed to get online. She enjoyed delivering 8 smacks on my behind. After I finished sailing with my latex slave nun we met sklavin Gebby, slave cecy and my niece Angelique at home. Angelique seemed to have just waited for that. She reminded me of the spanking tradition and demanded that I bend over to receive them *sighs*. What a brat we raised! And she couldn’t get enough. After she was done with the 8 smacks she began to discuss with the slaves. After all, usually the slaves are not permitted to share the tradition, at least not with regard to their owners. But Angelique negotiated with latex slave nun Flo, who couldn’t use her arms anyway …. and she delivered another 8 smacks pretending that those were from Flo. She had fun! (and I had fun too *winks*).

With my bum still nicely warmed up it was time to have some bondage fun. Hence I used the opportunity and suspended latex slave nun sklavin Gebby and placed slave cecy and latex slave nun Flo just under her. This picture is way more appropriate, isn’t it?

The timing this year couldn’t be better as to finish my rezz day celebration we had our regular Friday night party on Feb 12th.

Dio’s 8th year in Second Life Feb 11th, 2016

Today is my 8th rezzing anniversary in Second Life. It has been a real addition to my real life throughout these years and I hope it will continue for more and more years, as it hasn’t lost it’s facination and it’s addiction for me. As every year on the occasion of my rezzing day I write a longer blog post summarizing the last year. I’m blessed with a stable environment in SL, a base from which I can explore and discover myself, my (not so secret) kinks as well as the beauty of Second Life and the creativity of the residents building this temporary virtual world.
We, Jenny and I and the whole Eurobrat family still live at Mount Everest Island. It’s great that we could keep it for all these years. Tyra (Tyra.Sciarri) and Virgo (Virgo.Babii) on one side and Sarah (Sarah.Fhang) on the other side are still our neighbours. Thank you! Our island didn’t undergo dramatic changes but we continued to develop it. Last year we moved the dungeon from a skybox to the ground level and covered it with a hill. I learned how to build rooms underground and how to make an entrance to it. It looked so easy, but it isn’t. And I know now how elaborated some other sims with large underground areas are. I was about to add more space underground but it means to raise the base level and will take a lot of more building work. This might be the next change for this year. As in RL, there’s always something to do.
Along with building the new dungeon we also build a small very private dungeon just for Jenny and me, where we can retreat to for some private playing.
20151231 Our new dungeon_003
With regard to our family we had again some changes:
We had to face reality and released our “poor” bondage victim qt (queen.takacs), aka, Maurer’s It and our inspiring sub Rona (ronapotter.resident), aka. Maurer’s Künsterlin. qt became the victim of a hackers attack. She was more than 4 years our bound victim. We miss her wit and the way she teased us about being not strict enough with her. She returned after the hacker attack with a provisional alt to tell us what happened, but after all she shyed away from building her world and avatar from the scratch again. She was always nervous when we had to change anything as the technique and software issues were something she really disliked. All the best for you, qt, from Jenny and me and the whole Eurobrat family and friends… mmmuuuhhhh *winks*.
We don’t know what happened to rona. It’s more than a year now that she left SL. This is really a downside of this virtual world, that you don’t know what happened to people who leave all of a sudden. We can just hope that rona is doing well.
20151231 Rona and qt
We collared Gebby as Maurer’s sklavin on August 11th, 2015. Gebby is a very obedient slave, always following her rules very attentively. She’s always in chains, or in a cell or restricted in some way. After some experiments we finally enforced spoke-when-spoken to on her permanently. Gebby can only speak when the trigger word “sklavin” is spoken in main chat and of course she has to answer then. This keeps her very attentive and we appreciate it. We might play around with this a bit more this year and make slight changes.
We collared Nina as Maurerien orja on December 15th. Nina is from Finland and Maurerien orja means nothing else than Maurer’s slave in Finish. Orja has a constant desire for bondage and we will certainly take advantage of it as we see fit. Slave Nina will also become kind of our phographer slave thus contributing to our blog and getting some work done for us. She has an own deviantart account and documents her Second Life with pictures there. This way we become aware of her activities when we give her some days off in addition to the steady control we enact. slave Nina will also support slave Flo in keeping our house clean.
Welcome to the family to both of you!
20151231 Gebby & Nina
We sold our slave Dana on December 27th, 2014, as I wrote here a year ago in my last anniversary blog entry. Dana was our collared brat for more than 4 years. To make a longer story short, Dana came back under our wings and under our control. Once again we had a good merchandise to offer for the right domme. Finally, Dec 31st, 2015, we sold Dana again. Her new owner is in her timezone. As we did the last time, we gave full warranty for the slave and will take her back within the warranty time. As we won’t reimburse the money, that’s always a good deal.
And as of today it looks as if we will get slave Dana back under our wings again very soon. Will we get rich?
So right now the family consists of the 3 slaves – slave Flo, sklavin Gebby and slave Nina – and Angelique and Kitty.
Slave Flo (florence.riddler) was around and with us most reliably of all of our family. She kept the house clean and spoiled us with her dedication. Of course she still tests her limits and needs to be punished and restricted every once in a while but beside her complains we know she enjoys that as much as her owners do. Thank you for your contribution to our family, slave Flo.
Angelique started a new adventure by joining the uniform punishment group, where she had some fun and she still is in this group (read: https://themaurers.wordpress.com/2015/09/06/angeliques-diary-the-uniform-punishment/). Beside that Angelique had a really hard time in RL that had it’s effect on her SL. Her online times changed and we don’t see her as often as we would like. As our niece she always enjoyed some special freedom and it is just great having her around. I’m quite sure that we will find ways of playing together again. Anyway, we love you, Angelique!
Kitty (Santana.Thibedeau) settled more and more in her female role. Jenny and I love to tease “her”. She really looks female now, more like a vamp and we support her change with advice and motivation. Beside diving deeper into her femsub role, Kitty still contributes with wit and silly jokes to our SL and makes it brighter. Thank you for being our’s, Kitty.

