Simploring 2020 (15) Florence At Low Tide

In March 2019 I visited Florence Bay (Simploring 2019 (34) Florence Bay). When I looked for a destination for simploring at scoop.it SL Destinations on Saturday, February 8th, I came across Maddy Gynoid’s blog post about “Florence At Low Tide” – and the name rang a bell.

Florence Bay was a moderate homestead owned by Gnaaah Xeltentat and Tomaso Franizzi. It was originally designed, created and landscaped by Minnie Atlass. I learned in Maddy’s blogpost that Florence Bay was taken over by it’s designer Minnie Atlass in August 2019 and Minnie integrated it into her sims under the name “Soul2Soul Rapids”.

Florence At Low Tide is the new home of Gnaaah Xeltentat and Tomaso Franizzi. It has been designed and landscaped by Iska (sablina). I have visited quite some sims designed by Iska (sablina), my last visit to one of her creations was La Digue (Simploring 2019 (119) La Digue – an Autumn walk).

Florence At Low Tide – overview

Florence At Low Tide is a moderate homestead, a quiet, peaceful spot somewhere in the Mediterranean, I’d say somwhere in South France (although there’re no tides as far as I know). The landing point is at the shore that has been revealed by the the retreating water during tide. Boats are laying on the ground and some nice citizens have brought loungers and other seating opportunities to the shore.

I explored the village that really has a Mediterranean touch. A large villa with pool is close to the landing point. The houses at Florence At Low Tide are typical for the region, most of them are not furnished though. Quite close to the landing is a bar and an event area. I sat down and enjoyed the atmosphere before I walked to the lighthouse. Also on this side of FLorence At Low Tide the tide caused boats to lay on the ground. I peeked inside of a smaller hut and discovered a piano and a nice polstered lounger, hence I called it “Piano hut”

Quite outstanding for a Mediterranean setting is the big mountain in the Northeast with a high waterfall. The waterfall feeds a creek that flows into the sea. There’s a balloon hovering above of the waterfall – and you can sit in its gondola and enjoy the view from up there.

What I loved most is the area around a small church as it offers all what remembers me of my trips to South France in RL. Lavender, wine and sun flowers and the typical architecture of the houses. Just beautiful. I had the impression I almost could smell the lavender.

Florence At Low Tide is a beautiful sim, perfect for taking pictures and perfect to wind down and let your mind wander. Thank you Iska (sablina) for the design, thank you Gnaaah Xeltentat and Tomaso Franizzi for sharing your home with the public! I enjoyed my short trip to South France.

Dio’s 12th year in Second Life Feb 11th, 2019 – Part II

Yesterday, I had my 12th anniversary of joining Second Life.
It has become a tradition for me to write a longer blog post on the occasion of my rezzdays, to have a look back on the last year and to realize the changes in my Second Life as well as the things that didn’t change. Yesterday, I published Part I of my anniversary entry and talked about my closer family and the changes in my family. Today’s part II is about the simploring tours I made in my 12th year.

12 years in Second Life – part II: My simploring tours

Let me start with my simploring tours about art in Second Life. I admire the creativity of artists in this virtual world, I visited galleries like Lyric Art Gallery, La Masion D’Aneli, 20][21 gallery, Rey’s Gallery, Shui Mo Gallery, Milly Sharple’s Fractal galleries, Daphne.Arts and Deva Westland’s Galerie Des Beaux-Arts. I visited and wrote about 7 installations of Cica Ghost, who continues to conjure a smile in my face with every of her funny whimsical creations. I saw fewer art installations since the Linden Endowment for the Arts (LEA) is on hold. But some private initiatives luckily provide space or the artists themselves dedicate their own space. Just recently I saw an exhibition of Mistero Hifeng’s art at Valium Creek Art Park. I saw “The Mind Melter” by Thoth Jantzen at VeGeTaL PLaNeT, I saw “Lalawood” by Theda Tammas, Yoon (onyxxe), Iono Allen and JadeYu Fhang at La Maison d’Aneli as well as “Binary Radiation” by Nino Vichan. I saw Twilights Doors by Bo Zano (Bozanonl Resident), “The Outer Garden” by bisou Dexler, “Inferno” by Noke Yuitza, “Avaloir” by Eupalinos Ugajin, Undertones by Oluja (artistik Oluja) and “Delicatessen – Tell Me a Story” by Meilo Minotaur.