20151231 Dana & Kitty & AngeliqueIn May 2013 we started a little series “Enjoying bondage”. Surprisingly we could keep it up until today so we might reach the 3rd anniversary for this series soon. Last year we had 2 in my eyes extraordinary entries. The first was roaming around tied up, which is more fun than I thought and it offers a lot of opportunities to take pictures. The fun is more than doubled if you do it together with someone else as I did together with Jenny
(see https://themaurers.wordpress.com/2015/05/14/enjoying-bondage-may-2015-diomitas-and-jennys-tied-up-fun/). The second was about suspension. Several slaves and guests were excited about a picture in our dungeon, that shows a slave, fully encased in a latex catsuit and latex hood, that is suspended from the ceiling by her arms. Thus this became another theme for the enjoying bondage series. With the MD cuffs you can suspend a slave accordingly and we had several models for our series. Together with a simple plain white background it looks really artful (see https://themaurers.wordpress.com/2015/11/06/bondage-art/)

20151231 Enjoying bondage 2015
And this year started promising as we decided to choose a similar latex outfit for our 3 slaves. We called it living latex dolls and improved it more and more. As we did we even got 3 other living latex dolls to share the fun: slave L, slave Mii and slave cecy. In January we had several nights enjoying bondage and finally I succeeded to publish a picture of all of our living latex dolls.

Enjoying bondage January 2016: Living Latex dolls slave cecy, slave Mii, sklavin Gebby, slave L, slave Flo and slave Nina