Since January 2020 the blog has a new category for blogposts about art in Second Life, I won’t categorize old entries though.

I found many cosy and lovely sims where people built their own dreamworld, peaceful and picturesque. You don’t need many prims or a large place for it, Nevgilde Gaard or Black Mire – around hi-cafe are examples for that. Most of these dreamworlds were homesteads: Florence Bay, Authors Point, Secondlife National Park, Maderia Springs, Blaylock Island, Scarlett Isle, Carolina, Broken, Alternate Reality, Fleur Nederland [Dutch], La Digue, Northern Shore – Skärgården, Soul of Dreams … just to name a few. In these sims I spent relaxing hours and enjoyed the views and the peace.

Some were really particular. I want to mention Last Dove, a sim like a movie. It’s setting is based on Lonesome Dove, a 1985 Western novel by American writer Larry McMurtry. Last Dove is still open if you haven’t seen it yet. I also liked Kun-Tei-Ner, a sim that provided a scary view into mankind’s future, a place with no land, a city that grew up on a huge mountain of containers filled with broken technological stuff. And just recently I visited the SS Galaxy, the largest cruiseship in Second Life – impressive, in particular when you consider it’s history.

Then there were the sims that have a real background, where a place in the physical world was build in Second Life. This way I got a picture, an idea of the real places and my visits gave reason to do a little bit of research. Venice in Italy was one of these impressing places and I spent some time exploring it.
I had never heard about Ukivok before and now I have the feeling that I’ve been there already. I had heard of Huntington Beach before but wasn’t aware of it’s oil industry history. I also had heard and read of North Brother Island, yet I haven’t been there in real life (yet). Now I somehow feel like I’ve been there. I learned a lot about Chesapeake Bay, a place I’ve been to twice in reality already being not aware of it’s history.

I also discovered many places related to my kinky side, to BDSM. That’s another dream you can live in Second Life and I do. Unfortunately some of these places don’t stay long like the Elevate Femdom Lounge, Windhaven or Meadow Rose. Also some adult places, that we liked to visit every once in a while, are gone now like The Apostasy or Angel of Pain’s BDSM island (Remark: Angel of Pain has a successor sim)

Gone: The Apostasy (upper left) / Angel of Pain’s BDSM Island (upper right) / Dungeon at Windhaven (lower left) / Meadow Rose (lower right)

Just recently I discovered Caged Elegance, a club with many member, lots of events and all sort of kinks. I enjoyed my visit to Catena et Cavea, an adult sim that is also really picturesque. Amrum is another place I not only went to for simploring but also for a session with Mistress Jenny when I had a green light. I like in particular the BDSM vacation home there.
We visited The Obliviation Hole RLV Prison of Starbright Wingtips who gave us a full tour. The prison and what is going on there is a regular subject when we chat during our Friday night parties.

Thank you all for building, for creating and for sharing your dreams (kinky or not kinky) with the rest of the community. And please apologize if I did not mention all of my tours, it were simply too many. I did really enjoy all of my simploring tours!

End of part II, tomorrow’s part III will be about the other highlights of my 12th year.

Simploring 2019 (34) Florence Bay

Thursday, March 14th, I visited Florence Bay together with Angelique. It was nice to have Angelique with me on my tour. I had the landmark on my list of places for a while already since I read Inara Pey’s blog post “A rendezvous with Florence Bay in Second Life” back in September 2018. Just a few days before I finally went visiting, Florence Bay was also listed again in scoop.it SL Destinations.