Slave Flo contributed not only to our family by her submission and dedicated work but she also contributed to the blog by adding a little survey (The Health study, see https://themaurers.wordpress.com/2015/03/07/the-health-study-by-slave-flo-part-i/) and by writing a fiction (The Accountant, part I and II just published this week!). Both will be continued hopefully. Slave Flo had also an important part in Toy’s appearance last year. Toy (formerly known as Karen Emms) joined us last summer as a kidnappee and the roleplay with her was real fun. Unfortunately timezone and RL were against us and we had to let her go before we could collar her. Toy wrote a diary for us which I published in 3 parts in our blog.
20151231 Toy and Flo
Scrolling back in the blog I noticed that I did quite some simploring last year. As mentioned above, visiting sims is still one of my favourite activities in Second Life and it is again and again amazing what people build mainly for themselves but also for others to enjoy and share. I need to mention that most of my simploring tours have their origin in Inara Pey’s “Living in a modemworld”- blog, that became my never ending source of great places to visit in SL. Thank you, Inara! If you select the category “Exploring sim in Second Life” in the blog you will get a long list of blog entries about my tours. It is nearly impossible to pick just one as my favourite of last year. For sure my autumn tours were a highlight for me (see the 3 blog-entries “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are octobers”). Also before Halloween Ironwood Hills was another highlight. We visited this sim several times.
20151231 Simploring 2015
Speaking of our activities in Second life beside our bdsm, I also enjoyed a lot the “hunts”. The hunts are organized by the store owners in SL and they take you around the shops with riddles to solve and you get a little giveaway in every shop. Some of the giveaways are really worth the long hunt, most are just giveaways that you store away or bin quickly. But it’s fun to solve the riddles and to search the giveaways and you get around in SL. In addition the hunt fulfills what it is intended for. We visted some of the stores again later to buy something.
My Second Life with Jenny couldn’t be better. Our relation is still developing and changing after all these years. For our 7th wedding anniversary I made a little video that also provides a bit of insight into our relation, but mostly it is simply a thank you to Jenny and what she is for me and the family in SL.
We switch control back and forth but there were some very intensive weeks for both of us. I pushed my beloved Ehesklavin into subspace for several weeks in the time before and around of her 7th collaring anniversary in June 2015. I remember, that it was not at all easy for me to let her get out of subspace again and recover. I for sure enjoy her submission. Also before our wedding anniversary last year Jenny allowed that I take control for a longer while. Having my Ehesklavin on a leash has become something very particular for me and I do enjoy every second. Last year Jenny became the one, who decides about granting control to me, whereas she takes control whenever she sees fit. She always tries to consider my mood as long as I make her not wait too long. But it is up to her.
Mistress Jenny herself put me into several also longer red lights, after which I had troubles to recover my dominant side. Mistress knows exactly which buttons she has to push. My submission to Mistress has become very strong and she brought it to the point by saying in passing “I could own you in an instant”, but she also added “but you will always own me”. Mistress Jenny’s will to control me is strong and I might experience longer phases in subspace in near future. I can’t be prouder owning her and being her property. Thank you, my wonderful wife!
20151231 Changing control
What is missing? Yes, an actual portrait picture of me as I start my 9th year in SL. For a change this year it won’t be just a portrait picture as my face and hair style didn’t really change and luckily you don’t get any unwanted wrinkles in SL (too bad you still get them RL). End of 2015 I bought a mesh Body, the Maitreya Lara mesh body. I did that mainly to play with it and to get familiar with the technique. But after a while I began to like it. One big downside is that I can’t use my skin anymore and my tattoos are on my skin. But you can wear tattoos with a mesh body with an applier. Unfortunately I’m not (yet) familiar how to make the tattoos myself. But I found someone who made them for me and they are at the right place marking me as Jenny’s wife and property. Once I had the tattoos, I began feeling very comfortable with my new body (once again, what a shame that you can’t just buy a new body in RL). Another downside is that you can’t wear the clothing layers from the prim body. You have to get so called appliers and beside that you have to wear mesh clothes. Now I needed some new clothes. I said it is a downside? Maybe that’s an upside indeed as I did some shopping and shopping is fun, isn’t it? Anyway, here are some pictures of me as I enter my 9th year in SL.
20160131 Diomita Maurer Maitreya Mesh BodyThank you all for making this world for me and for us. SL is first of all about people and it’s you all who make my and our SL what it is: Still going strong, still enjoyable and still exciting! It was a great 8th year in Second Life and I look forward to the 9th!

The Adirondacks in Second Life

Diomita visiting the Adirondacks

Diomita visiting the Adirondacks

I found time for simploring again. This time Inara’s “Living in a Modemworld”-blog brought me to the Adirondacks. I’ve been there in RL and hence I was attracted by the title already. It is a demonstration region for Sera Bellic’s Lick Sim Designs. She writes about it “Experience the Adirondacks. Your gateway to endless fun. Come and sit a spell, take in the majestic views, experience the thrill of cliff diving and explore our many hidden spots to relax and visit with friends or cuddle with that special someone.”

Right when you land in the sim you’ll need to swim to get to the other shore to start exploring. Yet there’s not so much to see but nature, the forests and rocks. I walked around. It reminded me of hiking through the Adirondacks. The Region is very well made for those loving pure and lonesome nature. There’s not that much to do. You can sim, you can even try high diving from one ot the many rocks.