Florence Bay – overview

Florence Bay is a (moderate) homestead owned by Gnaaah Xeltentat and Tomaso Franizzi. It was originally designed, created and landscaped by Minnie Atlass. Florence Bay is a rocky island with dark gravel shores formed in the shape of a horse shoe.
The landing is at a pier close to a lighthouse at one end of the horse shoe. Angelique and I searched a way from there to the houses we could see from the landing pier but there’s no path. Hence we had to climb and search our own way.
We first went to the lighthouse and then back, climbed up the rocks and visited the cafe, from which you have a nice overlook over the bay. We both wondered how the guests may reach the cafe.

Quite close to the landing is another curiosity – a garage with car, but there’re no streets on the whole island. From the garage you can walk on the top of the rocks along the whole island and make side trips to the shore. But don’t expect too many paths. There’re stairs from the shore to the rim of the rocks at some places though.

Impressions of Florence Bay (2)

Angelique and I visited the chapel which had another curiosity in stock for us, as there’s no altar but a buddha statue inside of it. We went to the raft with a tent and a sail, that is nearby. And we had fun sitting on a bench that is in front of two funny birds who seemingly talked with us.

Impressions of Florence Bay (3)

Florence Bay has two private residences, those of Gnaaah Xeltentat and Tomaso Franizzi and you’re kindly asked to respect the privacy there. Gnaaah confirmed to me later, when I had the opportunity to talk with him, that the rest of Florence Bay is public.
Florence Bay offers a lot of beautiful views and places to cuddle and enjoy And Angelique and I enjoyed exploring as well as trying out some of the places to sit and cuddle. There’s a lot of nature and animals like birds, seals, deers and many other who live peacefully here. And of course I took many pictures.

Impressions of Florence Bay (4)

We ended our visit with a long stay on the cuddle pier just below of one of the private houses. A seal was watching us and a few other seals were sunbathing close by.

Impressions of Florence Bay (5)

Florence Bay is a peaceful place to retreat to. It’s once again a personal dreamworld, and we could sense the love and the passion that went into it’s creation. I appreciate a lot that Gnaaah Xeltentat and Tomaso Franizzi share their world with the public. Thank you!
And the above mentioned curiosities just make Florence Bay a bit more unique and outstanding.

Diary 2019 (39) March 14th Kinky fun with the slaves and more

Thursday, March 14th, was a varied day and night for me. I met with Mistress Jenny in the afternoon and we went to club Domme a Domme to catch up with our mutual news – and we also went there at night before Mistress Jenny left to bed.

March 14th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita at clubd Domme a Domme

But there was more *winks*. I was inworld early at night and met with Angelique. She was in a bad mood and signalized it by wearing at titeler “Careful – bad mood”. In addition she was dressed very casual.
I decided to do something to cheer her up and invited her to accompany me on a simploring tour. We went to Florence Bay and spent a very relaxed hour there, not only exploring it but also cuddling and chit chatting. I think we both enjoyed the togetherness. More about Florence Bay in tomorrow’s simploring report.

March 14th: Angelique and Diomita enjoying togetherness at Florence Bay

We returned home and played a greedy and Mistress Jenny and soon after also slave Flo joined us there. Angelique went off to be to cure her headache.
Mistress Jenny and I decided to take slave Flo with us to our office. When slave slut cecy spoiled slave Flo with her tongue two days before, slave Flo couldn’t get enough of it and asked several times for something bigger and harder – and she should get her wish fulfilled. I selected a big strapon with spikes and inbuilt vibrator and was just about to fuck slave Flo, when slut cecy came inworld as well.

March 14th: Mistress Jenny and Diomita with slave slut cecy and slave slut Flo at home

Mistress Jenny took the opportunity and ordered slut cecy to spoil her with her tongue while I fucked slave Flo with the spiked strapon. Honestely, it seems that slave Flo develops and might become even more slutty than our slave slut cecy.
When I was done fucking slave Flo, I relaxed and sat down. Mistress Jenny rewarded slut cecy with allowing her to ride the bottle in our office while this time slave Flo spoiled Mistress with her tongue. Eventually slave slut cecy had her orgasm in both worlds and Mistress Jenny was satisfied as well.
Mistress Jenny and I ended our time in SL that day, just like we began it – at club Domme a Domme.