Diomita (yes, that's me in the picture) is high diving

Beside that enjoy the quietness and the views. You will find some places for camping and just for sitting and chatting (if you go with friends). If you join the Group you may rezz items for your pictures.

You will find a more detailled description in Inara’s blog “Experience the Adirondacks in Second Life” For those who love taking landscape pictures or seeking a timeout I can recommend the Adirondacks. Just don’t expect more that you’d expect from a visit in RL. Enjoy!

High Water

Yesterday I visited “High Water“. Again a sim that I found following Inara Pey’s Living in a Modemworld blog “High Water in Second Life

High water is more or less a flooded flat sim with scattered trees, grass islands, flowers, some animals, horses … and the clouds are rushing by on the skies. I didn’t change the windlight setting for my visit and just took it as it was set. It takes some time to discover the hidden places to sit and relax. My first impression was that there’s nothing to see, but there is enough to discover.
First of all I stepped with my high heels in the ankle deep water ….

Then I found a horse to ride and to stay dry, but honestly that was really not the right outfit for riding a horse, hence I changed.

It is way more convenient to visit by riding a horse and it was fun to gallop and to hear the noise of the hooves. As Inara wrote, beside this noise you won’t hear much (if you don’t turn music on, what I forgot when i visited). Nonetheless the atmosphere is somehow very calming and its a place to wind down and to enjoy. The sim was created by Morton Funk (mortonfunk). I searched to find some words from him about his creation, but all I found is this snippet about High Water in his profile: “never underestimate creative people and the depths that they will go

Diomita in art – Gates of memories

I found some time for simploring again. Yesterday I visited the “Gates of memories“. The sim’s description in the landmark is short: “We don’t remember days, we remember moments“. So what is it about? Basically it is a sparse winter landscape with two small houses. The whole island is snowbound and it is snowing permanently. Embedded in this scenery is art which is outstanding in the quite monotonous scenery.

As the whole island is snowbound and the sky is gray and as it is snowing, you won’t see many colours. Hence, every coloured piece gets particular attention in this surrounding, like the coloured paper laterns that you see first time when landing in the sim. Later I came across a red car with a christmas tree on it’s roof. This car would not get any attention elsewhere but here it is a real eye candy, literally glowing red.

For me, “Gates of memories” represents another way to exhibit art. You can become part of it as you walk through it, sit beside it or even on it, get close to it and as you become part of it as a counterpart of the art itself. The fact that the art is in a virtual world and thus only exsists temporarily plus the fact that you become part of the art by walking through it or standing next to it , makes a visit unique. What is left are memories and maybe a few pictures which capture the moment.

There’s a detailled description of the sim in Inara Pey’s “Living in a Modemworld” blog titeled “Stepping through the Gates of Memories in Second Life” with her impressions of this region. “Gates of memories” was created by the photographer shelly70 and the following quote from her profile fits perfectly with her sim “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away“.

Forest of Dreams

Today I found once again a quiet hour to roam and explore SL. I looked at Inara’s Living in modemworld blog and visited her latest recommendation “Forest of Dreams“. The name describes the sim perfectly. It might be a coincidence but the name also fits to the name of the region “Isle of Peace”. The creator, Nessa Zamora (noralie78,resident), wrote about the sim “A world straight out of a fairytale where you can find magical creatures around every corner. A haven for  those who look for a tranquil environment, a home for fairies, fauns, elves and those who love to be lost in a dreamworld

What I notice right from the beginning of my tour was the magic of colours and light. The forest is very colourful and there are lots of mysterious light effects that enhance the feeling of being in dreamland. There are, as written in the description, some legendary creatures. One of them, a flying gnom accompanied me again and again. You can see the gnom flying above my left shoulder in picture (2). I roamed through the forest and enjoyed the dream. There are many places to sit and watch and also quite some animals, like butterflies, swans and peacocks. There are several waterfalls and a river that winds through the forest. You can take a row boat and see the forest from another perspective, what I did.

After exploring on foot and by boat it was time to relax and enjoy and to try out one of the many cosy places. Honestly, it was way to early for a glas of wine, but I felt for it.

I ended my visit with getting an overview over the whole island and I can report that really most of it is fully covered with forest. But there are also some higher mountains with a beautiful view and on top of one is a place to mediate.

My quiet hour flew by really quickly. Thank you, Nessa! I will for sure come back to cuddle here with Jenny.
